• Oct 31, 2026BuddyBoss Platform: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-96554 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The BuddyBoss Platform plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Group Name in all versions up to, and including, 3.6.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the "Enable social group creation by all members" setting to be enabled, which is the default and permits Subscriber-level users to create groups; exploitation is not possible if group creation is restricted to administrators.

    up to 3.6.0
    What to do
Affects up to 3.6.0. Update BuddyBoss Platform to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.
  • Oct 31, 2026Photo Gallery, Sliders, Proofing and Themes – NextGEN Gallery: Remote Code ExecutionCVE-2026-76010 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The Photo Gallery, Sliders, Proofing and Themes – NextGEN Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.4.1 via the render_image function. This is due to unrestricted mass assignment of caller-supplied meta_data keys onto the image model combined with missing realpath containment in path construction and a bypassable signature check on the public image delivery route. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom-level access and above, to execute code on the server. Exploitation requires the authenticated attacker to own at least one NextGEN gallery — a condition that can be satisfied by any Subscriber who was ever granted the 'NextGEN Manage gallery' capability, and that access is retained indefinitely due to the stored gallery-author equality fallback in _can_manage_gallery() even after the capability is revoked.

  • Oct 31, 2026Debug Log Manager – Conveniently Monitor and Inspect Errors: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-120114 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Debug Log Manager – Conveniently Monitor and Inspect Errors plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'message (and pageUrl)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.5.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation requires that the site administrator has debug logging enabled with JS error logging active, and that the attacker can obtain the publicly emitted dlmVars.jsErrorLogging nonce — which is broadcast on every frontend page — to pass the nonce check on the unauthenticated endpoint.

  • Oct 31, 2026GeoDirectory – WP Business Directory Plugin and Classified Listings Directory: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-116752 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The GeoDirectory – WP Business Directory Plugin and Classified Listings Directory plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'post_images' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.197 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The injected payload does not fire for the attacker directly; it executes in the browser of any Administrator or Editor who opens the pending listing's edit screen, making this a privilege-escalation-capable stored XSS chain triggered through normal editorial workflow.

  • Oct 31, 2026Germanized for WooCommerce: Unauthorized Access of Private DataCVE-2026-109231 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Germanized for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Unauthorized Access of Private Data via Activation Token Reuse in versions up to, and including, 4.1.4. This is due to the `on_user_email_changed` hook — which is responsible for rotating the activation token and recording a pending-email-change marker on an unactivated Customer account — only being registered inside the `is_double_opt_in_login_enabled()` branch when "Disable login for unactivated customers" is set to Yes, leaving the original `?activate=` token valid and entirely unbound to the email address it was issued for when that setting is No. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to change their account email to a victim's billing email via the standard `/my-account/edit-account/` form and then redeem their original activation token through `customer_account_activate()`, triggering `link_customer_past_orders()` to reassign any matching guest order to the attacker's account and exposing the original buyer's billing name, street address, phone number, and purchased items on the attacker's My Account order page. Exploitation requires the site to have doub

  • Oct 31, 2026WP Directory Kit: Generic SQL InjectionCVE-2026-109197 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The WP Directory Kit plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'idfield' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.0 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

  • Oct 31, 2026FlexStock – Product Stock Sync with Google Sheets for WooCommerce: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-107711 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The FlexStock – Product Stock Sync with Google Sheets for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'products[].post_content' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.17.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is exploitable by any Subscriber-level user because the plugin's admin_enqueue_scripts callback exposes the REST bearer token in the Dashboard page source via wp_localize_script() without a capability check, and the REST endpoint's permission_callback validates only that bearer token rather than performing a current_user_can() capability check.

  • Oct 31, 2026WooCommerce Extra Product Options Pro: Reflected Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-104926 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.1

The WooCommerce Extra Product Options Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the '<fieldname>_start / <fieldname>_end' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. This vulnerability is only exploitable on product pages where a Date & Time Range Picker extra field is configured, though the required field name is visible in the product page source and requires no prior knowledge to discover.

