  • Oct 28, 2026GraphQL Tools provides utilities for building, stitching, and mocking GraphQL schemas.CVE-2026-118666 · Other software · ardatan · reported by GitHubMedium 6

GraphQL Tools provides utilities for building, stitching, and mocking GraphQL schemas. Prior to version 1.1.36 of the GraphQL Tools legacy WebSocket executor package, buildWSLegacyExecutor in packages/executors/legacy-ws/src/index.ts reuses one WebSocket and replaces its single websocket.onmessage handler whenever a new overlapping subscription starts. The handler delivers LEGACY_WS.DATA frames to the newest observer without comparing data.id with the subscription operation id, so a caller using the same executor can receive another user's authorized subscription payload while the earlier caller's stream is starved. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.36 of the GraphQL Tools legacy WebSocket executor package.

  • Oct 28, 2026GraphQL Tools provides utilities for building, stitching, and mocking GraphQL schemas.CVE-2026-118665 · Other software · ardatan · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

GraphQL Tools provides utilities for building, stitching, and mocking GraphQL schemas. Prior to version 1.1.36 of the GraphQL Tools legacy WebSocket executor package, buildWSLegacyExecutor in packages/executors/legacy-ws/src/index.ts retains request.extensions.connectionParams in the closure-scoped executorConnectionParams object after cleanupWebsocket closes a connection. When one executor is reused across different authorization contexts, a later request that omits a sensitive key can send an earlier caller's Authorization or tenant value in its connection_init payload, causing the downstream server to authenticate the later caller as the earlier user. Applications that create a new executor for every request are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.36 of the GraphQL Tools legacy WebSocket executor package.

  • Oct 14, 2026util-linux is a random collection of Linux utilities.CVE-2026-53615 · Other software · util-linux · reported by GitHubHigh 8

util-linux is a random collection of Linux utilities. Before util-linux 2.41.4, `parse_dos_extended()` in `libblkid/src/partitions/dos.c` computes an extended-partition start sector with 32-bit addition and does not apply the extended-area bounds checks to the first two EBR entries. A local attacker who causes a crafted DOS extended-partition disk image or removable medium to be probed can wrap `cur_start + start` to sector zero and cause libblkid to report a false partition overlapping the MBR. This directly compromises the integrity of the reported partition metadata; disk modification or availability loss requires a separate downstream consumer to act on that metadata. This issue is fixed in 2.41.4.

  • Oct 14, 2026util-linux is a random collection of Linux utilities.CVE-2026-53614 · Other software · util-linux · reported by GitHubHigh 7

util-linux is a random collection of Linux utilities. In util-linux 2.39.1 through 2.41.4 and 2.42 through 2.42.1, the SUID `mount` utility reads the attacker-controlled `LIBMOUNT_FORCE_MOUNT2` environment variable with `getenv()`, allowing a local low-privileged user to force the non-atomic legacy bind-mount path. With an `/etc/fstab` bind mount authorized by `user` or `users` and protected by `nosuid`, `noexec`, or `nodev`, an attacker can race the window between the initial bind mount and the remount that applies those security flags and execute a SUID program from the temporarily unprotected mount, potentially gaining root privileges. This issue is fixed in 2.41.5 and 2.42.2.

  • Oct 14, 2026util-linux is a random collection of Linux utilities.CVE-2026-53613 · Other software · util-linux · reported by GitHubHigh 7

util-linux is a random collection of Linux utilities. In util-linux 2.17 through 2.41.6 and 2.42 through 2.42.3, and in 2.42.4 when the legacy `mount(2)` path is used without `/proc`, restricted non-root `mount` requests validate an `/etc/fstab` target before the mount operation re-resolves that pathname. A local low-privileged user authorized by an fstab `user` or `users` entry whose target has an attacker-writable ancestor can use `renameat2(RENAME_EXCHANGE)` to swap a path component and redirect an authorized mount to a root-owned location, such as mounting attacker-controlled content over `/etc/sudoers.d`, and thereby gain root privileges. Versions 2.41.5 and 2.42.2 pin targets for the new mount API, and 2.42.4 pins legacy targets through `/proc/self/fd`; the documented legacy fallback without `/proc` remains affected.

