Oct 5, 2026Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') vulnerability in Apache Struts.CVE-2026-104714 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 8.8
Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') vulnerability in Apache Struts. Where a localized message formats a date or time argument, the formatter retained for that message by the application-wide text provider is used by concurrently served requests without isolation, so a value belonging to one user can appear in another user's response, or the rendering can fail and surface as a server error. Applications whose localized messages format no date or time arguments are not affected. This issue affects Apache Struts: from 2.0.0 through 2.3.37, from 2.5.0 through 2.5.33, from 6.0.0 through 6.11.0, from 7.0.0 through 7.3.0. Oct 5, 2026Allocation of resources without limits or throttling vulnerability in the Apache Struts REST plugin.CVE-2026-104713 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 6.5
Allocation of resources without limits or throttling vulnerability in the Apache Struts REST plugin. A request body is read into memory without any bound on how much will be accepted, so a single request can cause the server to allocate memory in proportion to its size, exhausting the Java heap and denying service to other users. No additional setting has to be enabled. Applications that do not use the REST plugin are not affected. Oct 5, 2026Asymmetric resource consumption (amplification) vulnerability in Apache Struts.CVE-2026-104712 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.5
Asymmetric resource consumption (amplification) vulnerability in Apache Struts. When a request parameter is bound to an arbitrary-precision decimal (java.math.BigDecimal) property that is then rendered through the Struts tag library, the framework can produce a response many orders of magnitude larger than the request, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to exhaust server CPU and outbound network capacity with sustained low-volume traffic. Applications that do not bind request parameters to BigDecimal properties, or never render such a property through the Struts tag library, are not affected. Sep 22, 2026Nautobot is a Network Source of Truth and Network Automation Platform.CVE-2026-83805 · Other software · nautobot · reported by GitHubMedium 6.4
Nautobot is a Network Source of Truth and Network Automation Platform. From 3.0.0 until 3.1.8, the generic ApprovalWorkflowStageResponse create endpoint does not enforce approver-group membership, change permission on the object under review, or the one-response-per-user restriction applied by the intended approve and deny actions. A user with only extras.add_approvalworkflowstageresponse can submit approved responses directly, while writable user and state fields permit responses to be attributed to arbitrary users. These forged responses can satisfy min_approvers, approve the workflow, and activate its gated ScheduledJob without a legitimate approver. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.8.

Sep 22, 2026Nautobot is a Network Source of Truth and Network Automation Platform.CVE-2026-83801 · Other software · nautobot · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4
Nautobot is a Network Source of Truth and Network Automation Platform. Prior to 2.4.37 and 3.1.8, a user with extras.add_relationship or extras.change_relationship permission can store HTML or JavaScript in a Relationship description, and a user with dcim.add_modulefamily or dcim.change_modulefamily permission can store it in a Module Family name. Nautobot assigns these values to form field help_text rendered by render_field.html through Django's |safe filter without adequate neutralization. The stored content executes in the authenticated browser session of any user, including an administrator or superuser, who opens an affected create or edit form. This can enable actions as the victim, session or token theft, and further privilege escalation. This issue is fixed in versions 2.4.37 and 3.1.8.

Sep 4, 2026fastify versions before 5.12.2 decide whether to compile a request schema based on JavaScript truthiness, but JSON Schema Draft 7 defines the boolean false as aCVE-2026-84469 · Other software · fastify · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbHigh 7.5
fastify versions before 5.12.2 decide whether to compile a request schema based on JavaScript truthiness, but JSON Schema Draft 7 defines the boolean false as a valid schema that rejects every instance. When an application assigns false to a route's body, querystring, params, or headers schema to deny all input, fastify treats it as a missing schema, compiles no validator, and runs the route handler on any request. An unauthenticated remote client can therefore reach a handler that a valid deny-all schema was intended to make unreachable, a complete validation bypass that can lead to unauthorized state changes or execution of disabled operations. Users should upgrade to fastify 5.12.2 or later.

