Sep 16, 2026Concrete CMS below 9.5.4 did not validate the user timezone value (uTimezone) on write and rendered it without output encoding on the Dashboard user management CVE-2026-85385 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deHigh 7.7
Concrete CMS below 9.5.4 did not validate the user timezone value (uTimezone) on write and rendered it without output encoding on the Dashboard user management page, where Date::getTimezoneDisplayName() returns any non-IANA value unchanged. A stored cross-site scripting payload saved in this field executed in an administrator's browser when they viewed the affected user in the Dashboard, running script in the admin session (for example to read CSRF tokens, create administrator accounts, or change site settings). In Concrete CMS 9.5.3 the field became reachable by unauthenticated visitors through public registration; in Concrete CMS below 9.5.3, the same field was reachable by any authenticated user through the account profile editor. Exploitation required concrete.misc.user_timezones to be enabled (off by default), and the unauthenticated path additionally required public registration to be enabled. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 7.7 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:P/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks Suraj Bhosale for reporting.

Sep 4, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-53760 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubMedium 5.2
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. In versions 5.0.11 and prior, the modules/plugins.php endpoint handles plugin installation, uninstallation, and update operations via GET requests without CSRF token validation. Because these are top-level navigations, browsers include SameSite=Lax session cookies. An attacker crafts a malicious page that, when an authenticated administrator visits it, triggers arbitrary plugin operations. The uninstall operation executes DROP TABLE SQL scripts and destroys plugin data. This issue has been patched via commit 056b1bd.

Stored Cross-site Scripting (CWE-79) in the user management component in maalfer Pentestify before 1.1.1 allows an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the browser of another authenticated user via a crafted username, because the frontend escapes the username with escapeHTML() before interpolating it into the onclick attribute of the account deletion button, but the browser HTML-decodes attribute values before the JavaScript engine parses the handler, allowing an encoded single quote (') to break out of the string literal and inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes when the victim clicks the delete button for that account.

Aug 12, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-47234 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubMedium 4.4
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. Prior to version 5.0.10, when debug logging is enabled, `Session::setCookie()` logs full cookie values and `Session::start()` logs the current session ID. In a real Admidio deployment this includes both the active session cookie and the persistent auto-login cookie. Anyone with access to the log sink can recover live bearer-style credentials from the logs. Version 5.0.10 contains a fix.

Aug 12, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-47233 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. Version 5.0.9 added a missing `isAdministratorInventory()` gate to `case 'item_delete':` in `modules/inventory.php`. The same fix was not applied to the sibling `case 'field_delete':` handler, which destroys an entire inventory field definition, cascading to every `adm_inventory_item_data` row that referenced that field and every `adm_inventory_field_options` entry. The handler validates only a session-bound CSRF token; there is no `isAdministratorInventory()` check at the controller level, and `Admidio\Inventory\Entity\ItemField::delete()` does not enforce one at the entity level either (unlike its sibling `ItemField::save()`, which does check `$gCurrentUser->isAdministrator()`). Any user who can log in to the site can permanently destroy a non-system inventory field by sending one POST. Version 5.0.10 provides an updated fix.

Aug 12, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-47232 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. Prior to version 5.0.10, the sensitive `mode=export` action in `modules/sso/keys.php` exports a PKCS#12 bundle containing the configured private key and certificate, but the CSRF validation line is commented out. A forged cross-site POST from an administrator session can therefore trigger private key export without a valid form token. Version 5.0.10 contains a fix.

Aug 12, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-47231 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. Prior to version 5.0.10, `modules/documents-files.php` gates state-changing modes by checking that the actor has `hasUploadRight()` on the URL parameter `folder_uuid`. The `move_save` handler then operates on a *separate* URL parameter `file_uuid` and calls `File::moveToFolder($destFolderUUID)`. `File::moveToFolder()` checks the upload right on the destination folder but never on the source folder containing the file. As a result, any user who can upload to any single folder can move any file from any other folder — including private folders to which they have no view rights — into a folder they control, and then download it. Confidentiality is broken (private file contents leak) and integrity is broken (the file is removed from the original location). Version 5.0.10 contains a fix.

Aug 12, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-47230 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. Prior to version 5.0.10, `modules/documents-files.php` mode `file_rename_save` shares the same root-cause shape as the cross-folder move bug (`05-documents-cross-folder-move-idor.md`): the top-level rights check at lines 79-89 validates `hasUploadRight()` on the URL parameter `folder_uuid`, but the rename operation acts on `file_uuid` — a separate URL parameter — without re-checking the folder that actually contains the file. `DocumentsService::renameFile()` resolves the target file via `getFileForDownload()` (which permits view-readable files) but does not require upload right on the file's source folder. Result: a user with upload right on any folder A can rename a file in folder B as long as they can view it. They can also overwrite the file's description. Version 5.0.10 contains a fix.

