Oct 26, 2026A broken access control vulnerability exists in the Mautic Stats API (/api/stats/{table}).CVE-2026-115195 · Other software · reported by security@mautic.orgMedium 6.5
A broken access control vulnerability exists in the Mautic Stats API (/api/stats/{table}). The endpoint did not enforce permissions for several internal tables: an intended administrator-only restriction was never applied, and tables without an explicit permission mapping were readable by default. As a result, any authenticated API user, including one whose role grants no permissions, could read data from these tables, including the application audit log with actions performed by all users and change details that may contain contact personal data, stored visitor IP addresses and their geolocation details, and tracked redirect URLs and their channel mappings.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: systemport: Fix buffer overflow in bcm_sysport_get_stats() When running on SYSTEMPORTCVE-2026-98808 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: systemport: Fix buffer overflow in bcm_sysport_get_stats() When running on SYSTEMPORT Lite, certain statistics are unsupported and skipped during bcm_sysport_get_stats(). The variable 'j' tracks the compacted index into the destination data buffer, whereas 'i' iterates over all elements in bcm_sysport_gstrings_stats. Because the buffer allocated by ethtool is sized only according to bcm_sysport_get_sset_count(), storing values at data[i] instead of data[j] writes past the allocated array bounds, leading to memory corruption. Fix this by writing to data[j] instead of data[i].

linuxserver Heimdall through 2.8.3 applies its SafeUrlFetcher SSRF protection mechanism only to ItemController; the enhanced-application test and live-stats requests occur via SupportedApps::execute(), a GuzzleHttp client that lacks IP address restrictions. In some realistic installations, the POST /test_config (and GET /get_stats) endpoints are accessible through CSRF, and thus an unauthenticated attacker can force the server to send requests to arbitrary internal hosts and ports (including 169.254.169.254) and read a status/port oracle in addition to partial response data.

Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: dsa: mxl862xx: disable the stats poll on teardown mxl862xx_setup() arms the stats polCVE-2026-98305 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: dsa: mxl862xx: disable the stats poll on teardown mxl862xx_setup() arms the stats poll before mxl862xx_setup_mdio(), and nothing stops it until dsa_register_switch() has returned an error to mxl862xx_probe(). DSA frees the dsa_port list before it returns, so a poll that fires once .setup or a later step of dsa_tree_setup() has failed walks freed ports. On shutdown the user ports stay registered, and the WORK_STOPPED flag test in mxl862xx_get_stats64() is not atomic with the cancel in mxl862xx_shutdown(), so a re-arm that read the flag before it was set queues the poll after cancel_delayed_work_sync() has returned. Arm the poll once .setup has succeeded and stop it from a .teardown op, which DSA calls on unregister and after a failed registration, in both cases before it frees the ports. Use disable_delayed_work_sync() there and in shutdown(): it drains a running poll as the cancel did and turns every later attempt to queue the work into a no-op, so the re-arm cannot bring the poll back. remove() and the probe error path only set WORK_STOPPED, which crc_err_work tests before it walks the ports.

Sep 30, 2026Post Views Stats Counter: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-97347 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The Post Views Stats Counter plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via User-Agent Header in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The plugin's only input filter is a substring blacklist for known bot signatures (e.g. 'bot', 'spider', 'crawler'), which can be trivially bypassed by crafting a User-Agent payload that omits those strings.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Keep the entry count when the histogram stats allocation fails print_entries() uses n_entries both as the number of sort entries and as its own return value, so the -ENOMEM it stores when the stats allocation fails overwrites the count that the cleanup still needs: n_entries = tracing_map_sort_entries(map, ...); if (n_entries < 0) return n_entries; ... if (!stats) { n_entries = -ENOMEM; goto out; } ... out: tracing_map_destroy_sort_entries(sort_entries, n_entries); tracing_map_destroy_sort_entries() takes an unsigned int and loops up to it, so -ENOMEM arrives as 4294967284. It walks an array of at most map->max_elts pointers and calls destroy_sort_entry(), which dereferences and frees, on whatever lies past the end. Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSv4.2: fix LAYOUTSTATS send buffer exhaustion encode_layoutstats_maxsz budgets XDR_QUADLCVE-2026-90103 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSv4.2: fix LAYOUTSTATS send buffer exhaustion encode_layoutstats_maxsz budgets XDR_QUADLEN(PNFS_LAYOUTSTATS_MAXSIZE), i.e. 256 bytes, for the layoutupdate4 body written by the layout driver. The flexfiles record can exceed that. ff_layout_encode_ff_layoutupdate() emits, per data server, a netaddr4, an nfs_fh4, two ff_io_latency4, an nfstime4 and a bool. A data server whose filehandle is NFS_MAXFHSIZE bytes long already accounts for 132 of those bytes, and the two ff_io_latency4 at 64 bytes each, the nfstime4 and the bool add a further 144, so the body passes 256 bytes before the netaddr4 is encoded at all. encode_layoutstats() additionally writes the deviceid4 and the layoutupdate4 lou_type word, neither of which the macro accounts for. The filehandle and the address are both chosen by the server, through LAYOUTGET and GETDEVICEINFO, so it can drive the encoder past the end of the send buffer. xdr_reserve_space() returns NULL once that happens, and the two ff_layout_encode_io_latency() calls run with dss_info->mirror->lock held, so a NULL return there leaves the lock permanently held. Raise PNFS_LAYOUTSTA

