  • Oct 30, 2026When a server in pgAdmin 4 had no password file, client certificate or client key configured, or the configured one could not be found, pgAdmin left the parametCVE-2026-116247 · Other software · pgadmin.org · reported by f86ef6dc-4d3a-42ad-8f28-e6d5547a5007High 7.1

When a server in pgAdmin 4 had no password file, client certificate or client key configured, or the configured one could not be found, pgAdmin left the parameter out of the connection and libpq fell back to the defaults of the operating-system account running pgAdmin: ~/.pgpass, ~/.postgresql/postgresql.crt and postgresql.key, or PGPASSFILE, PGSSLCERT and PGSSLKEY. In server mode any user could therefore connect to a server with the service account's saved passwords or client certificate, and supplying only a copy of its public certificate was enough for libpq to pair it with the service account's private key. A pg_service.conf entry, or a maintenance database name read as a connection string by pg_dumpall, could bring the same files back for the utilities. The fix gives each of these parameters a value in server mode, the user's own file or otherwise a path that can never be opened, in the connection string, in the environment of the utilities and in the --dbname connection string that ranks above a service entry. Desktop mode is unchanged. This issue affects pgAdmin 4: before 9.19.

A memory-handling weakness in the BSON deserialization component of the MongoDB C# Driver may cause data left over from previously processed content to be returned when specially crafted serialized input is parsed. An unauthenticated party able to supply serialized data to an application that maps certain primitive collection types can cause residual bytes from unrelated data processed earlier on the same execution thread to be surfaced as legitimate values. This can result in disclosure of a limited amount of information belonging to other requests or principals of the consuming application. No authentication or special privileges within the application are required.

When a client sends a POST with Expect: 100-continue and the origin answers before reading the body, Apache Traffic Server parses the unread body left on the client connection as the next request. An attacker behind a front-end proxy that shares connections to Traffic Server can use this to smuggle requests past the front end and desynchronize responses for other users. This issue affects Apache Traffic Server: from 8.0.0 through 8.1.11, from 9.0.0 through 9.2.15, from 10.0.0 through 10.1.4, 10.2.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.2.16, 10.1.5, or 10.2.1, which fix the issue.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: proximity: pulsedlight: fix iio_device left registered on PM setup failure pm_runtime_set_active() failing in probe() jumps to error_unreg_buffer, which only calls iio_triggered_buffer_cleanup() -- it does not undo the iio_device_register() that already succeeded a few lines above. probe() then returns the error, the devm-managed indio_dev is freed, but the iio core still has it registered: the sysfs/chardev nodes stay live and point at freed memory. Add an error_unreg_dev label that unregisters the iio device before falling through to the existing buffer cleanup, mirroring the teardown order already used in lidar_remove().

  • Oct 17, 2026Coder before 2.34.7 contains an IP spoofing vulnerability in the ExtractRealIPAddress middleware that trusts the leftmost, client-supplied X-Forwarded-For valueCVE-2026-111934 · Other software · coder · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.3

Coder before 2.34.7 contains an IP spoofing vulnerability in the ExtractRealIPAddress middleware that trusts the leftmost, client-supplied X-Forwarded-For value instead of the client IP appended by a reverse proxy. Attackers can send forged X-Forwarded-For values through appending proxies to bypass per-IP rate limits on login, one-time passcode, and password validation endpoints, enabling brute-force attacks, and to falsify IP addresses recorded in audit logs.

  • Oct 7, 2026pgjdbc, the PostgreSQL JDBC Driver, versions 42.7.4 through 42.7.13 pads a value that is shorter than its declared length with bytes left in its send buffer insCVE-2026-107315 · Other software · pgjdbc · reported by f86ef6dc-4d3a-42ad-8f28-e6d5547a5007Medium 5.3

pgjdbc, the PostgreSQL JDBC Driver, versions 42.7.4 through 42.7.13 pads a value that is shorter than its declared length with bytes left in its send buffer instead of zeros, and the server stores those bytes as part of the value. The bytes are messages the driver sent earlier on the same connection: SQL text and parameter values of recent statements, which on a pooled connection can come from other requests. Each padded value can carry up to 8192 bytes of this traffic, or 16320 bytes on a connection with GSS encryption. The padding happens when an application declares a length larger than the data it supplies, through PreparedStatement.setObject with a ByteStreamWriter, CopyIn.writeToCopy, PGCopyOutputStream.write, LargeObject.write, or Blob.setBytes. The driver accepts these calls without an error. An attacker who can make the application store such a value and read it back can collect earlier traffic. Applications whose declared lengths always match their data are not affected. Versions 42.7.3 and earlier pad with zeros.

  • Sep 16, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSD: Prevent client use-after-free during close_lru reaping An nfs4_openowner left on nn-CVE-2026-90037 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSD: Prevent client use-after-free during close_lru reaping An nfs4_openowner left on nn->close_lru after its final CLOSE keeps its last closed stateid in oo_last_closed_stid, holding only a raw pointer to its nfs4_client. The laundromat reaps timed-out entries, drops nn->client_lock, and calls nfs4_put_stid(), which dereferences the client through cl_lock. Nothing pins the client across that window, so a concurrent force_expire_client() can free it and nfs4_put_stid() reads freed memory. __destroy_client() hits the same race, walking clp->cl_openowners without cl_lock. Pin the client with cl_rpc_users before dropping client_lock, and skip clients already expiring. __destroy_client() then cleans up its own close_lru entries through release_last_closed_stateid(), so teardown no longer races the laundromat.

