Oct 31, 2026Smart Post – Post Grid, Post Carousel, Post Slider Gutenberg Blocks for Blog & News: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-119160 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Smart Post – Post Grid, Post Carousel, Post Slider Gutenberg Blocks for Blog & News plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'display_name' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.9 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the victim page to contain an Author Filter block alongside a grid or live-filter block, and execution is triggered by a visitor clicking the attacker's author entry in the dropdown — a standard filter interaction requiring no elevated privileges from the victim.

Oct 31, 2026Shield Security – Smart Bot Blocking, Brute-Force Login Protection & File Scanning: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-118057 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The Shield Security – Smart Bot Blocking, Brute-Force Login Protection & File Scanning plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'REQUEST_URI' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 22.3.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The hidden 'path' column in ForTraffic.php lacks a client-side render function, so DataTables builds its cell via innerHTML, causing stored HTML in the path value to be parsed into live DOM nodes; a prior partial fix in version 18.5.8 added esc_html() only to the visible 'page' column, leaving the hidden 'path' field unescaped and exploitable through version 22.2.6.

Oct 28, 2026Echo Knowledge Base – Documentation, FAQs, Chat & Smart Search: Reflected Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-101935 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.1
The Echo Knowledge Base – Documentation, FAQs, Chat & Smart Search plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'new_kb_config' parameter (specifically the article-mobile-break-point-v2 key, among other config keys interpolated into the <style> element) in versions up to, and including, 17.214.0 This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in EPKB_Frontend_Editor::fe_preview_config() and EPKB_Articles_Setup: on every knowledge base article page view, when the request supplies epkb_fe_reload_mode=on, an attacker-controlled JSON blob is merged over the stored KB configuration and several values are concatenated directly into a stylesheet emitted inside a literal <style> element without escaping (minify_css() does not strip <, > or /). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user (with Editor-level access or above, holding the manage_categories capability, or an Administrator) into performing an action such as clicking on a specially crafted link.

Oct 16, 2026Opti-Behavior – Self-Hosted Heatmaps, Session Recordings, Funnels, A/B Testing & Smart Insights: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-95809 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The Opti-Behavior – Self-Hosted Heatmaps, Session Recordings, Funnels, A/B Testing & Smart Insights plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via 'country_name' Location Parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.9.2.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The heatmap recording endpoint accepts unauthenticated requests protected only by a nonce that any visitor can freely obtain via the public opti_behavior_refresh_nonces AJAX action, removing any practical barrier to injecting the malicious payload.

The Opti-Behavior – Self-Hosted Heatmaps, Session Recordings, Funnels, A/B Testing & Smart Insights plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'targetUrl' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.9.2.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping.
