Oct 28, 2026identrail is a machine identity security platform for AWS, GitHub/OIDC, and Kubernetes.CVE-2026-59185 · Other software · identrail · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5
identrail is a machine identity security platform for AWS, GitHub/OIDC, and Kubernetes. Prior to 1.0.2, the default-on `POST /v1/workspaces/:workspace_id/projects/:project_id/github/connect/complete` endpoint in `internal/api/router.go` accepts `installation_id` from the request body or `X-GitHub-Installation-ID` header without verifying the installation belongs to the caller's workspace. `CompleteGitHubConnection` in `internal/api/github_connect.go` rigorously binds `state` to the caller's tenant, workspace, and project, but checks only that the installation ID is positive before persisting it as the caller's connection. `ListInstallationRepositories` in `internal/connectors/github/repositories.go` invokes token creation through `internal/connectors/github/app.go` and `POST /app/installations/{installationId}/access_tokens`, using the application's JWT. An authenticated tenant who starts a legitimate connection can supply another customer's non-secret installation ID to read the victim organization's private repository inventory, content, and metadata or drive posture scans, provided identrail's GitHub App is installed there. The default-off V2 `CompleteGitHubConnector` path share

An NTLM coercion vulnerability exists on Windows nodes when the subPath supplied in a pod's volumeMounts is set to a symbolic link that points to an attacker-controlled network share. When a kubelet resolves symlinks, it does not reject a target that resolves to a UNC path. As a result, the kubelet will transparently attempt to authenticate to the share using NTLM. This allows an attacker to obtain the NetNTLMv2 hash of the account under which the kubelet is running. An attacker could then attempt to crack the hash to retrieve the corresponding password or relay it to impersonate the node, if the node is domain-joined.

Oct 26, 2026A confused deputy attack exists in the StatefulSet controller that allows a user with namespace-scoped write permissions on StatefulSet and ControllerRevision oCVE-2026-2270 · Other software · Kubernetes · reported by jordan@liggitt.netMedium 5.9
A confused deputy attack exists in the StatefulSet controller that allows a user with namespace-scoped write permissions on StatefulSet and ControllerRevision objects to create a cross-namespace pod. An attacker exploiting this vulnerability would have full control over the resulting pod’s metadata and specification, including namespace selection. Note that the cross-namespace pod will be immediately deleted by the garbage collector unless the attacker is able to construct a valid StatefulSet OwnerReference. This would require referencing the UID of an existing StatefulSet in the victim’s namespace.

Oct 26, 2026Burrito is a Terraform Automation Collaboration Software (TACoS) Kubernetes operator.CVE-2026-102649 · Other software · padok-team · reported by GitHubCritical 9.9
Burrito is a Terraform Automation Collaboration Software (TACoS) Kubernetes operator. Prior to 0.13.0, `POST /api/webhook` accepts unsigned GitHub and GitLab events when a `TerraformRepository`'s credentials omit `webhookSecret` or set it to an empty value, including credentials configured for git authentication and polling. `Credential.WebhookSecret` is optional, and `go-playground/webhooks` skips signature or token verification when the secret is empty. Anyone who can reach `burrito-server`'s endpoint and knows a tracked repository's URL can forge events to create or delete `TerraformPullRequest` custom resources with attacker-chosen `Branch`, `Base`, and `ID` fields. For GitHub `pull_request` events, the controller fetches changed files using the real pull request number but does not cross-check the payload's branch against that pull request. Pairing a real, existing pull request number with an unrelated existing branch in the same repository can therefore cause an unauthorized `terraform plan` for affected layers using the operator's stored git and cloud credentials. Code analysis also indicates that the resulting plan can be posted to the real pull request's comment thread, ex

Oct 23, 2026If an attacker can write to the filesystem of a container k8s cluster container, they can plant an exec credential plugin in /etc/kubernetes/admin.conf.CVE-2026-113951 · Computers, phones & browsers · Apple · reported by product-security@apple.com
If an attacker can write to the filesystem of a container k8s cluster container, they can plant an exec credential plugin in /etc/kubernetes/admin.conf. kubectl will run that plugin as the macOS host user the next time someone pulls the cluster's kubeconfig onto the host with container k8s write-config or create and then runs kubectl against it — turning filesystem access inside an untrusted Linux container into arbitrary command execution on the host. This vulnerability is addressed in Container version 1.5.0.

