  • Oct 27, 2026The Tables app's share-listing endpoint (GET /apps/tables/share/table/{tableId}) did not verify that the requesting user has manage-level permission on the tablCVE-2026-82983 · Other software · Nextcloud · reported by support@hackerone.comLow 3.3

The Tables app's share-listing endpoint (GET /apps/tables/share/table/{tableId}) did not verify that the requesting user has manage-level permission on the table before returning the full list of share recipients (users, groups, and teams) along with their permission levels. A user who was only granted read-data access to a table, and who is correctly prevented from seeing this information in the web UI, could call the endpoint directly to enumerate everyone the table is shared with and their access levels. This does not expose the table's data itself beyond what the read-data grant already permits, only the list of share recipients and their permission levels.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Build the cid tables privately and publish them with RCU The cid tables are visible to the cid kfuncs while being modified: the first enable publishes the global pointers before filling them, ops.init_cids() overrides rewrite them in place, and re-enables rebuild them in place. A racing TRACING or SYSCALL program can read unfilled entries, including uninitialized memory in the kmalloc'd tables, or torn topo updates. Tie the tables' lifetimes to the root sched instead: each root enable builds a fresh set privately and publishes the per-table __rcu globals once the layout is final, and root disable unpublishes and RCU-frees the set. A non-NULL global is now always a fully built table which stays valid for the reader's RCU read section, and lookups stay two loads. Kfuncs treat NULL as no-mapping, also after the scheduler exits instead of reporting the stale last mapping. The cid kfuncs are available whether the root scheduler is cid-form or cpu-form, the latter to allow gradual migration to cids. Every root therefore builds and publishes a default mapping. Every reader must either be gated on scheduler

  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: skip expired catchall elements on insert and delete nft_setelem_catcCVE-2026-98484 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: skip expired catchall elements on insert and delete nft_setelem_catchall_insert() looks up duplicates with nft_set_elem_active() only, while nft_set_catchall_lookup() and the dump path additionally skip expired elements. Once a catchall element with a timeout expires, this predicate drift makes it invisible to userspace dumps, yet it still blocks re-insertion: with NLM_F_EXCL the request fails with -EEXIST, and without it the request reports success but silently inserts nothing. The stale entry only goes away when the (user-tunable) gc interval elapses, so the catchall rule may silently stop matching for an arbitrarily long time after its first expiration. The delete path shows the same drift: nft_setelem_catchall_deactivate() picks the first active-next entry in the catchall list, so with an expired entry still pending GC it retires the stale entry instead of the fresh one, and it deactivates an element that userspace no longer sees instead of failing with -ENOENT. Align both walks with the lookup and dump predicates: only an element that is active and not expired counts as a duplicate o

Uncontrolled eviction in the pending sign-in tables of the REST API in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.3.4 and 6.3.5 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to make other users' OpenID Connect, SAML and passkey sign-ins fail. The routes that start a single sign-on and hand out a passkey sign-in challenge are reached without authentication and stored pending state in bounded tables that dropped their oldest entry when full, whoever had started it. An attacker who starts sign-ins a few times a second (about a hundred a second for passkeys) pushes every other user's pending sign-in out of the table before that user's browser returns, denying single sign-on and passkey sign-in for as long as the requests continue.

  • Oct 7, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/hugetlb: preserve mremap address delta when skipping page tables move_hugetlb_page_tablCVE-2026-98373 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/hugetlb: preserve mremap address delta when skipping page tables move_hugetlb_page_tables() optimizes mremap() by advancing to the last entry in the page table when the source page table does not exist, either initially or after unsharing a PMD table. The common loop increment then steps to the first entry in the next page table. However, the code advances both the source and destination addresses to the last entries in their respective page tables, which is wrong. The destination address must be advanced only by the same amount as the source address. If the source and destination offsets within their page tables differ, the destination address can be advanced too far, causing follow-up issues. Fix this by advancing the destination address by the source advance distance. With a reproducer, we were able to trigger a kernel panic on x86-64. With this fix in place, we can no longer reproduce the issue.

