  • Sep 26, 2026ClawHub (openclaw/clawhub) contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability in the ClawHub application/backend: an organization-owned skill retains the ownerUsCVE-2026-100604 · Other software · openclaw · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3

ClawHub (openclaw/clawhub) contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability in the ClawHub application/backend: an organization-owned skill retains the ownerUserId of its original publisher, and transfer and lifecycle authorization checks trust that historical user before requiring current organization privileges. An authenticated user who originally published an organization skill can therefore transfer, delete, or restore that skill — taking control of its trusted name and history — even after their organization privileges have been revoked or downgraded. The issue was confirmed at revision cbfee7343ddc867316dd9b3de6fa8856730f9f41; the complete historical affected range was not established. It is fixed by PR #3680, included in revision 8c2de6c506bb4efabe3f0c2ffb8370b9e23d4650, which was deployed to clawhub.ai on 2026-09-11; self-hosted deployments should update to that revision or a later descendant. • Sep 26, 2026ClawHub (openclaw/clawhub) application/backend contains a flaw in the skill report moderation flow: four distinct ordinary authenticated accounts can report a vCVE-2026-100603 · Other software · openclaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

ClawHub (openclaw/clawhub) application/backend contains a flaw in the skill report moderation flow: four distinct ordinary authenticated accounts can report a visible skill and trigger automatic hiding (moderationStatus: hidden) of that skill from the catalog without any moderator decision. Because the reporter quota counts only reports filed against visible targets, the same accounts can repeat the process against additional skills; official skills are not exempt. The issue was confirmed at revision cbfee7343ddc867316dd9b3de6fa8856730f9f41; the complete historical affected range was not established. • Sep 26, 2026ClawHub (openclaw/clawhub application/backend) contains a missing authorization check in the changelog preview feature.CVE-2026-100602 · Other software · openclaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1

ClawHub (openclaw/clawhub application/backend) contains a missing authorization check in the changelog preview feature. A signed-in caller can invoke the public skills:generateChangelogPreview action for a skill they are not authorized to access; the previous version is read without the file-read authorization enforced on normal content access, and up to 8,000 characters of quarantined content may be submitted to the AI provider and reflected in the preview returned to the caller, disclosing restricted skill content. • Sep 26, 2026ClawHub (openclaw/clawhub) application/backend contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the public profile preview's image fetching.CVE-2026-100601 · Other software · openclaw · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9

ClawHub (openclaw/clawhub) application/backend contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the public profile preview's image fetching. The preview accepts a user-supplied image URL and checks the textual hostname against private-address patterns, but does not validate or pin the resolved network destination, so a public-looking hostname can resolve to an internal address or change resolution between validation and connection (DNS rebinding). A maintainer-run local harness demonstrated an outbound connection to an owner-controlled loopback listener; access to production internal services, credential disclosure, and code execution were not demonstrated. The issue was confirmed at revision cbfee7343ddc867316dd9b3de6fa8856730f9f41; the complete historical affected range was not established. • Sep 26, 2026ClawHub (the openclaw/clawhub application/backend) does not bind anonymous HTTP API requests to a trusted caller identity, so all direct anonymous API requests CVE-2026-100600 · Other software · openclaw · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9

ClawHub (the openclaw/clawhub application/backend) does not bind anonymous HTTP API requests to a trusted caller identity, so all direct anonymous API requests share a single default quota allowance. A remote, unauthenticated caller can drain that shared allowance and thereby deny or degrade API access for unrelated visitors. In addition, when the TRUST_FORWARDED_IPS option is enabled without an authenticated edge/proxy, clients can supply arbitrary forwarded IP headers to select quota identities of their choosing and evade rate limiting. The issue was confirmed at revision cbfee7343ddc867316dd9b3de6fa8856730f9f41; the complete historical affected range was not established. It is fixed in revision 8c2de6c506bb4efabe3f0c2ffb8370b9e23d4650 (PR #3684), where direct anonymous calls are redirected to the public API origin without consuming quota and forged identity assertions return HTTP 401. • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw versions 2026.5.1 through 2026.7.0 fail to apply the configured exec approval path to Google Meet node commands.CVE-2026-100599 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

OpenClaw versions 2026.5.1 through 2026.7.0 fail to apply the configured exec approval path to Google Meet node commands. The googlemeet.chrome command accepts caller-supplied audio command arrays and executes them on a paired node without going through the normal system.run approval flow. In deployments with the Google Meet plugin enabled, a paired Chrome node, and the googlemeet.chrome node command allowed, a tool-enabled agent able to invoke that command can execute attacker-selected processes on the paired node, impacting files, credentials, browser profiles, and availability on that node. The issue is fixed in 2026.7.1; as a workaround, remove googlemeet.chrome from allowed node commands or disable the Google Meet plugin.

