In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: Use active memslots for the per-vCPU MMIO cache KVM tags the per-vCPU MMIO cache with a memslot generation so that a memslot update invalidates cached MMIO information. Both the fill and validation paths use kvm_memslots(), which unconditionally selects address space 0, even when the vCPU is running in SMM and using address space 1. Commit 56f17dd3fbc4 ("kvm: x86: fix stale mmio cache bug") added the memslot generation to the cache key so that a memslot update could not leave a stale entry valid. When commit 699023e23965 ("KVM: x86: add SMM to the MMU role, support SMRAM address space") added the SMM address space, these helpers were not converted to use the active memslots. Consequently, an update to the SMM memslots can leave an entry from the old SMM address space apparently valid after the vCPU returns to the normal address space. A guest can then cause an access to valid RAM at the same GFN to be returned to userspace as KVM_EXIT_MMIO. Completing that exit through the VMM's RAM address space writes the backing page without going through KVM's write-tracking path. If the page backs a nested E

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: Restore Ordered MMIO Writes for Tx Doorbells The DQL accounting state which tracks the number of bytes queued for the NIC to transmit, namely dql->num_queued, is updated by the ICE driver when it invokes __netdev_tx_sent_queue(). Subsequently the driver updates the hardware queue tail allowing the NIC to begin processing the work queue. The queue accounting update should be ordered before the NIC begins transmitting descriptors. The transmit path currently updates the hardware doorbell using writel_relaxed(), which (on arm64) does not provide the same ordering guarantees between writes to normal memory and writes to MMIO registers that writel() does. This introduces a potential race where the NIC begins transmitting descriptors before the dql->num_queued update is globally visible. If the NIC finishes before the update is observed by dql_completed(), it detects an invalid state where more bytes have been completed than have been queued. When this happens the following BUG_ON is triggered. BUG_ON(count > num_queued - dql->num_completed); This has been observed and manifests as the following crash (note t

  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tty: fix saved termios reset race Resetting saved termios state on device registration is CVE-2026-98750 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tty: fix saved termios reset race Resetting saved termios state on device registration is needed where a minor number can be reused for an entirely different device and where the old settings may prevent the port from even being opened (e.g. when CLOCAL is not set). Not all TTY drivers guarantee that the minor number is no longer in use when registering devices however, something which can lead to a use-after-free when closing a TTY (and saving its termios) races with re-registration. Add a new TTY_DRIVER_RESET_SAVED_TERMIOS flag to request that any saved termios state is reset on registration and only set it for drivers that make sure that the minor number is no longer in use.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ena: fix MMIO read buffer leak on probe failure ena_device_init() initializes the MMIO read mechanism with ena_com_mmio_reg_read_request_init(), which allocates a coherent DMA buffer for MMIO read responses. The normal removal path releases this buffer through ena_com_mmio_reg_read_request_destroy(). However, if ena_probe() fails after ena_device_init() succeeds, the error path destroys the admin resources and eventually frees ena_dev without destroying the MMIO read request, leaving the coherent DMA buffer allocated. Call ena_com_mmio_reg_read_request_destroy() in the probe error path before releasing the remaining device resources. This issue was found by manual code inspection.

Telegram-Stremio through 5.1.0 contains a broken object-level authorization vulnerability that allows authenticated token holders to access arbitrary chat messages by forging unsigned, unauthenticated stream IDs decoded via encode_string/decode_string functions. Attackers can craft or enumerate sequential msg_id values and set a global flag in the stream_handler endpoint to route requests through the operator's personal Userbot account, exposing private channels, groups, and Saved Messages, while the unauthenticated thumb_handler endpoint further discloses thumbnails from those same chats without any token validation.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dma-buf: Fix silent overflow for phys vec to sgt In case MMIO size is bigger than 4G and peer2peer DMA goes through host bridge, we trigger a code path that assigns the total linked IOVA (which is greater than 4G) to mapped_len. Previously, `mapped_len` was declared as 32-bit `unsigned int`. When accumulating `size_t` lengths, this leads to a silent wrap-around. This truncation causes truncated lengths to be passed to functions like `fill_sg_entry()`. Fix this by changing `mapped_len` to `size_t` (64-bit). While at it, fix similar potential overflow issues in `calc_sg_nents` by using `check_add_overflow()` for `nents` and using `unsigned int` for the loop iterator in `fill_sg_entry` to match.

  • Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: fix rmmio iounmap skipped on device removal amdgpu_pci_remove() calls drm_dev_CVE-2026-98179 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: fix rmmio iounmap skipped on device removal amdgpu_pci_remove() calls drm_dev_unplug() before fini_sw(), so drm_dev_enter() is already false there and the iounmap() guarded by it is skipped. This .remove path runs on both hot-unplug and plain rmmod, so the register BAR ioremap mapping leaks one instance per unload. Unmap rmmio unconditionally (guard only on non-NULL) and drop the now unused idx. (cherry picked from commit dd6f86a97260e5207d3329ad03aa89fdad61b1e6)

  • Sep 21, 2026deepstream is a server that allows clients and backend services to sync data, send messages and make rpcs at scale.CVE-2026-63116 · Other software · deepstreamIO · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

deepstream is a server that allows clients and backend services to sync data, send messages and make rpcs at scale. From 10.1.0 until 10.1.1, src/services/permission/valve/rules-map.ts omits RECORD_ACTION.PATCH_MULTI from RULES_MAP. When an authenticated user sends a PATCH_MULTI record operation while permission.type is config, getRulesForMessage returns a null rule specification and ConfigPermission.canPerformAction treats the missing specification as an unconditional allow instead of applying RULE_TYPES.WRITE. Any authenticated user can therefore modify arbitrary protected records, corrupt application state, or cause service disruption; deployments using the default permission type none already allow all operations and are not additionally affected. This issue is fixed in version 10.1.1.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath10k: snoc: use memcpy_fromio() for MSA ramdump On WCN3990/SNOC the MSA region is mapped with devm_memremap(MEMREMAP_WT). On arm64 such a mapping is not Normal-cacheable, so unaligned accesses to it are not permitted. ath10k_msa_dump_memory() copies the region with a plain memcpy(), whose optimized __pi_memcpy_generic implementation issues wide/unaligned loads. This triggers an alignment fault (FSC=0x21) Oops in ath10k_snoc_fw_crashed_dump() while collecting the devcoredump: Unable to handle kernel paging request ... FSC=0x21: alignment fault pc : __pi_memcpy_generic lr : ath10k_snoc_fw_crashed_dump [ath10k_snoc] The Oops both leaves the firmware RAM dump buffer zeroed (no dump is captured) and crashes the kernel, which in turn breaks modem SSR recovery. Use memcpy_fromio(), which only performs accesses that are valid for such a device-memory mapping. The generic memcpy_fromio() implementation aligns the source before issuing word-sized reads and stores the destination with put_unaligned(), so it is also safe for the coherent DMA allocation used on the non-reserved-memory path. ath11k and ath12k

  • Aug 10, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Fix resource leak on mmiotrace trace_pipe close The mmiotrace tracer was added MaCVE-2026-68175 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Fix resource leak on mmiotrace trace_pipe close The mmiotrace tracer was added May 12th 2008. At that time, resources created in pipe_open() could not be freed because there was not pipe_close function pointer of the tracer. The pipe_close function pointer was added in December 7th, 2009, but the mmiotrace tracer was not updated. mmio_pipe_open() allocates a header_iter and takes a pci_dev reference when trace_pipe is opened. mmio_close() frees them, but it was only wired to the tracer's .close callback. tracing_release_pipe() invokes .pipe_close, not .close, when the trace_pipe file is released. As a result, closing trace_pipe with the mmiotrace tracer active leaked the header_iter allocation and left a stale pci_dev reference. Set .pipe_close to mmio_close, matching how function_graph wires both callbacks to the same handler. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/amd: Remove latent out-of-bounds access in IOMMU debugfs In iommu_mmio_write() and iommu_capability_write(), the variables dbg_mmio_offset and dbg_cap_offset are declared as int. However, they are populated using kstrtou32_from_user(). If a user provides a sufficiently large value, it can become a negative integer. Prior to this patch, the AMD IOMMU debugfs implementation was already protected by different mechanisms. 1. #define OFS_IN_SZ 8 ensures the user string <= 8 bytes, so e.g. 0xffffffff isn't a valid input. if (cnt > OFS_IN_SZ) return -EINVAL; 2. Implicit type promotion in iommu_mmio_write(), dbg_mmio_offset is int and iommu->mmio_phys_end is u64 if (dbg_mmio_offset > iommu->mmio_phys_end - sizeof(u64)) return -EINVAL; 3. The show handlers would currently catch the negative number and refuse to perform the read. Replace kstrtou32_from_user() with kstrtos32_from_user() to parse the input, and check for negative values to explicitly prevent out-of-bounds memory accesses directly in iommu_mmio_write() and iommu_capability_write().

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: misc: ibmasm: fix OOB MMIO read in ibmasm_handle_mouse_interrupt() ibmasm_handle_mouse_interrupt() performs an out-of-bounds MMIO read when the queue reader or writer index from hardware exceeds REMOTE_QUEUE_SIZE (60). A compromised service processor can trigger this by writing an out-of-range value to the reader or writer MMIO register before asserting an interrupt. Since writer is re-read from hardware on every loop iteration, it can also be set to an out-of-range value after the loop has already started. The root cause is that get_queue_reader() and get_queue_writer() return raw readl() values that are passed directly into get_queue_entry(), which computes: queue_begin + reader * sizeof(struct remote_input) with no bounds check. This unchecked MMIO address is then passed to memcpy_fromio(), reading 8 bytes from unintended device registers. For sufficiently large values the address falls outside the PCI BAR mapping entirely, triggering a machine check exception. Fix by checking both indices against REMOTE_QUEUE_SIZE at the top of the loop body, before any call to get_queue_entry(). On an out-of-range val

