  • Jul 9, 2026gpsd through release-3.27.5, fixed at commit 4c06658, contains a command injection vulnerability in gpsprof that allows attackers who control the GPS device subCVE-2026-58459 · Other software · ntpsec · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.4

gpsd through release-3.27.5, fixed at commit 4c06658, contains a command injection vulnerability in gpsprof that allows attackers who control the GPS device subtype value to execute arbitrary shell commands by embedding backtick payloads in the gnuplot plot title without proper escaping. The subtype field sourced from a DEVICES JSON log entry or NMEA PGRMT sentence is written into a generated gnuplot program via a set title statement with only double-quote characters escaped, enabling arbitrary shell command execution as the user running gnuplot when the victim renders the generated plot through the gpsprof and gnuplot workflow.

  • Jun 8, 2021ntpkeygen can generate keys that ntpd fails to parse.CVE-2021-22212 · Other software · NTPsec · reported by cve@gitlab.comMedium 4

ntpkeygen can generate keys that ntpd fails to parse. NTPsec 1.2.0 allows ntpkeygen to generate keys with '#' characters. ntpd then either pads, shortens the key, or fails to load these keys entirely, depending on the key type and the placement of the '#'. This results in the administrator not being able to use the keys as expected or the keys are shorter than expected and easier to brute-force, possibly resulting in MITM attacks between ntp clients and ntp servers. For short AES128 keys, ntpd generates a warning that it is padding them.

  • Jan 27, 2017ntpd in NTP 4.2.8p3 and NTPsec a5fb34b9cc89b92a8fef2f459004865c93bb7f92 relies on the underlying operating system to protect it from requests that impersonate rCVE-2016-1551 · Other software · NTP Project · reported by cret@cert.orgLow 3.7

ntpd in NTP 4.2.8p3 and NTPsec a5fb34b9cc89b92a8fef2f459004865c93bb7f92 relies on the underlying operating system to protect it from requests that impersonate reference clocks. Because reference clocks are treated like other peers and stored in the same structure, any packet with a source ip address of a reference clock (127.127.1.1 for example) that reaches the receive() function will match that reference clock's peer record and will be treated as a trusted peer. Any system that lacks the typical martian packet filtering which would block these packets is in danger of having its time controlled by an attacker.

  • Jan 6, 2017An off-path attacker can cause a preemptible client association to be demobilized in NTP 4.2.8p4 and earlier and NTPSec a5fb34b9cc89b92a8fef2f459004865c93bb7f92CVE-2016-1547 · Other software · NTP Project · reported by cret@cert.orgMedium 5.3

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
