Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: team: free skb when broadcast has no txable port bc_transmit() sends the original skbCVE-2026-99026 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: team: free skb when broadcast has no txable port bc_transmit() sends the original skb through the last txable port. When no port is txable, it returns false without consuming the skb, but team_xmit() still returns NETDEV_TX_OK. AF_PACKET sends then retain the skb and its socket write-memory charge. A TX-enabled, link-down port keeps the broadcast transmit op installed. Carrier can stay up through a second link-up, TX-disabled port or be forced on by userspace. Free the original skb on the no-port path while leaving the existing drop accounting intact. Discovered by Sashiko during review of previous commit.

Oct 21, 2026When a configured proxy role sends a request to the broker on behalf of another user (the original principal), the broker is designed to authorize both the proxCVE-2026-105942 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.7
When a configured proxy role sends a request to the broker on behalf of another user (the original principal), the broker is designed to authorize both the proxy role and the original principal and to allow the request only if both are authorized, so that the original principal cannot exceed its own permissions. Two flaws weakened this check. First, the original principal was authorized with the proxy's authentication data instead of its own. On the admin REST API of the broker and the functions worker, this applied to every proxied request. On the Pulsar binary protocol, it applied when the proxy did not forward the client's credentials to the broker, which was the default of the Pulsar proxy in the affected versions. Authorization providers that resolve permissions from the role name only, such as the default authorization provider, are not affected by this flaw. The multi-role token authorization provider (MultiRolesTokenAuthorizationProvider), added in Apache Pulsar 2.8.1, resolves roles from the role claim of the token in the authentication data it is given. When a proxy authenticates to the broker with its own token, the original principal was therefore authorized with all r

Oct 21, 2026Insufficient preservation of the original sender in the forwarding of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.6 allows a remote unauthenticated attackerCVE-2026-114478 · Other software · Progressive Robot Ltd · reported by cve@gitlab.comMedium 5.9
Insufficient preservation of the original sender in the forwarding of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.6 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to have mail they write, naming in its From an address at a domain the server hosts, delivered to other receivers as passing that domain's DMARC policy. When the server sent on a copy of mail that came from outside - an account's forward, a mail rule's forward, a Sieve redirect, a list's copy, or an alias or list expanding to an outside address - it could give the copy an SMTP identity in the organisation of the domain the copy's From names, whatever the message's origin: with the Sender Rewriting Scheme or the rewrite of the envelope sender on forwarding enabled (both off by default), an address at the forwarding domain; for a list, its bounce address; for a message with an empty envelope sender, none, under the server's own host name; and an envelope sender the message came with at a subdomain of a hosted domain was kept. Where that identity's SPF record authorises the server, other receivers' SPF check of the copy passed for a domain aligned with the From, and DMARC passed with it, although the message had not passed DMA

Oct 20, 2026When processing an HTTP redirect to a URL containing userinfo (a `username:password` component), curl might erroneously retain and re-transmit the original hostCVE-2026-94265 · Other software · curl · reported by 2499f714-1537-4658-8207-48ae4bb9eae9Critical 9.1
When processing an HTTP redirect to a URL containing userinfo (a `username:password` component), curl might erroneously retain and re-transmit the original host's HTTP Negotiate authentication state. Consequently, a malicious server can trigger a redirect containing arbitrary userinfo to force curl to send a freshly minted Kerberos ticket—generated using the ambient identity of the client process to an untrusted third-party host, effectively bypassing the domain-scoping restrictions normally enforced by the absence of `--location-trusted`.

