Oct 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf: Fix perf_pmu_migrate_context() leaving events behind __perf_pmu_remove() walks the gCVE-2026-99187 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf: Fix perf_pmu_migrate_context() leaving events behind __perf_pmu_remove() walks the group leaders of a CPU and PMU with perf_event_groups_for_cpu_pmu(), removing each one as it goes. perf_remove_from_context() takes the leader out of the groups rbtree, after which rb_next() on that node returns NULL, prematurely ending the walk. Other groups stay behind in the source context. On CPU hotplug, they are then torn down with the dying CPU. They keep running until teardown, while the PMU's interrupt and migrated events are on a new CPU, which drivers rely on never happening. Walk ctx->event_list instead and pick out the PMU's events by their pmu_ctx.

Oct 16, 2026Backuply – Backup, Restore, Migrate and Clone: SQL InjectionCVE-2026-93953 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8
The Backuply – Backup, Restore, Migrate and Clone plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the Biographical Info field (second-order, via restore) in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.8 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and the lack of sufficient preparation on an existing SQL query. Backuply exports the Biographical Info value verbatim inside an INSERT statement written to the backup's SQL dump (wp_usermeta). When an Administrator later restores such a backup, the crafted payload breaks out of that INSERT statement and appends attacker-controlled SQL that executes with full database privileges. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to write arbitrary data to the database — in particular to update the default_role option in wp_options to administrator (and enable open user registration) — so that a subsequently registered account is automatically granted the Administrator role, resulting in privilege escalation and full site takeover. Because the injection executes inside an INSERT during restore with no response returned to the attacker, the primitive is used to modify database reco

Gitea validated the initial remote URL for push mirrors, wiki remote checks, and fetches of migrated pull request heads, but the subsequent raw Git operations followed HTTP redirects without revalidating the destination. A repository administrator using a policy-allowed endpoint that redirects could make Gitea's Git client send requests to an address that the outbound host policy would otherwise block. The impact depends on the configured policy and the internal services reachable from the server.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/pagemap: Prevent double migration of device pages A device-private folio migrated to sCVE-2026-98106 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/pagemap: Prevent double migration of device pages A device-private folio migrated to system memory by a CPU fault can remain reachable through the raw-PFN eviction path until migration finalization drops the source reference. If eviction selects the same device-private folio during this window, it can attempt to migrate the folio again. The second migration can leave an uncharged folio on an LRU list, causing folio_lruvec_lock_irqsave() to retry indefinitely and resulting in a soft lockup and RCU stall. Mark successfully migrated device-private folios using a low bit of their zone_device_data before migration finalization. Make both CPU-fault and raw-PFN migration paths skip device-private folios carrying this flag. Mask the flag when retrieving the drm_pagemap_zdd pointer and preserve it when a device-private folio is split. Keeping the state on the physical folio also avoids depending on a virtual address that may change before a fault occurs. v2: - Replace the retired-PFN XArray with an embedded bitmap. (Matthew Brost) - Mark every base page covered by a migrated folio so retirement remains valid if

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/rt,dl: Skip migrate-disabled tasks when picking a push candidate A migrate_disable()CVE-2026-98087 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/rt,dl: Skip migrate-disabled tasks when picking a push candidate A migrate_disable()'d RT task cannot be moved to another CPU, but the scheduler still keeps such a task on that CPU's pushable list (rq->rt.pushable_tasks) and still marks the runqueue RT-overloaded (rq->rt.overloaded = 1). So the RT balancer keeps treating this CPU as having a task to move away, and keeps trying to move the task, but the push can never succeed. When the head is pinned, push_rt_task() does not give up either. It falls back to pushing rq->curr instead, using the per-CPU stopper, as added by commit a7c81556ec4d ("sched: Fix migrate_disable() vs rt/dl balancing"). The CPU spends tens of milliseconds in this retry loop. The core is isolated for real-time work, but during the loop nearly half of its time is consumed by pushes that cannot succeed. An ftrace capture of the affected CPU, with sched_switch enabled and commit 94894c9c477e ("sched/rt: Skip currently executing CPU in rto_next_cpu()") applied, shows where the CPU time went. Two SCHED_FIFO tasks at equal priority shared the CPU, taskA migrate_disable()'d and queued, taskB

Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/pagemap: dma-unmap pages before handling migration errors drm_pagemap_migrate_unmap_paCVE-2026-93284 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/pagemap: dma-unmap pages before handling migration errors drm_pagemap_migrate_unmap_pages() relies on the pages array to determine which pages require DMA unmapping. However, drm_pagemap_migration_unlock_put_pages() clears the array as part of its cleanup, leaving drm_pagemap_migrate_unmap_pages() with no valid page information if it is called afterward. Call drm_pagemap_migrate_unmap_pages() before drm_pagemap_migration_unlock_put_pages() so the pages array remains valid during DMA unmapping.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/migrate_device: avoid out-of-bounds writes for compound folios migrate_device_range() and migrate_device_pfns() clear the entries following a compound folio so that the PFN arrays retain their page-granular representation. If a compound folio extends beyond the end of the caller-provided range, the loops clear all following folio entries without limiting them to the number of slots remaining in the npages-sized array, causing an out-of-bounds write. Do not proceed with a compound folio if its page-granular representation does not fit entirely in the remaining PFN array. If this happens, drop any reference and lock acquired for the folio, clear the remaining entries, and stop collecting. Observed with a KASAN x86 QEMU kernel using the HMM migrate_anon_huge_zero selftest. Closing /dev/hmm_dmirror0 after migrating an anonymous huge page to device memory exercises: dmirror_fops_release() -> dmirror_device_evict_chunk() -> migrate_device_range()

Sep 16, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: f2fs: fix to migrate all curseg types during free_segment_range In free_segment_range(), tCVE-2026-89834 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: f2fs: fix to migrate all curseg types during free_segment_range In free_segment_range(), the curseg evacuation loop only iterates up to NR_CURSEG_PERSIST_TYPE (0..5), missing non-persistent in-memory curseg types such as CURSEG_COLD_DATA_PINNED and CURSEG_ALL_DATA_ATGC. Even though these in-memory curseg types are not saved in the on-disk checkpoint header, they still occupy active physical segments at runtime. If an active in-memory curseg happens to be allocated within the segment range being truncated during filesystem shrink, failing to evacuate it will cause subsequent writes to the curseg attempting out-of-bounds I/O on the truncated storage range. Fix this by expanding the curseg evacuation loop upper bound to NR_CURSEG_TYPE to ensure all active curseg types are safely migrated out of the target range.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/pagemap: Fix folio allocation fallback and use-after-put drm_pagemap_migrate_populate_ram_pfn() had two issues when populating RAM PFNs with higher-order folios: 1. The higher-order vma_alloc_folio()/folio_alloc() calls did not pass __GFP_NOWARN, so a THP allocation failure under memory pressure would spam the kernel log, and there was no fallback path despite a TODO comment stating one was needed. Add __GFP_NOWARN to the higher-order allocation and, on failure, fall back to order-0 allocations for the entire range originally covered by the failed higher-order allocation, leaving MIGRATE_PFN_COMPOUND unset for those PFNs. 2. In the free_pages error path, order was computed via folio_order(page_folio(page)) *after* put_page(page) had already dropped the reference, resulting in a use-after-free/put when that was the last reference on the page. Compute order before releasing the page. Introducing the fallback in 1. also requires the source page array handed to ->copy_to_ram() to be built differently. Both callers only populated the entry at the head of each source folio, relyi

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/migrate: report RCU-tasks quiescent states in migrate_pages_batch() migrate_pages_batch() unmaps each folio before moving it, and every unmap runs the mmu_notifier invalidate callbacks. On KVM hosts try_to_migrate() ends up in kvm_mmu_notifier_invalidate_range_start() -> tdp_mmu_zap_leafs(), which is expensive, so unmapping a large batch keeps the CPU busy for a long time. The loop already calls cond_resched(), but on PREEMPTION kernels that is a no-op, and involuntary preemption is not a Tasks-RCU quiescent state. A long batch therefore never reports a quiescent state, and the migrating task (e.g. kcompactd) becomes a Tasks-RCU holdout, stalling the Tasks-RCU grace period for minutes, which is common at Meta fleet: INFO: rcu_tasks detected stalls on tasks: 0000000055349ecc: .. nvcsw: 1157401/1157401 holdout: 1 idle_cpu: -1/56 task:kcompactd0 state:R running task Call Trace: tdp_mmu_zap_leafs tdp_mmu_next_root gfn_to_pfn_cache_invalidate_start kvm_mmu_notifier_invalidate_range_start __mmu_notifier_invalidate_range_start try_to_migrate_one try_to_migrate migrate_pages_bat

Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/migrate_device: clear stale mapping after freeing swapcache __migrate_device_pages() reCVE-2026-89755 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/migrate_device: clear stale mapping after freeing swapcache __migrate_device_pages() reads the folio mapping before calling folio_free_swap(). When folio_free_swap() succeeds, the folio is removed from the swap cache, but the saved mapping still points to swap_space. Passing the stale mapping to folio_migrate_mapping() makes it use the mapped-folio path for a folio that is no longer in swapcache. It can then operate on swap_space.i_pages with invalid reference accounting, eventually triggering a folio reference count BUG. After a successful split, nr still contains the number of pages in the original large folio, although each resulting page is now a separate order-0 folio. Reset nr to 1 so each split folio is processed separately, including its own swapcache removal and mapping lookup. Refresh the saved mapping after folio_free_swap() so the current folio state is used during migration.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: bound namelen in dlm_migrate_request_handler Patch series "ocfs2/dlm: bound peer-controlled lengths in the o2dlm". The o2dlm receive handlers trust u8 length and count fields from the wire without bounding them, so a node in a DLM domain can corrupt or panic any other node with a malformed message. Three defects: - dlm_migrate_request_handler() passes migrate->namelen unchecked to dlm_init_mle(), which memcpy()s it into the 32-byte mname[] of an o2dlm_mle slab object: a heap out-of-bounds write of up to ~215 attacker-controlled bytes. - dlm_mig_lockres_handler() passes mres->lockname_len unchecked to dlm_init_lockres(), which memcpy()s it into the 32-byte o2dlm_lockname slab object: a heap out-of-bounds write of up to ~223 bytes. - the same handler trusts mres->num_locks without checking that the message is large enough to hold that many entries, so dlm_process_recovery_data() walks mres->ml[] past the kmalloc(data_len) copy and trips a BUG_ON (an out-of-bounds read ending in a panic). The other o2dlm receive handlers already reject an oversized name; the migrati

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/ops-common: putback folios on invalid migrate nid damon_pa_migrate() and damos_va_migrate() isolate folios into a local list and then call damon_migrate_pages(). When target_nid is invalid (including the scheme default NUMA_NO_NODE / -1), damon_migrate_pages() returns early without putting the folios back to the LRU. Callers then discard the list head while those folios remain isolated with an extra reference taken by folio_isolate_lru(). The pages stay off the LRU for as long as the mapping exists (anon active+inactive counts drop while RSS does not), and the leftover references can pin the pages after the mapping is gone. Put the folios back on the invalid-nid path so ignored migration requests still return them to the LRU.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: route MIGRATE notifications to caller's netns xfrm_send_migrate() in net/xfrm/xfrm_user.c and pfkey_send_migrate() in net/key/af_key.c both hardcode &init_net for the multicast that announces a successful XFRM_MSG_MIGRATE / SADB_X_MIGRATE. XFRM_MSG_MIGRATE arrives on a per-netns NETLINK_XFRM socket, and the rest of the xfrm/af_key netlink path was made netns-aware in 2008. The other 14 multicast paths in xfrm_user.c route their event using xs_net(x), xp_net(xp) or sock_net(skb->sk); only the migrate path was missed. Two consequences of the init_net hardcoding: 1. The notification (selector, old/new endpoint addresses, and the km_address) is delivered to listeners on init_net's XFRMNLGRP_MIGRATE / pfkey BROADCAST_ALL groups rather than on the issuing netns. An IKE daemon running in init_net therefore receives migration notifications originating from any other netns on the host. 2. An IKE daemon running inside a non-init netns and subscribed to its own XFRMNLGRP_MIGRATE / pfkey groups never receives the notification of its own migration. IKEv2 MOBIKE / address-update

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm: fix deferred split queue races during migration migrate_folio_move() records the deferred split queue state from src and replays it on dst. Replaying it after remove_migration_ptes(src, dst, 0) makes dst visible before it is requeued, so a concurrent rmap-removal path can mark dst partially mapped and trip the WARN in deferred_split_folio(). Move the requeue before remove_migration_ptes() so dst is back on the deferred split queue before it becomes visible again. Because migration still holds dst locked at that point, teach deferred_split_scan() to requeue a folio when folio_trylock() fails. Otherwise a fully mapped underused folio can be dequeued by the shrinker and silently lost from split_queue. [ziy@nvidia.com: move the comment]