  • Oct 31, 2026Ninja Forms – Contact Form Builder with Calculators, Quizzes, Signatures & AI Form Builder: Reflected DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-100151 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.1

The Ninja Forms – Contact Form Builder with Calculators, Quizzes, Signatures & AI Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via 'querystring:<key>' URL Parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.15.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. This bypass is triggered when an attacker supplies a matching field:<key> URL parameter that causes the server to fully resolve the {field:*} placeholder, forcing the client-side else-branch to abandon the server-sanitized value and reconstruct field content from the raw query string.

  • Oct 31, 2026Smart Post – Post Grid, Post Carousel, Post Slider Gutenberg Blocks for Blog & News: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-119160 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Smart Post – Post Grid, Post Carousel, Post Slider Gutenberg Blocks for Blog & News plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'display_name' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.9 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the victim page to contain an Author Filter block alongside a grid or live-filter block, and execution is triggered by a visitor clicking the attacker's author entry in the dropdown — a standard filter interaction requiring no elevated privileges from the victim.

  • Oct 31, 2026SimpleForm – Form Maker to Chat Apps with Quiz, Poll and Multi Lead Notifications: Arbitrary File UploadCVE-2026-118235 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The SimpleForm – Form Maker to Chat Apps with Quiz, Poll and Multi Lead Notifications plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 3.10.2 via the handle_upload function. This is due to missing server-side file key allowlist and pre-sanitization extension derivation that allows a trailing-dot filename to bypass all extension and MIME validation in handle_upload. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. The only access control is a nonce that is printed into every public form's data-nonce attribute, making it trivially obtainable by any unauthenticated visitor on a page embedding the form shortcode.

  • Oct 31, 2026FeedWordPress: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-110530 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The FeedWordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 2026.0517 via syndicated RSS/Atom feed content. The plugin's SyndicatedPost::sanitize_content() function only strips the 'target' attribute (the lines that would strip 'style' and 'on[a-z]+' event-handler attributes are commented out), and SyndicatedPost::insert_post() deliberately removes WordPress's wp_filter_kses and wp_filter_post_kses filters from content_save_pre before persisting imported feed items via wp_insert_post(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers who control an external feed that a site has already subscribed to to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

The Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar – Amelia plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.12 via the 'page' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract staff personally identifiable information — including full name, email address, phone number, gender, and timezone — as well as administrator-authored internal notes for every published event, all serialized into the JSON response because the raw providers array is never stripped before output.

  • Oct 31, 2026Acadlix LMS – AI Quiz Maker, Online Exam & Course Plugin for: Arbitrary file deletionCVE-2026-103882 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.1

The Acadlix LMS – AI Quiz Maker, Online Exam & Course Plugin for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the post_delete_assessment_file_by_id function in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.9. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). The route's permission callback only verifies a generic wp_rest nonce that the plugin itself emits inside the public acadlixOptions JavaScript object on every frontend page, effectively reducing the authentication requirement to unauthenticated.

  • Oct 31, 2026Newsletters: Time-based SQL InjectionCVE-2026-101325 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Newsletters plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via the 'id' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.18.1 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. An attacker can obtain the required nonce and subscriberauth cookie without a WordPress account by simply subscribing through the public newsletter form and opening the management link sent via email; the ownership check verifies only the subscriber_id field and does not validate that the injected id parameter belongs to the authenticated subscriber.