Oct 21, 2026Lagoon is an application delivery platform for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-113788 · Other software · uselagoon · reported by GitHubCritical 9.4
Lagoon is an application delivery platform for Kubernetes. Versions prior to 2.33.1 have a vulnerability in the `ssh` service in Lagoon core that would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code which could lead to, among other things, elevated administrative permissions. It is mitigated by the fact that an attacker must have a Lagoon user account. Exploitation may be detected by checking the container logs of the `ssh` service for: `too many arguments`. The vulnerability was fixed in Lagoon v2.33.2, which is included in the `lagoon/lagoon-core` helm chart v1.62.2. As a workaround, the `ssh` service in Lagoon core can be disabled. The `ssh-portal` service and components are not effected and can continue to be used.

Oct 20, 2026OpenChoreo is a developer platform for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-113727 · Other software · openchoreo · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4
OpenChoreo is a developer platform for Kubernetes. From 1.0.0 until 1.0.6, 1.1.7, and 1.2.5, the PUT .../workflowruns/{runName} update route authorizes a request using the openchoreo.dev/project and openchoreo.dev/component labels in the submitted body while selecting the stored WorkflowRun by the URL path. An authenticated caller with workflowrun:update for one project or component in the same namespace can name another run in the path, submit ownership labels for a scope they control, and rewrite the victim run's ownership labels. Subsequent authorization then treats the attacker as authorized to read build logs and Kubernetes events, delete the run, modify pending spec.workflow.parameters, or place the run into a permanent ComponentValidationFailed state. The namespace comes from the URL, so the issue is cross-project or cross-component within one namespace and is not anonymously reachable or cross-tenant. This issue is fixed in 1.0.6, 1.1.7, and 1.2.5.

Oct 20, 2026Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-113709 · Other software · argoproj · reported by GitHubCritical 9.9
Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. From 2.1.0 until 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2, when an operator has enabled --enable-helm for kustomize build, helmGlobals.configHome can point Helm's config and data directories at a repository-controlled location. Helm automatically loads a downloader plugin from `<configHome>/.data/plugins` without a separate plugin-install step and executes its program inside argocd-repo-server when a helmCharts repository URL uses the plugin's protocol. The command runs as the repo-server user and can read repository credentials and other process-accessible data. An attacker can commit the Kustomization and plugin to a Git repository that an Application builds or upload the files through POST /api/v1/applications/manifestsWithFiles, also exposed by argocd app diff --local --server-side-generate. The upload path requires only Application get permission on an existing Application, without Application update or sync permission or repository write access. Both delivery paths require prior operator enablement of --enable-helm; deployments that do not enable it are not affected. Kustomize 4.1.0 first passed helmGlobals

