Oct 27, 2026The AI Marketing Expert — AI Email Marketing, AI Content Generator, SEO Analyzer, AI Workflow Automation, Social Media & Ai Chatbot plugin for WordPress is vulnCVE-2026-109999 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The AI Marketing Expert — AI Email Marketing, AI Content Generator, SEO Analyzer, AI Workflow Automation, Social Media & Ai Chatbot plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'name' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires only that the chatbot module is active with at least one configured bot; the attacker stores the payload via three unauthenticated REST calls, and the JavaScript widget auto-poll then delivers it to any administrator who opens wp-admin/index.php.

The Social Share Buttons plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'form (containing share_url)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.30 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Oct 13, 2026Snazzy Social Media Feed: Arbitrary File UploadCVE-2026-110002 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8
The Snazzy Social Media Feed plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 2.5 via the (file scope) function. This is due to missing WordPress bootstrap, authentication, capability, and nonce checks in the standalone save-to-cache.php script, combined with insufficient sanitization of the pluginURL parameter before it is written to a web-executable PHP file. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. The save-to-cache.php script is directly reachable without loading WordPress; FILTER_SANITIZE_URL — the only filter applied to the pluginURL value — preserves the characters required to craft a valid PHP payload, which is then written verbatim into cached-content/cached-feed.php and immediately executable via a single GET request.

Oct 3, 2026Wp Social Login and Register Social Counter: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-97344 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Wp Social Login and Register Social Counter plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Avatar Alt Attribute via Arbitrary User Meta Write in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the attacker to chain two steps: invoking the nonce-only dismiss_ajax_call endpoint (nonce accessible to Subscribers via any wp-admin page) to set the xs_social_profile_image meta flag on their own account, which activates the unescaped img output branch in xs_social_get_avatar, and then setting their display name to a script payload that core's ENT_NOQUOTES handling preserves unescaped.

Oct 3, 2026WPZOOM Connect: AI Chat, Click to Chat, Social Icons & Share Buttons: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-100149 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3
The WPZOOM Connect: AI Chat, Click to Chat, Social Icons & Share Buttons plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 4.7.3 via the 'x-yamidoo-signature (attacker-obtained via inline_js identify payload)' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the full customer card — including name, WordPress user ID, order history, order totals, purchased products, payment method labels, and EDD Software Licensing license keys with status and activation counts — for any arbitrary victim email address on the site. Exploitation requires the attacker to register a WooCommerce customer or subscriber-level account with a crafted email address whose local part encodes the target timestamp and victim email, allowing the signature printed into the page HTML by inline_js() to pass verify_request() for an arbitrary victim; both the share_customer_data and identify_logged_in settings are enabled by default, so no non-default configuration is required.

Oct 2, 2026Smash Balloon Social Post Feed – Simple Social Feeds for: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-93756 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The Smash Balloon Social Post Feed – Simple Social Feeds for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Facebook Comment Message via v-html in Admin Builder Preview in all versions up to, and including, 4.13.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts that will execute whenever an administrator accesses the feed builder preview page. This attack requires only a Facebook account to post a comment on the connected Facebook Page, with no WordPress credentials needed; additionally, the use of v-show rather than v-if means injected HTML — including onerror handlers — is evaluated in the DOM even when the comment section is not visually displayed. When combined with the lack of URL validation in the cff_install_addon AJAX handler (admin/addon-functions.php), an injected script running in an administrator's session can trigger arbitrary plugin installation from an attacker-controlled URL, which may result in server-side code execution.

The Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 9.1.0. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to view, modify, or delete other users' Blog2Social records, including disclosing another user's network authentication IDs and scheduled post content, overwriting Open Graph and Twitter Card post metadata on posts they do not own, rebinding another user's social-network authorization, and mass-hiding all users' scheduled posts sitewide. The Product Feed Manager for WooCommerce – CTX Feed – Support 220+ Shopping & Social Channels plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 6.6.43 via the 'provider' parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with shop manager-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can lead to remote code execution when critical files are deleted. Exploitation requires two sequential REST API calls: first to /wp-json/ctxfeed/v1/make_feed/save_feed_config to persist the traversal payload in wp_options, then to /wp-json/ctxfeed/v1/manage_feeds/delete_feed to trigger the unlink(); deletion is further constrained to files whose extensions match the plugin's validated whitelist (csv, xml, tsv, xls, xlsx, json, txt).

Aug 11, 2026Social Login, Passkeys, Magic Link & Email OTP – Passwordless Login by VentraConnect: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-18961 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1
The Social Login, Passkeys, Magic Link & Email OTP – Passwordless Login by VentraConnect plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass via Unverified Provider Email in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.3. This is due to the plugin trusting the unverified email field returned by Spotify's /v1/me endpoint as proof of mailbox ownership — Generic::normalize_common() copies this value into the normalized profile without requiring an email_verified assertion, and User_Links::link_or_login_user() subsequently passes it directly to get_user_by('email', $email) and issues a persistent authentication cookie via wp_set_auth_cookie() without a provider-specific verified-email gate, a local mailbox challenge, or a logged-in approval step. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as any existing WordPress user, including Administrators, by supplying a known target email address through a controlled Spotify OAuth flow, gaining full administrative access to the site.

Aug 1, 2026WooCommerce - Social Login: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-8457 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8
The WooCommerce - Social Login plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in all versions up to and including 2.8.7. This is due to the plugin's Apple login handler accepting the Apple id_token and decoding only its base64 payload without verifying the JWT signature against Apple's public keys or validating the issuer, audience, or expiry claims, combined with the security nonce required to invoke the login flow being publicly exposed to unauthenticated users via a localized JavaScript object on the login page. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as any existing WordPress user — including administrators — by supplying a forged id_token whose payload contains the target user's email address, as that email is used without any role exclusion to resolve a WordPress account and immediately issue an authenticated session for it.
