Oct 13, 2026The Salty documentation repository builds and deploys the docs.saltbox.dev website.CVE-2026-55675 · Other software · saltyorg · reported by GitHubCritical 10
The Salty documentation repository builds and deploys the docs.saltbox.dev website. Prior to commit 649c9aea2daef1168eeb0415b44e65dbbde9f220, .github/workflows/trigger-pr-build.yml records an untrusted fork commit in the pr_info artifact, and the secret-bearing workflow_run job in .github/workflows/build-pr.yml checks out that commit before running pip install -r requirements.txt. A fork pull request can therefore supply attacker-authored setup.py or PEP 517 build hooks whose installation code executes in the privileged base-repository workflow with CF_API_TOKEN, GH_TOKEN, MKDOCS_GIT_COMMITTERS_APIKEY, and a write-capable GITHUB_TOKEN, allowing secret disclosure and follow-on compromise. The vulnerability is not caused by the repository-fork guard, and the demonstrated path requires attacker control of fork content rather than merely the artifact metadata. This vulnerability is fixed with commit 649c9aea2daef1168eeb0415b44e65dbbde9f220.

Oct 6, 2026NetBox versions 2.9.5 before 4.7.0 contain a server-side template injection vulnerability that allows a low-privileged user with the "Can add custom links" permCVE-2026-104073 · Other software · netbox-community · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9
NetBox versions 2.9.5 before 4.7.0 contain a server-side template injection vulnerability that allows a low-privileged user with the "Can add custom links" permission to steal session cookies and API tokens of other users by exposing the raw Django HttpRequest object to the Jinja2 template context. Attackers can craft a custom link template embedding request.COOKIES['sessionid'] or a user's API token into an img src URL, which bypasses the clean_html sanitizer and auto-exfiltrates the victim's credentials to an attacker-controlled host when a privileged user views the object, enabling full account takeover.

Oct 1, 2026NetBox Device Type Library is a collection of community-sourced device type definitions for import into NetBox.CVE-2026-55251 · Other software · netbox-community · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
NetBox Device Type Library is a collection of community-sourced device type definitions for import into NetBox. Prior to commit f41fc1e, the CI workflow .github/workflows/validation.yml runs on pull_request and executes code supplied by the pull request before any maintainer review. Three PR-editable files drive this: "requirements.txt", ".pre-commit-hooks-config.yaml" / ".pre-commit-yamlfmt-config.yaml", and ".gitmodules". A contributor with no special repository access could open a pull request that modifies these files and have their code run on the CI runner. This issue has been patched via commit f41fc1e.

Sep 17, 2026NetBox Device Type Library is a collection of community-sourced device type definitions for import into NetBox.CVE-2026-54918 · Other software · netbox-community · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
NetBox Device Type Library is a collection of community-sourced device type definitions for import into NetBox. In the affected repository revisions, NETBOX_DT_LIBRARY_URL in tests/test_configuration.py is a free-form tracked constant that an unauthenticated pull-request author can change before the validation test harness runs. During pytest collection, tests/definitions_test.py passes the value to Repo.clone_from and create_remote("upstream").fetch(), causing blind Git smart-HTTP requests to an attacker-selected host or loading attacker-controlled tests/known-*.json validation caches. The blind request cannot set arbitrary metadata-service headers or return response bodies, and this path does not execute remote Git hooks, but substituted known data can bypass slug, module, and rack uniqueness validation. This vulnerability is fixed in commit 8980c690097e92f5028c7e6df402b327d827ecd5.

Sep 17, 2026NetBox Device Type Library is a collection of community-sourced device type definitions for import into NetBox.CVE-2026-54916 · Other software · netbox-community · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
NetBox Device Type Library is a collection of community-sourced device type definitions for import into NetBox. The absence of tests/init.py and the lack of --import-mode=importlib cause pytest prepend import mode to place the tests directory at the front of sys.path during collection. An unauthenticated contributor can add a module such as tests/git.py that shadows GitPython when tests/definitions_test.py executes from git import Git, Repo, or add tests/conftest.py for automatic collection-time execution. Python imports and runs the pull-request module before any test function, allowing arbitrary code execution on the GitHub Actions runner, test-result tampering, and access to tokens or network resources exposed to the workflow. This module-shadowing path is independent of the earlier pickle deserialization flaw and the separately tracked NETBOX_DT_LIBRARY_URL issue. This vulnerability is fixed by commit b0d9a3dadd0a0a9d3c93b0b2777559fd4bad1037.

