Oct 28, 2026Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript.CVE-2026-118662 · Other software · vitejs · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript. From 6.4.4 until 6.4.5, the Vite development server can evaluate server.fs.deny before stripping loader query parameters such as ?raw, ?import&raw, or ?import&url&inline. When the development server is exposed to the network and a sensitive file is inside server.fs.allow but matched by server.fs.deny, an unauthenticated attacker can append one of these queries and retrieve the denied file. This issue is fixed in version 6.4.5.

Oct 23, 2026pghoard is a PostgreSQL backup daemon and restore tooling that stores backup data in cloud object stores.CVE-2026-63120 · Other software · Aiven-Open · reported by GitHubHigh 8.4
pghoard is a PostgreSQL backup daemon and restore tooling that stores backup data in cloud object stores. Prior to version 2.7.2, an incomplete path traversal fix in pghoard allows an attacker with write access to the backup object storage (such as S3, GCS, or Azure) to execute arbitrary file writes and directory creation outside the designated PostgreSQL data directory (pgdata). When a database administrator executes a restore operation (via pghoard_restore get-basebackup), a maliciously crafted delta backup manifest with path traversal sequences (e.g., ../../../../etc/cron.d/backdoor) will write arbitrary payloads to the host system. This issue has been patched in version 2.7.2.

Oct 20, 2026Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript.CVE-2026-112947 · Other software · vitejs · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3
Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript. From 8.2.0 until 8.2.4 and 8.3.3, the first 4 bytes of files outside of server.fs setting can be returned to the browser by a request containing ?vite-wasm-instance. Requests containing the ?vite-wasm-instance query are handled by the internal Wasm plugin's load hook. The hook removes the query and reads the resulting path directly from disk, but the server.fs checks were not applied. After reading the file, Vite attempts to parse it as WebAssembly. When that parse fails, Node and deno throws an error that contains the first 4 bytes of the file. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.2.4 and 8.3.3.

Oct 20, 2026Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript.CVE-2026-112946 · Other software · vitejs · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3
Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript. Prior to 6.4.4, 7.3.7, 8.1.6, 8.2.4, and 8.3.3, import analysis can record a root-relative browser URL in safeModulePaths instead of the cleaned resolved module identifier. On a network-accessible, non-Windows development server, an imported project file whose URL matches an absolute host path can authorize a later raw-filesystem request for that host file, provided server.fs.deny does not block it. The request can disclose the matching file outside the project root, but it does not allow arbitrary path traversal because the host path must correspond to a project-relative URL authorized by the application graph. This issue is fixed in versions 6.4.4, 7.3.7, 8.1.6, 8.2.4, and 8.3.3.

Oct 20, 2026Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript.CVE-2026-112945 · Other software · vitejs · reported by GitHubLow 2.1
Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript. Prior to 6.4.4, 7.3.7, 8.1.6, 8.2.4, and 8.3.3, applications using custom middleware are vulnerable when they pass an unchanged browser request URL to server.transformIndexHtml. getHtmlFilename uses the query-bearing request URL to resolve an existing local file while preserving attacker-supplied leading slashes in the generated proxy module URL. If the transformed HTML contains an inline module script and a victim browser loads the crafted development-server page, the leading double slash makes the browser fetch and execute an attacker-controlled module in the Vite-served page. This execution can expose sensitive page data or permit critical actions available to the affected application. This issue is fixed in versions 6.4.4, 7.3.7, 8.1.6, 8.2.4, and 8.3.3.

