Sonatype Nexus Repository 3 allows a user account that holds the edit permission on a hosted R repository to store script content in the metadata of an uploaded R package. The script runs in the browser of a user who opens the details of that package in the Browse user interface, with the permissions of the viewing user. In this description, a user account means an account that has supplied valid credentials. The anonymous user, if enabled, is also a user account and can hold this permission if an administrator grants it.

Oct 15, 2026A missing authorization check in Nexus Repository 3's NuGet Components API upload path allows an account holding only repository read and browse privileges to uCVE-2026-97665 · Other software · Sonatype · reported by 103e4ec9-0a87-450b-af77-479448ddef11High 7.1
A missing authorization check in Nexus Repository 3's NuGet Components API upload path allows an account holding only repository read and browse privileges to upload and persist NuGet symbol packages (.snupkg) to a hosted repository, bypassing the write-permission check enforced for ordinary package uploads. Exploitation requires a hosted NuGet repository with Symbol Server enabled. If anonymous access is enabled, the built-in anonymous user holds read and browse privileges across all repositories by default, so this precondition can also be met without an authenticated account.

Sep 4, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: f_tcm: keep port count until LUN teardown completes tcm_usbg_drop_nexus() perCVE-2026-80854 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: f_tcm: keep port count until LUN teardown completes tcm_usbg_drop_nexus() permits session removal once tpg_port_count reaches zero. However, usbg_port_unlink() currently decrements that count from the fabric_pre_unlink() callback, before core_dev_del_lun() waits for active se_lun references to drain. If removal of the last LUN races a nexus removal, the latter can observe a zero port count and call target_remove_session(). This frees sess_cmd_map while an in-flight struct usbg_cmd, including its work item, can still be accessed. Overlapping the last-LUN unlink with nexus removal reproduces this lifetime violation as a DEBUG_OBJECTS "free active" warning for usbg_cmd_work, followed by a target-core BUG/Oops. The generic target-core unlink path has no callback after core_dev_del_lun() completes. Add an optional fabric_post_unlink() callback and use it for the f_tcm port count. The count now remains nonzero until core_dev_del_lun() has finished draining active LUN references, preventing nexus removal from freeing the session during command completion.

Sep 2, 2026A vulnerability was identified in Sonatype Nexus Repository 3 in which two blobstore group management REST API endpoints did not correctly enforce the intended CVE-2026-77125 · Other software · Sonatype · reported by 103e4ec9-0a87-450b-af77-479448ddef11High 7.1
A vulnerability was identified in Sonatype Nexus Repository 3 in which two blobstore group management REST API endpoints did not correctly enforce the intended authorization check. A user granted only the nexus:blobstores:create permission could invoke these endpoints to convert an existing blobstore into a group blobstore, an action that should require the nexus:blobstores:update permission instead. This could result in unauthorized modification of blobstore configuration without administrator approval. The nexus:blobstores:create permission is a named permission that must be explicitly granted by an administrator; it is not held by default.

An authorization flaw in the REST API repository details endpoint (GET /service/rest/v1/repositories/{repositoryName}) in Sonatype Nexus Repository 3 allowed an account holding read or browse permission on a group repository to retrieve metadata for member repositories on which it held no direct permission, by requesting the endpoint directly for the member repository name. Aug 7, 2026Sonatype Nexus Repository 3 did not immediately terminate a user's active login session or revoke their cached permissions when that user's account was deleted,CVE-2026-17600 · Other software · Sonatype · reported by 103e4ec9-0a87-450b-af77-479448ddef11High 8.7
Sonatype Nexus Repository 3 did not immediately terminate a user's active login session or revoke their cached permissions when that user's account was deleted, deactivated, or had its password changed. A user whose account was already logged in at the time of one of these actions could continue using their existing session to interact with the repository as though the account were still active, until that session independently expired. Depending on the permissions previously held, this could allow continued unauthorized access to read, modify, or delete repository content after access was intended to be revoked.

Differences in the server's response could be used to infer whether internal hosts and ports are reachable. This issue affects Nexus Repository 3 CE/Pro versions up to and including 3.94.1, and is fixed in version 3.95.0.