Sep 17, 2026NetBox Device Type Library is a collection of community-sourced device type definitions for import into NetBox.CVE-2026-54752 · Other software · netbox-community · reported by GitHubCritical 9.6
NetBox Device Type Library is a collection of community-sourced device type definitions for import into NetBox. The validation test harness can deserialize pull-request-controlled tracked pickle cache files through pickle.load in the read_pickle_data function in tests/pickle_operations.py. An unauthenticated contributor can change USE_LOCAL_KNOWN_SLUGS in tests/test_configuration.py and supply a crafted tests/known-modules.pickle or tests/known-racks.pickle file that tests/definitions_test.py loads when pytest runs. Deserialization invokes attacker-controlled object reduction behavior, allowing arbitrary code execution in the GitHub Actions runner or in a maintainer process that runs the tests, with the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of reachable resources at risk. This vulnerability is fixed with commit 1c6f7e2b93589b965318c6e67ac3504831f0e71e.

Sep 10, 2026Concrete CMS 9.5.2 and below is vulnerable to an authorization bypass (IDOR) because the frontend calendar lightbox endpoint (/ccm/calendar/view_event/{bID}/{ocCVE-2026-18121 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deMedium 6.3
Concrete CMS 9.5.2 and below is vulnerable to an authorization bypass (IDOR) because the frontend calendar lightbox endpoint (/ccm/calendar/view_event/{bID}/{occurrence_id}) does not verify that the caller is permitted to view the calendar that owns the requested event occurrence. The controller loads the occurrence directly from an attacker‑supplied, sequential identifier without confirming that it belongs to the calendar configured on the referenced block. An unauthenticated visitor who can render any public calendar block with lightbox properties enabled could therefore supply an arbitrary occurrence identifier and disclose event metadata — title, date, description, page link, and configured event attributes — from calendars they are not permitted to view. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 6.3 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks riodrwn for reporting.

Jul 24, 2026Firelight Lightbox: Stored DOM Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-6454 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Firelight Lightbox plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to and including 2.3.20. This is due to insufficient sanitization of the href attribute value within the FancyBox V2 PDF beforeLoad JavaScript callback generated in inc/fancybox-2.php, where this.href is string-concatenated directly into an HTML string without escaping, allowing a stored href containing entity-encoded double-quotes to break out of the data attribute and inject arbitrary event handlers into the DOM. Jul 11, 2026SimpLy Gallery Block & Lightbox: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-5743 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The SimpLy Gallery Block & Lightbox plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via block attributes in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.3.2. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the sliderMaxHeight block attribute in the pgc_sgb_render_callback() function. The vulnerability exists because the pgc_sgb_sanitize_custom_css() function uses a flawed regex pattern that only removes event handlers with quoted values (e.g., onfocus="alert()") but fails to catch unquoted event handlers (e.g., onfocus=alert(document.cookie)), allowing the malicious code to bypass sanitization. netbox-docker before 2.5.0 has a superuser account with default credentials (admin password for the admin account, and 0123456789abcdef0123456789abcdef01234567 value for SUPERUSER_API_TOKEN). In practice on the public Internet, almost all users changed the password but only about 90% changed the token. Having a default token value was intentional and was valuable for the main intended use case of the netbox-docker product (isolated development networks). Some users engaged in an effort to repurpose netbox-docker for production. The documentation for this effort stated that the defaults must not be used. However, installation did not ensure non-default values. The Supplier was aware of the CVE ID assignment and did not object to the assignment.

Feb 25, 2026Responsive Lightbox & Gallery: Server-Side Request ForgeryCVE-2026-2479 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5
The Responsive Lightbox & Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.1. This is due to the use of `strpos()` for substring-based hostname validation instead of strict host comparison in the `ajax_upload_image()` function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to make web requests to arbitrary locations originating from the web application, which can be used to query and modify information from internal services.

Feb 18, 2026MajorDoMo (aka Major Domestic Module) contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability through method parameter injection into the shoutbox.CVE-2026-27178 · Other software · sergejey · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3
MajorDoMo (aka Major Domestic Module) contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability through method parameter injection into the shoutbox. The /objects/?method= endpoint allows unauthenticated execution of stored methods with attacker-controlled parameters. Default methods such as ThisComputer.VolumeLevelChanged pass the user-supplied VALUE parameter directly into the say() function, which stores the message raw in the shouts database table without escaping. The shoutbox widget renders stored messages without sanitization in both PHP rendering code and HTML templates. Because the dashboard widget auto-refreshes every 3 seconds, the injected script executes automatically when any administrator loads the dashboard, enabling session hijack through cookie exfiltration.
