Oct 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: mxc: fix race between chained IRQ handler install and probe completion mxc_update_irCVE-2026-99189 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: mxc: fix race between chained IRQ handler install and probe completion mxc_update_irq_chained_handler() is called before the IRQ domain, the generic IRQ chip, and the port list entry are set up. If an interrupt arrives in that window: - mx3_gpio_irq_handler() calls generic_handle_domain_irq() with port->domain still NULL. - mx2_gpio_irq_handler() walks mxc_gpio_ports, but the port has not been added to the list yet. Additionally, if any of the subsequent probe steps (gpio_generic_chip_init(), devm_gpiochip_add_data(), irq_domain_create_legacy(), or mxc_gpio_init_gc()) fail, the error paths never unregister the chained handler, leaving a dangling handler that points at freed memory. Move the handler installation after all its dependencies are ready and after list_add_tail(), so the handler is never live while the data structures it touches are incomplete, and is never installed if probe fails.

Oct 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: st: Fix use-after-free race between st_remove() and st_open() st_remove() drops the CVE-2026-99156 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: st: Fix use-after-free race between st_remove() and st_open() st_remove() drops the probe reference on the scsi_tape with kref_put() and only afterwards removes its index from st_index_idr. If that was the last reference, scsi_tape_release() frees the structure while it is still published in the idr. scsi_tape_get(), called from st_open(), looks up the tape in st_index_idr and takes a reference under st_ref_mutex and st_index_lock. remove_cdevs() does not wait for opens that are already past chrdev_open(), so an open that is blocked on st_ref_mutex while st_remove() holds it can take the mutex as soon as st_remove() drops it, find the freed tpnt in the idr and call kref_get() on it: BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in st_open Write of size 4 ... st_open (drivers/scsi/st.c:254 drivers/scsi/st.c:1291) chrdev_open ... Freed by task ...: kfree st_remove (drivers/scsi/st.c:4512) Remove the index from the idr before dropping the reference, all under st_ref_mutex. A concurrent scsi_tape_get() now either runs first and holds a valid reference that keeps the tape alive, or runs afterwards and f

Oct 22, 2026Unrestricted network access between execution contexts in KNIME Business Hub before version 1.19.0 allows an authenticated remote user to access open network poCVE-2026-115517 · Other software · KNIME · reported by security@knime.comMedium 6.4
Unrestricted network access between execution contexts in KNIME Business Hub before version 1.19.0 allows an authenticated remote user to access open network ports on executors in different execution contexts. This only poses a security issue if the IP address of the attacked executor is know and there are open network ports that provided access without further authentication. By default no network ports are open. However, depending on the running workflows, ports may be opened and provide an attack surface. As a workaround, network policies can be created manually.

Oct 19, 2026Rank Math SEO PRO for WordPress is affected by a supply-chain compromise in a subset of version 3.0.123 packages downloaded or updated between October 15, 2026 CVE-2026-111862 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8
Rank Math SEO PRO for WordPress is affected by a supply-chain compromise in a subset of version 3.0.123 packages downloaded or updated between October 15, 2026 at 20:02 UTC and October 16, 2026 at 07:12 UTC. Rank Math states that the affected plugin files contained malware that could compromise a website if the plugin was activated and directs sites that activated an affected package to treat the website as compromised. The malware may establish persistent access, communicate with rank1cdn[.]com, recreate hidden backdoors on page visits, and expose WordPress credentials, database credentials, API keys, and other secrets accessible to the web server. Rank Math identifies three malicious wp_options keys, hidden PHP backdoors, unauthorized administrator accounts, a fake WordPress core file, PHP-executable .cache files, and a system cron marker as incident indicators. Only packages obtained during the vendor-confirmed window are claimed as affected; version 3.0.123 alone is not sufficient to establish compromise. Rank Math removed the affected files and released version 3.0.124 as the clean replacement.
- What to do
- Update the plugin to the newest version.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tipc: prevent GCM nonce reuse on peer key changes TIPC can encrypt traffic between nodes uCVE-2026-98805 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tipc: prevent GCM nonce reuse on peer key changes TIPC can encrypt traffic between nodes using a different transmit key for each node. In this mode, the AES-GCM nonce for a packet sent to a known peer consists of a 32-bit prefix (a per-key salt XOR the peer's address) followed by a 64-bit counter. That counter is stored in the peer's RX crypto object. When the peer reports a change in which key it uses to receive packets, TIPC resets this counter. The sender can still be using the same TX key and salt, so subsequent packets reuse earlier nonces. This nonce reuse breaks confidentiality and exposes GCM's authentication key. This makes forgeries trivial: an attacker can exploit CTR malleability to alter captured ciphertexts and use the recovered authentication key to compute a valid tag for the modified ciphertext, under the same key and nonce. Use the TX key's existing aead->seqno counter instead. All encryptions using that key object share the same atomic counter, so concurrent encryptions get distinct nonce counter values. The counter survives key activation and peer reconnection, and peer key-status reports can

