Oct 28, 2026russh is a Rust SSH client and server library that includes an SSH agent protocol implementation.CVE-2026-116794 · Other software · Eugeny · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3
russh is a Rust SSH client and server library that includes an SSH agent protocol implementation. From 0.50.0-beta.12 until 0.65.0, the agent server's Connection::try_sign path in russh/src/keys/agent/server.rs recognizes SSH_AGENT_CONSTRAIN_CONFIRM but returns a hard-coded successful result instead of calling Agent::confirm. In applications that override Agent::confirm to require user approval or another policy check, a process that can reach the agent socket, including the remote side of a forwarded agent, can use a key added through ssh-add -c without that check and can authenticate or sign data as the user while the key remains loaded. The separate Agent::confirm_request hook still runs for every signing request, so checks implemented there remain effective, and implementations that retain the default always-successful Agent::confirm do not lose an approval check through this regression. This issue is fixed in version 0.65.0.

Oct 28, 2026Apache Kafka's code-generated readers for flexible protocol versions read a tagged-field count declared by the sender and retain a RawTaggedField object for eacCVE-2026-111115 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.org
Apache Kafka's code-generated readers for flexible protocol versions read a tagged-field count declared by the sender and retain a RawTaggedField object for each unknown field. That count was bounded only by the outer request frame size (socket.request.max.bytes); it was not checked against the remaining buffer bytes or capped. Because each entry can be encoded in as little as two bytes (unknown tag 0, size 0), a modest request can declare tens of millions of tagged fields and force one object allocation per declared field. Flexible request headers (header version 2, used by flexible APIs such as ApiVersions v3) are parsed this way, so the amplification applies to the request header itself. Impact: The flexible request header is parsed on the network thread before authorization, request dispatch, and request-time quota accounting. A client can send a request of a few tens of megabytes whose header declares about 20 million tagged fields, forcing roughly that many RawTaggedField allocations and exhausting broker heap or inducing process-wide GC stalls, denying broker service. Because the header is parsed for pre-authentication APIs such as ApiVersions (v3), the allocation can occu

Oct 28, 2026Apache Kafka's code-generated protocol readers pre-size an array's collection from the element count declared by the sender.CVE-2026-111108 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.org
Apache Kafka's code-generated protocol readers pre-size an array's collection from the element count declared by the sender. That count is checked only against the bytes remaining in the request buffer, which assumes about one byte per element; because most elements need several bytes, a request can declare far more elements than the buffer holds and still pass. For a keyed array the reader then allocates an ImplicitLinkedHashCollection of capacity (2 * count +1), so a request of a few tens of megabytes can force a heap allocation several times larger before any element is read. The pattern is emitted into every generated reader, so it affects all Kafka API types with an array field. Impact: Request parsing happens before any authorization check. On a listener that does not require authentication (for example PLAINTEXT), an unauthenticated attacker can send a few concurrent requests that each declare a very large= array length and allocate many times their wire size in broker heap, crashing the broker with an OutOfMemoryError. The reporter demonstrated three concurrent ~90 MB ProduceRequest (v3) connections exhausting a 1 GB heap (~8x amplification). On listeners that require

Oct 27, 2026russh is a Rust SSH client and server library that includes an SSH agent protocol implementation.CVE-2026-116774 · Other software · Eugeny · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3
russh is a Rust SSH client and server library that includes an SSH agent protocol implementation. From 0.60.0 until 0.65.0, channel-open parsing accepts a peer-declared maximum_packet_size of zero and passes it into ChannelTx::poll_writable in russh/src/channels/io/tx.rs. The Channel::data, Channel::make_writer, and Channel::into_stream asynchronous write paths then calculate a writable size of zero and remain pending forever because window adjustments cannot satisfy a static zero packet maximum. An authenticated client can strand server writes, and a malicious server can strand client writes, allowing affected tasks, channels, and connections to accumulate without surfacing an error. This issue is fixed in version 0.65.0.

Oct 27, 2026russh is a Rust SSH client and server library that includes an SSH agent protocol implementation.CVE-2026-116773 · Other software · Eugeny · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3
russh is a Rust SSH client and server library that includes an SSH agent protocol implementation. Prior to 0.65.0, the client Session::process_packet path in russh/src/client/encrypted.rs accepts repeated packets encoded with russh's private msg::EXT_INFO = 7 before authentication, while the standards-compliant EXT_INFO message number 82 does not reach the affected handler. The handle_ext_info function appends every parsed extension name to received_extensions without clearing, deduplicating, or bounding the vector. A malicious SSH server that deliberately sends private message number 7 can therefore retain an unbounded number of attacker-controlled extension names for the session lifetime, causing progressive client memory exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 0.65.0.

