  • Oct 29, 2026Bot for Telegram on WooCommerce: Authentication Bypass leading to Account TakeoverCVE-2026-109516 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Bot for Telegram on WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass leading to Account Takeover in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.0. The `/wp-json/woo-telegram/v1/main/` REST endpoint is registered with `permission_callback => '__return_true'` and performs no Telegram webhook signature verification, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to POST a forged bot update with a `message.chat.id` set to any WordPress login name; `bftow_get_user_system_id()` resolves this attacker-supplied value to the targeted account via `get_user_by('login', $tgId)` with no ownership proof, and writes a login token computed as `md5($_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'] . time())` — both inputs are fully attacker-controlled or bounded within seconds using the response's own `Date` header. The resulting token is redeemable at the unauthenticated, capability-check-free, and nonce-less `?action=bftow_create_order&bftow_token=` endpoint, which calls `wp_set_auth_cookie()` unconditionally via `login_user_by_id`, issuing a persistent authenticated session cookie for the targeted account to the attacker. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as any WordPress user

When the `allowed_scopes` configuration is enabled, the OAuth2 token introspection mechanism does not immediately invalidate a token in the cache after a revocation request. This results in a scenario where an access token that was introspected immediately before a revocation request may be returned again to the client after revocation, until the relevant cache entry is cleared. The security consequence is that a revoked access token may be re-issued to the client during the cache lifetime. While the re-issued token is not treated as valid for API authorization, affected users may be unable to obtain a new valid access token until the cache is cleared, which can disrupt authentication flows.

  • Oct 28, 2026MIME::Field::ParamVal versions before 5.521 for Perl do not flag a duplicate boundary parameter whose name contains a nested comment.CVE-2026-116272 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441e

MIME::Field::ParamVal versions before 5.521 for Perl do not flag a duplicate boundary parameter whose name contains a nested comment. A parameter written boundary((c))="A" or boundary(\))="A" is stored under that literal name rather than as boundary. A second boundary parameter is then not reported as a duplicate, and MIME::Parser splits the message on it. Readers that skip comments as RFC 5322 allows take the first boundary instead. A remote sender can hide an attachment from a filter that relies on ambiguous_content() while the recipient's mail client shows it.

  • Oct 28, 2026MIME::Field::ParamVal versions before 5.521 for Perl turn an RFC 2231 filename with a hyphenated language tag into an empty recommended filename.CVE-2026-116269 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441e

MIME::Field::ParamVal versions before 5.521 for Perl turn an RFC 2231 filename with a hyphenated language tag into an empty recommended filename. A parameter such as filename*=utf-8'en-US'payload.exe is converted to an encoded word with the language tag appended to the charset. The decoder strips the language suffix only when it is a single word, so it cannot resolve the charset UTF-8*EN-US and returns an empty string. The recommended_filename() method returns that empty string rather than falling back to the name parameter. Other mail readers return payload.exe. A remote sender can get an attachment past a policy that checks file extensions on the recommended filename.

  • Oct 28, 2026MIME::Field::ParamVal versions before 5.521 for Perl allow CPU exhaustion via unclosed comments in header parameters.CVE-2026-116268 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441e

MIME::Field::ParamVal versions before 5.521 for Perl allow CPU exhaustion via unclosed comments in header parameters. The comment pattern used to parse Content-Type and Content-Disposition parameters scans from each "(" to the next ")". In a field with no ")", every "(" scans to the end of the header and fails, so parsing takes time quadratic in the header length. The field is parsed again on each attribute lookup, several times per MIME entity. A 40 KB header takes about 7 seconds to parse once.

Shopper is a Headless e-commerce Admin Panel. From 2.8.0 until 2.8.1, three Shopper Livewire admin components retain authorization gaps after the earlier team-settings authorization fix. A staff member with only `view_users` and `access_dashboard` can mutate permissions, create an administrator, or delete roles. In `packages/admin/src/Livewire/Components/Settings/Team/Permissions.php`, `togglePermission` and `removePermission` authorize `view_users` rather than the stronger `access_setting` permission; `packages/admin/resources/views/livewire/components/settings/team/permissions.blade.php` exposes permission IDs in `wire:click` handlers. The attacker can grant arbitrary permissions to the bound role, including `access_setting` on the attacker's own role, or delete permission definitions. In `packages/admin/src/Livewire/SlideOvers/CreateTeamMember.php`, `mount()` and `store()` also accept `view_users`, and the client-selected `role_id` can identify the admin role, allowing creation of a pre-verified administrator with an attacker-chosen password. • Oct 28, 2026Functype is a family of TypeScript functional programming libraries.CVE-2026-59176 · Other software · jordanburke · reported by GitHubHigh 7.8