  • Oct 3, 2026In Bouncy Castle for Java before 1.86, HQC leaked secret-derived data through two side channels: its GF(2^8) arithmetic used lookup tables indexed by field elemCVE-2026-18040 · Other software · Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. · reported by 91579145-5d7b-4cc5-b925-a0262ff19630Medium 5.9

In Bouncy Castle for Java before 1.86, HQC leaked secret-derived data through two side channels: its GF(2^8) arithmetic used lookup tables indexed by field elements, making the cache line touched a function of the operand, and its fixed-weight support sampler left its duplicate scan as soon as a collision was found and stored accepted positions at a secret index. Both run on secret inputs during encapsulation and decapsulation, and the sampler re-expands the secret key from its seed on every decapsulation, so an attacker able to observe cache behaviour or decapsulation timing can recover information about the HQC private key. The field arithmetic is now table-free and the sampler branch-free within a batch of candidates, with output and randomness consumption unchanged.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/mm/pat: Allocate split page tables as kernel page tables A PTE is allocated directly without going through the standard page table allocation routines (such as pte_alloc_one_kernel()) when the CPA code splits a large page (__split_large_page()). This means the page table constructor is never called nor is the page table marked as a kernel page table. The former results in the folio associated with the page table not being marked as a page table (__pagetable_ctor() is never called thus neither is __folio_set_pgtable()) nor are statistics updated to reflect it (lruvec_stat_add_folio() is never called). The latter issue of failing to mark the page table as a kernel page table (ptdesc_set_kernel() is never called) is far more problematic. Since commit: 5ba2f0a15564 ("mm: introduce deferred freeing for kernel page tables") kernel page table freeing has been batched and since the subsequent commit: e37d5a2d60a3 ("iommu/sva: invalidate stale IOTLB entries for kernel address space") IOTLB cache entries for kernel page tables have been invalidated upon being freed. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: mm: Fix the lockless page-table walk in show_pte() show_pte() walks page tables locklessly and can run with interrupts enabled. A concurrent teardown can free a table page while it is being walked. It can also clear a parent entry after show_pte() checked it; the regular pXd_offset() helpers then reread the cleared entry and can derive a bogus lower-level pointer and fault again. Use the lockless offset helpers with the saved parent entries, as gup_fast() does, and pass the saved PMD to pte_offset_map(). For task page tables, arm64 selects MMU_GATHER_RCU_TABLE_FREE. Disable local interrupts around the walk to hold off RCU-deferred table frees and block the tlb_remove_table_sync_one() IPI until the walk is finished. Place the IRQ guard after the header print. This does not make the output a consistent snapshot, but prevents the task page-table walk from dereferencing a released table page or deriving a pointer from a different parent value.

  • Sep 18, 2026pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID.CVE-2026-61822 · Other software · pgpartman · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID. Prior to 5.5.0, run_maintenance() handles exceptions outside the loop that processes rows from part_config, so an exception for one partition set immediately terminates the loop and skips every later set. A role with partman_user access can insert or update a row that reliably fails and assign it a low maintenance_order value so it is processed before legitimate rows. Repeated maintenance ticks then abort before legitimate partition sets are maintained, causing database-wide loss of automated partition maintenance. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.0.

pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID. Prior to 5.5.0, drop_partition_id() and drop_partition_time() use part_config.retention_schema as the target for ALTER TABLE SET SCHEMA and accept any nonempty schema name. A role with partman_user access can select a target schema where the role lacks the normal CREATE privilege, and the background worker performs the relocation with pg_partman_bgw.role privileges, which default to PostgreSQL superuser, bypassing the authorization check that a normal ALTER TABLE SET SCHEMA operation would enforce. This permits unauthorized relocation of retained child tables between schemas. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.0.

  • Sep 18, 2026pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID.CVE-2026-61820 · Other software · pgpartman · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5

pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID. Prior to 5.5.0, inherit_template_properties() manually surrounds primary-key column names from pg_attribute.attname with double quotes without escaping embedded double-quote characters. A partman_user who owns a template table can create a crafted column name that breaks out of the generated ALTER TABLE ADD PRIMARY KEY identifier when the background worker applies the key to a child partition. The generated SQL then executes with pg_partman_bgw.role privileges, which default to PostgreSQL superuser, permitting database-wide compromise and operating-system command execution as the PostgreSQL service account. The crafted catalog identifier persists until removed and can trigger again during later partition creation. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.0.