Aug 12, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-47229 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. Prior to version 5.0.10, `modules/sso/clients.php` validates an `adm_csrf_token` on every state-changing branch except `enable`. The `enable` case loads the SAML or OIDC client by UUID, calls `$client->enable($enabled)`, and persists the new state with no token check. Because the action is reachable via plain GET parameters, a third-party page can trick an authenticated administrator into disabling (or silently re-enabling) any configured SAML or OIDC client. Disabling an SSO client breaks every downstream relying-party application that authenticates through it. Version 5.0.10 contains a fix.

Aug 12, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-47228 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubMedium 5.2
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. `modules/registration.php` mode `send_login` regenerates a random password for `user_uuid_assigned`, stores its bcrypt hash in `adm_users.usr_password`, and emails the cleartext to that user. Every other state-changing mode in the same file (`assign_member`, `assign_user`, `delete_user`, `create_user`) calls `SecurityUtils::validateCsrfToken($_POST['adm_csrf_token'])` first; the `send_login` branch does not. Prior to version 5.0.10, page visited by a registration-administrator can issue the request as a top-level navigation, the browser sends the admin's `SameSite=Lax` cookies, and the server resets the chosen user's password without any further interaction from the admin. Version 5.0.10 fixes the issue.

Aug 12, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-47227 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. `modules/categories.php` checks that the supplied `type` parameter (`ANN`, `EVT`, `ROL`, `USF`, …) corresponds to a module the actor administers. The follow-up "is this specific category editable by me" check at lines 56-61 is dead code because it compares `$getType` (a category-type code) against mode names (`edit`/`save`/`delete`); the condition is permanently false, so `$category->isEditable()` is never invoked. Prior to version 5.0.10, the `delete`, `sequence`, and `save` switch cases load the category by the supplied UUID and act on it without re-checking that the category belongs to a module the actor administers. A user holding only one module-administrator right can therefore destroy or reorder empty categories belonging to *other* modules — for example, an announcements administrator can delete role categories, profile-field categories, or weblink categories that they have no right to touch. Version 5.0.10 fixes the issue.

Aug 12, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-47226 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. Prior to version 5.0.10, an authenticated Admidio member with upload rights on any one folder can permanently delete files from folders where they have only view access. The authorization check at the top of `modules/documents-files.php` evaluates upload rights against the attacker-supplied `folder_uuid` URL parameter — not the file's actual parent folder. The `file_delete` handler then only verifies view rights on the file's real location, never upload rights. By passing a folder they legitimately own in `folder_uuid` while targeting a file in a restricted folder via `file_uuid`, an attacker bypasses the upload-right check entirely and permanently deletes the file. This is an incomplete fix of GHSA-rmpj-3x5m-9m5f, which was patched in v5.0.7 but remains exploitable in v5.0.9. User should upgrade to v5.0.10 to receive an updated fix.

Anchore Enterprise versions from 5.11.0 to 5.27.1 and 6.0.0 contain an improper privilege escalation vulnerability in the user management API. Jul 8, 2026User Management: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-12097 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3
The User Management plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.2. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify the plugin's export field configuration stored in the uiewp_export_field option, controlling which user fields such as password hashes are included in CSV exports and how columns are mapped during imports.

May 7, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-42194 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. Prior to version 5.0.9, the incomplete SSRF fix in Admidio's fetch_metadata.php validates the resolved IP address but passes the original hostname-based URL to curl_init(), leaving a DNS rebinding TOCTOU window that allows redirecting requests to internal IPs. May 7, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-41671 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. Prior to version 5.0.9, the OIDC token introspection endpoint (/modules/sso/index.php/oidc/introspect) always returns {"active": true} for every request, regardless of whether a valid token is provided, whether the token is expired, revoked, or completely fabricated. The endpoint performs no authentication of the calling resource server and no validation of the submitted token. Any resource server that relies on this introspection endpoint to validate access tokens will accept all requests as authorized, enabling complete authentication bypass. Additionally, the OIDC token revocation endpoint (/oidc/revoke) returns {"revoked": true} without actually revoking any token, preventing resource servers from invalidating compromised credentials. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.9.

May 7, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-41670 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. Prior to version 5.0.9, the SAML IdP implementation in Admidio's SSO module uses the AssertionConsumerServiceURL value directly from incoming SAML AuthnRequest messages as the destination for the SAML response, without validating it against the registered ACS URL (smc_acs_url) stored in the database for the corresponding service provider client. An attacker who knows the Entity ID of a registered SP client can craft a SAML AuthnRequest with an arbitrary AssertionConsumerServiceURL, causing the IdP to send the signed SAML response -- containing user identity attributes (login name, email, roles, profile fields) -- to an attacker-controlled URL. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.9.

May 7, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-41669 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. Prior to version 5.0.9, the Admidio SAML Identity Provider implementation discards the return value of its validateSignature() method at both call sites (handleSSORequest() line 418 and handleSLORequest() line 613). The method returns error strings on failure rather than throwing exceptions, but the developer believed it would throw (per comments on lines 416 and 611). This means the smc_require_auth_signed configuration option is completely ineffective — unsigned or invalidly-signed SAML AuthnRequests and LogoutRequests are processed identically to properly signed ones. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.9.