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf: Fix race between perf_event_exit_task() and perf_pending_task() A race condition exiCVE-2026-98790 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf: Fix race between perf_event_exit_task() and perf_pending_task() A race condition exists between perf_event_exit_task() and perf_pending_task() during begin_new_exec(). During begin_new_exec(), perf_event_exit_task() may be called, and the PF_EXITING flag is not set on task. So perf_sigtrap() continues to execute and triggers WARN_ON_ONCE(event->ctx->task != current). Since both task exit and exec paths can call perf_event_exit_task() which sets ctx->task to TASK_TOMBSTONE, fix this by explicitly checking if event->ctx->task equals TASK_TOMBSTONE and dropping the redundant PF_EXITING check.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: libwx: fix races in Tx timestamp handling wx->ptp_tx_skb is shared between the Tx path, the PTP auxiliary worker and the timestamp cleanup paths. The WX_STATE_PTP_TX_IN_PROGRESS bit prevents multiple Tx paths from submitting timestamp requests, but does not serialize the worker against cleanup. As a result, wx_ptp_clear_tx_timestamp() can free an skb after wx_ptp_tx_hwtstamp_work() has obtained its pointer. The worker may then pass the freed skb to skb_tstamp_tx() and release the same reference again. The cleanup path may also clear the in-progress bit while the worker is still processing the old skb. This allows the Tx path to publish a new skb which the worker can subsequently overwrite with NULL, leaking its reference. Add a dedicated spinlock to protect publication and consumption of the Tx timestamp skb. Detach the skb and clear the in-progress bit while holding the lock, then deliver the timestamp and release the skb after dropping it. Use the same locked cleanup in the quiesce path, but keep the detach there free of register accesses: quiesce runs during PCIe error recovery, where MMIO is not relia

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: bcd2000: Fix race between rawmidi and disconnect Although we tried to fix the potential UAF issues at USB disconnect on bcd2000 driver, there is still an overlooked case -- namely, when a rawmidi trigger callback has been already running at USB disconnect handling, the in-flight function (e.g. bcd2000_midi_send()) could still access the URB, because the previous URB NULL-check & clearance was considered only for the URB complete callbacks, but not about the parallel rawmidi operations. For addressing the race, this patch introduced a new spinlock that covers each rawmidi operation as well as the rawmidi handling in the complete callback. The URB is cleared with the lock, so it guarantees that the pending rawmidi task already finished or a NULL check is effective.

