The type=track branch authorises on _is_my_case(t_attach.case) only and never checks VinceTrackAttachment.shared. A coordinator-uploaded case artefact that has NOT been marked shared is still retrievable by any case member who has (or is sent) its uuid — leaks not-yet-released coordinator material to vendors on the case.

Any authenticated case participant can fetch any OTHER vendor's CaseStatement + per-vul CaseMemberStatus by supplying that member's id — test_func only checks _is_my_case, not ownership of kwargs['member']. • Jul 20, 2026The SyncTeX parser (synctex_parser.c) shipped with TeX Live and embedded by downstream consumers such as GNOME Evince contains a heap use-after-free vulnerabiliCVE-2026-63729 · Other software · TeX Live · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.8

The SyncTeX parser (synctex_parser.c) shipped with TeX Live and embedded by downstream consumers such as GNOME Evince contains a heap use-after-free vulnerability that allows attackers to crash applications or potentially execute arbitrary code by supplying a malformed .synctex or .synctex.gz file. A malformed SyncTeX file can construct a ref node with a NULL parent pointer, causing the replacement routine to fail to detach the node from its sibling chain, which triggers recursive freeing of live tree nodes and leaves dangling pointers that are later accessed by the parser during document load.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