  • Oct 31, 2026The User Frontend – Membership, User Registration, User Profile, User Directory & Content Restriction with Frontend Post Submission plugin for WordPress is vulnCVE-2026-120070 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The User Frontend – Membership, User Registration, User Profile, User Directory & Content Restriction with Frontend Post Submission plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.3.13 via the `post_content` parameter of the `submit_post()` function. The vulnerability exists because the protected-shortcode blocklist guard inspects the `sanitize_textarea_field()` copy of the submitted `post_content`, while the copy actually persisted to the database is processed through `wp_kses()`, whose `wp_kses_no_null()` step strips C0 control bytes — allowing an attacker to inject a single `\x01` byte inside the `[wpuf-registration]` tag name to defeat the `strpos()` blocklist check while the clean, functional shortcode is stored verbatim; `strip_shortcodes()` does not neutralize the stored shortcode either, because the Frontend container that registers it via `add_shortcode()` is only instantiated when `is_admin()` is false, and `admin-ajax` requests have `is_admin() === true`. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to inject a `[wpuf-registration role="editor"]` shortcode into a published p

  • Oct 31, 2026Uncanny Toolkit for LearnDash: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-119096 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Uncanny Toolkit for LearnDash plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in versions up to, and including, 3.8.2 via the `email` parameter of the `uo_login_action()` function. This is due to a parser-differential flaw in which the plugin's account-verification gate resolves the submitted `email` value using the raw, unsanitized string passed to `get_user_by()`, while the subsequent `wp_signon()` call relies on WordPress core's internal `sanitize_user()` to strip appended junk characters — causing the gate lookup to fail and be skipped entirely while the real account is still resolved and authenticated. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in to unverified or administrator-suspended accounts whose credentials they already possess, obtaining a valid `wordpress_logged_in` session cookie and defeating the plugin's account-approval and account-suspension controls. The nonce required to reach the handler is freely obtainable in the same request from the unauthenticated `ult-refresh-nonce` endpoint, making exploitation trivial for any attacker with network access to the site and knowledge of a target account's credentials.

  • Oct 31, 2026Shield Security – Smart Bot Blocking, Brute-Force Login Protection & File Scanning: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-118057 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Shield Security – Smart Bot Blocking, Brute-Force Login Protection & File Scanning plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'REQUEST_URI' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 22.3.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The hidden 'path' column in ForTraffic.php lacks a client-side render function, so DataTables builds its cell via innerHTML, causing stored HTML in the path value to be parsed into live DOM nodes; a prior partial fix in version 18.5.8 added esc_html() only to the visible 'page' column, leaving the hidden 'path' field unescaped and exploitable through version 22.2.6.

The SEOPress – AI SEO Plugin & On-site SEO plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'display_name' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 10.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is exploitable by any Subscriber who sets their display_name to a string containing the literal %%archive_title%% token alongside HTML event-handler payloads, as WordPress stores display names without HTML filtering and the plugin substitutes the token after escaping has already occurred.

  • Oct 31, 2026Project Manager – AI Powered Project Management, Task Management, Kanban Board & Time Tracker: Remote Code ExecutionCVE-2026-116512 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Project Manager – AI Powered Project Management, Task Management, Kanban Board & Time Tracker plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.1 via the 'id' parameter parameter. This is due to unsanitized 'id' parameter value concatenated directly into the pipe-delimited validation rule string, which is then split and each token invoked as a dynamic PHP function with no allowlist check. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server. This is exploitable by unauthenticated attackers because WordPress core executes the route argument's validate_callback inside WP_REST_Server::dispatch() before the route's permission_callback is invoked, meaning the Project_Manage_Capability authorization gate is never reached on the vulnerable code path.

The Co-Authors, Multiple Authors and Guest Authors in an Author Box with PublishPress Authors plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'name (maps to display_name)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.17.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the attacker's user account to have a mapped author term, which occurs when an administrator has assigned them as a co-author on content or has enabled automatic author term creation for their role — this mapping is not present by default for new users on a stock install.

