  • Oct 28, 2026Ember is a real-time terminal dashboard for Caddy servers with FrankenPHP support.CVE-2026-54162 · Other software · alexandre-daubois · reported by GitHubMedium 4.7

Ember is a real-time terminal dashboard for Caddy servers with FrankenPHP support. Prior to 1.4.2, interactive TUI row formatters pass Caddy access-log fields, particularly the request URI, through the `fitCellLeft` render helper without neutralizing terminal escape or control sequences. An unauthenticated remote client can place ANSI, OSC, or CSI control bytes in an ordinary HTTP request target. Caddy JSON-escapes those bytes, `ParseLogLine` decodes them back into raw controls, and the formatters concatenate them into `View()` output reaching `os.Stdout`. When the operator views the default `Logs` tab, the terminal interprets these sequences, allowing monitoring-dashboard spoofing, clipboard hijacking through `OSC 52`, and window-title spoofing through `OSC 0/2`. This works even with a loopback-only log listener because the input arrives through normal Caddy access logs. `Certificates` and `Routes` share secondary unneutralized render sinks. The `--json`, `--once`, and daemon `--expose` modes are unaffected because they do not render an interactive terminal. Consequences depend on the terminal emulator and usually require further operator action to escalate; this is not general-pu

  • Oct 28, 2026SAIL is a cross-platform library for loading and saving images with support for animation, metadata, and ICC profiles.CVE-2026-59959 · Other software · HappySeaFox · reported by GitHubMedium 4.8

SAIL is a cross-platform library for loading and saving images with support for animation, metadata, and ICC profiles. Prior to version 1.0.2, the built-in WebP decoder can crash during loader initialization when processing a malformed animated WebP file with inconsistent container or `ANMF` frame metadata. In `sail_codec_load_init_v8_webp()` in `src/sail-codecs/webp/webp.c`, `WebPDemuxGetI` with `WEBP_FF_CANVAS_WIDTH` can return a zero `image_local->width`, which is then used as a divisor when calculating `bytes_per_pixel` from the image row size. The division happens before frame decoding and before generic image skeleton validation in `src/sail/sail_advanced.c`, causing an arithmetic fault and process termination. Applications accepting untrusted WebP images can consequently suffer denial of service; builds must include the affected WebP codec. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.2.

  • Oct 28, 2026Waline is a comment system with backend support.CVE-2026-55369 · Other software · walinejs · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Waline is a comment system with backend support. Prior to version 1.41.1, the login endpoint POST /api/token reads the email field from the request body without checking its type and passes it straight into the MongoDB storage query. When email is not a string (for example a JSON object such as {"$ne": null}), the MongoDB storage adapter's parseWhere silently DROPS the field rather than rejecting the request, producing an empty filter that matches ALL users. The endpoint then verifies the submitted password against the FIRST user returned (user[0]), which in Waline is the first-registered user — the site administrator. This is a PARTIAL authentication bypass, not a full one. The attacker still needs a valid password for that first user; this is not a zero-knowledge bypass and it does not disclose passwords. Its concrete effects are: (1) the email/identifier factor is removed for the administrator account, (2) user enumeration (a non-string email never fails the "no such user" branch), and (3) credential-stuffing amplification — an attacker can test a leaked or weak password against the administrator account without knowing the administrator's email. This issue has been patched in v

  • Oct 28, 2026Awesome Support – WordPress HelpDesk & Support: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-103370 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Awesome Support – WordPress HelpDesk & Support Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'wpas_files' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 6.4.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This vulnerability is only exploitable when the "Enable drag-n-drop uploader for ticket form" setting is enabled, as it is disabled by default.

  • Oct 27, 2026The 3D Viewer for Nextcloud is a comprehensive 3D model viewer application for Nextcloud that supports multiple 3D file formats.CVE-2026-104189 · Other software · maz1987in · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

The 3D Viewer for Nextcloud is a comprehensive 3D model viewer application for Nextcloud that supports multiple 3D file formats. In versions 1.7.9 through 3.3.1, the app's public file endpoint performed no share authorization. Anyone who knows a share token could read the shared file's contents even when the link share was protected by a password. `PublicFileController` extended `OCP\AppFramework\Controller` and marked its routes `#[PublicPage]`. Nextcloud only enforces share passwords through `PublicShareMiddleware`, which returns early for any controller that is not an `OCP\AppFramework\PublicShareController` instance — so no password, expiry, or share-type check ran for these routes. `ShareFileService::loadLinkShare()` compounded this by treating any token that `getShareByToken()` matched as authorised. A share token is the part of the URL that people paste into chats, emails, and tickets. Password protection exists precisely for the case where holding the token should not by itself grant access, and that guarantee did not hold. Requests to `GET /ocs/v2.php/apps/threedviewer/public/file/{token}/{fileId}` returned `200` with the full file body for password-protected shares, with

Go JOSE provides an implementation of the Javascript Object Signing and Encryption set of standards in Go, including support for JSON Web Encryption (JWE), JSON Web Signature (JWS), and JSON Web Token (JWT) standards. Prior to 4.1.6, go-jose parses attacker-controlled RSA modulus and prime values from JWKs without enforcing size and consistency bounds before passing them to crypto/rsa.PrivateKey.Validate. On Go 1.24 and later, crafted large or degenerate RSA parameters can make that validation consume cubic CPU time, allowing remote denial of service in applications that parse JWKs from untrusted sources. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.6.