Boruta is a standalone authorization server that aims to implement OAuth 2.0 and Openid Connect up to decentralized identity specifications. Prior to version 0.10.0, Boruta logged sensitive OAuth and OpenID Connect values in business event logs. Logged values could include access tokens, refresh tokens, authorization codes, agent tokens, direct-post codes, ID tokens, VP tokens, and tokens submitted to introspection or revocation endpoints. An attacker with access to Boruta logs, log aggregation systems, or the administration log viewer could recover these credentials and use them until expiration or revocation. Sep 2, 2026Boruta is a standalone authorization server that aims to implement OAuth 2.0 and Openid Connect up to decentralized identity specifications.CVE-2026-49249 · Other software · malach-it · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
Boruta is a standalone authorization server that aims to implement OAuth 2.0 and Openid Connect up to decentralized identity specifications. Prior to version 0.10.0, BorutaIdentityWeb.UserSettingsController.update/2 atomizes every key of the user-supplied request body via String.to_atom/1 before any validation. Because String.to_atom interns atoms permanently in the BEAM atom table (default cap 1,048,576 atoms; ERL_MAX_ATOMS), any authenticated end user can send PUT /users/settings with a user[<fresh-key>]=... body containing fresh keys per request and exhaust the global VM atom table. Once the table is full, the BEAM aborts with no more index entries in atom_tab and the entire OIDC server (auth, admin, gateway apps in the umbrella) crashes. The route is protected only by require_authenticated_user and a per-IP rate limit of 10 requests/second; a logged-in end user can hit it. The keys are atomized unconditionally before the downstream Accounts.update_user/6 call, so even failing updates contribute to exhaustion. This issue has been patched in version 0.10.0.

Aug 30, 2026WWBN AVideo (current e01e41ecc and earlier) contains a brute-force rate limiting bypass in enforceRateLimit(), which protects login.json.php and 13 other endpoiCVE-2026-82644 · Other software · WWBN · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
WWBN AVideo (current e01e41ecc and earlier) contains a brute-force rate limiting bypass in enforceRateLimit(), which protects login.json.php and 13 other endpoints. The function stores its attempt counter via a cache layer (ObjectYPT::setCacheGlobal) that silently discards writes for any client identified as a bot by isBot(). Because isBot() treats a missing User-Agent header as a bot by default — and also matches common bot identifiers such as 'curl', 'bot', 'crawler', and 'spider' — the counter never increments for such clients, so the rate limit never fires. An unauthenticated attacker can therefore submit unlimited login attempts (e.g., by omitting the User-Agent header or using curl's default User-Agent), enabling unrestricted password-guessing attacks.

Aug 29, 2026### Summary `qs.stringify` throws a `TypeError` when it serializes an object whose own `constructor` property has a truthy, non-callable `isBuffer` member.CVE-2026-82417 · Other software · ljharb · reported by 7ffcee3d-2c14-4c3e-b844-86c6a321a158Medium 6.3
### Summary `qs.stringify` throws a `TypeError` when it serializes an object whose own `constructor` property has a truthy, non-callable `isBuffer` member. `utils.isBuffer` duck-types buffers by calling `obj.constructor.isBuffer(obj)` after checking only that the property is truthy, so a value such as `{ constructor: { isBuffer: "x" } }` makes the call throw `TypeError: obj.constructor.isBuffer is not a function`. ### Details `lib/stringify.js:127` calls `utils.isBuffer` on every non-primitive value it serializes. `utils.isBuffer` (`lib/utils.js:332`) reads `obj.constructor.isBuffer` and invokes it without verifying that it is a function. `constructor` and `isBuffer` are ordinary property names, so any object carrying them as own properties reaches the unchecked call. Such an object can be built from untrusted input. `qs.parse("x[constructor][isBuffer]=y", { plainObjects: true })` or `{ allowPrototypes: true }` keeps the `constructor` key as an own property (the default parse options drop it), and `JSON.parse("{\"a\":{\"constructor\":{\"isBuffer\":\"x\"}}}")` produces the same shape with no qs option involved. Uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in Apache Struts. An application that exposes an endpoint collecting Content Security Policy violation reports reads the submitted report into memory without bounding how much it will accept, so a single request can exhaust the heap and deny service to other users. Such endpoints are ordinarily reachable without authentication. The core distribution maps no such endpoint by default; applications that do not collect violation reports are not affected. This issue affects Apache Struts: from 6.0.0 through 6.10.0, from 7.0.0 through 7.2.1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 6.11.0 or 7.3.0, which fixes the issue.

Exposure of data element to wrong session vulnerability in the JSON plugin of Apache Struts. Per-response serialization state could be shared across concurrent requests, allowing response content associated with one request to become observable in another. Only the SMD / JSON-RPC handling of the JSON interceptor is affected, which is not enabled by default; applications using the json result type are not affected. This issue affects Apache Struts: 7.2.1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 7.3.0, which fixes the issue.