Oct 27, 2026russh is a Rust SSH client and server library that includes an SSH agent protocol implementation.CVE-2026-116696 · Other software · Eugeny · reported by GitHubLow 3.3
russh is a Rust SSH client and server library that includes an SSH agent protocol implementation. Prior to 0.65.0, russh::keys::agent::server::serve in russh/src/keys/agent/server.rs accepts repeated SSH_AGENT_CONSTRAIN_CONFIRM records while adding a key and appends every Constraint::Confirm record to the key's retained constraint vector without a count or memory limit. A process that can connect to the agent socket, including the remote side of a forwarded agent session, can repeatedly add constrained keys and cause renewable memory growth that persists for the process lifetime because keys without a lifetime constraint do not expire. This issue is fixed in version 0.65.0.

Oct 27, 2026The Model Context Protocol Python SDK is the official Python SDK for Model Context Protocol servers and clients.CVE-2026-116686 · Other software · modelcontextprotocol · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
The Model Context Protocol Python SDK is the official Python SDK for Model Context Protocol servers and clients. From 1.10.0 until 1.30.0 and 2.2.0, ClientSession, ClientSessionGroup, and Client tool calls validate server-declared outputSchema documents with jsonschema's default resolver, causing an unresolved $ref value to fetch an HTTP, HTTPS, or file URL from the client's network and filesystem context. A server can trigger blind requests or local-file reads and can stall every session in the process because resolution runs synchronously on the event loop without a timeout. Oct 23, 2026obsidian-tc is a governed, agent-ready Model Context Protocol server for Obsidian vaults.CVE-2026-115478 · Other software · The-40-Thieves · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
obsidian-tc is a governed, agent-ready Model Context Protocol server for Obsidian vaults. From 1.0.1 until 1.31.4, `create_entity`, `link_entities`, `rename_entity`, `unlink_entities` and `delete_entity` regenerate memory notes from SQLite at the computed `memory/<type>/<name>.md` path without reliably preserving note ownership or the consistency of a failed lifecycle operation. During shared materialization, a hand-authored note or an orphan left by a different entity whose name sanitized to the same path could have its entire body overwritten on the next write naming that type and name, with non-owned frontmatter preserved. `rename_entity` also seeded the destination path with a direct atomic write without validating ownership and could overwrite a foreign note there. Separately, several tools mutated SQLite before fallible filesystem work: `create_entity` and `link_entities` inserted the row or relation before materialization; `rename_entity` updated the entity, including a retired status, before updating its note; `unlink_entities` removed a relation before rematerializing the source note; and `delete_entity`'s cascade removed the target and its relations before rematerializing

Oct 23, 2026obsidian-tc is a governed, agent-ready Model Context Protocol server for Obsidian vaults.CVE-2026-115477 · Other software · The-40-Thieves · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
obsidian-tc is a governed, agent-ready Model Context Protocol server for Obsidian vaults. From 1.13.0 until 1.31.4, on a Streamable HTTP deployment with `auth.jwtSecret` configured and a 2026-07-28-era client declaring `elicitation.form` support, a dispatch-gated tool call offered an `inputRequired` confirmation could still complete after the human declined or cancelled, or the elicitation response was omitted or malformed, provided the client echoed the validly bound `requestState` on resubmission. The server trusted an authentic, call-bound state as proof of approval even though that state was minted before the `elicitation/create` leg was asked and proved only that the resubmission belonged to the same call. A client behaving incorrectly or under an attacker's control could therefore execute dispatch-gated destructive vault operations without the human's approval, while still requiring the caller's ordinary tool permissions. Only tools marked `destructive: true` or requiring a scope with a human-in-the-loop floor were reachable through this bypass. The sixteen handler-side conditionally gated tools, including `write_note` overwrite and `move_note`, did not read elicitation state