Oct 20, 2026Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-113708 · Other software · argoproj · reported by GitHubCritical 9.9
Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. From 2.7.0 until 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2, Kustomize passes ref or version query values from remote resource, base, or component URLs to git fetch without an end-of-options separator. A leading-hyphen value can be parsed as --upload-pack and execute a command inside argocd-repo-server when the remote uses a local transport such as file://. Git does not run the supplied command for an https:// remote. The local transport does not leave the pod, so blocking repo-server egress does not prevent the execution. The command runs as the repo-server user, can read repository credentials and other process-accessible data, and can return output through manifest-generation errors. An attacker can commit a Kustomization to a Git repository that an Application builds or upload files through POST /api/v1/applications/manifestsWithFiles, also exposed by argocd app diff --local --server-side-generate. The upload path requires only Application get permission on an existing Application, without Application update or sync permission or repository write access. Oct 20, 2026Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-113672 · Other software · argoproj · reported by GitHubCritical 9.9
Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. From 0.9.0 until 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2, the repo-server evaluates .jsonnet files with an importer that does not confine import, importstr, or importbin to the repository root. Absolute paths, parent-directory traversal, and repository symlinks can open any file readable by the repo-server, including /proc/self/environ, projected service-account tokens, mounted private keys, and repository credentials. Although generated Secrets are redacted, placing imported contents in a ConfigMap returns the data to the caller. Using importstr on a non-terminating device such as /dev/zero can exhaust repo-server memory. An attacker can commit a .jsonnet file to a Git repository used by an Application or upload the file through POST /api/v1/applications/manifestsWithFiles, also exposed by argocd app diff --local --server-side-generate. Oct 14, 2026Talos Linux is a Linux distribution built for Kubernetes deployments.CVE-2026-77564 · Other software · siderolabs · reported by GitHubLow 3.3
Talos Linux is a Linux distribution built for Kubernetes deployments. Prior to 1.12.9 and 1.13.3, talosctl support includes the auth field from resources/registryconfigs.cri.talos.dev.yaml and sensitive content from etcfilespecs.files.talos.dev.yaml in generated support bundles instead of marking or redacting those resources. An operator who shares a bundle with an unintended party can therefore disclose private registry authentication parameters, with impact depending on the registry's network exposure and credential privileges. Oct 14, 2026KEDA is a Kubernetes-based Event Driven Autoscaling component.CVE-2026-77524 · Other software · kedacore · reported by GitHubCritical 9.9
KEDA is a Kubernetes-based Event Driven Autoscaling component. In version 2.20.2 and earlier, a namespace administrator who can create TriggerAuthentication and ScaledObject resources can set hashiCorpVault.address to a tenant-controlled endpoint and select Kubernetes authentication without an explicit credential. KEDA then uses the operator pod's projected ServiceAccount token and sends it to that endpoint as a Vault login credential. The JWT-shape filter from the prior CVE-2025-68476 remediation accepts the operator token because its subject is a Kubernetes ServiceAccount, so the attacker can obtain the operator's cluster-wide permissions, including broad Secret reads and workload or admission-related operations. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.21.0.

An authentication and authorization bypass vulnerability exists in F5 NGINX Kubernetes Ingress Controller (NIC) when configured with the `ExternalAuth` policy or Ingress external authentication. Client-supplied X-Forwarded-Prefix, X-Forwarded-URI, X-Original-URI, and X-Forwarded-Method routing and method headers are forwarded unsanitized into the internal authentication subrequest (handled by the NGINX auth_request directive). As a result, an unauthenticated, remote attacker may spoof request attributes evaluated by the external authentication provider. Oct 13, 2026Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-77459 · Other software · argoproj · reported by GitHubCritical 9.9
Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. From 2.10.0 until 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2, Argo CD creates PostDelete resource hooks without applying the AppProject destination and resource authorization checks used during ordinary synchronization. The omitted checks include cluster-scoped and namespaced resource allow/deny lists. A user who can write to an Application's Git repository can commit a delete hook targeting a forbidden namespace, server, group, kind, or resource name, and deletion of the Application causes the application-controller to create that resource with its destination-cluster credentials. The reachable impact is bounded by the controller's cluster access but can include cluster-scoped resources, disallowed namespaces, persistent hook objects, and secondary objects created by a hook Job. PreSync, Sync, PostSync, and SyncFail hooks continue to use the normal project checks. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2.

An authorization vulnerability in Apache DolphinScheduler allows authenticated non-admin users to retrieve Kubernetes configuration data intended for administrator-managed cluster configuration. The exposed kubeconfig data contains credentials that may allow users to authenticate directly to the Kubernetes API outside DolphinScheduler. The impact depends on the permissions granted to the disclosed credentials. If the kubeconfig provides cluster-admin or broadly privileged service-account access, an attacker may read Kubernetes Secrets, create pods, and establish persistent access to the cluster. Oct 5, 2026A flaw was found in the HyperShift operator.CVE-2026-101919 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 8.8
A flaw was found in the HyperShift operator. The operator copies user-provided Kubernetes configuration (kubeconfig) secrets directly into the privileged control plane namespace without proper validation or sanitization. An authenticated user with cluster and secret creation permissions can exploit this vulnerability by supplying a configuration containing unauthorized executable plugins. When downstream controllers consume this configuration, an attacker can achieve arbitrary code execution within the control plane.