Sep 21, 2026When a regular user adds a reference between objects or attributes, MISP checks whether the user can access the overall event, but it does not always check whetCVE-2026-94394 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 6.3
When a regular user adds a reference between objects or attributes, MISP checks whether the user can access the overall event, but it does not always check whether the individual pieces of data are also allowed for that user. Because of this, someone who can view an event could potentially access attributes or objects inside that event that were meant to be restricted to a specific sharing group or distribution level. The vulnerability affects authenticated users who are not site administrators and who already have access to an event containing more restricted data. The main impact is that users may be able to view sensitive attribute values, object details, or related object data that they should not normally be allowed to see.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: blk-cgroup: fix race between policy activation and blkg destruction When switching an IO scheduler on a block device, blkcg_activate_policy() allocates blkg_policy_data (pd) for all blkgs attached to the queue. However, blkcg_activate_policy() may race with concurrent blkcg deletion, leading to use-after-free and memory leak issues. The use-after-free occurs in the following race: T1 (blkcg_activate_policy): - Successfully allocates pd for blkg1 (loop0->queue, blkcgA) - Fails to allocate pd for blkg2 (loop0->queue, blkcgB) - Enters the enomem rollback path to release blkg1 resources T2 (blkcg deletion): - blkcgA is deleted concurrently - blkg1 is freed via blkg_free_workfn() - blkg1->pd is freed T1 (continued): - Rollback path accesses blkg1->pd->online after pd is freed - Triggers use-after-free In addition, blkg_free_workfn() frees pd before removing the blkg from q->blkg_list. This allows blkcg_activate_policy() to allocate a new pd for a blkg that is being destroyed, leaving the newly allocated pd unreachable when the blkg is finally freed. Fix these races by extending blkcg_mutex covera

Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvmet: fix max_qid race between configfs and controller allocation The function nvmet_subsCVE-2026-90206 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvmet: fix max_qid race between configfs and controller allocation The function nvmet_subsys_attr_qid_max_store() can race against nvmet_alloc_ctrl() when a subsystem's max_qid limit is modified. Suppose max_qid is currently 64. If nvmet_alloc_ctrl() executes: ctrl->sqs = kzalloc_objs(struct nvmet_sq *, subsys->max_qid + 1); and at this exact point, a userspace process changes max_qid to 128, nvmet_subsys_attr_qid_max_store() will set the new max_qid value. It attempts to delete active controllers to force a reconnect, but the new controller won't be deleted because it hasn't been added to the subsys->ctrls list yet. nvmet_alloc_ctrl() then proceeds and adds the new controller to the subsys->ctrls list. Later, when nvmet_install_queue() is called, it will see max_qid set to 128, but the memory allocated for sqs is only sized for 64 entries. This results in a KASAN out-of-bounds warning and potential memory corruptions. Fix this by protecting the queue allocations and list insertion in nvmet_alloc_ctrl() with down_read(&nvmet_config_sem). Because nvmet_subsys_attr_qid_max_store() acquires down_write(&nvmet_conf

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb-storage: ene_ub6250: fix race between scan work and probe ene_ub6250_probe() calls usb_stor_probe2(), which starts the usb-storage infrastructure and schedules the delayed scan work. The driver then calls ene_get_card_type(), which sends an ENE command through ene_send_scsi_cmd() and the usb-storage bulk transfer helpers. Both the delayed scan work, through usb_stor_Bulk_max_lun(), and ene_get_card_type() use us->current_urb. The scan work serializes this access with us->dev_mutex, but the ENE card-type probe does not. If the scan work runs while ene_get_card_type() is still using us->current_urb, usb_submit_urb() warns that the URB is already active. Serialize ene_get_card_type() with us->dev_mutex, matching the locking used by the scan path.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: pcm: Fix race between non-atomic ops and trigger-start We protect the races of the concurrent state transitions between atomic PCM ops, but the checks between the non-atomic ops (hw_params, hw_free and prepare) and the atomic ops aren't perfect; there is a check of the conflicting PCM state at the beginning of hw_params & co, but the atomic PCM ops can be still issued during the non-atomic PCM operations. An example such scenario is that a thread A re-issues the PREPARE or HW_PARAMS for the already prepared stream, while another thread B triggers the PCM start in the middle of the prepare operation. Although this usually doesn't lead to much serious issues, it can give some inconsistency as reported by syzkaller (such as ODEBUG warning). There are various atomic PCM ops, and basically the only problem is the PCM start as it operates from the PREPARED state. Other trigger commands (stop, etc) are for the running or the other special state, hence they are filtered as pre-condition. This patch is for preventing the PCM trigger-start during the non- atomic operations in order to address the problems above.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm: fix race between partial drm_dev_register() failure and ioctl If drm_dev_register() fails after registering a minor (e.g. render minor registered, primary minor fails), userspace could have opened the first minor and entered a drm_dev_enter() critical section. Since the unplugged flag was never set, the ioctl proceeds while the error path tears down device resources. Fix this by introducing drm_dev_synchronize_unplug(), which sets the unplugged flag and waits for the SRCU barrier, ensuring all in-flight drm_dev_enter() critical sections complete before cleanup proceeds; call it on the error path of drm_dev_register().

