    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mips: select CONFIG_WEAK_REORDERING_BEYOND_LLSC from CONFIG_EYEQ On I6500 CPU cores, lld and scd give no ordering guarantees (same as all other instructions). To respect the assumption that arch_cmpxchg() is fully ordered, we must inject sync instructions above and below our lld/scd loops using the already in place WEAK_REORDERING_BEYOND_LLSC infrastructure. • Sep 16, 2026Craft CMS 5.0.0 through 5.10.12 (fixed in 5.10.13) contains a broken access control flaw in the nested-elements reorder endpoint.CVE-2026-92589 · Other software · craftcms · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3

    Craft CMS 5.0.0 through 5.10.12 (fixed in 5.10.13) contains a broken access control flaw in the nested-elements reorder endpoint. When an authenticated control panel user with viewEntries and viewPeerEntries (but without savePeerEntries) opens another author's entry in read-only mode, Craft unconditionally grants that session a `manageNestedElements::<ownerId>::field:<handle>` authorization flag for the entry's Matrix/Address fields. Unlike the corresponding delete endpoint, actions/nested-elements/reorder trusts this session flag alone and never rechecks the caller's save permission for the owner element. As a result, a view-only user can POST to actions/nested-elements/reorder using the ownerElementType, ownerId, ownerSiteId, attribute, elementIds, and offset parameters present in the read-only page source and rewrite the sort order of Matrix blocks or Addresses belonging to content they are explicitly denied save access to.

    Concrete CMS 9 before 9.5.3 authorized the dashboard sitemap reorder action (Concrete\Controller\Backend\Dashboard\SitemapUpdate) using only the global access_sitemap task permission and did not check per-page edit permission before updating each page's display order. As a result, an authenticated user granted sitemap access could change the display order (cDisplayOrder) of any pages they had no rights to edit, altering the order in which those pages render in navigation, breadcrumb, and page-list output. The reorder action additionally validated no CSRF token, so the write could be triggered by a forged request. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. • Sep 15, 2026Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 did not enforce a per-page authorization check when reordering pages from the sitemap.CVE-2026-81922 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deLow 2.1

    Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 did not enforce a per-page authorization check when reordering pages from the sitemap. In the sitemap Explore dashboard controller, the send_to_top and send_to_bottom reorder tasks ran after only a generic sitemap-access check; the controller loaded the page named by the attacker-controlled cNodeID parameter and changed its display order without verifying that the current user held move or arrange permission on that specific page. Because of this, an authenticated user who could reach the sitemap but had no edit or arrange rights on a given page could still move that page and alter the site's global navigation order. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: svcrdma: Reorder rpcrdma_rn_unregister before rdma_destroy_id svc_rdma_free() caches rdma->sc_cm_id->device before teardown, then calls rdma_destroy_id(sc_cm_id) which frees the cm_id. rpcrdma_rn_unregister() follows, but between those two calls the transport's sc_rn entry is still installed in the device's rd_xa. A concurrent ib_unregister_device walk can dispatch svc_rdma_xprt_done() against the now-freed sc_cm_id. Move rpcrdma_rn_unregister() before rdma_destroy_id() so the transport's notification entry is removed from the xarray before the cm_id it references is destroyed. Also guard the sc_cm_id dereference with a NULL check: the following patches introduce paths that reach svc_rdma_free() with sc_cm_id == NULL (listener create failure, ADDR_CHANGE replacement failure).

However, the code incorrectly uses '&sg[i]' and 'sg_dma_len(&sg[i])' inside the loop, which treats 'sg' as an array base and indexes it again, leading to access of wrong sg entries (or out-of-bounds if the list is not an array).

  • Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix effective prog array index with BPF_F_PREORDER replace_effective_prog() and purgeCVE-2026-72427 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix effective prog array index with BPF_F_PREORDER replace_effective_prog() and purge_effective_progs() located the slot in the effective array by walking the program hlist and counting entries linearly. That count does not match the array layout: compute_effective_ progs() places BPF_F_PREORDER programs at the front (ancestor cgroup first, attach order within a cgroup) and the rest after them (descendant cgroup first). So when a preorder program is present, the linear hlist position no longer equals the program's index in the effective array. For replace_effective_prog() (bpf_link_update()) this overwrote the wrong slot, corrupting the effective order. For purge_effective_progs(), it could dummy out a slot belonging to a different program and leave the detached program in the array while bpf_prog_put() drops its reference, i.e. a use-after-free. Fix both by replaying compute_effective_progs()'s placement (including the per-cgroup preorder reversal) in a shared effective_prog_pos() helper. Identify the entry by its struct bpf_prog_list pointer rather than by (prog, link) value, so the lookup resolves to ex

  • Jul 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ipv4: bound TCP reordering sysctl writes and MTU probe sizes Reject invalid `net.ipv4CVE-2026-64422 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ipv4: bound TCP reordering sysctl writes and MTU probe sizes Reject invalid `net.ipv4.tcp_reordering` values before they reach TCP socket state. The sysctl is stored as an `int` but copied into the `u32` `tp->reordering` field for new sockets, so negative writes wrap to large values. With `tcp_mtu_probing=2`, the wrapped value can overflow the `tcp_mtu_probe()` size calculation and drive the MTU probing path into an out-of-bounds read. Route `tcp_reordering` writes through `proc_dointvec_minmax()` and require it to be at least 1. Also require `tcp_max_reordering` to be at least 1 so the configured maximum cannot become negative either. When registering the table for a non-init network namespace, relocate `extra2` pointers that refer into `init_net.ipv4` so the `tcp_reordering` upper bound follows that namespace's `tcp_max_reordering`. Harden `tcp_mtu_probe()` itself by computing `size_needed` as `u64`. This keeps the send queue and window checks from being bypassed through signed integer overflow.

