Sep 12, 2026Temporary Login Without Password: Does not prevent a temporary user from creating an Application PasswordCVE-2026-77753 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 5.5
The Temporary Login Without Password WordPress plugin before 1.9.9 does not prevent a temporary user from creating an Application Password, and does not revoke one when the temporary access expires or is disabled, allowing the recipient of a temporary login to retain working access to the site over REST and XML-RPC after the administrator believes it has been withdrawn. The retained access carries whatever role was granted, which for the Temporary Login Without Password WordPress plugin before 1.9.9's main use case is Administrator.

The Temporary Login Without Password WordPress plugin before 1.9.9 does not verify that the user requesting a temporary login holds network super admin rights before granting the new account those rights, allowing an administrator of a single site on a multisite network to take over the whole network. Aug 6, 2026Events Manager: Does not perform any authorization check on a REST route that serves temporarily stored file uploadsCVE-2026-18050 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanHigh 7.5
The Events Manager WordPress plugin before 7.4 does not perform any authorization check on a REST route that serves temporarily stored file uploads, allowing unauthenticated users to retrieve another user's in-progress upload when its temporary identifier is known. The identifier is high-entropy, is disclosed only to the uploader, and the file is removed on submission or by a scheduled cleanup, so a cross-user read is not achievable by guessing alone.

May 1, 2026Temporary Login: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-7567 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8
The Temporary Login plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in versions up to and including 1.0.0. This is due to improper input validation in the maybe_login_temporary_user() function, which fails to verify that the 'temp-login-token' GET parameter is a scalar string before processing it. When the parameter is supplied as an array, PHP's empty() check is bypassed and sanitize_key() returns an empty string, which is then passed as the meta_value to get_users(). WordPress ignores an empty meta_value and returns all users matching the meta_key '_temporary_login_token', allowing authentication without a valid token. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to authenticate as any active temporary login user by sending a single crafted GET request.