  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package openclaw) before 2026.7.1 incorrectly binds Signal approval reactions.CVE-2026-100598 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.5

OpenClaw (npm package openclaw) before 2026.7.1 incorrectly binds Signal approval reactions. In affected versions, a reaction intended to resolve a structured approval request could instead attach to ordinary outbound text when unrelated outbound messages and a pending approval are present in the same conversation. As a result, an approver's reaction to unrelated text could be interpreted as approving or denying a pending host action; the practical impact depends on the pending request, conversation timing, and the actions available to the OpenClaw process. The issue does not change the authority of correctly identified approvers. This is fixed in version 2026.7.1.

  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.7.1 is vulnerable to a time-of-check time-of-use race condition in OpenShell local mirror filesystem mutation operCVE-2026-100597 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.8

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.7.1 is vulnerable to a time-of-check time-of-use race condition in OpenShell local mirror filesystem mutation operations. The remove, mkdir, and rename operations could act on a different filesystem target after OpenClaw completed its sandbox path-safety check, if the path is changed concurrently. An attacker able to win the race can cause a sandboxed operation to delete, create, or rename a host path outside the intended mirror root with the permissions of the OpenClaw process user. This does not require an operator to have granted host filesystem access outside the sandbox. The issue is fixed in 2026.7.1.

  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw is an agent gateway distributed via npm.CVE-2026-100592 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3

OpenClaw is an agent gateway distributed via npm. In versions >= 2026.4.10 and < 2026.7.1, persistent memory dreaming mutations omit owner permission checks. An authorized but non-owner external-channel sender can issue the persistent '/dreaming on' and '/dreaming off' commands to enable or disable the Gateway's Memory Core dreaming behavior, disabling background memory processing or re-enabling durable memory promotion where the owner expected it to remain disabled; the practical confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact depends on stored conversation material and subsequent memory use. Read-only status and help commands remain governed by normal command policy. The issue is fixed in version 2026.7.1. As a workaround, disable dreaming commands in external channels or restrict channel command access to owners.

OpenClaw is an npm-distributed agent gateway. In versions before 2026.7.1, the global Active Memory toggle mutations could omit owner checks. An authorized non-owner external-channel sender could therefore persistently enable or disable Active Memory for the Gateway, disabling memory recall for future sessions or re-enabling global recall where the owner expected it to remain disabled. The issue is limited to persistent global on/off mutations; session-level controls and read-only status remain governed by existing command policy. The issue is fixed in version 2026.7.1. • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw is an npm-distributed agent runtime.CVE-2026-100584 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.4

OpenClaw is an npm-distributed agent runtime. In versions >= 2026.2.26 and < 2026.7.1, PowerShell command analysis on Windows hosts running in exec allowlist mode could approve an exact executable resolved from PATH but subsequently execute a same-named executable located in the workspace directory. If lower-trust content can place an executable with an approved basename into an agent-writable workspace and steer an approved PowerShell command that uses a bare executable name, OpenClaw may run the workspace file instead of the allowlisted path, executing arbitrary code with the privileges of the Gateway or node-host user. The issue does not require replacement of the approved executable itself. Version 2026.7.1 contains a fix; as a workaround, avoid bare executable names in approved PowerShell commands and keep executable files out of agent-writable workspaces.

OpenClaw channel plugins (@openclaw/msteams, @openclaw/feishu, @openclaw/matrix, and @openclaw/googlechat) before 2026.8.1 do not enforce the configured channel read allowlist for caller-supplied explicit read targets in message, reaction, pin, member, and related metadata read actions. A lower-trust sender or a steered agent with access to a channel read action can therefore retrieve content or metadata from channels or rooms excluded by the operator's read policy; the practical impact depends on the permissions held by the connected bot account. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1.

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.7.1 improperly handles case sensitivity in the model-facing cron tool: a mixed-case payload kind can pass the agent-facing shell-execution guard and later normalize into a command job. An actor able to steer a tool-enabled agent can therefore create a persistent cron job that executes attacker-selected commands with the privileges of the OpenClaw process user, resulting in access to host files and credentials and impact to scheduled service availability. The issue is limited to cron jobs created or edited through the model-facing cron tool; direct CLI and authorized Gateway scheduling surfaces are trusted operator controls. Fixed in 2026.7.1.