Functype is a family of TypeScript functional programming libraries. Prior to 1.4.4, the `set_functype_version` MCP tool in `functype-mcp-server` accepts an unconstrained `version` string using only `z.string()` validation in `packages/mcp-server/src/index.ts` and interpolates it into `functype@<version>` for `pnpm add`. Package-alias syntaxes such as `file:`, `npm:`, URLs, or paths can cause an arbitrary local or remote package to be installed as functype. Immediately afterward, `initDocsData(true)` in `packages/mcp-server/src/lib/docs/data.ts` resolves `functype/cli` and dynamically imports the newly installed module, executing attacker-controlled JavaScript with the MCP server process's privileges. Any MCP client able to send a `tools/call` request invoking the tool can exploit the flaw; the tool is enabled by default without authentication in `stdio` mode. A connected AI assistant susceptible to indirect prompt injection can also be induced to invoke it from a malicious document or web page. In non-default `TRANSPORT_TYPE=httpStream` deployments, a network-accessible attacker does not require local access. Successful execution can read process secrets, modify files, or terminat

  • Oct 28, 2026Waline is a comment system with backend support.CVE-2026-55369 · Other software · walinejs · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Waline is a comment system with backend support. Prior to version 1.41.1, the login endpoint POST /api/token reads the email field from the request body without checking its type and passes it straight into the MongoDB storage query. When email is not a string (for example a JSON object such as {"$ne": null}), the MongoDB storage adapter's parseWhere silently DROPS the field rather than rejecting the request, producing an empty filter that matches ALL users. The endpoint then verifies the submitted password against the FIRST user returned (user[0]), which in Waline is the first-registered user — the site administrator. This is a PARTIAL authentication bypass, not a full one. The attacker still needs a valid password for that first user; this is not a zero-knowledge bypass and it does not disclose passwords. Its concrete effects are: (1) the email/identifier factor is removed for the administrator account, (2) user enumeration (a non-string email never fails the "no such user" branch), and (3) credential-stuffing amplification — an attacker can test a leaked or weak password against the administrator account without knowing the administrator's email. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/insn-eval: Fix shadowed segment index in get_seg_reg_override_idx() Commit 45e1dccc0653 ("x86/insn: Simplify for_each_insn_prefix()") made for_each_insn_prefix() declare its own loop counter named idx. get_seg_reg_override_idx() keeps its result in a local of the same name, so the assignments in the loop body now write the loop counter: - the function always returns INAT_SEG_REG_DEFAULT, so FS and GS overrides are ignored; - a CS override sets the counter to INAT_SEG_REG_CS (2), the increment makes it 3, and prefixes.bytes[3] holds the last prefix, 0x2e again, so the loop never terminates. The UMIP emulation reaches this from the #GP handler for user space: an SGDT, SIDT or SMSW with a memory operand and a CS prefix leaves the task spinning in the kernel, never returning to user space, with a SIGKILL that is never delivered. Any user can thus tie up CPUs until reboot. With an FS or GS prefix, the emulated result is written to the wrong address. Rename the internal macro iterator variable. [ Lukas' original patch renamed the use site, I changed it to rename the iterator in the macro instead,

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: nVMX: Reset MMU back to the root MMU if loading L2 state fails for !VM-Entry Reset the vCPU's MMU pointer back to the root MMU if loading L2 state fails in the "not from VM-Entry" case, i.e. when emulating RSM or handling KVM_SET_NESTED_STATE. Failure to unwind the MMU pointer results in KVM trying to run L1 with a nested MMU, and is especially problematic if the vCPU manages to free its nested state before the VM crashes. Constructing the root for a nested EPT MMU goes through vmcs12, which is dynamically allocated/freed when nVMX is enabled/disabled. And so if the nested state is freed with the MMU still pointing at the nested MMU, KVM will hit a NULL pointer deref when attempting to get L1=>L2 EPTP. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: namespace: a mount that copy_tree() leaves out can't take over a lock Since commit c62a4766937e ("move_mount: transfer MNT_LOCKED") a mount can be moved beneath a locked mount. The lock moves from the old cover to the new mount which takes over the job of hiding what's under it and the old cover can be unmounted. That works as long as the new mount stays. But the caller picks the new mount and copy_tree() leaves a mount of a mount namespace file out of every copy made without CL_COPY_MNT_NS_FILE, together with everything mounted on it, and never looks at MNT_LOCKED. unshare(CLONE_NEWNS) and mount propagation make such copies. So a task that is root in its own user namespace gets rid of a locked cover on a file without a race and without touching the filesystem below it. It makes a child with a mount namespace of its own, binds the child's /proc/<pid>/ns/mnt beneath the cover with MOVE_MOUNT_BENEATH, which hands the lock to that bind, and calls unshare(CLONE_NEWNS). The new mount namespace has nothing on the file. That's the usual way to mask a single file, a bind of /dev/null or of an empty file. With a bind of

