  • Oct 21, 2026Roundcube Webmail before 1.6.20 and 1.7.x before 1.7.5 is affected by a path traversal vulnerability in the squirrelmail_usercopy plugin.CVE-2026-114714 · Websites & servers · Roundcube · reported by MITREMedium 5.3

Roundcube Webmail before 1.6.20 and 1.7.x before 1.7.5 is affected by a path traversal vulnerability in the squirrelmail_usercopy plugin. With the file based backend, the source path was built from the login name without rejecting path separators, so a login name containing a slash could cause files outside the configured squirrelmail_data_dir to be read and imported. Upstream fixed this in the commit “Fix unsafe use of a login name in SquirrelMail import file path”, which rejects login names containing a slash.

  • Sep 4, 2026smol-toml is a small, fast, and correct TOML parser and serializer.CVE-2026-85730 · Other software · squirrelchat · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

smol-toml is a small, fast, and correct TOML parser and serializer. Prior to 1.7.1, parse() can enter an infinite loop when a value inside an array or inline table is followed by a comment with no trailing newline. In src/util.ts, skipUntil() calls indexOfNewline(), receives -1 at the end of input, and resets the cursor to the beginning of the string instead of leaving the structure scan. The parser then hangs indefinitely and can consume a service's processing capacity when an application parses attacker-controlled TOML. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.1.

sqclass.cpp in Squirrel through 2.2.5 and 3.x through 3.1 allows an out-of-bounds read (in the core interpreter) that can lead to Code Execution. If a victim executes an attacker-controlled squirrel script, it is possible for the attacker to break out of the squirrel script sandbox even if all dangerous functionality such as File System functions has been disabled. • Apr 20, 2017SquirrelMail 1.4.22 (and other versions before 20170427_0200-SVN) allows post-authentication remote code execution via a sendmail.cf file that is mishandled in CVE-2017-7692 · Other software · Squirrelmail · reported by MITREHigh 8.8

SquirrelMail 1.4.22 (and other versions before 20170427_0200-SVN) allows post-authentication remote code execution via a sendmail.cf file that is mishandled in a popen call. It's possible to exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary shell commands on the remote server. The problem is in the Deliver_SendMail.class.php with the initStream function that uses escapeshellcmd() to sanitize the sendmail command before executing it. The use of escapeshellcmd() is not correct in this case since it doesn't escape whitespaces, allowing the injection of arbitrary command parameters. The problem is in -f$envelopefrom within the sendmail command line. Hence, if the target server uses sendmail and SquirrelMail is configured to use it as a command-line program, it's possible to trick sendmail into using an attacker-provided configuration file that triggers the execution of an arbitrary command. For exploitation, the attacker must upload a sendmail.cf file as an email attachment, and inject the sendmail.cf filename with the -C option within the "Options > Personal Informations > Email Address" setting.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
