  • Oct 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vsock: treat TCP_CLOSING as once-established Handle the TCP_ESTABLISHED -> TCP_CLOSING traCVE-2026-99213 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vsock: treat TCP_CLOSING as once-established Handle the TCP_ESTABLISHED -> TCP_CLOSING transition on OP_RST, which can race with the connect loop. Immediately break and return 0 on ESTABLISHED/CLOSING. The return value of connect() should reflect what happened up to the point the connection was established or failed. Events that occur afterwards must not affect it. E.g. even if OP_RW has already set sk_err, connect() should still return 0, not ENOBUFS because of it. Adapt the inaccurate comment above signal_pending(). Resetting a socket that is still present in connected_table can lead to memory corruption. The reporter noted lost transports for in-flight skbs, and I have reproduced crashes caused by re-insertion into connected_table. list_add double add: new=, prev=, next=. kernel BUG at lib/list_debug.c:35! • Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tipc: destroy topsrv workqueues before closing connections tipc_topsrv_stop() closed subscCVE-2026-99054 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tipc: destroy topsrv workqueues before closing connections tipc_topsrv_stop() closed subscriber connections while the topology server's send and receive workqueues were still running. Socket callbacks and subscription events could then queue more work, and in-flight send/recv work could drop the last connection reference during the conn_idr walk. That race produced several teardown failures: refcount_t addition on 0 from conn_get() on a connection whose release was blocked on idr_lock, a subsequent use-after-free in tipc_conn_close(), queue_work() on an already destroyed workqueue from the listener data-ready callback, and an RCU stall in tipc_topsrv_exit_net() while the walk spun under idr_lock. Clear srv->listener under idr_lock so it acts as a shutdown flag, skip queue_work() once it is NULL, destroy the workqueues to flush in-flight work, and only then close the remaining connections. Refuse tipc_conn_lookup() after that flag is cleared, and drop idr_lock when the teardown walk finds no connection, so an in-flight subscription event cannot pin idr_in_use while the walk holds the lock. v3 supersedes the nar

  • Sep 29, 2026An unprivileged, memory-protected ThreadX module can have the kernel read and write memory at addresses of its choosing, in privileged mode, and can use that toCVE-2026-102757 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgHigh 8.5

An unprivileged, memory-protected ThreadX module can have the kernel read and write memory at addresses of its choosing, in privileged mode, and can use that to clear the MPU enable bit and remove its own isolation boundary. The Module Manager decided whether a privileged service could dereference an object address a module named by asking only whether that address fell outside the module. The manager's object pool is outside every module, so the test was satisfied by an address shifted into the interior of one of the module's own privileged allocations, which denotes no object at all. The bytes such an address presents as a control block are bytes the module put there through ordinary create and set services, so the control block ID at the front of them could be made to read as any type the module chose, and the `_txe_` layer's ID test then agreed. The reported chain uses that to reach a privileged `memset` across an attacker-chosen range.

  • Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: power: supply: charger-manager: register regulators before exposing sysfs charger_manager_CVE-2026-89472 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: power: supply: charger-manager: register regulators before exposing sysfs charger_manager_remove() and the err_reg_extcon probe error path free each charger regulator with regulator_put() before tearing down the power_supply sysfs entries (power_supply_unregister()). charger_manager_remove() also calls try_charger_enable(cm, false) after the regulator_put() loop. A concurrent write to a charger's externally_control sysfs attribute that lands between regulator_put() and power_supply_unregister() can run charger_externally_control_store() and call try_charger_enable(), which, when charging is enabled, dereferences the already-freed consumer handle. When charging is enabled, try_charger_enable(cm, false) in .remove() also dereferences the freed handles directly. Both leave use-after-free windows. Symmetrically, probe registers the sysfs entries (power_supply_register) before acquiring the regulators (regulator_get, inside charger_manager_register_extcon), so userspace can reach externally_control before the regulators are available. Split charger_manager_register_extcon() on the sync/async boundary: charger_manager

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/bnxt_re: zero shared page before exposing to userspace bnxt_re_alloc_ucontext() allocates uctx->shpg via __get_free_page(GFP_KERNEL). The buddy allocator does not zero pages without __GFP_ZERO, so the page contains stale kernel data from whatever object most recently freed it. The page is then mapped into userspace via vm_insert_page() under BNXT_RE_MMAP_SH_PAGE in bnxt_re_mmap(). The driver only ever writes 4 bytes (a u32 AVID) at offset BNXT_RE_AVID_OFFT (0x10) inside bnxt_re_create_ah(); the remaining 4092 bytes of the page are exposed to userspace unsanitised, leaking kernel memory contents. Any user with access to /dev/infiniband/uverbsX on a host with a bnxt_re device (typically rdma group membership) can read this data via a single mmap() at pgoff 0 after IB_USER_VERBS_CMD_GET_CONTEXT. Other shared pages in the same file already use get_zeroed_page() correctly: drivers/infiniband/hw/bnxt_re/ib_verbs.c srq->uctx_srq_page = (void *)get_zeroed_page(GFP_KERNEL); cq->uctx_cq_page = (void *)get_zeroed_page(GFP_KERNEL); uctx->shpg is the only outlier. • Jun 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: timer: Forcibly close timer instances at closing When snd_timer object is freed via CVE-2026-53193 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: timer: Forcibly close timer instances at closing When snd_timer object is freed via snd_timer_free() and still pending snd_timer_instance objects are assigned to the timer object, it tries to unlink all instances and just set NULL to each ti->timer, then releases the resources immediately. The problem is, however, when there are slave timer instances that are associated with a master instance linked to this timer: namely, those slave instances still point to the freed timer object although the master instance is unlinked, which may lead to user-after-free. The bug can be easily triggered particularly when a new userspace-driven timers (CONFIG_SND_UTIMER) is involved, since it can create and delete the timer object via a simple file open/close, while the other applications may keep accessing to that timer. This patch is an attempt to paper over the problem above: now instead of just unlinking, call snd_timer_close[_locked]() forcibly for each pending timer instance, so that all assigned slave timer instances are properly detached, too. Since snd_timer_close() might be called later by the driver that crea

  • May 14, 2026Flowsint is an open-source OSINT graph exploration tool designed for cybersecurity investigation, transparency, and verification.CVE-2026-42159 · Other software · reconurge · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Flowsint is an open-source OSINT graph exploration tool designed for cybersecurity investigation, transparency, and verification. Prior to 1.2.3, Flowsint allows a user to create investigations, which are used to manage sketches and analyses. Sketches have controllable graphs, which are comprised of nodes and relationships. The sketches contain information on an OSINT target (usernames, websites, etc) within these nodes and relationships. A remote attacker can create a node with a malicious description that contains arbitrary HTML. When the node is selected, it will render the arbitrary HTML, potentially triggering stored XSS. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.2.3.
