  • Oct 27, 2026The Model Context Protocol Python SDK is the official Python SDK for Model Context Protocol servers and clients.CVE-2026-116686 · Other software · modelcontextprotocol · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

The Model Context Protocol Python SDK is the official Python SDK for Model Context Protocol servers and clients. From 1.10.0 until 1.30.0 and 2.2.0, ClientSession, ClientSessionGroup, and Client tool calls validate server-declared outputSchema documents with jsonschema's default resolver, causing an unresolved $ref value to fetch an HTTP, HTTPS, or file URL from the client's network and filesystem context. A server can trigger blind requests or local-file reads and can stall every session in the process because resolution runs synchronously on the event loop without a timeout. This issue is fixed in versions 1.30.0 and 2.2.0.

  • Oct 27, 2026The Model Context Protocol Python SDK is the official Python SDK for Model Context Protocol servers and clients.CVE-2026-116685 · Other software · modelcontextprotocol · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

The Model Context Protocol Python SDK is the official Python SDK for Model Context Protocol servers and clients. From 1.8.0 until 1.30.0 and 2.2.0, streamable_http_client, streamablehttp_client, sse_client, ClientSessionGroup, OAuth, and create_mcp_http_client client paths enable follow_redirects and follow redirects to a different origin, forwarding caller-supplied custom credential headers and, for 307 or 308 responses, the request body. An attacker who can influence a trusted endpoint's redirect destination can receive that material. This issue is fixed in versions 1.30.0 and 2.2.0.

  • Oct 27, 2026The Model Context Protocol Python SDK is the official Python SDK for Model Context Protocol servers and clients.CVE-2026-116684 · Other software · modelcontextprotocol · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8

The Model Context Protocol Python SDK is the official Python SDK for Model Context Protocol servers and clients. From 1.10.0 until 1.30.0 and 2.2.0, server-side bearer authentication configured through AuthSettings with token_verifier accepts a valid token issued for another service when the authorization server serves multiple resources and the TokenVerifier does not independently validate the aud audience. This resource-confusion flaw lets a token holder authenticate to the wrong MCP server and exercise that token's resulting access. This issue is fixed in versions 1.30.0 and 2.2.0.

  • Oct 23, 2026obsidian-tc is a governed, agent-ready Model Context Protocol server for Obsidian vaults.CVE-2026-115478 · Other software · The-40-Thieves · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

obsidian-tc is a governed, agent-ready Model Context Protocol server for Obsidian vaults. From 1.0.1 until 1.31.4, `create_entity`, `link_entities`, `rename_entity`, `unlink_entities` and `delete_entity` regenerate memory notes from SQLite at the computed `memory/<type>/<name>.md` path without reliably preserving note ownership or the consistency of a failed lifecycle operation. During shared materialization, a hand-authored note or an orphan left by a different entity whose name sanitized to the same path could have its entire body overwritten on the next write naming that type and name, with non-owned frontmatter preserved. `rename_entity` also seeded the destination path with a direct atomic write without validating ownership and could overwrite a foreign note there. Separately, several tools mutated SQLite before fallible filesystem work: `create_entity` and `link_entities` inserted the row or relation before materialization; `rename_entity` updated the entity, including a retired status, before updating its note; `unlink_entities` removed a relation before rematerializing the source note; and `delete_entity`'s cascade removed the target and its relations before rematerializing

obsidian-tc is a governed, agent-ready Model Context Protocol server for Obsidian vaults. From 1.13.0 until 1.31.4, on a Streamable HTTP deployment with `auth.jwtSecret` configured and a 2026-07-28-era client declaring `elicitation.form` support, a dispatch-gated tool call offered an `inputRequired` confirmation could still complete after the human declined or cancelled, or the elicitation response was omitted or malformed, provided the client echoed the validly bound `requestState` on resubmission. The server trusted an authentic, call-bound state as proof of approval even though that state was minted before the `elicitation/create` leg was asked and proved only that the resubmission belonged to the same call. A client behaving incorrectly or under an attacker's control could therefore execute dispatch-gated destructive vault operations without the human's approval, while still requiring the caller's ordinary tool permissions. Only tools marked `destructive: true` or requiring a scope with a human-in-the-loop floor were reachable through this bypass. The sixteen handler-side conditionally gated tools, including `write_note` overwrite and `move_note`, did not read elicitation state

  • Oct 21, 2026D365 F&O MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol server for querying Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations X++ code and metadata.CVE-2026-114123 · Other software · dynamics365ninja · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