Aug 7, 2026Nexus Repository 3 did not fully sandbox JEXL expressions used in Content Selectors.CVE-2026-17595 · Other software · Sonatype · reported by 103e4ec9-0a87-450b-af77-479448ddef11Medium 5.3
Nexus Repository 3 did not fully sandbox JEXL expressions used in Content Selectors. An account holding the nexus:selectors:create permission could construct an expression that read Java object properties not intended to be exposed to the expression engine, disclosing internal JVM class metadata such as class and classloader names. This issue does not permit method invocation, object construction, or arbitrary code execution. This has been fixed by restricting property access in the JEXL sandbox to the intended data types.

Aug 7, 2026Nexus Repository 3 CE/Pro versions 3.0.0 through 3.94.x contain an incorrect authorization vulnerability (CWE-863) in the repository-creation user interface.CVE-2026-17594 · Other software · Sonatype · reported by 103e4ec9-0a87-450b-af77-479448ddef11High 8.2
Nexus Repository 3 CE/Pro versions 3.0.0 through 3.94.x contain an incorrect authorization vulnerability (CWE-863) in the repository-creation user interface. An individual user account holding a delegated repository-admin privilege scoped to a specific repository format could create a repository of a different, unauthorized format, because authorization was checked against one request field while a separate, attacker-controlled field determined the repository format actually created. This does not affect the anonymous user, which cannot hold this privilege by default. Fixed in version 3.95.0.

An account holding the nexus:settings:update permission in Nexus Repository 3 (or the equivalent nexus:settings permission in the legacy Nexus Repository 2) could submit arbitrary values as realm identifiers through an internal configuration API that did not validate them against the set of registered realms. Because unrecognized entries were persisted and re-evaluated on every realm load via a legacy code path, this could result in unintended code executing inside the Nexus Repository process, and in some cases a persistent authentication lockout that was not visible through the administrative UI.

Jul 28, 2026Pagy is agnostic pagination in plain Ruby.CVE-2026-54659 · Other software · ddnexus · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
Pagy is agnostic pagination in plain Ruby. From 43.0.0 until 43.5.6, Pagy::I18n.locale= in gem/lib/pagy/modules/i18n/i18n.rb stored locale values verbatim and later used them as <locale>.yml path components, allowing untrusted params[:locale] values with absolute paths or ../ sequences to create a file existence and readability oracle for YAML files. Nexus Repository 3 does not validate the destination of the "Webhook: Global" capability's configured URL before making an outbound HTTP request, allowing a user holding the Capability Administration permission to cause the server to send requests to internal network locations (Server-Side Request Forgery). May 20, 2026A vulnerability in the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) enforce-first-as feature of Cisco Nexus 3000 Series Switches and Cisco Nexus 9000 Series SwitchesCVE-2026-20171 · Network & remote access · Cisco · reported by psirt@cisco.comMedium 6.8
A vulnerability in the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) enforce-first-as feature of Cisco Nexus 3000 Series Switches and Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches in standalone NX-OS mode could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to trigger BGP peer flaps, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. This vulnerability is due to incorrect parsing of a transitive BGP attribute. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted BGP update through an established BGP peer session. If the update propagates to an affected device, it could cause the device to drop the BGP session and flap with the BGP peer that is forwarding this update, resulting in a DoS condition.

May 8, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: f_tcm: Fix NULL pointer dereferences in nexus handling The `tpg->tpg_nexus` pCVE-2026-43424 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: f_tcm: Fix NULL pointer dereferences in nexus handling The `tpg->tpg_nexus` pointer in the USB Target driver is dynamically managed and tied to userspace configuration via ConfigFS. It can be NULL if the USB host sends requests before the nexus is fully established or immediately after it is dropped. Currently, functions like `bot_submit_command()` and the data transfer paths retrieve `tv_nexus = tpg->tpg_nexus` and immediately dereference `tv_nexus->tvn_se_sess` without any validation. If a malicious or misconfigured USB host sends a BOT (Bulk-Only Transport) command during this race window, it triggers a NULL pointer dereference, leading to a kernel panic (local DoS). This exposes an inconsistent API usage within the module, as peer functions like `usbg_submit_command()` and `bot_send_bad_response()` correctly implement a NULL check for `tv_nexus` before proceeding. Fix this by bringing consistency to the nexus handling. Add the missing `if (!tv_nexus)` checks to the vulnerable BOT command and request processing paths, aborting the command gracefully with an error instead of crashing the system.