  • Oct 26, 2026Autobahn Python is a WebSocket and WAMP implementation for Python that supports Twisted and asyncio.CVE-2026-116579 · Other software · crossbario · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

Autobahn Python is a WebSocket and WAMP implementation for Python that supports Twisted and asyncio. From 26.7.1 until 26.10.1, PerMessageBrotli.decompress_message_data in compress_brotli.py calls the Brotli decompressor without an output limit and checks maxMessagePayloadSize only after a complete frame has been inflated. An unauthenticated WebSocket client can send a small, highly compressed frame that allocates hundreds of MiB before rejection, causing memory-exhaustion denial of service on servers that enable the opt-in permessage-brotli feature through the compress extra. Deflate and bzip2 already enforce the remaining output budget and are outside this residual vulnerability. This issue is fixed in version 26.10.1.

  • Oct 26, 2026zip is a zip library for Rust that supports reading and writing simple ZIP files.CVE-2026-115909 · Other software · zip-rs · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

zip is a zip library for Rust that supports reading and writing simple ZIP files. From 1.3.0 until 9.0.0, ZipArchive::extract in src/read/mod.rs calls Vec::with_capacity for a symbolic link target using the attacker-controlled ZIP64 uncompressed_size before reading entry data. A small archive can request an impossible capacity, causing the infallible allocation path to abort the process before the entry is validated. The failure cannot be contained with catch_unwind or a worker thread, allowing repeated denial of service in archive-processing applications. This issue is fixed in version 9.0.0.

  • Oct 26, 2026zip is a zip library for Rust that supports reading and writing simple ZIP files.CVE-2026-115908 · Other software · zip-rs · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4

zip is a zip library for Rust that supports reading and writing simple ZIP files. From 7.2.0 until 9.0.0, ZipArchive::extract and ZipArchive::extract_unwrapped_root_dir use safe_prepare_path in src/read/zipfile.rs and simplified_components in src/path.rs to validate symbolic link targets with a lexical prefix comparison rather than resolving each intermediate link. An attacker who knows or can guess the absolute extraction destination can create a chain whose apparent target remains under the destination while an intermediate symlink resolves outside it, allowing attacker-controlled files to be created or overwritten with the extracting process's privileges. On Windows, discarded drive and UNC prefixes can permit a single-link escape when the process has SeCreateSymbolicLinkPrivilege, such as through administrator rights or Developer Mode. This regression is distinct from CVE-2025-29787. This issue is fixed in version 9.0.0.

zip is a zip library for Rust that supports reading and writing simple ZIP files. From 5.1.0 until 9.0.0, applications built with the legacy-zip feature can reserve output capacity from an attacker-controlled ZIP64 uncompressed size before validating the compressed stream. The ShrinkDecoder path in src/legacy/shrink.rs can panic with a capacity overflow during ZipArchive::extract, and the Reduce and Implode decoders contain the same unbounded preallocation pattern. An unhandled panic can terminate an archive-processing service. This issue is fixed in version 9.0.0.

  • Oct 26, 2026zip is a zip library for Rust that supports reading and writing simple ZIP files.CVE-2026-115906 · Other software · zip-rs · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

zip is a zip library for Rust that supports reading and writing simple ZIP files. From 0.6.0 until 9.0.0, the AES entry reader in src/aes.rs verifies its HMAC only when the attacker-controlled data counter reaches zero. If the underlying bounded reader reaches the real end of the archive while data_remaining is still positive, or if an encrypted entry has no payload, the reader can return a clean end of stream without reading and comparing the authentication tag. Applications using by_index_decrypt, by_name_decrypt, by_path_decrypt, or password-enabled by_index_with_options can therefore accept modified plaintext without an authentication error. zip is a zip library for Rust that supports reading and writing simple ZIP files. Through 9.0.4, ZipArchive treats Central Directory File Header filenames as authoritative while ZipStreamReader extracts using Local File Header filenames without reconciling the duplicate metadata in src/read/stream.rs. A crafted archive can therefore appear benign to a component that inspects the central directory but cause a streaming extractor to write a different attacker-selected path and content, potentially overwriting files used by a downstream service. This issue is fixed in version 9.0.5.

