When a team was configured as "visible to everyone", the web UI correctly blocked non-members from viewing the team ("You are not a member of ..."), but the resources API endpoint could still be called directly, allowing any authenticated non-member to enumerate the team's internal resources and their identifiers. This does not grant access to the contents of the discovered resources themselves, only their existence, names, and identifiers.

Oct 27, 2026The Tables app's share-listing endpoint (GET /apps/tables/share/table/{tableId}) did not verify that the requesting user has manage-level permission on the tablCVE-2026-82983 · Other software · Nextcloud · reported by support@hackerone.comLow 3.3
The Tables app's share-listing endpoint (GET /apps/tables/share/table/{tableId}) did not verify that the requesting user has manage-level permission on the table before returning the full list of share recipients (users, groups, and teams) along with their permission levels. A user who was only granted read-data access to a table, and who is correctly prevented from seeing this information in the web UI, could call the endpoint directly to enumerate everyone the table is shared with and their access levels. This does not expose the table's data itself beyond what the read-data grant already permits, only the list of share recipients and their permission levels.

Abusing the federated share endpoint, an attacker can write arbitrary rows into the oc_share_external database table. These rows persist indefinitely — there is no automatic cleanup mechanism. Three distinct denial-of-service conditions follow from this write primitive, all triggered from the same unauthenticated source and all self-renewing on a 24-hour cycle for as long as the injected rows remain in the database.

Oct 27, 2026The 3D Viewer for Nextcloud is a comprehensive 3D model viewer application for Nextcloud that supports multiple 3D file formats.CVE-2026-104189 · Other software · maz1987in · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
The 3D Viewer for Nextcloud is a comprehensive 3D model viewer application for Nextcloud that supports multiple 3D file formats. In versions 1.7.9 through 3.3.1, the app's public file endpoint performed no share authorization. Anyone who knows a share token could read the shared file's contents even when the link share was protected by a password. `PublicFileController` extended `OCP\AppFramework\Controller` and marked its routes `#[PublicPage]`. Nextcloud only enforces share passwords through `PublicShareMiddleware`, which returns early for any controller that is not an `OCP\AppFramework\PublicShareController` instance — so no password, expiry, or share-type check ran for these routes. `ShareFileService::loadLinkShare()` compounded this by treating any token that `getShareByToken()` matched as authorised. A share token is the part of the URL that people paste into chats, emails, and tickets. Password protection exists precisely for the case where holding the token should not by itself grant access, and that guarantee did not hold. Requests to `GET /ocs/v2.php/apps/threedviewer/public/file/{token}/{fileId}` returned `200` with the full file body for password-protected shares, with

In Eclipse Vert.x versions [4.0.0, 4.5.34] or [5.0.0,5.0.12] or [5.1.0,5.1.9] or [5.2.0, 5.2.0], the Eclipse Vert.x MQTT (vertx-mqtt) MqttClient stores every inbound QoS 2 PUBLISH message received from the broker in an internal map (qos2inbound) while awaiting the corresponding PUBREL packet to complete the QoS 2 handshake. This map has no size limit; the maxInflightQueue option is enforced only on the outbound publish path and does not constrain inbound message retention. A malicious or compromised MQTT broker can exploit this by sending QoS 2 PUBLISH messages with distinct packet identifiers and withholding the PUBREL responses. Each incomplete handshake causes the client to retain the full publish message (topic, payload, and metadata) indefinitely, leading to unbounded memory growth in the Vert.x process. This can degrade the MQTT-consuming application or cause out-of-memory termination. The impacted component is io.vertx:vertx-mqtt.

Sep 17, 2026The Photos app's filter-based "smart albums" build their file listing using the search configuration (photosSourceFolders) of the user viewing the album, ratherCVE-2026-82985 · Other software · Nextcloud · reported by support@hackerone.comMedium 6.5
The Photos app's filter-based "smart albums" build their file listing using the search configuration (photosSourceFolders) of the user viewing the album, rather than the album owner's configuration. When an album owner shares a smart album with another user, that user's own folder configuration is used to determine which of the owner's files are searched — allowing them to discover files (name, file ID, and other metadata) in folders the album owner never intended to include in the shared album. This requires the album owner to have shared a filter-based smart album with the attacker; it does not allow access to arbitrary users' files without such a share.

