  • Oct 16, 2026Open and provider-neutral, LoopX is a lightweight state kernel and local-first control plane for loop engineering.CVE-2026-108372 · Other software · huangruiteng · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Open and provider-neutral, LoopX is a lightweight state kernel and local-first control plane for loop engineering. From version 0.0.1 until 0.4.5, `loopx serve-status` in `loopx/status_server.py` uses `StatusRequestHandler._send_json()` and `do_OPTIONS()` to send `Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *` for unauthenticated responses on predictable loopback ports. A remote attacker can cause an operator who visits attacker-controlled web content to issue cross-origin requests to `GET /status.json`, `GET /review-material?goal_id=...&path=...`, `GET /`, and `POST /control-plane/configure-goal/dry-run`, exposing control-plane state, goal and run information, local absolute paths, private Markdown files below registered goal roots, and dry-run configuration projections. The affected routes do not provide cross-origin writes or arbitrary-file access. This issue is fixed in version 0.4.5.

  • Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: pxa: fix double counting of the hw descriptors pxad_alloc_desc() was converted CVE-2026-98324 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: pxa: fix double counting of the hw descriptors pxad_alloc_desc() was converted from kzalloc(struct_size(sw_desc, hw_desc, nb_hw_desc), GFP_NOWAIT) to kzalloc_flex(), which sets the __counted_by() counter sw_desc->nb_desc itself - but only where the compiler has __builtin_counted_by_ref(), so from gcc 15.1 or clang 22.1 on. The loop below it still increments nb_desc, which makes it come out doubled there and correct elsewhere. nb_desc is what pxad_free_desc() iterates over and what set_updater_desc() indexes from, so set it explicitly and drop the increment. The error path has to lower it to the number of descriptors allocated so far, otherwise pxad_free_desc() would free entries that were never allocated.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ata: libahci: clear PxCLBU and PxFBU for AHCI_HFLAG_32BIT_ONLY A user reported that commit 105c42566a55 ("ata: ahci: force 32-bit DMA for JMicron JMB582/JMB585") made the JMicron JMB585 unusable on his board. The failure is seen as soon as the ahci driver is probed, and booting with iommu=off does not solve the problem. Looking at the AHCI specification, PxCLBU and PxFBU are both read only '0' for HBAs that do not support 64-bit addressing. For HBAs that do support 64-bit addressing, the registers are read write, with a reset value that is Implementation Specific. When using the AHCI_HFLAG_32BIT_ONLY flag, the HBA does support 64-bit addressing, and a 32-bit DMA mask is set by simply clearing HOST_CAP_64. Thus, in this case, we need to explicitly clear the registers to 0.

  • Oct 5, 2026mppx-condition-gate provides conditional free-access wrappers for mppx payment methods.CVE-2026-104891 · Other software · douglasborthwick-crypto · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

mppx-condition-gate provides conditional free-access wrappers for mppx payment methods. Prior to @insumermodel/mppx-condition-gate 3.0.0 and @insumermodel/mppx-token-gate 1.0.4, the packages read a wallet address from the client-supplied credential.source, checked whether that public address met configured on-chain conditions, and returned a successful free-access receipt without invoking the wrapped payment verifier or proving that the caller controlled the wallet. An unauthenticated attacker could name any qualifying wallet and obtain content that should require payment, and cached grants could be reused for the configured cache lifetime. The corrected packages prevent free-access authorization unless payer control has been established. These issues are fixed in @insumermodel/mppx-condition-gate 3.0.0 and @insumermodel/mppx-token-gate 1.0.4.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: zero extend the result of an arena 32-bit cmpxchg bpf_convert_ctx_accesses() rewritesCVE-2026-98049 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: zero extend the result of an arena 32-bit cmpxchg bpf_convert_ctx_accesses() rewrites an atomic on an arena pointer from BPF_STX | BPF_ATOMIC to BPF_STX | BPF_PROBE_ATOMIC, and it runs before bpf_opt_subreg_zext_lo32_rnd_hi32(). That pass emits an explicit zero extension for a 32-bit cmpxchg even when bpf_jit_needs_zext() is false. This is done because on some architectures 32-bit cmpxchg requires explicit zero extension for the dst register. E.g. on x86-64 'lock cmpxchg' does not change the %eax if comparison is successful, while BPF semantics declare that each operation on a 32-bit register zero extends it's upper half. is_cmpxchg_insn() matches BPF_MODE == BPF_ATOMIC only, so an arena cmpxchg misses said zero extension adjustment. This patch adjusts is_cmpxchg_insn() to match BPF_PROBE_ATOMIC alongside BPF_ATOMIC.