  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.7.1 incorrectly trusts requester provenance in message.action.CVE-2026-100579 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.2

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.7.1 incorrectly trusts requester provenance in message.action. In identity-bearing Gateway deployments (authentication modes that honor caller identity and narrower operator scopes), a write-scoped caller can supply another sender's identifier to the channel authorization checks and invoke a channel action under that spoofed requester identity, reaching operations the channel adapter would have denied to the real caller. Practical impact depends on the enabled channel, the action, and the target account's permissions. Shared-secret token and password callers are full trusted operators under OpenClaw's security model and are out of scope. The issue is fixed in 2026.7.1; as a workaround, restrict message.action to administrators and disable sensitive channel actions that rely on requester identity.

OpenClaw (npm package `openclaw`) before 2026.7.1 fails to restrict owner-only infrastructure tools exposed through the chat.send endpoint. In Gateway deployments using authentication modes that honor caller identity and narrower operator scopes, a write-scoped non-owner caller can start a chat turn whose tool inventory includes the `gateway` and `cron` tools, causing the agent to invoke owner-only configuration or scheduling operations, including persistent state changes. Practical impact depends on the tools selected by the model and the caller's ability to steer the turn. Shared-secret token and password callers are treated as fully trusted operators under OpenClaw's security model and are outside the scope of this issue. The issue is fixed in 2026.7.1; as a workaround, restrict chat.send to administrators in identity-bearing deployments and remove `gateway` and `cron` from affected agent tool policies.

  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.8.1 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in its trusted-host DNS checks.CVE-2026-100574 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.2

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.8.1 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in its trusted-host DNS checks. For fetches that use the trusted-host DNS recheck, a trusted hostname that resolves to an unspecified address (0.0.0.0 or ::) bypasses the SSRF destination validation. An attacker who can influence DNS for an allowed hostname can therefore cause a guarded fetch to reach a service bound only to loopback and disclose its response; the practical impact depends on the reachable service and the data it returns. Fixed in 2026.8.1.

OpenClaw versions >= 2026.3.25 and < 2026.8.1 apply invalid-token rate limiting for Synology Chat webhooks before authentication and key the limit on the raw proxy socket address. In deployments where OpenClaw sits behind a trusted reverse proxy or tunnel and multiple external clients share a single socket address, an unauthenticated sender can exhaust the shared invalid-token budget, causing subsequent legitimate Synology Chat webhook callbacks to be rejected until the rate-limit window expires. • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') versions >= 2026.3.28 and < 2026.8.1 allow an untrusted workspace .env file to set the CLOUDSDK_PYTHON_ARGS environment variabCVE-2026-100570 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.5

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') versions >= 2026.3.28 and < 2026.8.1 allow an untrusted workspace .env file to set the CLOUDSDK_PYTHON_ARGS environment variable. When an operator starts OpenClaw in attacker-controlled workspace content and then runs the Gmail setup flow, that value is inherited when gcloud is launched, and the gcloud launcher passes it as arguments to the trusted Python interpreter. A crafted CLOUDSDK_PYTHON_ARGS value can therefore cause Python to execute attacker-supplied code with the OpenClaw host user's permissions, allowing credentials to be read, files to be modified, or other processes to be started. This issue is fixed in version 2026.8.1; as a workaround, run Gmail setup only from trusted workspaces and clear inherited CLOUDSDK_* variables beforehand.

  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw is an npm-distributed application.CVE-2026-100569 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.8

OpenClaw is an npm-distributed application. In versions >= 2026.4.25 and < 2026.8.1, the workspace environment-variable filter did not block variables ending in `_ENDPOINT`, so an untrusted workspace `.env` file could set AZURE_SPEECH_ENDPOINT. Azure Speech preferred that value over the configured region, so when a synthesis or voice-list request was made, the attacker-selected endpoint received the operator's Azure Speech key in the request header, allowing the key to be reused against the operator's Azure Speech resource. Exploitation requires an operator to start OpenClaw in attacker-controlled workspace content with Azure Speech configured with a key and region and no trusted endpoint override set. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1.

  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw is an agent gateway distributed as the npm package 'openclaw'.CVE-2026-100567 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.9

OpenClaw is an agent gateway distributed as the npm package 'openclaw'. In versions >= 2026.4.5 and < 2026.8.1, the Gateway validated a single DNS resolution result for a configured remote Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP) hostname, but the raw WebSocket and Playwright transports performed a later, independent DNS resolution, discarding the DNS pinning enforced at validation time. An attacker who controls an approved CDP hostname or its DNS answers can exploit this check-then-use gap via DNS rebinding to make the Gateway connect to a loopback, private, link-local, cloud metadata, or other SSRF-policy-denied address. The impact depends on the remote CDP configuration, DNS timing, and the services reachable from the Gateway host. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1; as a mitigation, disable hostname-based remote CDP endpoints or restrict them to trusted, stable infrastructure.