util-linux is a random collection of Linux utilities. In util-linux 2.39 through 2.41.4 and 2.42 through 2.42.1, the SUID `mount` utility's `hook_owner.c` post-mount hook performs path-based `chmod()` and `lchown()` operations on a previously validated mount target. A local low-privileged user authorized by an `/etc/fstab` entry with `user` or `users` and an `X-mount.mode`, `X-mount.owner`, or `X-mount.group` option can use `renameat2(RENAME_EXCHANGE)` to race a writable ancestor of the target and redirect the privileged ownership or mode change to a root-owned path, potentially gaining root privileges. • Oct 12, 2026Privasys Remote Attestation TLS Clients provides multi-language utilities for verifying attested TLS connections.CVE-2026-108362 · Other software · Privasys · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

Privasys Remote Attestation TLS Clients provides multi-language utilities for verifying attested TLS connections. Prior to 0.11.0, TEE attestation evidence in Privasys attested TLS is accepted without requiring an explicitly authorized platform identity. When a network attacker can forge evidence or extract attestation secrets from a compromised unrevoked platform, the verifier accepts valid measurements from a different unrevoked TEE platform as though they came from the intended Attester. The attacker can impersonate the attested TLS endpoint. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.0.

  • Oct 12, 2026Privasys Remote Attestation TLS Clients provides multi-language utilities for verifying attested TLS connections.CVE-2026-108361 · Other software · Privasys · reported by GitHubHigh 7.2

Privasys Remote Attestation TLS Clients provides multi-language utilities for verifying attested TLS connections. Before 0.9.1, an attacker with local access could modify workload code, data, and configuration at any time after successful connection establishment. Once Evidence was successfully appraised and the connection was established, there was a window of vulnerability from the establishment of the connection to the termination of the connection where an attacker could modify the state of the workload and platform at runtime on the TLS endpoint acting as the Attester. This vulnerability was possible because Privasys/ra-tls-clients performed attestation only once in the lifetime of the connection (at connection establishment time), and the verifying peer continued to believe that the state was the same as in the initial Evidence throughout, whereas it could be stale at some point in time. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.9.1.

Prior to 0.5.0, the Rust and Go RA-TLS challenge verifiers accepted quote ReportData that was bound to the certificate public key and client nonce but not to the active TLS session before permitting application traffic. The `github.com/moby/sys/user` package provides Go utilities for parsing and looking up entries in Unix-style user and group database files. Versions before 0.4.1 do not sufficiently limit entries when parsing `/etc/passwd`- or `/etc/group`-style files, allowing an attacker who can supply a specially crafted file to cause excessive memory consumption and potentially terminate the affected process due to an out-of-memory condition. This issue is patched in version 0.4.1. As a workaround, avoid parsing attacker-controlled user or group database files, or validate and limit untrusted input before parsing it.

GraphQL Tools provides utilities for building, stitching, and mocking GraphQL schemas. Prior to 12.0.1, the GraphQL Tools utils package's mergeDeep function follows inherited properties while recursively merging source objects and does not exclude __proto__, constructor, or prototype keys. An unauthenticated GraphQL client can alias fields to those names so responses from two subgraphs collide during ordinary supergraph result merging, causing mergeDeep to traverse Object and Function prototypes and overwrite Function.prototype.call with a subgraph-supplied value. This breaks subsequent requests in the process until restart. This issue is fixed in version 12.0.1.

Allocation of resources without limits in password-based private-key decryption (PbeUtilities.GenerateCipherParameters) in Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. bc-csharp before 2.7.0 allows an attacker who can supply an encrypted private key, such as a PKCS#8 EncryptedPrivateKeyInfo or "ENCRYPTED PRIVATE KEY" PEM file, to cause a denial of service through CPU exhaustion via an iteration count close to 2^31, because the count is taken from the unauthenticated algorithm parameters without an upper bound and the key derivation runs before the password or the data can be checked. PKCS#5 PBES1 and PBES2 (PBKDF2), the PKCS#12 PBE algorithms and CMS password recipients (CmsPbeKey) are affected. Inefficient algorithmic complexity in X.509 distinguished name string conversion (X509Name.ToString and IetfUtilities.ValueToString) in Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. bc-csharp before 2.7.0 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service through CPU exhaustion via a certificate, CRL, certification request or other structure whose name contains a long attribute value made up of characters that must be escaped, such as commas, or of leading or trailing spaces, because each escaping backslash was inserted into the buffer being scanned, so the work grew quadratically with the length of the value. Applications using the executor directly, or url-loader with SubscriptionProtocol.LEGACY_WS, can therefore accept an attacker-controlled certificate when a network-positioned attacker intercepts the connection. Authentication material in connectionParams or headers can be disclosed, and subscription data can be modified. Browser WebSocket clients are unaffected because browsers enforce certificate validation. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.35.