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: comedi: ni_atmio16d: Fix invalid clean-up after failed attach If the driver's COMEDI "attach" handler function (`atmio16d_attach()`) returns an error, the COMEDI core will call the driver's "detach" handler function (`atmio16d_detach()`) to clean up. This calls `reset_atmio16d()` unconditionally, but depending on where the error occurred in the attach handler, the device may not have been sufficiently initialized to call `reset_atmio16d()`. It uses `dev->iobase` as the I/O port base address and `dev->private` as the pointer to the COMEDI device's private data structure. `dev->iobase` may still be set to its initial value of 0, which would result in undesired writes to low I/O port addresses. `dev->private` may still be `NULL`, which would result in null pointer dereferences. Fix `atmio16d_detach()` by checking that `dev->private` is valid (non-null) before calling `reset_atmio16d()`. This implies that `dev->iobase` was set correctly since that is set up before `dev->private`.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: Use scratch field in MMIO fragment to hold small write values When exiting to userspace to service an emulated MMIO write, copy the to-be-written value to a scratch field in the MMIO fragment if the size of the data payload is 8 bytes or less, i.e. can fit in a single chunk, instead of pointing the fragment directly at the source value. This fixes a class of use-after-free bugs that occur when the emulator initiates a write using an on-stack, local variable as the source, the write splits a page boundary, *and* both pages are MMIO pages. Because KVM's ABI only allows for physically contiguous MMIO requests, accesses that split MMIO pages are separated into two fragments, and are sent to userspace one at a time. When KVM attempts to complete userspace MMIO in response to KVM_RUN after the first fragment, KVM will detect the second fragment and generate a second userspace exit, and reference the on-stack variable. The issue is most visible if the second KVM_RUN is performed by a separate task, in which case the stack of the initiating task can show up as truly freed data. ==========================

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe: Open-code GGTT MMIO access protection GGTT MMIO access is currently protected by hotplug (drm_dev_enter), which works correctly when the driver loads successfully and is later unbound or unloaded. However, if driver load fails, this protection is insufficient because drm_dev_unplug() is never called. Additionally, devm release functions cannot guarantee that all BOs with GGTT mappings are destroyed before the GGTT MMIO region is removed, as some BOs may be freed asynchronously by worker threads. To address this, introduce an open-coded flag, protected by the GGTT lock, that guards GGTT MMIO access. The flag is cleared during the dev_fini_ggtt devm release function to ensure MMIO access is disabled once teardown begins. (cherry picked from commit 4f3a998a173b4325c2efd90bdadc6ccd3ad9a431)

E.g. if host userspace modifies a shadowed gPTE to switch from a memslot to emulted MMIO and then the guest hits a relevant page fault, KVM will install the MMIO SPTE without first zapping the shadow-present SPTE. ------------[ cut here ]------------ is_shadow_present_pte(*sptep) WARNING: arch/x86/kvm/mmu/mmu.c:484 at mark_mmio_spte+0xb2/0xc0 [kvm], CPU#0: vmx_ept_stale_r/4292 Modules linked in: kvm_intel kvm irqbypass CPU: 0 UID: 1000 PID: 4292 Comm: vmx_ept_stale_r Not tainted 7.0.0-rc2-eafebd2d2ab0-sink-vm #319 PREEMPT Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (Q35 + ICH9, 2009), BIOS 0.0.0 02/06/2015 RIP: 0010:mark_mmio_spte+0xb2/0xc0 [kvm] Call Trace: <TASK> mmu_set_spte+0x237/0x440 [kvm]

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/pm: Disable MMIO access during SMU Mode 1 reset During Mode 1 reset, the ASIC undergoes a reset cycle and becomes temporarily inaccessible via PCIe. Any attempt to access MMIO registers during this window (e.g., from interrupt handlers or other driver threads) can result in uncompleted PCIe transactions, leading to NMI panics or system hangs. To prevent this, set the `no_hw_access` flag to true immediately after triggering the reset. This signals other driver components to skip register accesses while the device is offline. A memory barrier `smp_mb()` is added to ensure the flag update is globally visible to all cores before the driver enters the sleep/wait state. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/amd: Fix potential out-of-bounds read in iommu_mmio_show In iommu_mmio_write(), it validates the user-provided offset with the check: `iommu->dbg_mmio_offset > iommu->mmio_phys_end - 4`. This assumes a 4-byte access. However, the corresponding show handler, iommu_mmio_show(), uses readq() to perform an 8-byte (64-bit) read. If a user provides an offset equal to `mmio_phys_end - 4`, the check passes, and will lead to a 4-byte out-of-bounds read. Fix this by adjusting the boundary check to use sizeof(u64), which corresponds to the size of the readq() operation.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