  • Sep 16, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: video-i2c: fix kthread error pointer left in kthread_vid_cap on failure kthread_runCVE-2026-89871 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: video-i2c: fix kthread error pointer left in kthread_vid_cap on failure kthread_run() returns an ERR_PTR on failure, not NULL. When start_streaming() fails, data->kthread_vid_cap is left holding this error pointer instead of being cleared. This causes two subsequent bugs: 1. A future call to start_streaming() sees a non-NULL kthread_vid_cap and returns 0 (success) immediately, without actually starting the capture thread. 2. A call to stop_streaming() checks 'kthread_vid_cap == NULL' which is false for an error pointer, and proceeds to call kthread_stop() on the error pointer, leading to a kernel crash. Fix this by resetting kthread_vid_cap to NULL on failure before jumping to the error path.

  • Sep 4, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: ah6: validate routing header segments_left AH6 rearranges routing-header addresses bCVE-2026-80844 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: ah6: validate routing header segments_left AH6 rearranges routing-header addresses before computing or verifying the ICV. ipv6_rearrange_rthdr() assumes that segments_left is not larger than the number of addresses described by the routing header's hdrlen field. That assumption does not hold for raw IPv6 HDRINCL packets. A packet with hdrlen equal to 2 describes one address, but can carry an arbitrary segments_left value. With segments_left equal to 255, the function moves its address pointer 4,064 bytes backwards and passes a 4,064-byte length to memmove(), resulting in an out-of-bounds access. Validate the invariant locally before modifying the routing header or performing any address-pointer arithmetic, and propagate malformed-header errors to the existing AH6 input and output error paths.

Scriban before 7.0.0 (affected versions <= 6.6.0) contains an uncontrolled memory allocation vulnerability in the string.pad_left and string.pad_right template functions, which perform no validation on the width parameter before delegating to .NET's String.PadLeft/PadRight. When an application exposes Scriban to untrusted template input, an attacker can supply an arbitrarily large width value (e.g., 500,000,000) to trigger ~1GB memory allocations in a single call, resulting in OutOfMemoryException and denial of service. The TemplateContext.LimitToString limit does not prevent this because it is only enforced after the string has been fully allocated.

  • Jun 1, 2026A bug in Apache Airflow's auth manager logout handling left previously-issued JWT tokens valid after the user clicked logout in the UI: the logout flow for `FabCVE-2026-48726 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 6.5

A bug in Apache Airflow's auth manager logout handling left previously-issued JWT tokens valid after the user clicked logout in the UI: the logout flow for `FabAuthManager` and `KeycloakAuthManager` did not actually reach the underlying `revoke_token()` call, so the JWT remained accepted by the API server until its natural expiry. An attacker holding a previously-issued JWT for a logged-out user could continue to make authenticated API calls as that user. Affects deployments configured with `FabAuthManager` or `KeycloakAuthManager` (the bug does not affect SimpleAuthManager). This is a residual gap in the fix for CVE-2025-57735, which addressed cookie-side invalidation in PR #57992 / PR #61339 but did not cover the provider-side `revoke_token()` reachability in the FAB / Keycloak code paths. In RNP version 0.18.0 a refactoring regression causes the symmetric session key used for Public-Key Encrypted Session Key (PKESK) packets to be left uninitialized except for zeroing, resulting in it always being an all-zero byte array. Any data encrypted using public-key encryption in this release can be decrypted trivially by supplying an all-zero session key, fully compromising confidentiality. The vulnerability affects only public key encryption (PKESK packets).  Passphrase-based encryption (SKESK packets) is not affected. Root cause: Vulnerable session key buffer used in PKESK packet generation. The defect was introduced in commit `7bd9a8dc356aae756b40755be76d36205b6b161a` where initialization logic inside `encrypted_build_skesk()` only randomized the key for the SKESK path and omitted it for the PKESK path.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ceph: always call ceph_shift_unused_folios_left() The function ceph_process_folio_batch() sets folio_batch entries to NULL, which is an illegal state. Before folio_batch_release() crashes due to this API violation, the function ceph_shift_unused_folios_left() is supposed to remove those NULLs from the array. However, since commit ce80b76dd327 ("ceph: introduce ceph_process_folio_batch() method"), this shifting doesn't happen anymore because the "for" loop got moved to ceph_process_folio_batch(), and now the `i` variable that remains in ceph_writepages_start() doesn't get incremented anymore, making the shifting effectively unreachable much of the time. Later, commit 1551ec61dc55 ("ceph: introduce ceph_submit_write() method") added more preconditions for doing the shift, replacing the `i` check (with something that is still just as broken): - if ceph_process_folio_batch() fails, shifting never happens - if ceph_move_dirty_page_in_page_array() was never called (because ceph_process_folio_batch() has returned early for some of various reasons), shifting never happens - if `processed_in_fbatch` is zero (bec