  • Apr 3, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: mana: fix use-after-free in mana_hwc_destroy_channel() by reordering teardown A potenCVE-2026-23454 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: mana: fix use-after-free in mana_hwc_destroy_channel() by reordering teardown A potential race condition exists in mana_hwc_destroy_channel() where hwc->caller_ctx is freed before the HWC's Completion Queue (CQ) and Event Queue (EQ) are destroyed. This allows an in-flight CQ interrupt handler to dereference freed memory, leading to a use-after-free or NULL pointer dereference in mana_hwc_handle_resp(). mana_smc_teardown_hwc() signals the hardware to stop but does not synchronize against IRQ handlers already executing on other CPUs. The IRQ synchronization only happens in mana_hwc_destroy_cq() via mana_gd_destroy_eq() -> mana_gd_deregister_irq(). Since this runs after kfree(hwc->caller_ctx), a concurrent mana_hwc_rx_event_handler() can dereference freed caller_ctx (and rxq->msg_buf) in mana_hwc_handle_resp(). Fix this by reordering teardown to reverse-of-creation order: destroy the TX/RX work queues and CQ/EQ before freeing hwc->caller_ctx. This ensures all in-flight interrupt handlers complete before the memory they access is freed.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: padata: Fix pd UAF once and for all There is a race condition/UAF in padata_reorder that goes back to the initial commit. A reference count is taken at the start of the process in padata_do_parallel, and released at the end in padata_serial_worker. This reference count is (and only is) required for padata_replace to function correctly. If padata_replace is never called then there is no issue. In the function padata_reorder which serves as the core of padata, as soon as padata is added to queue->serial.list, and the associated spin lock released, that padata may be processed and the reference count on pd would go away. Fix this by getting the next padata before the squeue->serial lock is released. In order to make this possible, simplify padata_reorder by only calling it once the next padata arrives.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: renesas_usbhs: Reorder clock handling and power management in probe Reorder the initialization sequence in `usbhs_probe()` to enable runtime PM before accessing registers, preventing potential crashes due to uninitialized clocks. Currently, in the probe path, registers are accessed before enabling the clocks, leading to a synchronous external abort on the RZ/V2H SoC. The problematic call flow is as follows: usbhs_probe() usbhs_sys_clock_ctrl() usbhs_bset() usbhs_write() iowrite16() <-- Register access before enabling clocks Since `iowrite16()` is performed without ensuring the required clocks are enabled, this can lead to access errors. To fix this, enable PM runtime early in the probe function and ensure clocks are acquired before register access, preventing crashes like the following on RZ/V2H: [13.272640] Internal error: synchronous external abort: 0000000096000010 [#1] PREEMPT SMP [13.280814] Modules linked in: cec renesas_usbhs(+) drm_kms_helper fuse drm backlight ipv6 [13.289088] CPU: 1 UID: 0 PID: 195 Comm: (udev-worker) Not tainted 6.14

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: padata: do not leak refcount in reorder_work A recent patch that addressed a UAF introduced a reference count leak: the parallel_data refcount is incremented unconditionally, regardless of the return value of queue_work(). In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: sh: aica: reorder cleanup operations to avoid UAF bugs The dreamcastcard->timer could schedule the spu_dma_work and the spu_dma_work could also arm the dreamcastcard->timer. When the snd_pcm_substream is closing, the aica_channel will be deallocated. But it could still be dereferenced in the worker thread. The reason is that del_timer() will return directly regardless of whether the timer handler is running or not and the worker could be rescheduled in the timer handler. As a result, the UAF bug will happen. The racy situation is shown below: (Thread 1) | (Thread 2) snd_aicapcm_pcm_close() | ... | run_spu_dma() //worker | mod_timer() flush_work() | del_timer() | aica_period_elapsed() //timer kfree(dreamcastcard->channel) | schedule_work() | run_spu_dma() //worker ... | dreamcastcard->channel-> //USE In order to mitigate this bug and other possible corner cases, call mod_timer() conditionally

The details are shown below: (cpu 0) | (cpu 1) switch_drv_remove() | flush_work() | ... | switch_timer // timer | schedule_work(&psw->work) timer_shutdown_sync() | ... | switch_work_handler // worker kfree(psw) // free | | psw->state = 0 // use This patch puts timer_shutdown_sync() before flush_work() to mitigate the bugs.