  • Sep 22, 2026mppx is a TypeScript interface for machine payments protocol.CVE-2026-63628 · Other software · wevm · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9

mppx is a TypeScript interface for machine payments protocol. Prior to 0.8.2, the fee-payer cosigning path in src/tempo/internal/fee-payer.ts copied a client-supplied access_list from a 0x78 FeePayerEnvelope without validating its length or contents. Because EIP-2930 access-list entries consume intrinsic gas even when the listed addresses are never used, a client could add fabricated address-only entries and cause the server fee_payer wallet to pay unnecessary transaction fees. The demonstrated 180-entry list remained within the 500,000 gas policy cap, 16 KB header limit, and RPC simulation budget while increasing the fee by approximately 9.4 times. mppx is a TypeScript interface for machine payments protocol. Prior to 0.8.2, FeePayerPolicy in src/tempo/internal/fee-payer.ts used decodeFunctionData to validate fee-sponsored calldata but did not reject trailing bytes. A client could append nonzero padding that increased intrinsic calldata gas while gas_limit and max_fee_per_gas remained within policy caps, causing the server fee_payer wallet to pay substantially more than the decoded transaction required. The tested 16 KB header limit bounded the demonstrated padding to about 5,500 bytes and produced approximately five times the normal transaction fee. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.2.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: page_pool: fix UAF in __page_pool_release_netmem_dma on xa_cmpxchg race This bug was discovered while testing the hns3 driver under channel reconfiguration (`ethtool -L` / `ethtool -G`) with iperf3 traffic on arm64. The race is intermittently triggered when page_pool_destroy() runs page_pool_scrub() concurrently with page return via page_pool_put_netmem() on a different CPU. A WARN in page_pool_clear_pp_info() surfaced the dangling DMA index bits left by the cmpxchg loser, which led to the investigation. page_pool_scrub() iterates pool->dma_mapped via xa_for_each() with no page ref held. __page_pool_release_netmem_dma() currently reads and writes netmem fields (dma_addr, DMA index bits in pp_magic) after xa_cmpxchg() returns. The unref path calls put_page() unconditionally regardless of the cmpxchg outcome; when it loses the cmpxchg, it still frees the page before the scrub winner finishes these netmem accesses, so scrub touches a freed page -- a Use-After-Free. Fix this by splitting the DMA release into two functions: 1. __page_pool_unmap_netmem_dma() caches dma_addr before xa_cmpxchg(), does the cmpx

Ghostscript before 10.08.0 contains a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the JPEG 2000 output adapter (base/sjpx_openjpeg.c) that allows attackers to cause memory corruption by supplying a crafted PDF containing a JPEG 2000 image with mismatched component subsampling factors. When image components declare different subsampling values, the non-samescale sub-byte-depth output path allocates a row buffer sized for packed output but writes a full byte per output column regardless of bit depth, overflowing the allocation and corrupting internal chunk-allocator metadata to achieve code execution.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: hold rcu across localio cmpxchg retry nfsd_file objects are freed via call_rcu (filecache.c:296), and nfsd_file_slab is created without SLAB_TYPESAFE_BY_RCU (KMEM_CACHE(nfsd_file, 0) at filecache.c:789), so the slab page backing a freed nfsd_file becomes freely reclaimable once the RCU grace period elapses. The again: retry block in nfsd_open_local_fh() loads a pointer with cmpxchg and then calls nfsd_file_get(new) (which is refcount_inc_not_zero) without holding rcu_read_lock. The sole caller nfs_open_local_fh() drops rcu_read_lock before invoking this helper, so no outer reader-side critical section covers the load. The `vtoken-minting` and `slpx` pallets in Bifrost contain an improper authorization vulnerability in channel commission attribution. A signed account can supply an arbitrary registered `channel_id` when minting tokens without verifying that the caller is authorized to mint on behalf of that channel. This allows an attacker to inflate a channel's recorded mint volume and cause protocol commission payments to be disproportionately distributed to that channel during commission settlement.

HTTPX2 is a next generation HTTP client for Python. Prior to 2.12.0, the HTTPX2 content decoders in src/httpx2/httpx2/_decoders.py fully inflate each gzip, deflate, br, or zstd network chunk before iter_bytes() or aiter_bytes() yields bounded pieces to the application. A 64 KiB compressed chunk can expand to approximately 64 MiB in one intermediate allocation, so an attacker-controlled or compromised server can cause severe memory pressure or out-of-memory process termination even when the application streams the response. This issue is fixed in version 2.12.0.