Prior to version 5.0.9, the member assignment DataTables endpoint (members_assignment_data.php) includes hidden profile fields (BIRTHDAY, STREET, CITY, POSTCODE, COUNTRY) in its SQL search condition regardless of field visibility settings. While the JSON output correctly suppresses hidden columns via isVisible() checks, the server-side search operates at the SQL level before any visibility filtering. This allows a role leader with assign-only permissions to infer hidden PII values by observing which users appear in search results for specific values. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.9.

May 7, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-41658 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. Prior to version 5.0.9, the Admidio inventory module enforces authorization for destructive operations (delete, retire, reinstate) only in the UI layer by conditionally rendering buttons. The backend POST handlers at modules/inventory.php for item_delete, item_retire, item_reinstate, item_picture_upload, item_picture_save, and item_picture_delete perform CSRF validation but never check whether the requesting user is an inventory administrator. Any authenticated user who can access the inventory module can permanently delete any inventory item and all its associated data. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.9.

May 7, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-41657 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubMedium 4.9
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. Prior to version 5.0.9, the contacts_data.php endpoint uses a weaker permission check (isAdministratorUsers(), requiring only rol_edit_user=true) than the frontend UI (contacts.php) which correctly requires the stronger isAdministrator() (requiring rol_administrator=true) and the contacts_show_all system setting. A user manager who is not a full administrator can directly request contacts_data.php?mem_show_filter=3 to retrieve all user records across all organizations in the Admidio instance, bypassing multi-tenant organization isolation. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.9.

May 7, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-41656 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubMedium 4.5
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. Prior to version 5.0.9, the add mode in modules/documents-files.php accepts a name parameter validated only as 'string' type (HTML encoding), allowing path traversal characters (../) to pass through unfiltered. Combined with the absence of CSRF protection on this endpoint and SameSite=Lax session cookies, a low-privileged attacker can trick a documents administrator into clicking a crafted link that registers an arbitrary server file (e.g., install/config.php containing database credentials) into a documents folder accessible to the attacker. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.9.

Admidio is an open-source user management solution. Prior to version 5.0.9, the ecard_preview.php endpoint does not validate that the ecard_template POST parameter is a safe filename before passing it to ECard::getEcardTemplate(). An authenticated user can supply a path traversal payload (e.g., ../config.php) to read arbitrary files accessible to the web server process, including adm_my_files/config.php which contains database credentials. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.9.

Mar 31, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-34384 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubMedium 4.5
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. Prior to version 5.0.8, the create_user, assign_member, and assign_user action modes in modules/registration.php approve pending user registrations via GET request without validating a CSRF token. Unlike the delete_user mode in the same file (which correctly validates the token), these three approval actions read their parameters from $_GET and perform irreversible state changes without any protection. An attacker who has submitted a pending registration can extract their own user UUID from the registration confirmation email URL, then trick any user with the rol_approve_users right into visiting a crafted URL that automatically approves the registration. This bypasses the manual registration approval workflow entirely. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.8.

Mar 31, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-34383 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. Prior to version 5.0.8, the inventory module's item_save endpoint accepts a user-controllable POST parameter imported that, when set to true, completely bypasses both CSRF token validation and server-side form validation. An authenticated user can craft a direct POST request to save arbitrary inventory item data without CSRF protection and without the field value checks that the FormPresenter validation normally enforces. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.8.

Mar 31, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-34382 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubMedium 4.6
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. From version 5.0.0 to before version 5.0.8, the delete mode handler in mylist_function.php permanently deletes list configurations without validating a CSRF token. An attacker who can lure an authenticated user to a malicious page can silently destroy that user's list configurations — including organization-wide shared lists when the victim holds administrator rights. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.8.

Mar 31, 2026Admidio is an open-source user management solution.CVE-2026-34381 · Other software · Admidio · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Admidio is an open-source user management solution. From version 5.0.0 to before version 5.0.8, Admidio relies on adm_my_files/.htaccess to deny direct HTTP access to uploaded documents. The Docker image ships with AllowOverride None in the Apache configuration, which causes Apache to silently ignore all .htaccess files. As a result, any file uploaded to the documents module regardless of the role-based permissions configured in the UI, is directly accessible over HTTP without authentication by anyone who knows the file path. The file path is disclosed in the upload response JSON. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.8.

Mar 26, 2026Ory Kratos is an identity, user management and authentication system for cloud services.CVE-2026-33503 · Other software · ory · reported by GitHubHigh 7.2
Ory Kratos is an identity, user management and authentication system for cloud services. Prior to version 26.2.0, the ListCourierMessages Admin API in Ory Kratos is vulnerable to SQL injection due to flaws in its pagination implementation. Pagination tokens are encrypted using the secret configured in `secrets.pagination`. An attacker who knows this secret can craft their own tokens, including malicious tokens that lead to SQL injection. If this configuration value is not set, Kratos falls back to a default pagination encryption secret. Because this default value is publicly known, attackers can generate valid and malicious pagination tokens manually for installations where this secret is not set. As a first line of defense, immediately configure a custom value for `secrets.pagination` by generating a cryptographically secure random secret. Next, upgrade Kratos** to a fixed version, 26.2.0 or later, as soon as possible.