  • Oct 23, 2026Twisted is an event-based framework for internet applications, supporting Python 3.6+.CVE-2026-83813 · Other software · twisted · reported by GitHubLow 3.1

Twisted is an event-based framework for internet applications, supporting Python 3.6+. Prior to 26.10.0rc1, twisted.names.dns.DNSDatagramProtocol accepts a UDP DNS response for a pending query when its 16-bit transaction ID matches but does not verify that the response came from the queried host and port. An attacker able to deliver a packet to the resolver's listening port with the correct transaction ID can inject a forged answer. The standard twisted.names.client.Resolver uses a new random source port for each query, increasing off-path attack complexity, while applications that reuse a DNSDatagramProtocol instance expose only the transaction-ID search space after the first query. A successful forgery can redirect hostname resolution and enable mail interception, server-side request forgery, or man-in-the-middle positioning. This issue is fixed in version 26.10.0rc1.

Twisted is an event-based framework for internet applications, supporting Python 3.6+. Prior to 26.10.0rc1, twisted.web.http.HTTPChannel.headerReceived rejects a NUL byte in an HTTP header value but accepts a bare carriage return or bare line feed. Because Twisted splits header lines only on CRLF, a hidden Content-Length header can remain folded into another value while a lenient front end treats the bare character as a line terminator. The resulting framing disagreement can smuggle a following request past front-end access controls, poison a shared connection or cache, and expose a later client to the wrong response. This issue is an incomplete-fix residual of earlier Twisted request-smuggling protections. This issue is fixed in version 26.10.0rc1.

A flaw in the client-side encryption support of the MongoDB .NET/C# driver can cause data designated for client-side field-level encryption to be written without encryption. Under certain platform text-encoding configurations, an internal name conversion loses information, so the encryption layer fails to associate the operation with its configured encryption rules and the operation proceeds without an error being raised. • Oct 19, 2026Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime.CVE-2026-111757 · Other software · honojs · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime. From 4.12.4 until 4.13.11, serveStatic can interpret a malformed percent-encoded path differently from upstream routing middleware and bypass protection for a static prefix. The root cause is serveStatic decodes a routed request path a second time before filesystem lookup. The attack mechanism is malformed percent encoding survives the first routing interpretation and becomes a protected path only during the later static-file decode. The affected component is serveStatic. The trigger conditions are an application protects a static prefix with upstream middleware and serveStatic receives an attacker-controlled malformed percent-encoded path. The impact is unauthorized disclosure of a static file that upstream middleware was intended to protect. The issue does not permit traversal outside the configured static root. This issue is fixed in version 4.13.11.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: stmmac: fix rx Scatter-Gather support When a received frame is larger than dma_buf_sz, the DMA scatters it across multiple RX descriptors (rx Scatter-Gather). The secondary RX buffer (sec_page) was only allocated and programmed when split-header (SPH) was active, so for regular frames buffer2 was neither allocated nor backed by a valid mapping. As soon as an incoming frame overflowed buffer1, the DMA wrote the overflow into the unmapped secondary-buffer address, triggering an SMMU translation fault on IOMMU-based platforms: arm-smmu 15000000.iommu: Unhandled context fault: fsr=0x402, iova=0x00000000, fsynr=0x7f0011, cbfrsynra=0x1c90, cb=11 arm-smmu 15000000.iommu: FSR = 00000402 [Format=2 TF], SID=0x1c90 arm-smmu 15000000.iommu: FSYNR0 = 007f0011 [S1CBNDX=127 WNR PLVL=1] Enable scatter-gather for non-SPH frames on cores that can program an independent secondary RX buffer (GMAC4/XGMAC): allocate and mark buffer2 as valid in stmmac_init_rx_buffers() and stmmac_rx_refill(), and account for it in the buffer length computation. Legacy cores have no set_sec_addr op, so they keep buffer2 disabled. Since buffe

Discourse ActivityPub adds ActivityPub support to Discourse. Prior to commit 1c8518b0f2abdf31cbea3e0b242f74d8994a9ba5, inbound ActivityPub processing does not sufficiently verify that the actor authenticated by the signed request matches the Activity actor and owns the referenced federated post. A remote attacker can exploit these missing identity and ownership checks to edit, delete, or reply to federated posts without the required permissions. This vulnerability is fixed with commit 1c8518b0f2abdf31cbea3e0b242f74d8994a9ba5.

Due to a DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability, an unauthenticated attacker could generate a malicious link and make it publicly accessible. If an authenticated user accesses this link, client-side code reads the attacker-controlled input and writes it into the DOM without proper sanitization, causing attacker-supplied script to execute in the victims browser context. This could allow the attacker to access or modify information within the victims browser scope, impacting confidentiality and integrity, while availability remains unaffected.
