In `github.com/eclipse-keypont/crypto11/v2` versions `>= 2.0.0-rc3, <= 2.0.0-rc8`, the ML-KEM key-pair lookup functions (`FindMLKEMKeyPair`, `FindMLKEMKeyPairs`, `FindMLKEMKeyPairsWithAttributes`) locate the public half of an ML-KEM key pair by `CKA_ID`/`CKA_LABEL` and never verify it against the private key. In addition, the "ID only" fallback search runs even when the private key has no `CKA_ID`, so the search template reduces to the public-key class and the ML-KEM key type and the first ML-KEM public key on the token is returned. `Encapsulate()` on the resulting key pair encrypts the fresh shared secret to that key, so its owner — not the holder of the private key the caller looked up — can recover the secret. An attacker who can open an unauthenticated session on the token and plant a public `CKK_ML_KEM` object carrying the victim's `CKA_ID`/`CKA_LABEL` receives the shared secrets for encapsulations performed through the substituted key pair, compromising the confidentiality of those secrets and of everything protected by keys derived from them. The v1 module paths have no ML-KEM support and are not affected.

  • Oct 26, 2026A SQL injection vulnerability exists in a contact lookup AJAX endpoint of the Mautic administration interface (/s/ajax).CVE-2026-115191 · Other software · reported by security@mautic.orgHigh 7.1

A SQL injection vulnerability exists in a contact lookup AJAX endpoint of the Mautic administration interface (/s/ajax). A request parameter that selects the contact field to search by is not properly validated before it is used in a database query. Any authenticated Mautic user can exploit this, regardless of the role or permissions assigned to the account. Using blind (boolean-based or time-based) techniques, the attacker can run arbitrary SQL queries against the Mautic database and read any data the Mautic database user can access, including Mautic user accounts with email addresses and password hashes, contact data, and campaign and email content.

  • Oct 21, 2026Out-of-bounds reads in URL parsing and case-insensitive header lookup in Apache bRPC before version 1.18.0 on platforms where plain char is unsigned, such as ARCVE-2026-61916 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.5

Out-of-bounds reads in URL parsing and case-insensitive header lookup in Apache bRPC before version 1.18.0 on platforms where plain char is unsigned, such as ARM64, allow remote attackers to cause a process crash and denial of service by sending crafted input containing bytes with the high bit set. Root Cause: Two 256-entry lookup tables are accessed through pointers biased by 128 so that valid indices are in the range -128 to 127. Input bytes are promoted from plain char to int without first normalizing them to the signed-char range. On affected platforms, bytes in the range 0x80 to 0xFF therefore become indices 128 to 255 and read up to 127 bytes beyond the end of the underlying tables. Affected Scenarios: A remotely accessible bRPC HTTP server on an affected platform can reach the vulnerable URL lookup through an unauthenticated request URI containing a high-bit byte. The case-insensitive lookup is also reachable when untrusted header names are processed through APIs such as the HTTP/2 HPACK path. HTTP/1 header names containing high-bit bytes are rejected by the HTTP/1 parser before reaching the vulnerable lookup. Builds where plain char is signed, which commonly include x86_6

  • Oct 20, 2026The Module Manager's object lookup validated one byte of a memory-protected module's search name and then walked as much of it as the module declared, in privilCVE-2026-94024 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgMedium 6.9

The Module Manager's object lookup validated one byte of a memory-protected module's search name and then walked as much of it as the module declared, in privileged mode, with the kernel's preemption count raised. Both lookup dispatchers are affected: the recommended `txm_module_object_pointer_get_extended` is handed a length and does not use it to bound the buffer, and the deprecated `txm_module_object_pointer_get` supplies the largest value a `UINT` can hold, so it removes the bound rather than lacking one. A module can make the walk unbounded without knowing anything about the memory it reaches, and where the walk reaches memory a privileged read cannot take, the resulting fault leaves the kernel unable to preempt for the rest of the system's life. Vulnerable functions: `_txm_module_manager_txm_module_object_pointer_get_dispatch`, `_txm_module_manager_txm_module_object_pointer_get_extended_dispatch` (both in `common_modules/module_manager/inc/txm_module_manager_dispatch.h`) and `_txm_module_manager_object_name_compare` (`common_modules/module_manager/src/txm_module_manager_util.c`).

  • Oct 19, 2026MISP contains a vulnerability in its server settings lookup mechanism that allows an authenticated user to retrieve sensitive configuration data that should havCVE-2026-112188 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 7.1