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: futex: Fix mm reuse handling for FUT_OFF_MMSHARED A FUT_OFF_MMSHARED futex is a shared futex that refers to an MM. It is possible for a process to wait on a shared futex with a different MM because a FUT_OFF_INODE waiter can be requeued onto a FUT_OFF_MMSHARED futex by another process. This can cause FUT_OFF_MMSHARED waiters on a freed MM to consume wakeups intended for a newly allocated MM at the same address. Fix it by keying FUT_OFF_MMSHARED using a unique 64-bit per-MM ID. Leave private futexes as before to avoid influencing the performance of the hotpath. (Multi-threaded processes typically implicitly use FUT_OFF_MMSHARED by setting clear_child_tid such that it points into anonymous memory, which causes mm_release() in a multi-threaded mm to perform FUTEX_WAKE.)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mshv_vtl: Check per-CPU register page before mmap Register-page setup is optional for each CPU. If allocation or registration fails, mshv_vtl_configure_reg_page() warns and leaves that CPU's reg_page NULL, but initial context setup continues successfully. Meanwhile, successful setup on another CPU sets the global mshv_has_reg_page flag. mshv_vtl_fault() checks this global flag before selecting the requested CPU's register page. With mixed setup results across online CPUs, the check passes even for a CPU with no register page, reaching get_page(NULL) when userspace faults in that mapping. Check the selected per-CPU register page before taking its reference and return VM_FAULT_SIGBUS if it is absent.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: imx: fix slab corruption from undersized DMA bounce buffers Since commit faa8e404ad8e ("spi: imx: support dynamic burst length for ECSPI DMA mode"), the driver allocates its private DMA TX/RX buffers with kzalloc(dma_len), where dma_len is only rounded up to 4 bytes, but maps, syncs and unmaps them with DMA_CACHE_ALIGNED_LEN(dma_len), i.e. rounded up to the cache line size. As a result, the DMA API operates on memory beyond the end of the allocation. This was observed on a custom i.MX8MP platform with an mcp251xfd CAN controller under heavy RPMSG load, as a series of refcount_t warnings triggered from rpmsg_recv_done() in virtio_rpmsg_bus: refcount_t: addition on 0; use-after-free. refcount_t: underflow; use-after-free. refcount_t: saturated; leaking memory. Leading finally to an "Unable to handle kernel paging request" oops. Reproducing this problem took between 30 minutes and roughly 30 hours under the same workload. Hardware watchpoints on the refcount of a struct rpmsg_endpoint showed it was overwritten from 2 to 1 by __pi_memcpy_generic() in the irq/155-spi2.0 thread. Additionally it was found

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ring-buffer: Fix false warning in ring_buffer_map_get_reader() The mmap reader can warn when it catches up with a writer that is still committing events. rb_get_reader_page() returns NULL in this case, but ring_buffer_map_get_reader() treats that result as an error. The initial rb_per_cpu_empty() check filters out an empty buffer, but it does not guarantee that the next reader page has committed data. Writers do not take reader_lock and can advance commit_page before publishing the committed length on the new page. rb_get_reader_page() can swap to that page, catch up with the writer and return NULL. Handle NULL through the existing no-data exit without warning. Remove the caller's reader_page == commit_page check as well, since the reader-page helper already handles that case. The existing metadata update and return path remain in place.

  • Oct 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/exec: don't immediately add prelocked obj to array of locked objs When a contention isCVE-2026-99147 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/exec: don't immediately add prelocked obj to array of locked objs When a contention is detected the drm_exec object grabs a reference to the contended object, unlocks all other objects and pre-locks the contended one before anything else. The problem is that it is possible that this pre-locked object was about to be destroyed and drm_exec is now holding the last reference to it. So we never actually see this pre-locked object again to be explicitly locked and so also never reserve a slot for a dma_fence object on it. Should the driver now use drm_exec_for_each_locked_object() to add a new fence to all locked objects we eventually see a warning or even a BUG_ON() to prevent random memory corruption. Fix this by keeping the prelocked object out of the array of locked objs until it was explicitly mentioned by the driver again. If the prelocked object is never mentioned again by the driver just unlock and drop the reference at the end of the locking loop.

The AMD manual is unclear about when SS is set, including whether it can be set when SupervisorShadowStackEn (bit 6) is not set in the MISC_CTL field of the VMCB. Nevertheless, the unexpected SS bit causes out of bounds accesses in permission_fault(), seen as either WARNs or UBSAN reports: kernel: UBSAN: array-index-out-of-bounds in arch/x86/kvm/mmu.h:225:27 kernel: index 34 is out of range for type 'u16 [16]' (in this case, the page fault error code is 34*2=0x44, i.e. SS|U; the report shows SS|U|W happening as well). Fix the handling of unknown error codes by dropping SS and (with a WARN) any bits not among those that permission_fault() expects to receive. At the same time, given the uncertainty about when hardware sets SS, follow the processor's behavior when constructing the fault's error code, and preserve the SS bit as passed to FNAME(walk_addr_generic). While the behavior is surprising, there's a possibility t