Sep 14, 2026LangChain MongoDB provides integrations between MongoDB, Atlas, LangChain, and LangGraph.CVE-2026-55253 · Other software · langchain-ai · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7
LangChain MongoDB provides integrations between MongoDB, Atlas, LangChain, and LangGraph. Prior to langgraph-checkpoint-mongodb 0.3.0 and langgraph-store-mongodb 0.4.0, MongoDBSaver.list(), MongoDBSaver.alist(), and MongoDBStore.search() incorporate filter dictionaries into MongoDB queries without recursively rejecting keys prefixed with $. An authenticated caller who controls a filter argument through HTTP query parameters, request body fields, or agent tool arguments can inject MongoDB Query Language operators such as $regex or $where. In a multi-tenant deployment that uses the filter to enforce per-user or per-tenant isolation, injected operators can bypass intended equality filtering and expose other tenants' checkpoint or store data. Filters constructed entirely from trusted server-side values have lower practical risk. This issue is fixed in langgraph-checkpoint-mongodb 0.3.0 and langgraph-store-mongodb 0.4.0.

Sep 11, 2026A routing rule selects between two different authentication mechanisms for the same downstream service based on the value of a client-supplied request header, rCVE-2026-90447 · Other software · CISA · reported by ics-cert@hq.dhs.govHigh 7.1
A routing rule selects between two different authentication mechanisms for the same downstream service based on the value of a client-supplied request header, rather than on any property the client cannot control. An authenticated user in possession of a shared service credential can set this header to route around the primary role-based authorization check and reach the alternate path's fixed, elevated role instead. This allows a low-privileged authenticated attacker who knows the shared credential to perform actions reserved for a higher-privileged role.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rust: devres: fix race between concurrent revokers There is a potential race condition when two paths try to revoke a Devres concurrently. The driver core's devres_release_all() calls Revocable::revoke() via the release callback, while Devres::drop() calls revoke_nosync() on another CPU. The revoker that does not claim the is_available swap returns immediately, but the revoker that did may still be executing drop_in_place() on the inner data. This can cause a use-after-free when the other revoker's caller proceeds to drop adjacent resources that drop_in_place() still references (e.g., Devres<DmaMappedSgt> racing with SGTable freeing the backing sg_table and pages). Fix this by adding a Completion. The release callback signals the Completion after revoke() finishes, and Devres::drop() waits for it when it loses the is_available swap. This ensures the wrapped object is fully torn down before Devres::drop() returns.

Aug 28, 2026Traffic interception vulnerability in BOSH Director vCenter CPI allows attackers positioned between BOSH Director and vCenter to impersonate vCenter REST API anCVE-2026-41012 · Other software · Cloud Foundry · reported by security@vmware.comHigh 7.7
Traffic interception vulnerability in BOSH Director vCenter CPI allows attackers positioned between BOSH Director and vCenter to impersonate vCenter REST API and capture administrator credentials via HTTP Basic auth, leading to complete virtualization infrastructure takeover. An attacker who can intercept traffic between the BOSH Director and vCenter can establish a malicious server impersonating the vCenter REST API. When the BOSH Director makes CPI calls to perform routine cloud infrastructure operations, the attacker captures the vCenter administrator username and password transmitted via HTTP Basic authentication. The vulnerability stems from insufficient authentication security in the communication protocol between BOSH Director and vCenter. While HTTPS may be used, the lack of proper certificate validation and pinning allows attackers to successfully impersonate vCenter endpoints. Because vCenter credentials typically grant full administrative control over the entire virtualization estate, successful credential capture yields complete takeover of every VM, datastore, and network the CPI manages. This exposure exists on every CPI call (including routine deployment ope
