  • Oct 13, 2026Leantime is an open source project management system.CVE-2026-85990 · Other software · Leantime · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

Leantime is an open source project management system. Prior to 3.10.0, for the provisionally grouped account-creation and plugin-management surfaces, Leantime's JSON-RPC dispatcher in app/Domain/Api/Controllers/Jsonrpc.php exposes public API service methods, while PermissionEnforcer::enforce allows methods that lack a RequiresPermission attribute. A low-privilege authenticated user with an ordinary browser session can send the required X-Requested-With: XMLHttpRequest header and call leantime.rpc.api.api.createApiKeyWithProjects, which reaches Api::createApiKeyWithProjects, with an attacker-chosen role to create an interactive administrator account. The same missing per-method authorization exposes Plugins::installPlugin, Plugins::enablePlugin, Plugins::disablePlugin, and Plugins::removePlugin to ordinary authenticated users, permitting unauthorized plugin management. The complete provisionally grouped issue is fixed in version 3.10.0.

  • Aug 19, 2026Leantime JSON-RPC API through version 3.9.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the JSON-RPC dispatcher in app/Domain/Api/Controllers/Jsonrpc.php.CVE-2026-76647 · Other software · Leantime · reported by cret@cert.orgHigh 8.8

Leantime JSON-RPC API through version 3.9.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the JSON-RPC dispatcher in app/Domain/Api/Controllers/Jsonrpc.php. The dispatcher does not enforce authorization before invoking service-layer methods, allowing an authenticated user to call methods or act on resources outside their intended permissions. For example, the editOwn method accepts a user-supplied user ID without verifying that it belongs to the caller, allowing an attacker to modify another user's account and set a new password, resulting in account takeover. This vulnerability is distinct from CVE-2026-59712 and CVE-2026-15509 because the root cause is the lack of centralized authorization enforcement in the JSON-RPC dispatcher rather than the behavior of an individual exposed method.

  • Oct 19, 2023Leantime is an open source project management system.CVE-2023-45826 · Other software · Leantime · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Leantime is an open source project management system. A 'userId' variable in `app/domain/files/repositories/class.files.php` is not parameterized. An authenticated attacker can send a carefully crafted POST request to `/api/jsonrpc` to exploit an SQL injection vulnerability. Confidentiality is impacted as it allows for dumping information from the database. This issue has been addressed in version 2.4-beta-4. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.

  • Mar 31, 2020Leantime before versions 2.0.15 and 2.1-beta3 has a SQL Injection vulnerability.CVE-2020-5292 · Other software · Leantime · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

Leantime before versions 2.0.15 and 2.1-beta3 has a SQL Injection vulnerability. The impact is high. Malicious users/attackers can execute arbitrary SQL queries negatively affecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the site. Attackers can exfiltrate data like the users' and administrators' password hashes, modify data, or drop tables. The unescaped parameter is "searchUsers" when sending a POST request to "/tickets/showKanban" with a valid session. In the code, the parameter is named "users" in class.tickets.php. This issue is fixed in versions 2.0.15 and 2.1.0 beta 3.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