The Pulsar broker serves two schema commands on its binary protocol: GetSchema, which returns the schema registered for a topic, and GetOrCreateSchema, which registers a new schema version for an existing topic. The broker handled both commands after checking only that the client connection was authenticated. Unlike the broker's other topic commands, such as those for creating producers and consumers or for looking up topics, these two commands did not check whether the authenticated client was authorized for the target topic. The Pulsar REST API endpoints for schemas were not affected. An authenticated client without any permission on the target topic, namespace or tenant could use these commands to: - read the schema registered for a topic in another namespace or tenant, disclosing the schema definition such as record field names and types. Message payloads are not disclosed. - register a new schema version on an existing topic in another namespace or tenant. The topic's schema compatibility and schema auto-update policies still apply. The issue does not allow message data to be read or modified, but a registered schema version can cause legitimate producers and consumers of th

D365 F&O MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol server for querying Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations X++ code and metadata. Prior to version 1.11.0, the officially documented Azure one-click deployment uses infrastructure/azuredeploy.json and infrastructure/main.bicep to default the apiKey parameter to an empty string and pass it to the App Service API_KEY setting. With API_KEY unset or empty, src/middleware/apiKeyAuth.ts passes requests through without authentication, while src/index.ts binds the HTTP listener to 0.0.0.0 by default. If the deployer leaves the optional key blank and does not add separate network restrictions or upstream authentication, the resulting public App Service allows unauthenticated JSON-RPC tools/call requests to /mcp. The deployment's MCP_SERVER_MODE=read-only setting does not prevent anonymous access to read/search tools, including search, get_object_info, batch_get_info, extension_info, security_info, find_references, and find_event_handlers, exposing indexed proprietary X++ source snippets and metadata. Oct 21, 2026Interpretation conflict in the HTTP protocol implementation in Apache bRPC (version < 1.18.0) on all platforms allows remote attackers to bypass access control CVE-2026-84747 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.org
Interpretation conflict in the HTTP protocol implementation in Apache bRPC (version < 1.18.0) on all platforms allows remote attackers to bypass access control rules enforced by a front proxy. Root Cause: The method dispatch function FindMethodPropertyByURI() in bRPC's HTTP protocol splits the request path with a string splitter that skips empty fields, so paths containing empty path segments (consecutive slashes), such as //flags, /flags// and /flags//port, are dispatched to the same method as their collapsed form /flags. Per RFC 3986 these are distinct paths. A front proxy that enforces an ACL (e.g. blocking access to builtin services such as /flags) matches the collapsed form only, and therefore forwards the padded literal to the bRPC server, where it is dispatched as if it were the collapsed form. This differential allows //flags?setvalue= to reach a builtin service that /flags is not allowed to reach. Additionally, the HTTP/2 implementation never validated the :path pseudo-header, so requests without a :path, or with a :path that neither begins with '/' nor is the asterisk-form '*', contrary to RFC 9113 section 8.3.1, were not rejected. Affected Scenarios: Deployments of Apa

Use-after-free in the RTMP protocol implementation in Apache bRPC (version < 1.18.0) on all platforms allows a malicious RTMP peer to crash the process or potentially corrupt memory via a crafted Abort message. Root Cause: When processing an RTMP Abort (protocol control message type 2), the RTMP policy implementation deleted the target RtmpChunkStream object. The send path (RtmpUnsentMessage::AppendAndDestroySelf -> RtmpChunkStream::SerializeMessage) runs concurrently on sender threads and dereferences the same RtmpChunkStream object without synchronization. If a remote peer sends an Abort message naming a chunk stream that is concurrently being used to serialize an outgoing message, the stream object is freed while still in use, resulting in a use-after-free. Additionally, deleting the chunk stream discarded its previous message header, so subsequent compressed (type-3) chunk headers on that stream could no longer be decoded. Affected Scenarios: Any application using the bRPC RTMP protocol implementation (rtmp policy), either as an RTMP server or as an RTMP client, where the remote endpoint is untrusted. The attacker needs to send an Abort message targeting a chunk stream id tha

