  • Sep 11, 2026A symlink-following flaw was found in libvirt's qemuTPMEmulatorPrepareHost() function.CVE-2026-77159 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 5.5

    A symlink-following flaw was found in libvirt's qemuTPMEmulatorPrepareHost() function. The function uses a path-based chown() on the swtpm logfile without checking for symbolic links. A local attacker with access to the swtpm account can replace the logfile with a symlink, causing libvirtd (running as root) to transfer ownership of an arbitrary file to the swtpm user.

  • Feb 29, 2024In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mtd: require write permissions for locking and badblock ioctls MEMLOCK, MEMUNLOCK and OTPLCVE-2021-47055 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mtd: require write permissions for locking and badblock ioctls MEMLOCK, MEMUNLOCK and OTPLOCK modify protection bits. Thus require write permission. Depending on the hardware MEMLOCK might even be write-once, e.g. for SPI-NOR flashes with their WP# tied to GND. OTPLOCK is always write-once. MEMSETBADBLOCK modifies the bad block table.

  • Feb 11, 2020An issue was discovered in Microvirt MEmu all versions prior to 7.0.2.CVE-2019-14514 · Other software · Microvirt · reported by MITRECritical 9.8

    An issue was discovered in Microvirt MEmu all versions prior to 7.0.2. A guest Android operating system inside the MEmu emulator contains a /system/bin/systemd binary that is run with root privileges on startup (this is unrelated to Red Hat's systemd init program, and is a closed-source proprietary tool that seems to be developed by Microvirt). This program opens TCP port 21509, presumably to receive installation-related commands from the host OS. Because everything after the installer:uninstall command is concatenated directly into a system() call, it is possible to execute arbitrary commands by supplying shell metacharacters.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