OpenClaw (npm package openclaw) before 2026.8.1 could include deterministic hashes computed over the original, unredacted configuration in redacted configuration responses. When the Gateway password had low entropy and the remaining configuration values were reconstructable, these hashes acted as offline password verifiers: a caller able to obtain the redacted configuration (for example via config.get) could test password candidates offline without going through the rate-limited Gateway authentication path. Recovering the password could grant the documented shared-secret operator authority. Secret references were not affected in the same way. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_ct: move custom expectation support to helper Originally, the ct expectation support called nf_ct_helper_ext_add() for confirmed conntracks, which is invalid, triggering a splat. This was fixed by commit 1710eb913bdc ("netfilter: nft_ct: skip expectations for confirmed conntrack") which restricted it to unconfirmed conntracks. However, early insertion of expectations into the expectations list when the conntrack is unconfirmed leads to stale entries pointing to the wrong hlist_head through .pprev due to ct extension reallocation. Commit 7c9664351980 ("netfilter: move nat hlist_head to nf_conn") moved the nat hlist_head to nf_conn for this reason: 1. ... 2. When reallocation of extension area occurs we need to fixup the bysource hash head via hlist_replace_rcu. I'd rather not increase the size of the struct nf_conn for this feature has very limited scope: only one expectation can be created at a time given expect_clash() will make nf_ct_expect_related() reports EBUSY. For this reason, relax nf_ct_expect_related() not to drop packets in case expectation creation fails, therefore

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/uverbs: Add UVERBS_ATTR_UHW to UVERBS_METHOD_REG_MR The original commit missed that three drivers (mthca, irdma, siw) have UHW data associated with reg_mr that cannot be passed through the ioctl. They also assume that the udata cannot be NULL, so failing to pass a valid udata can trigger a NULL udata crash in those drivers. This never happens in real systems since in rdma-core ibv_cmd_reg_mr_ex() does not accept a udata and those three drivers don't use it, however a malicious userspace could trigger it.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: openrisc: Fix jump_label smp syncing The original commit 8c30b0018f9d ("openrisc: Add jump label support") copies from arm64 and does not properly consider how icache invalidation on remote cores works in OpenRISC. On OpenRISC remote icaches need to be invalidated otherwise static key's may remain state after updating. Fix SMP cache syncing by: 1. Properly invalidate remote core icaches on SMP systems by using icache_all_inv. The old code uses kick_all_cpus_sync() which runs a no-op IPI function call on remote CPU's which does execute a lot of code and flushes many cache lines in the process, but does not flush all and it's not correct on OpenRISC. 2. For architectures that do not have WRITETHROUGH caches be sure to flush the dcache after patching. To test this I first reproduced the issue using a custom test module [0]. The test confirmed that some icache lines maintained stale static_key code sequences after calling static_branch_enable(). After this patch there are no longer jump_label coherency issues. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: f2fs: read COW data with the original inode during atomic write When updating an atomic-write file, f2fs_write_begin() may read the previously written data back from the COW inode: prepare_atomic_write_begin() locates the block in the COW inode and sets use_cow, and the read bio is then built with the COW inode: f2fs_submit_page_read(use_cow ? F2FS_I(inode)->cow_inode : inode, ...); and f2fs_grab_read_bio() decides whether to schedule fs-layer decryption (STEP_DECRYPT) for the bio based on that inode via fscrypt_inode_uses_fs_layer_crypto(). However, the folio being filled belongs to the original inode (folio->mapping->host == inode), and the data stored in the COW block was encrypted (or left as plaintext) using the original inode's context, not the COW inode's -- see f2fs_encrypt_one_page(), which keys off fio->page->mapping->host. fscrypt_decrypt_pagecache_blocks() likewise operates on folio->mapping->host. The COW inode is created as a tmpfile in the parent directory and inherits its encryption policy from there. With test_dummy_encryption the newly created COW inode gets the dummy policy and

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/amd: Fix clone_alias() to use the original device's devid Currently clone_alias() assumes first argument (pdev) is always the original device pointer. This function is called by pci_for_each_dma_alias() which based on topology decides to send original or alias device details in first argument. This meant that the source devid used to look up and copy the DTE may be incorrect, leading to wrong or stale DTE entries being propagated to alias device. Fix this by passing the original pdev as the opaque data argument to both the direct clone_alias() call and pci_for_each_dma_alias(). Inside clone_alias(), retrieve the original device from data and compute devid from it.

