  • Oct 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/insn-eval: Fix shadowed segment index in get_seg_reg_override_idx() Commit 45e1dccc065CVE-2026-99186 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/insn-eval: Fix shadowed segment index in get_seg_reg_override_idx() Commit 45e1dccc0653 ("x86/insn: Simplify for_each_insn_prefix()") made for_each_insn_prefix() declare its own loop counter named idx. get_seg_reg_override_idx() keeps its result in a local of the same name, so the assignments in the loop body now write the loop counter: - the function always returns INAT_SEG_REG_DEFAULT, so FS and GS overrides are ignored; - a CS override sets the counter to INAT_SEG_REG_CS (2), the increment makes it 3, and prefixes.bytes[3] holds the last prefix, 0x2e again, so the loop never terminates. The UMIP emulation reaches this from the #GP handler for user space: an SGDT, SIDT or SMSW with a memory operand and a CS prefix leaves the task spinning in the kernel, never returning to user space, with a SIGKILL that is never delivered. Any user can thus tie up CPUs until reboot. With an FS or GS prefix, the emulated result is written to the wrong address. Rename the internal macro iterator variable. [ Lukas' original patch renamed the use site, I changed it to rename the iterator in the macro instead,

  • Oct 23, 2026A request attribute override vulnerability in Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows unauthenticated requests to /h/* to populate servlet attributes intended fCVE-2026-50053 · Email & office · Zimbra · reported by cve@rapid7.comHigh 8.7

A request attribute override vulnerability in Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows unauthenticated requests to /h/* to populate servlet attributes intended for trusted internal dispatch. RestFilter copies URL parameters specifying an authentication token, target account, target item and dispatch state into the request attributes consumed by the Classic Web Client. Combined with CVE-2026-10632 on ZCS 10.1.16, this allows an attacker to supply their own valid token and document identifiers and execute JavaScript in another user's signed-in browser session. ZCS 10.1.17 blocks that XSS chain by changing the document renderer, but retains the request attribute override.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath12k: fix stride mismatch in mac_phy_caps_parse() Currently, in ath12k_wmi_mac_phy_caps_parse(), kzalloc() sizes the mac_phy_caps buffer as tot_phy_id * len, where len is clamped to min(firmware_len, sizeof(struct ath12k_wmi_mac_phy_caps_params)). The subsequent memcpy() destination advances by sizeof(full struct) per slot via C pointer arithmetic, not by the clamped len. When firmware sends short TLVs, the second and later slots are written past the end of the allocation. The reader in ath12k_pull_mac_phy_cap_svc_ready_ext() also indexes the buffer with full-struct pointer arithmetic, so the allocation must match that stride. Fix by using kzalloc_objs(), which derives the element size from the pointer type, making allocation size and pointer stride provably consistent regardless of what len the firmware provides. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt76: fix non-AQL packet accounting for MLO stations __mt76_tx_queue_skb() overrides the wcid passed by the driver with sta->drv_priv, so the wcid might incorrectly be changed after TX, causing wcid->non_aql_packets to be counted on the wrong wcid. For example, on the AP side, if a station's setup link is the 5G link and the station uses 2G to transmit a frame, the value of non_aql_packets is increased on the 5G wcid but decreased on the 2G wcid. Once the inflated counter exceeds MT_MAX_NON_AQL_PKT, the TX scheduler permanently refuses to service the station. Drop the reassignment and account on the wcid used for transmission. This also records the actual wcid in the queue entry.

  • Sep 15, 2026Affected versions of MISP rely on CakePHP request-method override processing in a way that can disable CSRF and form-security validation.CVE-2026-91819 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 6.9

Affected versions of MISP rely on CakePHP request-method override processing in a way that can disable CSRF and form-security validation. CakePHP honors a _method field or X-HTTP-Method-Override header by rewriting the effective request method. For override values outside the normal write verbs POST, PUT, PATCH, and DELETE, CakePHP also clears the parsed request body. MISP’s security component then determines whether to perform _validatePost() and _validateCsrf() based on whether request data remains. With a value such as: _method=GET the body becomes empty before those checks run, so both protections are skipped. A cross-site form containing only that override can therefore reach actions whose parameters are taken from the URL rather than the request body Version affected: ≤2.5.45