Oct 21, 2026NULL pointer dereference in the RTMP protocol implementation in Apache bRPC (version < 1.18.0) on all platforms allows remote attackers to crash the server (denCVE-2026-82953 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 5.3
NULL pointer dereference in the RTMP protocol implementation in Apache bRPC (version < 1.18.0) on all platforms allows remote attackers to crash the server (denial of service) via a crafted createStream command. Root Cause: When an RTMP service rejects a createStream request by returning a null stream from RtmpService::NewStream(), the server sends an error response to the client. If writing this rejection response fails (for example, because the client closes the connection immediately after sending the createStream command), the error-handling path in RtmpChunkStream::OnCreateStream() dereferences the null stream pointer to access stream->_onfail_id, causing the process to crash. Affected Scenarios: Run an Apache bRPC RTMP server whose RtmpService::NewStream() may return null (i.e., the service rejects createStream requests). A remote client that sends a createStream command and then closes the connection before the rejection response is written can crash the server. How to Fix: (Choose one of the following options) 1. Upgrade bRPC to version 1.18.0, which fixes this issue. 2. Apply this patch: https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3508

In a BIND resolver, inbound DNS protocol messages with a particular structure will result in additional processing, with no limit imposed by BIND. A DNS message with a maliciously large number of such structures will cause BIND to consume disproportionate amounts of CPU time and memory during processing. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.18.50, 9.20.0 through 9.20.29, 9.21.0 through 9.21.26, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.18.50-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.29-S1.

Oct 21, 2026A heap use-after-free in the RTMP protocol component of Apache bRPC (versions < 1.18.0) allows a remote attacker to crash a bRPC RTMP server by sending a crafteCVE-2026-74758 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.org
A heap use-after-free in the RTMP protocol component of Apache bRPC (versions < 1.18.0) allows a remote attacker to crash a bRPC RTMP server by sending a crafted Abort control message. No authentication or application-level request is required. Root Cause: When an RTMP Abort control message names the chunk stream that is currently being parsed (the chunk stream carrying the message itself), RtmpChunkStream::OnAbortMessage calls RtmpContext::ClearChunkStream, which deletes the RtmpChunkStream while its Feed() is still running. After the message handler returns, Feed() continues to access members of the deleted object, resulting in a heap-use-after-free. Affected Scenarios: bRPC servers that enable RTMP support (ServerOptions.rtmp_service set) and accept connections from untrusted networks. How to Fix: 1. Upgrade bRPC to version 1.18.0, which fixes this issue. 2. Apply this patch: https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3452 The fix skips clearing the chunk stream when the Abort message targets the chunk stream that is currently being parsed.

Oct 21, 2026The Legacy Pipe receiver protocol (handshake / sendPipeData) uses a hardcoded SUPER_USER (root) identity when executing data loading and deletion operations.CVE-2026-59229 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.org
The Legacy Pipe receiver protocol (handshake / sendPipeData) uses a hardcoded SUPER_USER (root) identity when executing data loading and deletion operations. A user with only SYSTEM-level privileges (such as USE_PIPE or MAINTAIN) who does NOT have WRITE_DATA or DELETE_DATA permissions on target databases can send specially crafted PipeData messages through the Legacy Pipe API, resulting in data loading/deletion operations executed as root — effectively bypassing IoTDB's permission model entirely. This issue affects Apache IoTDB: from 2.0.0 before 2.0.11. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.0.11, which fixes the issue.

Oct 21, 2026The Redis protocol implementation in Apache bRPC allowed inline command parsing to allocate and copy the full connection buffer before a complete CRLF-terminateCVE-2026-58064 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.org
The Redis protocol implementation in Apache bRPC allowed inline command parsing to allocate and copy the full connection buffer before a complete CRLF-terminated command was available. A remote attacker with access to a Redis-protocol bRPC service could send long inline inputs without a terminating CRLF to increase memory usage and CPU copy overhead, potentially causing denial of service. Root Cause: The Redis inline command parser allocated memory based on the current input buffer size and copied the entire buffer before determining the current inline command boundary. The existing redis_max_allocation_size limit was applied to RESP bulk strings and arrays, but not effectively to the inline command path before allocation. Affected Scenarios: Use Apache bRPC server with Redis protocol enabled and reachable by untrusted clients. How to Fix: 1. Upgrade Apache bRPC to version 1.18.0, which fixes this issue. 2. Apply the patch from PR https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3363 . Note: The fix applies redis_max_allocation_size to Redis inline command lines and scans for CRLF before allocating parser arena memory. Inline command lines exceeding this limit are rejected.