D365 F&O MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol server for querying Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations X++ code and metadata. Prior to version 1.11.0, the officially documented Azure one-click deployment uses infrastructure/azuredeploy.json and infrastructure/main.bicep to default the apiKey parameter to an empty string and pass it to the App Service API_KEY setting. With API_KEY unset or empty, src/middleware/apiKeyAuth.ts passes requests through without authentication, while src/index.ts binds the HTTP listener to 0.0.0.0 by default. If the deployer leaves the optional key blank and does not add separate network restrictions or upstream authentication, the resulting public App Service allows unauthenticated JSON-RPC tools/call requests to /mcp. The deployment's MCP_SERVER_MODE=read-only setting does not prevent anonymous access to read/search tools, including search, get_object_info, batch_get_info, extension_info, security_info, find_references, and find_event_handlers, exposing indexed proprietary X++ source snippets and metadata. Exposed information can include business logic, extension and event-handler wiring, security-role and privilege structure, and labels originally index

  • Oct 14, 2026The Model Context Protocol Python SDK is the official Python SDK for Model Context Protocol servers and clients.CVE-2026-109527 · Other software · modelcontextprotocol · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

The Model Context Protocol Python SDK is the official Python SDK for Model Context Protocol servers and clients. In mcp versions before 1.29.1 and from 2.0.0a1 through 2.0.1, the Streamable HTTP session manager, SSE message endpoint, and OAuth authorization-server routes buffer complete HTTP request bodies without enforcing a maximum size. An unauthenticated remote client able to reach an affected endpoint can send a large declared or streamed request body that consumes multiple times the body size in process memory and can repeatedly exhaust memory or terminate the server. Stdio-only servers and deployments with an effective upstream request-size limit are not affected, and applications that use StreamableHTTPServerTransport directly remain responsible for enforcing their own limit. The standard SDK server applications and session managers are fixed in versions 1.29.1 and 2.1.0.

  • Oct 14, 2026The Model Context Protocol Java SDK is the official Java SDK for Model Context Protocol servers and clients.CVE-2026-108395 · Other software · modelcontextprotocol · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

The Model Context Protocol Java SDK is the official Java SDK for Model Context Protocol servers and clients. From version 0.8.0 through 0.12.0 in the io.modelcontextprotocol.sdk:mcp artifact, from 0.13.0 through 0.18.3 and 1.0.0 through 1.1.3 in io.modelcontextprotocol.sdk:mcp-core, and from mcp-core 2.0.0-M1 through 2.0.0, the Servlet-based SSE, Streamable HTTP, and Stateless server transports read an HTTP request body into memory without enforcing a maximum size. An unauthenticated remote client able to reach an affected transport can stream an arbitrarily large POST body, including with chunked transfer encoding, until the Java process exhausts its heap and becomes unavailable. Authentication, Origin or Host validation, or an upstream request-size limit can reject the request before the vulnerable read. The maintained mcp-core lines are fixed in versions 0.18.4, 1.1.4, and 2.0.1.

  • Oct 14, 2026The MCP Python SDK, called mcp on PyPI, is a Python implementation of the Model Context Protocol (MCP).CVE-2026-59951 · Other software · modelcontextprotocol · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9

The MCP Python SDK, called mcp on PyPI, is a Python implementation of the Model Context Protocol (MCP). From 1.8.0 until 1.30.0 and 2.2.0, stateful Streamable HTTP servers, including FastMCP, MCPServer, Server.streamable_http_app(), and StreamableHTTPSessionManager, retain session entries without an idle expiration or aggregate session-count limit. DELETE, refused opening requests, and completed sessions do not reliably discard their entries, and each entry can retain parsed initialize parameters. A client that can reach the endpoint can therefore create ordinary short requests that grow server memory without bound until restart. Stateless HTTP, stdio, and SSE transports are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 1.30.0 and 2.2.0.

  • Oct 13, 2026obsidian-tc is a governed, agent-ready Model Context Protocol server for Obsidian vaults.CVE-2026-77362 · Other software · The-40-Thieves · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3

obsidian-tc is a governed, agent-ready Model Context Protocol server for Obsidian vaults. Prior to 1.3.1, bridge tools do not consistently apply the read access-control list (ACL) to every returned field. The tasks_filter tool exposes group counts derived from denied notes, makemd_query passes unfiltered sibling result fields through, and list_templates exposes template paths and parsed user-function bodies without a read-whitelist check. An authenticated caller can consequently infer or read data from notes outside the caller's read ACL. Version 1.3.1 fixes the vulnerability by filtering path-attributable fields and applying the read whitelist to list_templates.