Aug 26, 2026Compliance-trestle (Trestle) is a tooling platform for managing compliance as code.CVE-2026-52776 · Other software · oscal-compass · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6
Compliance-trestle (Trestle) is a tooling platform for managing compliance as code. In versions before 3.12.4 and versions 4.0.0 through 4.0.3, the URLSecurityValidator that guards trestle's remote-fetch paths against server-side request forgery can be bypassed to reach loopback, link-local, cloud-metadata, and internal network endpoints it was designed to block. The blocklist does not canonicalize IPv4-mapped IPv6 literals such as [::ffff:169.254.169.254], which resolve to IPv6Address objects that never match the blocked IPv4 ranges, and it does not block the unspecified address 0.0.0.0, which routes to local services on Linux and inside containers. An attacker who can supply or influence an OSCAL artifact that trestle fetches, such as a malicious profile whose imports reference one of these bypass URLs, can cause the HTTPSFetcher and SFTPFetcher paths to contact cloud instance-metadata services, loopback interfaces, or internal hosts. This issue is fixed in versions 3.12.4 and 4.1.0.

compliance-trestle is a tooling platform for managing compliance as code. Prior to versions 3.12.2 and 4.0.3, the `-o/--output` argument in `trestle author jinja` allows writing files outside the intended workspace. The application does not properly validate, `../`, `..\`, or absolute paths. This allows arbitrary file write to attacker-controlled locations. Versions 3.12.3 and 4.0.3 patch the issue.

Aug 14, 2026compliance-trestle is a tooling platform for managing compliance as code.CVE-2026-46439 · Other software · oscal-compass · reported by GitHubHigh 7.8
compliance-trestle is a tooling platform for managing compliance as code. Versions prior to 3.12.2 and 4.0.3 have a Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) vulnerability exists in the `trestle author jinja` command. The command recursively evaluates rendered templates, allowing an attacker to achieve arbitrary command execution with privileges of the running process by injecting malicious payloads into data fields (such as SSP documents or Lookup Tables). The vulnerability does not require attacker control of the template itself. Only attacker-controlled input data rendered into a trusted template is required. This distinction is critical: the template author may only intend to render plain text (e.g., `Title: {{ ssp.metadata.title }}`), but because of the recursive parsing, the data field itself becomes executable. The vulnerability is caused by recursive re-compilation and re-rendering of already-rendered output. Versions 3.12.3 and 4.0.3 patch the issue.

compliance-trestle is a tooling platform for managing compliance as code. Prior to versions 3.12.2 and 4.0.3, the HTTPSFetcher._do_fetch() method passes a user-supplied URL directly to requests.get() without validation. Aug 13, 2026compliance-trestle is a tooling platform for managing compliance as code.CVE-2026-45774 · Other software · oscal-compass · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
compliance-trestle is a tooling platform for managing compliance as code. Prior to versions 3.12.2 and 4.0.3, the compliance-trestle library's profile import mechanism resolves `trestle://` URIs and relative file paths by joining them with `trestle_root` and calling `.resolve()`, but performs no boundary check to ensure the resolved path stays within the trestle workspace. An attacker can craft a malicious OSCAL profile YAML with `imports[].href` containing path traversal sequences to read arbitrary files from the server filesystem. compliance-trestle is a tooling platform for managing compliance as code. Prior to versiions 3.12.2 and 4.0.3, the compliance-trestle library's remote fetching cache mechanism (HTTPSFetcher and SFTPFetcher) constructs the local cache file path from the URL path component without sanitizing path traversal sequences (`../`). When a remote OSCAL profile references a URL with traversal in its path, the HTTP response body is written to a location outside the intended cache directory, enabling arbitrary file write with attacker-controlled content to the filesystem. Jun 22, 2026Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript.CVE-2026-53571 · Other software · vitejs · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript. Prior to 8.0.16, 7.3.5, and 6.4.3, the contents of files that are specified by server.fs.deny can be returned to the browser on Windows. Vite’s dev server denies direct access to sensitive files through server.fs.deny, including entries such as .env, .env.*, and *.{crt,pem}. However, on Windows, the deny logic does not correctly normalize NTFS ADS path forms before access checks are applied. Because of this, requests such as /.env::$DATA?raw are treated as allowed paths, while Windows resolves them to the original file's default data stream. Similar to that, Windows allows accessing a file using a different name with the 8.3 short name compatibility feature. Vite did not reject accessing files via them. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.0.16, 7.3.5, and 6.4.3.