MISP contains a vulnerability in its server settings lookup mechanism that allows an authenticated user to retrieve sensitive configuration data that should have been redacted. The settings lookup function resolves a dotted setting name to a node in the configuration tree. When a branch name (such as Security, MISP, or Plugin) is supplied instead of a specific leaf setting, the function returns the entire sub-tree. Because a branch node does not carry a redaction flag, the redaction check in the settings retrieval endpoint is bypassed, and the full branch contents are returned to the caller. This exposes sensitive values including the security salt, Redis connection passwords, and plugin API keys. A second endpoint that edits server settings similarly reads the entire configuration store when a branch name is resolved, returning all settings to the caller. The impact is disclosure of sensitive server configuration secrets to any user who can access the server settings endpoints. Affected versions: <2.5.48.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: prevent AP VLAN tx from other interfaces Since the station lookup was factored out of ieee80211_build_hdr(), ieee80211_lookup_ra_sta() uses sta_info_get_bss() for all AP and AP VLAN frames, not only for control port frames. A unicast frame sent on one interface thus matches a station of a different VLAN of the same BSS and is transmitted to it. Only match stations of the interface the frame is sent on, except for control port frames, since those may be sent for VLAN stations directly on the BSS interface.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix missing migration protection in __rhtab_map_lookup_and_delete_batch() bpf_mem_cache_free_rcu() uses this_cpu_ptr() which requires migration to be disabled. All callers of rhtab_delete_elem() disable migration except __rhtab_map_lookup_and_delete_batch(), which calls it under rcu_read_lock() only. On CONFIG_PREEMPT_RCU, rcu_read_lock() does not disable preemption or migration, so the task can migrate between CPUs during the delete loop, causing this_cpu_ptr() to trigger: BUG: using smp_processor_id() in preemptible [00000000] code Fix by wrapping the delete loop in migrate_disable()/migrate_enable() in __rhtab_map_lookup_and_delete_batch(), matching the migration protection that the other callers already provide.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: pressure: bmp280: fix out-of-bounds access in sampling frequency lookup The sampling frequency tables store each frequency as an integer part and a fractional part in micro units. num_sampling_freq_avail is initialized to the number of flattened integer elements because read_avail() returns the table as a flat array. bmp280_write_sampling_frequency(), however, indexes the same table as a two-dimensional array and uses num_sampling_freq_avail as the number of rows. • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Avoid soft lockup in __htab_map_lookup_and_delete_batch() __htab_map_lookup_and_deletCVE-2026-98644 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Avoid soft lockup in __htab_map_lookup_and_delete_batch() __htab_map_lookup_and_delete_batch() has no rescheduling point. The batch count bounds how many entries are copied out, not how many buckets are visited, so one BPF_MAP_LOOKUP_BATCH call can walk the map end to end. The empty-bucket fast path is worse: it stays inside a single rcu_read_lock() / bpf_disable_instrumentation() section for any run of consecutive empty buckets. That holds up on small maps, but it falls apart at scale. On a 144-CPU arm64 host running a CONFIG_PREEMPT_NONE kernel, periodic BPF_MAP_LOOKUP_BATCH calls against an LRU hash map with 16,777,216 buckets held a CPU inside the batch op for 77+ seconds and triggered the soft lockup watchdog. Commit 75134f16e7dd ("bpf: Add schedule points in batch ops") fixed this same problem in the generic batch ops, but not in this htab-native path, which every htab-based hash map variant uses for its lookup[_and_delete] batch ops. Complete that fix here. Leave the critical section after 64 consecutive empty buckets, call cond_resched_tasks_rcu_qs(), and resume at the saved bucket cursor. No lock

  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: Use a 32-bit compare in xsk_map_gen_lookup xsk_map_gen_lookup() loads a u32 key and cCVE-2026-98631 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: Use a 32-bit compare in xsk_map_gen_lookup xsk_map_gen_lookup() loads a u32 key and compares it with max_entries using BPF_JMP_IMM. BPF immediates are sign-extended to 64 bits, so a max_entries value of 0x80000000 or higher becomes a threshold larger than every zero-extended 32-bit key. An out-of-range index then skips the bounds check and the generated lookup reads past xsk_map[]. Compare with BPF_JMP32_IMM so the check stays in 32-bit unsigned range.

  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mctp: route: iterate socket tag list in mctp_lookup_prealloc_tag() When a socket transmitsCVE-2026-98525 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mctp: route: iterate socket tag list in mctp_lookup_prealloc_tag() When a socket transmits a packet with MCTP_TAG_PREALLOC set, mctp_lookup_prealloc_tag() iterates over the per-netns &mns->keys list and matches netid, req_tag, peer_addr, and manual_alloc, without checking whether tmp->sk == &msk->sk. This allows any MCTP socket in the same network namespace to use and consume another socket's preallocated tag. Iterate the socket's own tag list (&msk->keys via sklist) instead of the namespace-wide &mns->keys list in mctp_lookup_prealloc_tag(), ensuring that only tags allocated by msk are matched. Tested in QEMU against Linux 7.3.0-rc3 by allocating a manual tag (0x18) on socket A via SIOCMCTPALLOCTAG for peer EID 9 and sending a 4-byte message with MCTP_TAG_PREALLOC from socket B in the same network namespace. On the unfixed kernel, sendto(sock_b) using socket A's preallocated tag succeeds (ret = 4); with this patch applied, sendto(sock_b) fails with -ENOENT (errno = 2) while sendto(sock_a) succeeds (ret = 4).