The Approval app's approve/reject endpoint is meant to require the file's current etag as a freshness check, preventing an approver from approving or rejecting a file whose contents changed after they reviewed it. Any authenticated user can lock or unlock files they do not own by targeting absolute WebDAV paths of other users. The DAV plugin resolves files from the absolute request URI without verifying that the path segment matches the authenticated session user. This enables: Cross-user manual locks : attacker locks a victim's files, blocking writes (PUT/MOVE/DELETE, editor saves). Lock-token disclosure: the app returns the lock token to unauthorized callers, enabling them to remove token-based locks (client locks) of other users.

Sep 17, 2026Circles' remote-instance signature verification fetches the attacker-supplied keyId URL before trust in the remote instance is established, and explicitly allowCVE-2026-77164 · Other software · Nextcloud · reported by support@hackerone.comMedium 6.2
Circles' remote-instance signature verification fetches the attacker-supplied keyId URL before trust in the remote instance is established, and explicitly allows local/private addresses for this request, bypassing Nextcloud's core SSRF protections. The public, unauthenticated endpoints POST /apps/circles/event/ and POST /apps/circles/incoming/ reach this code path, allowing any unauthenticated user to force the server to issue a GET request to an internal address. The response body of the internal request is never returned to the requester, so this is blind SSRF: an attacker can determine whether an internal service is reachable, but cannot read its response contents through this endpoint alone.

Aug 25, 2026Nextcloud MCP Server is a production-ready MCP server that connects AI assistants to a Nextcloud instance.CVE-2026-55640 · Other software · cbcoutinho · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1
Nextcloud MCP Server is a production-ready MCP server that connects AI assistants to a Nextcloud instance. Prior to 0.117.2, the POST /webhooks/nextcloud endpoint in nextcloud_mcp_server/vector/webhook_receiver.py has no authentication by default because WEBHOOK_SECRET defaults to None and startup validation does not require it. When WEBHOOK_SECRET is unset, handle_nextcloud_webhook() accepts unauthenticated requests. The payload["user"]["uid"] field parsed in nextcloud_mcp_server/vector/webhook_parser.py is attacker-controlled and is used without an authenticated-session cross-check for Qdrant operations, allowing a network attacker to delete or trigger re-indexing of vector embeddings for any user and to destroy the semantic search index by sending forged deletion events. This issue is fixed in version 0.117.2.

In practice, nothing your AI generated shows how it makes users vulnerable. It's open source. Someone can mod the shell allow list or remove that system. Present an actual poc that shows a threat to users."

Jun 1, 2026Nextcloud is an open source content collaboration platform.CVE-2026-45722 · Other software · nextcloud · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
Nextcloud is an open source content collaboration platform. From versions 0.9.0 to before 0.9.7, and 1.0.0 to before 1.0.2, a missing sanitization in the Tables app allowed a user with access to the tables app to perform a limited SQL injection in the ORDER BY statement of a query. Compared to normal SQL injections, the ORDER BY is limited to extracting a single bit of information per request or to make the database wait for a given time. This issue has been patched in versions 0.9.7 and 1.0.2.

Jun 1, 2026Nextcloud is an open source content collaboration platform.CVE-2026-45690 · Other software · nextcloud · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9
Nextcloud is an open source content collaboration platform. In Nextcloud Server from versions 32.0.0 to before 32.0.9, and 33.0.0 to before 33.0.3, an authentication bypass vulnerability allowed attackers with knowledge of a user's password to circumvent two-factor authentication (2FA) protections. When a user initiated login with valid credentials on a 2FA-enabled account, the system created a temporary session token before enforcing the second factor challenge. This token could be extracted and replayed via HTTP Basic Authentication to gain unauthorized access to authenticated endpoints. It is recommended that the Nextcloud Server is upgraded to 33.0.3 or 32.0.9. It is recommended that the Nextcloud Enterprise Server is upgraded to 33.0.3, 32.0.9, 31.0.14.5, 30.0.17.9 or 29.0.16.16

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