Apr 16, 2026openCryptoki is a PKCS#11 library and provides tooling for Linux and AIX.CVE-2026-40253 · Other software · opencryptoki · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8
openCryptoki is a PKCS#11 library and provides tooling for Linux and AIX. In versions 3.26.0 and below, the BER/DER decoding functions in the shared common library (asn1.c) accept a raw pointer but no buffer length parameter, and trust attacker-controlled BER length fields without validating them against actual buffer boundaries. All primitive decoders are affected: ber_decode_INTEGER, ber_decode_SEQUENCE, ber_decode_OCTET_STRING, ber_decode_BIT_STRING, and ber_decode_CHOICE. Additionally, ber_decode_INTEGER can produce integer underflows when the encoded length is zero. An attacker supplying a malformed BER-encoded cryptographic object through PKCS#11 operations such as C_CreateObject or C_UnwrapKey, token loading from disk, or remote backend communication can trigger out-of-bounds reads. This affects all token backends (Soft, ICA, CCA, TPM, EP11, ICSF) since the vulnerable code is in the shared common library. A patch is available thorugh commit ed378f463ef73364c89feb0fc923f4dc867332a3.

Jan 21, 2026openCryptoki is a PKCS#11 library and provides tooling for Linux and AIX.CVE-2026-23893 · Other software · opencryptoki · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8
openCryptoki is a PKCS#11 library and provides tooling for Linux and AIX. Versions 2.3.2 and above are vulnerable to symlink-following when running in privileged contexts. A token-group user can redirect file operations to arbitrary filesystem targets by planting symlinks in group-writable token directories, resulting in privilege escalation or data exposure. Token and lock directories are 0770 (group-writable for token users), so any token-group member can plant files and symlinks inside them. When run as root, the base code handling token directory file access, as well as several openCryptoki tools used for administrative purposes, may reset ownership or permissions on existing files inside the token directories. An attacker with token-group membership can exploit the system when an administrator runs a PKCS#11 application or administrative tool that performs chown on files inside the token directory during normal maintenance. This issue is fixed in commit 5e6e4b4, but has not been included in a released version at the time of publication.

Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript. Prior to versions 7.1.5, 7.0.7, 6.3.6, and 5.4.20, any HTML files on the machine were served regardless of the `server.fs` settings. Only apps that explicitly expose the Vite dev server to the network (using --host or server.host config option) and use `appType: 'spa'` (default) or `appType: 'mpa'` are affected. This vulnerability also affects the preview server. The preview server allowed HTML files not under the output directory to be served. Versions 7.1.5, 7.0.7, 6.3.6, and 5.4.20 fix the issue.

May 7, 2025Besu Native contains scripts and tooling that is used to build and package the native libraries used by the Ethereum client Hyperledger Besu.CVE-2025-30147 · Other software · hyperledger · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
Besu Native contains scripts and tooling that is used to build and package the native libraries used by the Ethereum client Hyperledger Besu. Besu 24.7.1 through 25.2.2, corresponding to besu-native versions 0.9.0 through 1.2.1, have a potential consensus bug for the precompiles ALTBN128_ADD (0x06), ALTBN128_MUL (0x07), and ALTBN128_PAIRING (0x08). These precompiles were reimplemented in besu-native using gnark-crypto's bn254 implementation, as the former implementation used a library which was no longer maintained and not sufficiently performant. The new gnark implementation was initially added in version 0.9.0 of besu-native but was not utilized by Besu until version 0.9.2 in Besu 24.7.1. The issue is that there are EC points which may be crafted which are in the correct subgroup but are not on the curve and the besu-native gnark implementation was relying on subgroup checks to perform point-on-curve checks as well. The version of gnark-crypto used at the time did not do this check when performing subgroup checks. The result is that it was possible for Besu to give an incorrect result and fall out of consensus when executing one of these precompiles against a specially crafted in