Nov 10, 2025Pdfminer.six is a community maintained fork of the original PDFMiner, a tool for extracting information from PDF documents.CVE-2025-64512 · Other software · pdfminer · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6
Pdfminer.six is a community maintained fork of the original PDFMiner, a tool for extracting information from PDF documents. Prior to version 20251107, pdfminer.six will execute arbitrary code from a malicious pickle file if provided with a malicious PDF file. The `CMapDB._load_data()` function in pdfminer.six uses `pickle.loads()` to deserialize pickle files. These pickle files are supposed to be part of the pdfminer.six distribution stored in the `cmap/` directory, but a malicious PDF can specify an alternative directory and filename as long as the filename ends in `.pickle.gz`. A malicious, zipped pickle file can then contain code which will automatically execute when the PDF is processed. Version 20251107 fixes the issue.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cnic: Fix use-after-free bugs in cnic_delete_task The original code uses cancel_delayed_work() in cnic_cm_stop_bnx2x_hw(), which does not guarantee that the delayed work item 'delete_task' has fully completed if it was already running. Additionally, the delayed work item is cyclic, the flush_workqueue() in cnic_cm_stop_bnx2x_hw() only blocks and waits for work items that were already queued to the workqueue prior to its invocation. Any work items submitted after flush_workqueue() is called are not included in the set of tasks that the flush operation awaits. This means that after the cyclic work items have finished executing, a delayed work item may still exist in the workqueue. This leads to use-after-free scenarios where the cnic_dev is deallocated by cnic_free_dev(), while delete_task remains active and attempt to dereference cnic_dev in cnic_delete_task(). This is not expected. A malicious or buggy i2c client can hang the kernel in this case and should be avoided. This is observed during a long time test with a PCA953x GPIO extender. Fix it by changing the logic to not only sets the return value, but also jumps out of the loop and return to the caller with -ETIMEDOUT.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: fix overflow in dacloffset bounds check The dacloffset field was originally typed as int and used in an unchecked addition, which could overflow and bypass the existing bounds check in both smb_check_perm_dacl() and smb_inherit_dacl(). This could result in out-of-bounds memory access and a kernel crash when dereferencing the DACL pointer. This patch converts dacloffset to unsigned int and uses check_add_overflow() to validate access to the DACL.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: stmmac: enable all safety features by default In the original implementation of dwmac5 commit 8bf993a5877e ("net: stmmac: Add support for DWMAC5 and implement Safety Features") all safety features were enabled by default. Later it seems some implementations didn't have support for all the features, so in commit 5ac712dcdfef ("net: stmmac: enable platform specific safety features") the safety_feat_cfg structure was added to the callback and defined for some platforms to selectively enable these safety features. The problem is that only certain platforms were given that software support. If the automotive safety package bit is set in the hardware features register the safety feature callback is called for the platform, and for platforms that didn't get a safety_feat_cfg defined this results in the following NULL pointer dereference: [ 7.933303] Call trace: [ 7.935812] dwmac5_safety_feat_config+0x20/0x170 [stmmac] [ 7.941455] __stmmac_open+0x16c/0x474 [stmmac] [ 7.946117] stmmac_open+0x38/0x70 [stmmac] [ 7.950414] __dev_open+0x100/0x1dc [ 7.954006] __dev_change_flags+0x18c/0x204 [ 7

Feb 26, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usbnet: ipheth: use static NDP16 location in URB Original code allowed for the start of NDCVE-2025-21742 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usbnet: ipheth: use static NDP16 location in URB Original code allowed for the start of NDP16 to be anywhere within the URB based on the `wNdpIndex` value in NTH16. Only the start position of NDP16 was checked, so it was possible for even the fixed-length part of NDP16 to extend past the end of URB, leading to an out-of-bounds read. On iOS devices, the NDP16 header always directly follows NTH16. Rely on and check for this specific format. This, along with NCM-specific minimal URB length check that already exists, will ensure that the fixed-length part of NDP16 plus a set amount of DPEs fit within the URB. Note that this commit alone does not fully address the OoB read. The limit on the amount of DPEs needs to be enforced separately.