Aug 14, 2026Uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in the JSON plugin of Apache Struts.CVE-2026-73633 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.5
Uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in the JSON plugin of Apache Struts. When an application is configured to populate actions from a JSON request body, the plugin reads that body into memory without bounding how much it will accept, so a single request can exhaust the heap and deny service to other users. The plugin's configurable JSON input length limit does not bound this read. The JSON plugin is an optional component; applications that do not use it, or use it without enabling JSON request-body handling, are not affected. This issue affects Apache Struts: from 2.1.8 through 2.3.37, from 2.5.0 through 2.5.33, from 6.0.0 through 6.10.0, from 7.0.0 through 7.2.1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 6.11.0 or 7.3.0, which fixes the issue.

Jul 30, 2026Improper Isolation or Compartmentalization vulnerability in malach-it boruta (Elixir.Boruta.Openid module) allows attackers to register OpenID Connect clients wCVE-2026-65635 · Other software · malach-it · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.3
Improper Isolation or Compartmentalization vulnerability in malach-it boruta (Elixir.Boruta.Openid module) allows attackers to register OpenID Connect clients with administrative privileges through the dynamic client registration entry point. Boruta.Openid.register_client/3 forwards caller-supplied registration parameters to the administrative client creation path without a public/admin field-level allowlist, so an unauthenticated registrant can set security-sensitive attributes including supported grant types, authorized scopes, PKCE enforcement, public refresh and revocation behavior, token lifetimes, and signing settings. The library does not distinguish between metadata a public registrant is allowed to set and administrative controls that should require operator approval. This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/boruta/openid.ex and program routines 'Elixir.Boruta.Openid':register_client/3, 'Elixir.Boruta.Openid':parse_registration_params/2. This issue affects boruta from 2.3.0 before 2.3.7.

Jul 30, 2026Server-Side Request Forgery vulnerability in malach-it Boruta allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause the OAuth/OpenID authorization server to issue CVE-2026-54885 · Other software · malach-it · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.9
Server-Side Request Forgery vulnerability in malach-it Boruta allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause the OAuth/OpenID authorization server to issue outbound HTTP requests to attacker-chosen URIs, including internal services and cloud metadata endpoints. Three code paths fetch remote URIs supplied by the requester without sufficient validation of the target. Boruta.Oauth.Request.Base.fetch_unsigned_request/1 in lib/boruta/oauth/request/base.ex dereferences the OAuth request_uri parameter from the authorization request via Finch.build(:get, request_uri) |> Finch.request(OpenIDHttpClient). Boruta.Openid.parse_registration_params/2 in lib/boruta/openid.ex dereferences the jwks_uri supplied in an OpenID Connect dynamic client registration request. Boruta.Ecto.Clients.refresh_jwk_from_jwks_uri/1 in lib/boruta/adapters/ecto/clients.ex later refreshes the stored jwks_uri for an existing client. In all three paths the only validation is that the URI parses with a scheme (and one of the two request_uri clauses does not even restrict the scheme to http or https). The implementations do not require HTTPS, do not enforce a host or IP allowlist, do not reject loopback, private, link

Jul 30, 2026Authentication Bypass by Capture-replay vulnerability in malach-it Boruta allows an attacker who has obtained a previously valid JWT client assertion to authentCVE-2026-53431 · Other software · malach-it · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbCritical 9.1
Authentication Bypass by Capture-replay vulnerability in malach-it Boruta allows an attacker who has obtained a previously valid JWT client assertion to authenticate as the issuing OAuth client after the assertion has expired. Boruta accepts JWT-based client authentication (client_secret_jwt and private_key_jwt token endpoint authentication methods) but never enforces that the assertion's exp claim is in the future. The pre-check helper Boruta.Oauth.Request.Base.check_expiration/1 in lib/boruta/oauth/request/base.ex only verifies that an exp claim is present (it pattern-matches on the existence of the key and returns success), and the Joken token configuration used for signature verification, Boruta.Oauth.Authorization.Client.Token.token_config/0 in lib/boruta/oauth/authorization/client.ex, returns an empty map, so Joken's default exp claim validator is not engaged either. Any attacker who obtains a validly-signed client assertion (for example through logs, reverse proxies, browser tooling, or other observability surfaces) can replay it indefinitely to authenticate as the client and obtain access tokens with that client's privileges. This issue affects boruta: from 2.3.0 before 2

Glance through 0.8.5 contains an IP address spoofing vulnerability in the authentication handler that allows unauthenticated attackers to bypass brute-force lockout protections by supplying arbitrary values in the X-Forwarded-For request header when the server proxied option is enabled. Attackers can manipulate the leftmost value of the X-Forwarded-For header to make each login attempt appear to originate from a distinct IP address, preventing the per-IP failed-login counter from reaching the lockout threshold and enabling unlimited credential guessing against the authentication endpoint.