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vmwgfx: validate external BO copy bounds for both stride paths vmw_external_bo_copy() trusts caller-supplied offsets, strides, and heights and operates on imported dma-buf vmaps: - The equal-stride memcpy() bound was clamped after subtracting the offsets from dst_size and src_size; an offset larger than the BO size wraps the unsigned subtraction to a huge value and the resulting memcpy() runs off the end of the vmap. dst_stride * height is also a u32 multiplication that can overflow. - The non-equal-stride row-by-row path had no bound at all. The loop touches bytes through offset + (height - 1) * stride + width_in_bytes, with only a WARN_ON(dst_stride < width_in_bytes), and could likewise step past the end of either mapping. The offsets and strides are derived from STDU/SOU plane state, so a configured CRTC submitting a crafted atomic commit on an imported framebuffer can reach this path. Validate the exact row-copy endpoint against each BO's size up front using check_mul_overflow() and check_add_overflow(). Use the bulk memcpy() path only when width_in_bytes covers the w

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: Fix context pstate override handling There are several problems in the context pstate handling code. The most serious ones are potential use-after-free and NULL pointer dereferences at context initialization time. Both are due amdgpu_ctx_init() not holding the adev->pm.stable_pstate_ctx_lock, which is otherwise used from both sysfs and the context code itself for modifying and clearing the stored context pointer. Second issue is that context fini can trample over the pstate configuration set via sysfs. This is due the restore state (ctx->stable_pstate) being saved at context init time, and not if, or when the context actually changes the pstate. As the context exits it will therefore incorrectly restore to what was set before the sysfs override was requested. The simplest fix is to drastically simplify how the state is tracked, by clearly defining the points at which pstate ownership is taken and released, and to handle all transitions under the correct lock. Instead of at context init time, the previous state is saved only at the point the context overrides the current state, and is restored on c

  • Aug 10, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/imagination: Fix user array stride in pvr_set_uobj_array() pvr_set_uobj_array() copiesCVE-2026-68262 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/imagination: Fix user array stride in pvr_set_uobj_array() pvr_set_uobj_array() copies an array of kernel objects to a userspace array whose element size is described by out->stride. When out->stride is different from the kernel object size, the slow path advances the userspace pointer by the kernel object size and the kernel pointer by the userspace stride. This reverses the intended layout. For larger userspace strides, later copies read from the wrong kernel addresses. For smaller userspace strides, later copies are written at the wrong userspace offsets. The padding clear is also done only for the first element instead of the padding area for each element. Advance the userspace pointer by out->stride and the kernel pointer by obj_size, and clear per-element padding while the current userspace pointer is still available.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rust_binder: use a u64 stride when cleaning up the offsets array Allocation's Drop walks the offsets array (binder_size_t = u64 entries), cleaning up the objects, but it used usize instead of u64 for both the stride and the per-entry read. On 64-bit kernels (usize == u64) this is harmless, but on 32-bit kernels it walks the 8-byte entries in 4-byte steps, iterating an N-entry array 2N times, and reads the always-zero high word as offset 0, cleaning up the object at offset 0 N extra times. As a result the referenced node or handle ends up with a lower reference count than it actually has (a refcount over-decrement), and binder's reference accounting is corrupted; for example, the owner can be notified of a strong reference release (BR_RELEASE) even though references still remain. Change the stride to u64, and read each entry as a u64, narrowing it to usize with try_into(). On 32-bit ARM, when this over-decrement would drive a count below zero, the driver's existing refcount guard refuses it and fires: rust_binder: Failure: refcount underflow!

  • Jul 10, 2026Improper Neutralization of Parameter/Argument Delimiters vulnerability in elixir-plug plug allows an attacker to inject or override HTTP cookie attributes.CVE-2026-56813 · Other software · elixir-plug · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.1

Improper Neutralization of Parameter/Argument Delimiters vulnerability in elixir-plug plug allows an attacker to inject or override HTTP cookie attributes. The Plug.Conn.Cookies.encode/2 function in lib/plug/conn/cookies.ex builds the Set-Cookie response header by interpolating the cookie value and its path, domain, same_site, and extra attributes directly into the header without neutralizing the ; delimiter that separates cookie attributes. An application that places attacker-controlled data into a cookie value or attribute (for example via Plug.Conn.put_resp_cookie/4 when reflecting a username or preference) lets an attacker inject a ; to append or override cookie attributes (such as Domain and Path scope, or dropping the Secure and HttpOnly flags), enabling cookie tossing and session fixation. Carriage return, line feed, and null bytes are rejected by Plug.Conn header validation, so HTTP response splitting is not possible, but attribute injection through ; is not prevented. This issue affects plug: from 0.1.0 before 1.16.6, from 1.17.0 before 1.17.4, from 1.18.0 before 1.18.5, from 1.19.1 before 1.19.5, and from 1.20.0 before 1.20.3.