Oct 20, 2026A2A Java SDK is the official Java SDK for the Agent2Agent (A2A) Protocol.CVE-2026-111765 · Other software · a2aproject · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
A2A Java SDK is the official Java SDK for the Agent2Agent (A2A) Protocol. Starting in version 1.3.0.Final and prior to version 1.3.2.Final, the AndroidA2AHttpClient synchronous POST path overrides the disabled-redirect setting in AndroidA2AHttpClient.createConnection() with the PostBuilder default followRedirects value of true, leaving a residual of the earlier credential-redirect fix. JSONRPCTransport and RestTransport add interceptor-produced authentication headers and call synchronous post() without disabling redirects. AuthInterceptor permits X-API-Key, API-Key, X-Auth-Token, and X-Authentication headers; Android's repackaged OkHttp strips Authorization on cross-authority redirects but retains these nonstandard headers, disclosing a complete configured API key or token to another authority. The additional exposure applies when redirect or front-door behavior is compromised separately from the credential-handling component, or those components operate in different trust domains; a completely malicious initial origin already receives the credential on the first request. Autonomous clients require no human action, while user-invoked workflows can require interaction. Explicit foll

Oct 20, 2026A2A Java SDK is the official Java SDK for the Agent2Agent (A2A) Protocol.CVE-2026-111764 · Other software · a2aproject · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
A2A Java SDK is the official Java SDK for the Agent2Agent (A2A) Protocol. Prior to 1.3.0.Final, the default InMemoryTaskStore configuration performs no authorization on task reads: the no-argument constructor sets authorizationProvider to null, and InMemoryTaskStore.get(String taskId) returns the stored task without checking the caller or owner. Authorization depends on supplying a TaskAuthorizationProvider and routing requests through AuthorizationRequestHandlerDecorator, whether installed through CDI or explicitly by the application. Default store wiring and manually constructed DefaultRequestHandler.builder().build() handlers, including integrations such as Spring, leave task reads unprotected when no effective authorization-provider and decorator check is installed. In a multi-caller deployment using the default configuration, a caller who knows or guesses another caller's task ID can retrieve the task status, context ID, message history, and artifacts. The default/reference transport endpoints do not enforce authentication, so the task-read disclosure is reachable by an unauthenticated caller rather than requiring a privileged account. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.0.Fina

Oct 20, 2026A2A Java SDK is the official Java SDK for the Agent2Agent (A2A) Protocol.CVE-2026-111763 · Other software · a2aproject · reported by GitHubMedium 5.7
A2A Java SDK is the official Java SDK for the Agent2Agent (A2A) Protocol. Prior to 1.3.0.Final, a malicious or compromised remote agent can cause the default JDK-based client to forward a configured API key to a third-party server. When a client application configures credentials through `CredentialService`, `AuthInterceptor.intercept` in `client/transport/spi/src/main/java/org/a2aproject/sdk/client/transport/spi/interceptors/auth/AuthInterceptor.java` uses `APIKeySecurityScheme.name()` from the remote AgentCard directly as the HTTP header name containing the credential, without checking that the declared location is HEADER. JdkA2AHttpClient uses followRedirects(NORMAL), so an agent-controlled cross-origin redirect forwards the custom credential-bearing header even when the standard Authorization header is stripped. The attack requires configured API key credentials for the agent's security scheme and control of the agent's AgentCard and redirect response, but no additional client privileges. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.0.Final.

Oct 20, 2026A2A Java SDK is the official Java SDK for the Agent2Agent (A2A) Protocol.CVE-2026-111762 · Other software · a2aproject · reported by GitHubMedium 5.7
A2A Java SDK is the official Java SDK for the Agent2Agent (A2A) Protocol. Prior to 1.3.0.Final, RestHandler.parseRequestBody in `transport/rest/src/main/java/org/a2aproject/sdk/transport/rest/handler/RestHandler.java` logs the entire JSON request body at SEVERE level when JsonFormat.parser().merge() throws InvalidProtocolBufferException. With push notifications enabled, createTaskPushNotificationConfiguration reaches this parser for requests to `/v1/tenants/{tenant}/tasks/{taskId}/pushNotificationConfigs`, whose token and authentication.credentials fields can contain bearer tokens and authentication credentials for client push endpoints. A valid JSON body that fails protobuf deserialization, including an unknown field under strict parsing or a schema mismatch, causes those secrets to be written to the server logs in cleartext. An attacker with access to the server logs or a log aggregation system can retrieve the credentials and potentially use the credentials to send forged task status updates to the client's push notification endpoint. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.0.Final.