May 1, 2025Vite is a frontend tooling framework for javascript.CVE-2025-46565 · Other software · vitejs · reported by GitHubMedium 6
Vite is a frontend tooling framework for javascript. Prior to versions 6.3.4, 6.2.7, 6.1.6, 5.4.19, and 4.5.14, the contents of files in the project root that are denied by a file matching pattern can be returned to the browser. Only apps explicitly exposing the Vite dev server to the network (using --host or server.host config option) are affected. Only files that are under project root and are denied by a file matching pattern can be bypassed. `server.fs.deny` can contain patterns matching against files (by default it includes .env, .env.*, *.{crt, pem} as such patterns). These patterns were able to bypass for files under `root` by using a combination of slash and dot (/.). This issue has been patched in versions 6.3.4, 6.2.7, 6.1.6, 5.4.19, and 4.5.14.

Apr 10, 2025Vite is a frontend tooling framework for javascript.CVE-2025-32395 · Other software · vitejs · reported by GitHubMedium 6
Vite is a frontend tooling framework for javascript. Prior to 6.2.6, 6.1.5, 6.0.15, 5.4.18, and 4.5.13, the contents of arbitrary files can be returned to the browser if the dev server is running on Node or Bun. HTTP 1.1 spec (RFC 9112) does not allow # in request-target. Although an attacker can send such a request. For those requests with an invalid request-line (it includes request-target), the spec recommends to reject them with 400 or 301. The same can be said for HTTP 2. On Node and Bun, those requests are not rejected internally and is passed to the user land. For those requests, the value of http.IncomingMessage.url contains #. Vite assumed req.url won't contain # when checking server.fs.deny, allowing those kinds of requests to bypass the check. Only apps explicitly exposing the Vite dev server to the network (using --host or server.host config option) and running the Vite dev server on runtimes that are not Deno (e.g. Node, Bun) are affected. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.2.6, 6.1.5, 6.0.15, 5.4.18, and 4.5.13.

Apr 3, 2025Vite is a frontend tooling framework for javascript.CVE-2025-31486 · Other software · vitejs · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Vite is a frontend tooling framework for javascript. The contents of arbitrary files can be returned to the browser. By adding ?.svg with ?.wasm?init or with sec-fetch-dest: script header, the server.fs.deny restriction was able to bypass. This bypass is only possible if the file is smaller than build.assetsInlineLimit (default: 4kB) and when using Vite 6.0+. Only apps explicitly exposing the Vite dev server to the network (using --host or server.host config option) are affected. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.5.12, 5.4.17, 6.0.14, 6.1.4, and 6.2.5.

Mar 24, 2025Vite, a provider of frontend development tooling, has a vulnerability in versions prior to 6.2.3, 6.1.2, 6.0.12, 5.4.15, and 4.5.10.CVE-2025-30208 · Other software · vitejs · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Vite, a provider of frontend development tooling, has a vulnerability in versions prior to 6.2.3, 6.1.2, 6.0.12, 5.4.15, and 4.5.10. `@fs` denies access to files outside of Vite serving allow list. Adding `?raw??` or `?import&raw??` to the URL bypasses this limitation and returns the file content if it exists. This bypass exists because trailing separators such as `?` are removed in several places, but are not accounted for in query string regexes. The contents of arbitrary files can be returned to the browser. Only apps explicitly exposing the Vite dev server to the network (using `--host` or `server.host` config option) are affected. Versions 6.2.3, 6.1.2, 6.0.12, 5.4.15, and 4.5.10 fix the issue.

CodeChecker is an analyzer tooling, defect database and viewer extension for the Clang Static Analyzer and Clang Tidy. Cross-site request forgery allows an unauthenticated attacker to hijack the authentication of a logged in user, and use the web API with the same permissions, including but not limited to adding, removing or editing products. The attacker needs to know the ID of the available products to modify or delete them. The attacker cannot directly exfiltrate data (view) from CodeChecker, due to being limited to form-based CSRF. This issue affects CodeChecker: through 6.24.4.