May 27, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tcp: call sk_data_ready() after listener migration When inet_csk_listen_stop() migrates anCVE-2026-46015 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tcp: call sk_data_ready() after listener migration When inet_csk_listen_stop() migrates an established child socket from a closing listener to another socket in the same SO_REUSEPORT group, the target listener gets a new accept-queue entry via inet_csk_reqsk_queue_add(), but that path never notifies the target listener's waiters. A nonblocking accept() still works because it checks the queue directly, but poll()/epoll_wait() waiters and blocking accept() callers can also remain asleep indefinitely. Call READ_ONCE(nsk->sk_data_ready)(nsk) after a successful migration in inet_csk_listen_stop(). However, after inet_csk_reqsk_queue_add() succeeds, the ref acquired in reuseport_migrate_sock() is effectively transferred to nreq->rsk_listener. Another CPU can then dequeue nreq via accept() or listener shutdown, hit reqsk_put(), and drop that listener ref. Since listeners are SOCK_RCU_FREE, wrap the post-queue_add() dereferences of nsk in rcu_read_lock()/rcu_read_unlock(), which also covers the existing sock_net(nsk) access in that path. The reqsk_timer_handler() path does not need the same changes for two reasons: ha

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cgroup: fix race between task migration and iteration When a task is migrated out of a css_set, cgroup_migrate_add_task() first moves it from cset->tasks to cset->mg_tasks via: list_move_tail(&task->cg_list, &cset->mg_tasks); If a css_task_iter currently has it->task_pos pointing to this task, css_set_move_task() calls css_task_iter_skip() to keep the iterator valid. However, since the task has already been moved to ->mg_tasks, the iterator is advanced relative to the mg_tasks list instead of the original tasks list. As a result, remaining tasks on cset->tasks, as well as tasks queued on cset->mg_tasks, can be skipped by iteration. Fix this by calling css_set_skip_task_iters() before unlinking task->cg_list from cset->tasks. This advances all active iterators to the next task on cset->tasks, so iteration continues correctly even when a task is concurrently being migrated. This race is hard to hit in practice without instrumentation, but it can be reproduced by artificially slowing down cgroup_procs_show(). For example, on an Android device a temporary /sys/kernel/cgroup/cgroup_test knob can be added to in

Apr 17, 2026JetBackup – Backup, Restore & Migrate: Path Traversal leading to Arbitrary Directory DeletionCVE-2026-4853 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.9
The JetBackup – Backup, Restore & Migrate plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Path Traversal leading to Arbitrary Directory Deletion in versions up to and including 3.1.19.8. This is due to insufficient input validation on the fileName parameter in the file upload handler. The plugin sanitizes the fileName parameter using sanitize_text_field(), which removes HTML tags but does not prevent path traversal sequences like '../'. The unsanitized filename is then directly concatenated in Upload::getFileLocation() without using basename() or validating the resolved path stays within the intended directory. When an invalid file is uploaded, the cleanup logic calls dirname() on the traversed path and passes it to Util::rm(), which recursively deletes the entire resolved directory. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with administrator-level access to traverse outside the intended upload directory and trigger deletion of critical WordPress directories such as wp-content/plugins, effectively disabling all installed plugins and causing severe site disruption.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe/migrate: prevent potential UAF If we hit the error path, the previous fence (if there is one) has already been put() prior to this, so doing a fence_wait could lead to UAF. Tweak the flow to do to the put() until after we do the wait. (cherry picked from commit 9b7ca35ed28fe5fad86e9d9c24ebd1271e4c9c3e)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/ops-common: ignore migration request to invalid nodes damon_migrate_pages() tries migration even if the target node is invalid. If users mistakenly make such invalid requests via DAMOS_MIGRATE_{HOT,COLD} action, the below kernel BUG can happen. Sep 4, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe/migrate: prevent infinite recursion If the buf + offset is not aligned to XE_CAHELICVE-2025-38690 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe/migrate: prevent infinite recursion If the buf + offset is not aligned to XE_CAHELINE_BYTES we fallback to using a bounce buffer. However the bounce buffer here is allocated on the stack, and the only alignment requirement here is that it's naturally aligned to u8, and not XE_CACHELINE_BYTES. If the bounce buffer is also misaligned we then recurse back into the function again, however the new bounce buffer might also not be aligned, and might never be until we eventually blow through the stack, as we keep recursing. Instead of using the stack use kmalloc, which should respect the power-of-two alignment request here. Fixes a kernel panic when triggering this path through eudebug. v2 (Stuart): - Add build bug check for power-of-two restriction - s/EINVAL/ENOMEM/ (cherry picked from commit 38b34e928a08ba594c4bbf7118aa3aadacd62fff)

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