obsidian-tc is a governed, agent-ready Model Context Protocol server for Obsidian vaults. Prior to 1.3.1, read access-control list (ACL) checks use a lexical vault-relative path while containment checks use the resolved path. An in-vault symlink under an allowed glob that resolves into a denied folder can therefore bypass the read ACL and expose files in the denied folder. Exploitation requires an out-of-band-planted symlink and does not permit an escape from the vault root. Version 1.3.1 fixes the vulnerability by applying ACL checks to the resolved vault-relative path.

obsidian-tc is a governed, agent-ready Model Context Protocol server for Obsidian vaults. Prior to 1.3.1, tool dispatch does not compare the caller-controlled input.vault value with the vault bound to the caller, the JSON Web Token (JWT) has no vault claim, and the folder access-control list is shared globally. Any valid token can therefore select another configured vault and read, write, or delete its contents through affected tools. Version 1.3.1 fixes the vulnerability by binding tokens and request context to a vault and rejecting mismatched input.vault values before scope checks.

obsidian-tc is a governed, agent-ready Model Context Protocol server for Obsidian vaults. Prior to 1.3.1, undefined readPaths and writePaths settings allow all paths, strictReadDefault does not protect direct requests, and the .obsidian, .git, and .trash control directories are excluded only during enumeration. An authenticated caller can directly read sensitive files such as .obsidian/plugins/*/data.json, potentially exposing plugin API keys, Obsidian Sync passwords, and other in-vault data. Version 1.3.1 fixes the vulnerability by denying the control directories by default and enforcing strictReadDefault on direct request paths.

obsidian-tc is a governed, agent-ready Model Context Protocol server for Obsidian vaults. Prior to 1.3.1, the Streamable HTTP transport does not validate the Host or Origin header or enable DNS-rebinding protection. x64dbg-MCP Server is a native Model Context Protocol (MCP) plugin for x64dbg that exposes the debugger's full functionality over HTTP. Prior to 1.2, src/core/mcp_server.zig parses an unbounded Content-Length value in parseContentLength() and uses it in unchecked usize addition in wsRecv() before token authentication. The server listens on 0.0.0.0 by default in affected versions. An unauthenticated network client can supply a near-maximum Content-Length value to trigger a runtime integer-overflow panic in Debug and ReleaseSafe builds, terminating the entire x64dbg process and its live debugging session. The overflowed value is used only in a comparison, so the impact is limited to denial of service rather than memory corruption or code execution. This issue is fixed in version 1.2.

MCP TypeScript SDK is the official TypeScript SDK for Model Context Protocol servers and clients. Starting in version 1.12.0 and prior to versions 1.31.0 and 2.2.0, the SDK's OAuth client support let the MCP server a client connected to decide which authorization server received the client's OAuth credentials. Stored and pre-provisioned credentials were not bound to the authorization server they belong to. A malicious or compromised MCP server could name its own authorization server in its protected resource metadata. Without any user interaction, the client would send that server the `refresh_token` and `client_secret` stored from an earlier sign-in (1.x), or the configured `client_secret` or signed assertion of a bundled non-interactive provider (1.x and 2.x). Only those applications that use the SDK as an MCP client over HTTP with an `authProvider`: your own `OAuthClientProvider`, or the bundled `ClientCredentialsProvider`, `PrivateKeyJwtProvider`, `StaticPrivateKeyJwtProvider` or (2.x) `CrossAppAccessProvider` and that may connect to an MCP server the owners does not fully trust while holding credentials for a legitimate authorization server are affected. `@modelcontextprotocol

The advisory traces the vulnerable input and processing flow through streamable-http, UserTokenMiddleware, _get_fetcher, and global credentials, which identify the affected entry points, controls, and code paths. This issue is fixed in version 0.22.0.

MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). Prior to 0.22.0, Jira and Confluence attachment upload tools accept arbitrary local filesystem paths and send the selected bytes to Atlassian. In HTTP or multi-user deployments, a caller can cross the client-to-server filesystem boundary and disclose configuration, credentials, mounted secrets, or other files readable by the MCP process. The advisory traces the vulnerable input and processing flow through jira_upload_attachment, confluence_upload_attachment, file_path, and server-local filesystem, which identify the affected entry points, controls, and code paths. MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). Prior to 0.22.0, an HTTP transport deployment with READ_ONLY_MODE=false accepts a request without an Authorization identity and permits attacker-controlled Atlassian service headers, including X-Atlassian-Confluence-Url, to select a public attacker hostname or one allowed by MCP_ALLOWED_URL_DOMAINS. ToolHive is a utility designed to simplify the deployment and management of Model Context Protocol servers. Prior to ToolHive CLI 0.30.1 and ToolHive Studio 0.38.0, locally run MCP server containers use the default network permission profile without network isolation, permitting access to host.docker.internal while ToolHive API and MCP proxy endpoints are reachable without authentication.