AVideo through revision c3edcc274c389816d434acadac07ee78eaf330c1 (master, 2026-08-23) does not enforce the Live stream password check on the stats endpoint or on the HLS origin. Live::_getStats() (plugin/Live/Live.php) returns a password-protected transmission's RTMP stream key, its isPasswordProtected flag, and its HLS (m3u8) URL to unauthenticated callers, in both the public applications list and the hidden_applications branch used when canSeeLiveFromLiveKey() fails. Separately, the shipped NGINX configuration (deploy/nginx/nginx.conf) serves the .m3u8 playlist, the AES-128 key, and the transport-stream segments from the /live location without any auth_request (the auth_key_check directive in the .key location is commented out). A remote, unauthenticated attacker can therefore retrieve the stream key and decryption key and watch a password-protected live transmission without supplying the configured password. No patched version was available at the time of the advisory.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: pfcp: allocate per-cpu tstats for PFCP netdevs PFCP uses dev_get_tstats64() as its ndo_get_stats64 callback, but pfcp_link_setup() does not request NETDEV_PCPU_STAT_TSTATS. The net core therefore leaves dev->tstats NULL for PFCP devices. Creating a PFCP rtnetlink device can immediately ask the new netdev for stats while building the RTM_NEWLINK notification. That reaches dev_get_tstats64() and dereferences the NULL dev->tstats pointer. Set pcpu_stat_type to NETDEV_PCPU_STAT_TSTATS during PFCP link setup so the net core allocates the storage expected by dev_get_tstats64().

Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5e: Fix HV VHCA stats zero-sized buffer allocation mlx5e_hv_vhca_stats_create() is CVE-2026-72343 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.4
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5e: Fix HV VHCA stats zero-sized buffer allocation mlx5e_hv_vhca_stats_create() is called from mlx5e_nic_enable(), before mlx5e_open(). At that point priv->stats_nch is still zero, because it is only ever incremented in mlx5e_channel_stats_alloc(), which is reached only from mlx5e_open_channel(). mlx5e_hv_vhca_stats_buf_size() therefore returns 0, and kvzalloc(0, GFP_KERNEL) returns ZERO_SIZE_PTR ((void *)16) rather than NULL. The "if (!buf)" guard does not catch this, and mlx5e_hv_vhca_stats_create() completes "successfully" with priv->stats_agent.buf set to ZERO_SIZE_PTR. Once channels are opened (priv->stats_nch > 0) and the hypervisor enables stats reporting, mlx5e_hv_vhca_stats_work() recomputes buf_len using the new non-zero stats_nch and calls memset(buf, 0, buf_len) on ZERO_SIZE_PTR, faulting at address 0x10. Allocate the buffer based on priv->max_nch, which is set in mlx5e_priv_init() and is the upper bound on stats_nch: - Add a separate helper mlx5e_hv_vhca_stats_buf_max_size() that returns sizeof(per_ring_stats) * max(max_nch, stats_nch), and use it for the kvzalloc() in mlx5e_hv_v

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5e: Fix HV VHCA stats agent registration race mlx5e_hv_vhca_stats_create() registers the stats agent through mlx5_hv_vhca_agent_create(). The helper publishes the agent in hv_vhca->agents[type] under agents_lock and immediately schedules an asynchronous control invalidation on the HV VHCA workqueue before returning to mlx5e. The asynchronous invalidation invokes the control agent's invalidate callback, which reads the hypervisor control block and forwards the command to mlx5e_hv_vhca_stats_control(). That callback may either: - call cancel_delayed_work_sync(&priv->stats_agent.work), or - call queue_delayed_work(priv->wq, &sagent->work, sagent->delay). However, the delayed_work and priv->stats_agent.agent are only initialized after mlx5_hv_vhca_agent_create() returns to mlx5e: agent = mlx5_hv_vhca_agent_create(...); /* publish + invalidate */ ... priv->stats_agent.agent = agent; /* too late */ INIT_DELAYED_WORK(&priv->stats_agent.work, ...); /* too late */ If the asynchronous control path runs before the two assignments above, it can: - Operate on an uninitialized dela

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/sysfs-schemes: put stats for scheme_add_dirs() internal error damon_sysfs_scheme_add_dirs() setup the tried_regions directory after the stats directory setup is completed. When the tried_regions directory setup is failed, the setup function ensures the reference for the tried regions directory is released. Hence the error path should put references on setup succeeded directory objects, starting from the stats directory. However, the error path is putting the tried_regions directory instead of the stats directory. As a direct result, the stats directory object is leaked. Worse yet, if the tried_regions directory setup failed from the initial allocation, the scheme->tried_regions field remains uninitialized. The following kobject_put(&scheme->tried_regions->kobj) call in the error path will dereference the uninitialized memory. The setup failures should not be common. But once it happens, the consequence is quite bad. Fix this issue by correctly putting the stats directory instead of the tried_regions directory. The issue was discovered [1] by Sashiko.

Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ethernet: ti: icssg: guard PA stat lookups icssg_ndo_get_stats64() unconditionally caCVE-2026-72060 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ethernet: ti: icssg: guard PA stat lookups icssg_ndo_get_stats64() unconditionally calls emac_get_stat_by_name() with FW PA stat names regardless of whether the PA stats block is present on the hardware. emac_get_stat_by_name() already guards the PA stats lookup with `if (emac->prueth->pa_stats)`; when that pointer is NULL the lookup falls through to netdev_err() and returns -EINVAL. Because ndo_get_stats64 is polled regularly by the networking stack this produces thousands of log entries of the form: icssg-prueth icssg1-eth end0: Invalid stats FW_RX_ERROR A secondary consequence is that the int(-EINVAL) return value is implicitly widened to a near-ULLONG_MAX unsigned value when accumulated into the __u64 fields of rtnl_link_stats64, silently corrupting the rx_errors, rx_dropped and tx_dropped counters reported by `ip -s link`. Every other PA-aware code path in the driver is already guarded with the same `if (emac->prueth->pa_stats)` check. Apply the same guard here.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: defer link RX stats percpu free to RCU sta_remove_link() frees a removed MLO link's RX stats percpu buffer right away, but defers only the link container to RCU: sta_info_free_link(&alloc->info); kfree_rcu(alloc, rcu_head); The RX fast path reads link_sta under rcu_read_lock and writes the percpu stats. A reader that resolved link_sta before the removal keeps the pointer. The container stays alive from the kfree_rcu, so the read still works. But the percpu block it points to is already freed. This needs uses_rss. That is when pcpu_rx_stats exists. The full STA teardown frees the deflink stats only after synchronize_net(). The link removal path had no such barrier. The race is hard to win in practice, but the free should still wait for RCU. Free the link together with its data from a single RCU callback, so the percpu block is reclaimed only after readers drain.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drop_monitor: perform u64_stats updates under IRQ-disabled section In net_dm_packet_trace_kfree_skb_hit() and net_dm_hw_trap_packet_probe(), u64_stats_update_begin() / u64_stats_inc() / u64_stats_update_end() were called after spin_unlock_irqrestore(&...drop_queue.lock, flags), when local IRQs had already been re-enabled. Tracepoint probes can execute in IRQ or softirq context. On 32-bit architectures, u64_stats_update_begin() disables preemption but not interrupts, relying on seqcount writes. If a nested interrupt occurs on the same CPU during the 64-bit stats update, the reentrant seqcount update can corrupt the seqcount state or stats value. Fix this by performing the 64-bit per-CPU stats update before releasing drop_queue.lock via spin_unlock_irqrestore(), ensuring local interrupts remain disabled during the u64_stats update.

Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ifb: report ethtool stats over num_tx_queues ifb_dev_init() allocates dp->tx_private CVE-2026-64121 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ifb: report ethtool stats over num_tx_queues ifb_dev_init() allocates dp->tx_private to dev->num_tx_queues entries via kzalloc_objs(*txp, dev->num_tx_queues). Both IFB per-queue RX and TX stats live in those entries: ifb_xmit() updates txp->rx_stats using the skb queue mapping, ifb_ri_tasklet() updates txp->tx_stats, and ifb_stats64() aggregates both over dev->num_tx_queues. The ethtool stats callbacks instead size and walk the per-queue stats with dev->real_num_rx_queues and dev->real_num_tx_queues. With an asymmetric device where the RX queue count exceeds the TX queue count, for example: ip link add name ifb10 numtxqueues 1 numrxqueues 8 type ifb ethtool -S ifb10 ifb_get_ethtool_stats() indexes past the tx_private allocation and copies adjacent slab data through ETHTOOL_GSTATS. Use dev->num_tx_queues consistently for the stats strings, the stats count, and the stats data walks. This reports one RX stats group and one TX stats group for each backing ifb_q_private entry, which is the queue set IFB can actually populate. Reproduced under UML+KASAN at v7.1-rc2: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds i

May 29, 2026StatCounter – Free Real Time Visitor Stats: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-6275 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The StatCounter – Free Real Time Visitor Stats plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 2.1.1 This is due to insufficient output escaping on the post author's nickname in the statcounter_addToTags() function. The function is hooked to wp_head and fires on every single post page. It retrieves the post author's nickname via the_author_meta() and echoes it directly into a JavaScript double-quoted string context inside a <script> block without applying esc_js() or any equivalent JavaScript-context escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Author-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages that will execute whenever any user (including unauthenticated visitors) accesses a post authored by the attacker.