HTTPX2 is a next generation HTTP client for Python. Prior to 2.10.0, httpcore2 fails to start TLS in src/httpcore2/httpcore2/_sync/socks_proxy.py and src/httpcore2/httpcore2/_async/socks_proxy.py when the remote origin uses wss through a SOCKS5 proxy because the TLS upgrade condition only recognizes https. HTTPX2 exposes the flaw through Client.websocket() and AsyncClient.websocket() from 2.6.0 through 2.9.1, so the opening handshake, query parameters, Authorization headers, cookies, and subsequent frames can cross the proxy path in plaintext without certificate verification. An attacker controlling or observing that path can read or modify traffic and impersonate the WebSocket server. This issue is fixed in httpcore2 2.10.0 and HTTPX2 2.10.0.

  • Sep 2, 2026HTTPX2 is a next generation HTTP client for Python.CVE-2026-84380 · Other software · pydantic · reported by GitHubMedium 5.6

HTTPX2 is a next generation HTTP client for Python. Prior to 2.11.0, Request._prepare() in src/httpx2/httpx2/_models.py can add a body-derived Content-Length header to a request that already contains a caller-supplied Transfer-Encoding header because its setdefault() processing checks each default header independently rather than treating the two framing headers as mutually exclusive. Fixed-size byte, JSON, form, and known-length multipart bodies can therefore be serialized over HTTP/1.1 with both headers, allowing request smuggling or connection desynchronization when downstream intermediaries disagree about which framing header takes precedence. This issue is fixed in version 2.11.0.

  • Sep 2, 2026HTTPX2 is a next generation HTTP client for Python.CVE-2026-84379 · Other software · pydantic · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

HTTPX2 is a next generation HTTP client for Python. Prior to 2.11.0, FileField.render_headers() in src/httpx2/httpx2/_multipart.py directly interpolates attacker-controlled content_type values and custom headers from the files= three-element (filename, content, content_type) tuple and the files= four-element (filename, content, content_type, headers) tuple into multipart/form-data part headers without validating header names or values. CR or LF characters can terminate a part header, inject additional part headers, or end the part header block early, allowing a downstream multipart parser to treat attacker-supplied lines as genuine headers and potentially alter part semantics or bypass header-based checks. This issue is fixed in version 2.11.0.

HTTPX2 is a next generation HTTP client for Python. From 2.5.0 until 2.10.0, the HTTPX2 Server-Sent Events parser in src/httpx2/httpx2/_sse.py repeatedly copies and rescans buffered text in _SSELineDecoder.decode() when an attacker-controlled or compromised SSE endpoint splits one unterminated line across many response chunks. The behavior affects httpx2.Client.sse() and httpx2.AsyncClient.sse(), and the total processing work grows quadratically with the line length, allowing a crafted stream to consume excessive CPU and block a synchronous worker or asynchronous event loop. This issue is fixed in version 2.10.0.

Denial-of-service (DoS) vulnerability in the internal JPEG2000 (JPX) decoding implementation of the Poppler fork developed by Innodata Labs. When an application processes an untrusted PDF file containing specially crafted JPXDecode images, a remote attacker can cause uncontrolled memory consumption. The flaw occurs in the JPXStream::readCodestream() function, where values controlled from the SIZ segment (such as img.nComps) are used for the memory allocation of tiles and components without adequate validation. This allows an attacker to force excessive memory allocation and cause a resource exhaustion, ultimately causing the pdftoppm process to terminate due to out-of-memory (OOM) conditions.

luci-lib-px5g (LuCI) contains a heap-based buffer overflow in the native ASN.1 encoding routine asn1_add_obj (x509write.c) when signing a certificate with a 2040-bit RSA key. For a 255-byte signature, the BIT STRING allocation is computed from the DER length encoding of 255 bytes, but the payload written after prepending the unused-bits byte is 256 bytes, requiring one additional DER length octet. As a result the allocation is 259 bytes while the tag, length, unused-bits byte, and signature require 260 bytes, and the final memcpy writes one byte beyond the heap buffer. The overflow is reachable through the exported Lua interface via create_selfsigned(); whether it is remotely exploitable depends on the embedding application. The vulnerable code is present on the openwrt-18.06 through openwrt-25.12 release branches and is absent from master, where the luci-lib-px5g package has been removed rather than patched.