  • Sep 18, 2026pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID.CVE-2026-61819 · Other software · pgpartman · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5

pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID. Prior to 5.5.0, when pg_jobmon is installed and part_config.jobmon is true, exception handlers in multiple pg_partman functions place p_parent_table verbatim inside a SQL string literal used to call pg_jobmon.add_job(). A partman_user can create a parent-table name containing a single quote that terminates the literal and injects SQL when an affected exception path runs. If pg_partman_bgw reaches that path, the injected SQL executes with pg_partman_bgw.role privileges, which default to PostgreSQL superuser, permitting database-wide compromise and operating-system command execution as the PostgreSQL service account. The persistent part_config row can trigger the escalation again on later maintenance ticks. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.0.

pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID. Prior to 5.5.0, undo_partition() reads part_config.time_encoder as unrestricted text and interpolates it without identifier quoting into a dynamically executed SELECT statement. A role with partman_user access can store SQL rather than a function name, and the SQL executes with the privileges of the caller that invokes undo_partition(). The function is not part of the default background-worker path, which limits the automatic superuser escalation described by the related create-partition vulnerability, but a privileged caller can still have its available confidentiality, integrity, and availability permissions abused. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.0.

pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID. Prior to 5.5.0, run_maintenance(), show_partitions(), show_partition_info(), undo_partition(), and partition_data_time() interpolate the writable part_config.time_dncoder text value without identifier quoting into dynamic SQL. A role with the documented partman_user privileges can store SQL rather than a decoder function name. When an affected operation later uses the poisoned value, including pg_partman_bgw maintenance for a text- or UUID-keyed set, the SQL executes with the operation's privileges, which can be the default PostgreSQL superuser background-worker role. The persistent row can restore elevated access on later ticks, and successful exploitation can permit database-wide compromise and operating-system command execution as the PostgreSQL service account. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.0.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: skip double clone set expressions on element insert Both the dynset and newsetelem path clone the existing set expressions when setting set element expressions if no override expressions are provided. This results in a double clone, once to clone the template set expressions then another clone on the new element. Add a flag to annotate if userspace provides a override expression (ie. expression of the same type of the set but different configuration), otherwise borrow the existing expression from the set. Add conditionals to release expression iif they represent an override. Use this new override_exprs flag to dump the dynset expression override to userspace. This simplifies the existing logic and it also fixes a bug with the connlimit expression which results in a module refcount imbalance WARNING splat when resorting on the default set expressions.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: arm64: vgic-v3: take an LPI reference in vgic_v3_save_pending_tables vgic_v3_save_pending_tables() iterates dist->lpi_xa using xa_for_each() and dereferences the returned struct vgic_irq in the loop body without holding a reference on the LPI. The xarray iterator only provides temporary RCU coverage while looking up the current entry. That is not sufficient for this loop body, which reads fields from struct vgic_irq and performs guest memory accesses before the iteration completes. A concurrent path can trigger this race: the irqfd cached injection path (vgic_its_inject_cached_translation) obtains a transient LPI reference via vgic_its_check_cache() without holding kvm->lock, vcpu->mutex, config_lock, or its_lock. If guest ITS DISCARD then drops the cache and ITE references under its_lock, the transient inject reference may become the final one. When vgic_put_irq() drops it, the LPI is erased from lpi_xa and freed via kfree_rcu(). Meanwhile, vgic_v3_save_pending_tables() may still hold a stale pointer obtained from the xarray iterator and dereference it after the RCU grace period completes. Fix this by re

The trace was captured on 7.2.0-rc6-kasan72rc6 (075b74841bd0), where the same lines apply. nft_obj_notify() is exported and reached from the packet path. Its only in-tree caller is nft_quota_obj_eval() (net/netfilter/nft_quota.c:68), which notifies with GFP_ATOMIC while evaluating a rule for a transiting packet, holding no mutex. Since commit 67cc570edaa0 ("netfilter: nf_tables: coalesce multiple notifications into one skbuff") that notification is no longer sent immediately. __nft_obj_notify() queues it onto nft_net->notify_list via nft_notify_enqueue() (net/netfilter/nf_tables_api.c:1211), which is a bare list_add_tail(). notify_list has no lock of its own (include/net/netfilter/nf_tables.h:1951), it is serialised by commit_mutex: the six other enqueue sites all run inside a netlink transaction, and the drain in nft_commit_notify() (net/netfilter/nf_tables_api.c:10746) does list_del() + kfree_skb() from nf_tables_commit() with commit_mutex held. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: bridge: release template ct on non-IP path A bridge nftables ct zone set rule can attach a conntrack template to an skb before nf_ct_bridge_pre() sees it. For non-IPv4 and non-IPv6 EtherTypes, nf_ct_bridge_pre() currently overwrites skb->_nfct with IP_CT_UNTRACKED without releasing the existing template reference. That makes the per-cpu template, and any temporary templates allocated for concurrent use, unreachable and leaks memory until the host runs out of slab. Reset the skb conntrack state before marking the frame untracked so the existing template reference is dropped on the non-IP path.
