  • Oct 22, 2026Flexible GraphRAG is a Python framework for building graph and retrieval-augmented generation applications across multiple graph, vector, and search backends.CVE-2026-114510 · Other software · stevereiner · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Flexible GraphRAG is a Python framework for building graph and retrieval-augmented generation applications across multiple graph, vector, and search backends. From 0.6.0 until 0.8.2, the _escape() helper in flexible-graphrag/langchain/graph/pg_store_adapters/falkordb_adapter.py escapes quotes before backslashes and then interpolates the result into Cypher assembled by FalkorDBAdapter.add_graph_documents, allowing an inserted escape to be doubled and a quote to terminate the string early. When GRAPH_BACKEND=langchain and GRAPH_DB=falkordb are configured, attacker-influenced ingested document content can cause the extraction model to produce malicious entity or relationship values that reach these queries, allowing injected Cypher clauses to modify or delete graph data and, when the calling code surfaces query results to the user or LLM, disclose graph data. Dynamic node and relationship type identifiers are also inserted into backtick-quoted query positions without safe parameterization. The LlamaIndex FalkorDB store is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.2.

  • Sep 29, 2026simple-git, an interface for running git commands in any node.js application, enables applications to execute Git operations from JavaScript.CVE-2026-102829 · Other software · steveukx · reported by GitHubCritical 9.2

simple-git, an interface for running git commands in any node.js application, enables applications to execute Git operations from JavaScript. Prior to 2.0.1 of the argv-parser package, parseEnv omits VISUAL from GitEnvKeys, so prepareEnv drops the value before vulnerabilityCheck can classify it as allowUnsafeEditor. A consuming application that forwards attacker-influenced environment values can therefore allow Git to invoke an attacker-selected editor during operations such as commit amendment or interactive rebase when no higher-priority editor setting overrides VISUAL and Git's terminal prerequisites are met. The executable runs with the privileges of the Node.js process. This issue is fixed in argv-parser 2.0.1.

simple-git, an interface for running git commands in any node.js application, enables applications to execute Git operations from JavaScript. From 3.15.0 until 4.0.1, the default blockUnsafeOperationsPlugin does not classify trailer.<token>.cmd as unsafe configuration. An application that passes attacker-controlled values through SimpleGitOptions.config or inline -c arguments can therefore allow Git to invoke an attacker-selected shell command when git interpret-trailers processes the configured trailer. The command executes with the operating-system identity and permissions of the Node.js process. This issue is fixed in 4.0.1.

  • Sep 29, 2026simple-git, an interface for running git commands in any node.js application, enables applications to execute Git operations from JavaScript.CVE-2026-102827 · Other software · steveukx · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

simple-git, an interface for running git commands in any node.js application, enables applications to execute Git operations from JavaScript. Prior to 4.0.0, the default blockUnsafeOperationsPlugin compares parsed option names with literal dangerous option spellings while Git accepts unambiguous long-option abbreviations. Attacker-influenced push arguments such as abbreviated --receive-pack or --exec forms can therefore bypass detectVulnerableFlags, reach git push against a local or file remote or an attacker-influenced receive-pack target, and cause Git to invoke an attacker-selected command in consumers that expose those arguments. The clone-side abbreviation handling does not protect the push path. This issue is fixed in 4.0.0.

simple-git, an interface for running git commands in any node.js application, enables applications to execute Git operations from JavaScript. Prior to 4.0.0, the default blockUnsafeOperationsPlugin does not completely reject configuration includes supplied through customArgs to git.clone(). The missing include.path classification permits Git to load an attacker-controlled configuration file, and the initial remediation does not cover includeIf.<condition>.path, allowing the same file-loading primitive through a conditional include. A loaded configuration can set an executable Git option such as core.sshCommand, which Git invokes during the clone operation with the privileges of the Node.js process. Exploitation requires the application to pass attacker-influenced custom arguments and requires an attacker-controlled file that the process can read. This issue is fixed in 4.0.0.

  • Aug 20, 2026deepmerge-ts is a typescript library providing functionality to deep merging of javascript objects.CVE-2026-40345 · Other software · RebeccaStevens · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

deepmerge-ts is a typescript library providing functionality to deep merging of javascript objects. Prior to 8.0.0, the deepmerge, deepmergeCustom, deepmergeInto, and deepmergeIntoCustom APIs do not track visited objects or object pairs when recursively merging records. When two input values contain self-references at the same property path, the merge logic repeatedly revisits the same pair until Node.js raises RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded. Applications that merge attacker-controlled recursive object graphs can synchronously crash the affected process or cause repeated worker restarts. Plain JSON input alone cannot create the recursive graph required to trigger the issue. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.0.

  • Apr 13, 2026simple-git enables running native Git commands from JavaScript.CVE-2026-28291 · Other software · steveukx · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

simple-git enables running native Git commands from JavaScript. Versions up to and including 3.31.1 allow execution of arbitrary commands through Git option manipulation, bypassing safety checks meant to block dangerous options like -u and --upload-pack. The flaw stems from an incomplete fix for CVE-2022-25860, as Git's flexible option parsing allows numerous character combinations (e.g., -vu, -4u, -nu) to circumvent the regular-expression-based blocklist in the unsafe operations plugin. Due to the virtually infinite number of valid option variants that Git accepts, a complete blocklist-based mitigation may be infeasible without fully emulating Git's option parsing behavior. This issue has been fixed in version 3.32.0.

  • Apr 2, 2026Tinyauth is an authentication and authorization server.CVE-2026-33544 · Other software · steveiliop56 · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7

Tinyauth is an authentication and authorization server. Prior to version 5.0.5, all three OAuth service implementations (GenericOAuthService, GithubOAuthService, GoogleOAuthService) store PKCE verifiers and access tokens as mutable struct fields on singleton instances shared across all concurrent requests. When two users initiate OAuth login for the same provider concurrently, a race condition between VerifyCode() and Userinfo() causes one user to receive a session with the other user's identity. Tinyauth is an authentication and authorization server. Prior to 5.0.3, the OIDC token endpoint does not verify that the client exchanging an authorization code is the same client the code was issued to. A malicious OIDC client operator can exchange another client's authorization code using their own client credentials, obtaining tokens for users who never authorized their application. This violates RFC 6749 Section 4.1.3. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.0.3.

  • Feb 26, 2026SteVe is an open-source EV charging station management system.CVE-2026-28230 · Other software · steve-community · reported by GitHubMedium 5.7

SteVe is an open-source EV charging station management system. In versions up to and including 3.11.0, when a charger sends a StopTransaction message, SteVe looks up the transaction solely by transactionId (a sequential integer starting from 1) without verifying that the requesting charger matches the charger that originally started the transaction. Any authenticated charger can terminate any other charger’s active session across the entire network. The root cause is in OcppServerRepositoryImpl.getTransaction() which queries only by transactionId with no chargeBoxId ownership check. The validator checks that the transaction exists and is not already stopped but never verifies identity. As an attacker controlling a single registered charger I could enumerate sequential transaction IDs and send StopTransaction messages targeting active sessions on every other charger on the network simultaneously. Combined with FINDING-014 (unauthenticated SOAP endpoints), no registered charger is even required — the attack is executable with a single curl command requiring only a known chargeBoxId. Commit 7f169c6c5b36a9c458ec41ce8af581972e5c724e contains a fix for the issue.