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: swiotlb: use the adjusted address for the highmem page lookup swiotlb_bounce() reads the page frame number from the slot's recorded orig_addr, then advances orig_addr by tlb_offset to reach the address the caller asked about. The highmem branch mixes the two: the offset within the page comes from the adjusted address, the page from the value before it. Once the adjustment crosses a page boundary the pair no longer describes one location, and the whole copy lands one page below the intended one for a positive tlb_offset, one above for a negative one. DMA_FROM_DEVICE writes the device data over the wrong page and leaves the intended one stale, DMA_TO_DEVICE feeds the device from a page the mapping may not cover. Partial syncs through dma_sync_single_range_for_*() are what make tlb_offset non-zero. The branch test is picked the same way, so a slot recorded in lowmem can be adjusted into highmem and the lowmem path then hands a highmem address to phys_to_virt(). Take both from orig_addr once it is final and keep pfn in the branch that uses it. PhysHighMem() asks the question straight from the address, as dma-debug

In Bouncy Castle for Java before 1.86, HQC leaked secret-derived data through two side channels: its GF(2^8) arithmetic used lookup tables indexed by field elements, making the cache line touched a function of the operand, and its fixed-weight support sampler left its duplicate scan as soon as a collision was found and stored accepted positions at a secret index. Both run on secret inputs during encapsulation and decapsulation, and the sampler re-expands the secret key from its seed on every decapsulation, so an attacker able to observe cache behaviour or decapsulation timing can recover information about the HQC private key. The field arithmetic is now table-free and the sampler branch-free within a batch of candidates, with output and randomness consumption unchanged.

LDAPCache and LDAPBackingEngine build LDAP search filters for user lookup and role lookup by textually substituting the placeholders %u, %dn, and %fqdn (drawn from the login name, the resolved user DN, and its fully qualified namespace form) into administrator-configured filter templates (userFilter, roleFilter). Before the fix, the only sanitization applied to the substituted value was double backslashed: filter = filter.replaceAll(Pattern.quote("%u"), Matcher.quoteReplacement(user)); filter = filter.replace("\\", "\\\\"); This does not escape the other characters RFC 4515 requires escaping in an LDAP search filter: *, (, ), and NUL. A login name containing any of these can change the structure of the resulting filter rather than being matched as a literal value (e.g. a crafted username can turn an equality match into a wildcard match, or close/reopen filter clauses), widening what the search returns and potentially causing a login or role lookup to match an LDAP entry other than the intended one, over-granting roles, and depending on deployment-specific filter templates, potentially affecting which account a login resolved to. The account recovery (password reset) functionality in the vulnerability-lookup web application contains a time-of-check-to-time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition in the consumption of single-use recovery tokens. The original implementation verified the token nonce against the stored digest and then consumed (cleared) it in separate database operations. Two concurrent HTTP requests presenting the same valid recovery token could both pass the verification check before either transaction committed, allowing both to set their own password on the target account. The last transaction to commit overwrites the first, enabling an attacker who possesses a valid recovery token to replace the legitimate user's password with one of their choosing. A secondary defect in the same endpoint (confirm_account) allowed a valid recovery link to be used to set an empty or trivially short password (e.g., three characters). The view handler performed only a manual equality comparison between the two password fields and never invoked the form's validation logic, bypassing the intended minimum-length and complexity constraints. The affected component is the user account recovery endpoint (/user/confirm_acco

heym before 0.0.105 does not act on the result of the credential authorization lookup in the Redis workflow node (backend/app/services/node_execution/nodes/redis_node.py). When _get_accessible_credential returns None — because the credential ID does not exist or the caller is not authorized to use it — the node treats the lookup failure as an empty configuration and falls back to defaults, connecting to localhost:6379 with no password and executing the requested operation there. The same fallback occurs when an accessible credential has an empty config or no redis_host value. An authenticated workflow author who supplies a credential ID they do not own, or one that was deleted, therefore obtains a read/write connection to whatever Redis is listening on the backend's loopback interface instead of an error. Impact depends on the deployment: the stock docker-compose.yml ships no Redis, in which case the flaw surfaces as a misleading connection error rather than data exposure.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: arm_scmi: Fix transport device teardown lookup SCMI transport devices are deliberately excluded from normal SCMI bus matching so protocol drivers cannot bind to the internal transport children. However, scmi_device_destroy() uses the same protocol/name lookup to find devices that must be unregistered during channel teardown. Split the match helper so driver matching still skips transport devices, while explicit child lookup can find them for teardown. Use a shared transport-device name prefix macro for both matching and name generation. Since transport-device names are derived from direction and protocol ID, reject duplicate protocol channel setup before creating or finding a transport device. This prevents malformed firmware with duplicate protocol child nodes from reusing an existing transport device and then destroying it when the duplicate IDR insertion fails.

Sibling endpoints such as POST /api/stripe/payment already enforced authentication via auth.api.getSession(); this endpoint had no access control whatsoever. The session_id is exposed in the buyer's own browser URL after payment (success_url = /result?session_id={CHECKOUT_SESSION_ID}), so it leaks through Referer headers, analytics tools, server access logs and shared-machine browser history, resulting in disclosure of the buyer's personal data to an unauthenticated actor.