  • Oct 31, 2026Content Pilot – Autoblogging & Affiliate Marketing Suite: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-111070 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4

The Content Pilot – Autoblogging & Affiliate Marketing Suite plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 2.2.4. This is due to the plugin extracting the HTML meta description from each remotely-fetched article (WPCP_Readability::parse_meta()), piping that value through the article template substitution and html_entity_decode() in WPCP_Module::insert_post(), and then calling wp_insert_post() after switching the current user to the configured campaign author (an Administrator with the unfiltered_html capability by default) — so no wp_kses_post sanitization is applied to the attacker-controlled HTML before it is persisted as post_content and rendered on the front end. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers who control the content of any RSS source an administrator has configured a Content Pilot RSS campaign to consume to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract every row and column of the underlying database table backing any anonymously published app, including WordPress user password hashes, email addresses, and password-reset keys from wp_users. Exploitation requires that an administrator has published at least one app with its REST API authorization set to 'anonymous', which is the standard configuration for publicly embedded apps.

The Rox Appointment Booking – Appointment Booking Scheduling Solution plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation via Mass Assignment in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.1 This is due to the public `/rox-appointment-booking/v1/public/booking` REST endpoint performing mass-assignment of the raw request body into a new customer row while `CustomerModel::$fillable` includes the internal `wp_user_id` column, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to persist an arbitrary WordPress user ID alongside an attacker-controlled email address with no authorization check. When an administrator subsequently opens the poisoned customer record and clicks Update Customer, `SaveCustomer::handleRequest()` passes the stored `wp_user_id` and attacker-supplied email to `wp_update_user()` — succeeding because `LinkedAccount::canChange()` unconditionally returns true when the acting user holds the `edit_users` capability — thereby overwriting the targeted administrator's email address and enabling full account takeover via a standard WordPress password-reset request. Successful exploitation requires an administrator to open and save the poisoned record, and the attacker must know or gues

The Redux Framework plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.15. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to view the entire Redux options payload — including plaintext password field values, API keys, license keys, and SMTP credentials — exposed in the inline redux_<opt_name> JavaScript block on wp-admin/profile.php. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. The Wp Social Login and Register Social Counter plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.2. This is due to the social login REST callback registered at `/wp-json/wslu-social-login/type/{provider}/` with `permission_callback => __return_true` locating an existing WordPress account solely by the email string returned from the OAuth provider and calling `wp_set_auth_cookie()` without a password check, while the only verification guard — `!empty($getProfile->emailVerified)` in `inc/admin-create-user.php` — is a no-op for the bundled Hybridauth Facebook and Twitter adapters, both of which assign the raw email string rather than a boolean verified flag to `emailVerified`. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to obtain a fully authenticated session as any existing WordPress user, including Administrators, whose registered email address can be presented through a configured Facebook or Twitter login on the target site. The handler is registered as 'wp_ajax_nopriv_filtersFrontend' and performs no capability or nonce check; raw POST data is JSON-decoded into $filterSettings and the attacker-controlled 'default_query' array is unconditionally array_merge()'d into the WP_Query arguments, overriding the plugin's safe defaults (most notably post_status, post_type, posts_per_page, and nopaging). The UsersWP – Front-end login form, User Registration, User Profile & Members Directory plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized account access via Use of Predictable Password in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.78 The vulnerability exists because `get_dummy_user_passowrd()` derives the shared password for all 25 built-in dummy user accounts as the first 15 characters of `substr(hash('SHA256', AUTH_KEY . site_url()), 0, 25)`, while the full 25-character value of that same hash is simultaneously embedded in the hidden `uwp_register_hash` field rendered on every registration form response — reachable without authentication via both the public `/register/` page and the `wp_ajax_nopriv_uwp_ajax_register_form` AJAX handler, even when user registration is disabled. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to recover the dummy user password directly from a single HTTP request and use it to authenticate as any of the 25 built-in dummy accounts (such as antawn, chynna, or kiki) through `wp-login.php`, potentially achieving privilege escalation if any dummy account holds an elevated role. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Exploitation is a two-step persisted attack: an unauthenticated attacker submits a crafted bwfan_cart_id value during a guest Store API checkout (requiring only a publicly obtainable WooCommerce cart nonce), and the injection fires when a scheduled Action Scheduler job later reloads the stored meta upon order status transition out of pending, failed, or cancelled.

Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