AzuraCast (Composer package azuracast/azuracast) before 0.23.8 validates a station's "Remote Relay" URL only for URL syntax and an http/https scheme (Utilities\Urls::parseUserUrl, used by StationRemote::getUrlAsUri) and performs no host or IP address restriction. A user holding only the station-scoped RemoteRelays permission can therefore set a Remote Relay URL pointing at loopback, private-network, or cloud-metadata addresses (e.g. http://127.0.0.1:<port>/ or http://169.254.169.254/latest/meta-data/), and AzuraCast's periodic background Now Playing sync (AbstractRemote::getNowPlayingAsync) will automatically and repeatedly issue HTTP requests to that address, resulting in server-side request forgery against internal resources. This affects the main branch as of commit bcf8754eef3a268ad82c3db4d81f7920c3c28b56 (2026-07-31); no patched version is available at the time of the advisory.

  • Sep 14, 2026gettext-converter provides gettext resource conversion utilities for JavaScript.CVE-2026-55451 · Other software · locize · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3

gettext-converter provides gettext resource conversion utilities for JavaScript. Prior to 1.3.3, js2i18next() in lib/js2i18next.js splits nested translation keys using options.keyseparator, whose default value consists of two number signs, and uses each segment as a dynamic object key without rejecting __proto__, constructor, or prototype. When an application converts untrusted PO or i18next translation data, a __proto__ segment resolves Object.prototype as the nested write target and Object.assign writes attacker-controlled translated properties onto the process-wide prototype. The resulting prototype pollution can cause denial of service and may enable application-dependent follow-on attacks. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.3.

matrix-sdk-ui provides GUI-centric utilities on top of matrix-rust-sdk. The message edit validation logic in the `matrix-sdk-ui` crate prior to 0.17.0 is missing a check: when replacing an encrypted event, the replacement event itself is not required to be encrypted. This enables a malicious homeserver administrators (or actors with equivalent power) to impersonate or spoof messages as if they were sent by a victim user. `matrix-sdk-ui` 0.17.0 fixes the message edit validation logic to align with the algorithm for replacement events[^1] described in the Matrix specification. Remote Utilities Host <=7.7.3.0 sets insecure ACLs on all DLL files in the installation directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Remote Utilities - Host\), granting FULL CONTROL (F) to the built-in Everyone group (BUILTIN\Everyone, S-1-1-0). A Windows service running as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM loads DLLs from this directory. The DLLs are file-locked at runtime, but a race window exists when the service is stopped (e.g. during a software update or following a crash), during which a local unprivileged attacker can replace a DLL with a malicious payload. Upon service restart, the payload executes as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM. The DLL confirmed as actively loaded during testing is libasset32.dll. Additional DLLs in the same directory (eventmsg.dll, libcodec32.dll, vp8encoder.dll, vp8decoder.dll, webmvorbisdecoder.dll, webmvorbisencoder.dll, webmmux.dll) share identical insecure permissions.

  • Jul 28, 2026Pivotick contains a DOM-based cross-site scripting vulnerability in its generic UI element resolution and icon-rendering utilities.CVE-2026-67174 · Other software · pivotick · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Critical 9.2

Pivotick contains a DOM-based cross-site scripting vulnerability in its generic UI element resolution and icon-rendering utilities. The tryResolveHTMLElement function treated any resolved string as HTML markup by assigning it to a <template> element through innerHTML. Strings derived from untrusted graph properties or custom rendering callbacks could therefore introduce arbitrary HTML or SVG elements into the live document. The vulnerable function was used by multiple UI components, including headers, property panels, extra panels, and tooltips. Additionally, createIcon inserted caller-supplied svgIcon markup into a template without sanitization. An application integrating Pivotick and deriving icon markup from untrusted data could therefore expose a second script-execution path. An unauthenticated attacker able to provide a crafted graph, property value, rendering result, or SVG icon could execute JavaScript in another user's browser when the affected content is displayed or interacted with. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to access information available to the victim, manipulate graph data or application state, and perform actions with the victim's privileges.

A flaw was found in the GNU Binutils (Binary Utilities) linker. This vulnerability, a heap-buffer-overflow read (CWE-125), occurs when the linker processes a specially crafted 32-bit XCOFF (Extended Common Object File Format) object file. An attacker could exploit this by providing a malicious file, leading to an out-of-bounds read of memory. This can result in information disclosure, potentially revealing sensitive heap data, and a Denial of Service (DoS) due to the linker crashing.
