  • Sep 21, 2026MCP-for-Stata is a MCP server for integrating Stata into agent loops with a safety-first design.CVE-2026-55071 · Other software · SepineTam · reported by GitHubHigh 8.4

MCP-for-Stata is a MCP server for integrating Stata into agent loops with a safety-first design. Prior to version 1.19.0, the ado_package_install MCP tool in stata-mcp concatenates user-controlled input directly into a Stata command string without any validation or sanitization. An attacker who can invoke the MCP tool or the equivalent Python API can embed newline characters in the package argument to inject arbitrary Stata commands. Because Stata supports a shell escape command, this leads to full OS-level arbitrary command execution (RCE) under the account running the Stata-MCP server. The tool is registered in the default all profile, so no non-default configuration is required. This issue has been patched in version 1.19.0.

  • Jul 21, 2026MCP-for-Stata is an MCP server for Stata to integrate Stata into an agent.CVE-2026-47708 · Other software · SepineTam · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3

MCP-for-Stata is an MCP server for Stata to integrate Stata into an agent. Prior to version 1.17.3, the `log_file_name` parameter in the `stata_do` API and CLI is directly interpolated into a Stata command string without sanitization. The security guard (`GuardValidator`) only scans the do-file content but does not validate this parameter. An attacker can inject arbitrary Stata commands (including `shell`, `python`, `erase`, etc.) by crafting a malicious `log_file_name` containing quotes, newlines, or Stata command separators. Version 1.17.3 contains a patch for the issue.

  • Jun 25, 2026Remote Keyless Entry System (RKES), using the 433 MHz key fob bearing FCC ID CWTR53R0 manufactured by ALPS ALPINE CO., LTD., is vulnerable to a roll-back attackCVE-2026-49319 · Other software · Alps Electric Co., Ltd. · reported by cve@asrg.ioMedium 6.9

Remote Keyless Entry System (RKES), using the 433 MHz key fob bearing FCC ID CWTR53R0 manufactured by ALPS ALPINE CO., LTD., is vulnerable to a roll-back attack against its rolling-code authentication.  An attacker within RF range who records two consecutive lock or unlock transmissions from a legitimate key fob can later replay the same pair of transmissions repeatedly. During testing, replaying the first captured transmission caused the RKES to enter a state in which replaying the second captured transmission resulted in a successful lock or unlock operation of the vehicle. Tested and confirmed on a 2024 Suzuki Swift (SWIFT ISG GLS AC 1.2 5P 4x2 TM).

  • Dec 28, 2022Alpine is a scaffolding library in Java.CVE-2022-23554 · Other software · stevespringett · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Alpine is a scaffolding library in Java. Alpine prior to version 1.10.4 allows Authentication Filter bypass. The AuthenticationFilter relies on the request URI to evaluate if the user is accessing the swagger endpoint. By accessing a URL with a path such as /api/foo;%2fapi%2fswagger the contains condition will hold and will return from the authentication filter without aborting the request. Note that the principal object will not be assigned and therefore the issue wont allow user impersonation. This issue has been fixed in version 1.10.4. There are no known workarounds.