Sep 28, 2026A path traversal vulnerability was discovered in the Kubernetes kubectl client's kubectl cp command on Windows.CVE-2026-19444 · Other software · Kubernetes · reported by jordan@liggitt.netMedium 6.5
A path traversal vulnerability was discovered in the Kubernetes kubectl client's kubectl cp command on Windows. When copying files from a container, kubectl runs tar inside the container to build a tar archive, transfers it over the network, and unpacks it on the local machine. If the tar binary in the container is malicious, it can execute arbitrary code and emit unexpected output, allowing an attacker who controls container contents to write files to arbitrary paths on the user's local machine when kubectl cp is invoked, limited only by the system permissions of the local user. This issue only affects kubectl clients running on Windows.

Sep 26, 2026Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-100839 · Other software · edgelesssys · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.4
Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes. In versions before 1.18.0, the guest kernel's ACPI/AML handling is vulnerable to an AML injection attack ("BadAML"). ACPI tables containing AML bytecode are passed from the untrusted host (QEMU) to the guest firmware (OVMF) and on to the Linux kernel, whose AML interpreter executes them. An attacker controlling the host — an assumed adversary in Contrast's threat model — can craft a table with malicious, Turing-complete AML bytecode that the guest kernel interprets with access to the full guest memory, including private pages, resulting in arbitrary code execution and disclosure or modification of confidential guest data. The issue affects the AMD SEV-SNP platforms Metal-QEMU-SNP and Metal-QEMU-SNP-GPU; Metal-QEMU-TDX is not affected because ACPI table contents are measured into RTMR 0 by OVMF on Intel TDX. Version v1.18.0 mitigates the attack by sandboxing the kernel AML interpreter so that it cannot read or write private memory pages. This weakness is not specific to Contrast but is generic to Confidential Computing setups that expose the ACPI interface to the host.

Sep 26, 2026Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-100838 · Other software · edgelesssys · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.6
Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes. In versions before 1.19.1, the Kata agent policies generated by the Contrast CLI contained a flaw in the CopyFile verification that allowed arbitrary writes to the guest root filesystem. A malicious process on the untrusted host able to connect to the Kata agent VSOCK could issue a series of CopyFile requests to overwrite security-critical files in the guest or trick the workload into disclosing sensitive data, effectively amounting to a full guest takeover. Users unable to upgrade can apply an equivalent rego policy fix passed to 'contrast generate --policy'.

Sep 26, 2026Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes.CVE-2025-71426 · Other software · edgelesssys · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1
Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes. In versions before 1.4.1, a recovering Coordinator does not verify the seed supplied by the recovering party. An attacker can therefore stand up a rogue Coordinator whose manifest passes validation but whose secret seed is attacker-controlled. If network traffic is redirected from the legitimate Coordinator to the attacker's Coordinator, a workload owner can be impersonated when they either set a new manifest without comparing the returned root CA certificate against the existing one (the default behavior of the contrast CLI) or verify the Coordinator without comparing the root CA certificate against a trusted reference. Under these conditions the attacker can issue certificates that chain back to the rogue Coordinator's root CA and recover arbitrary workload secrets of workloads deployed after the attack. Secrets of the legitimate Coordinator (seed, workload secrets, CA), workload integrity, and certificates chaining to the mesh CA are not affected.

Sep 26, 2026Contrast (Edgeless Systems) before 1.8.1 logs the workload secret to stderr, and thus to Kubernetes logs, when the Contrast initializer is configured with CONTRCVE-2025-71425 · Other software · edgelesssys · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.5
Contrast (Edgeless Systems) before 1.8.1 logs the workload secret to stderr, and thus to Kubernetes logs, when the Contrast initializer is configured with CONTRAST_LOG_LEVEL set to info or debug. Because info is the default, all installations that do not customize the initializer log level are affected. This exposes workload secrets — normally accessible only to the Contrast Coordinator, the initializer, the seedshare owner, and the workload owner — to Kubernetes users with get or list permission on pods/logs and to anyone with read access to the Kubernetes log storage, such as the cloud provider. Deployments that do not use workload secrets are unaffected.

Sep 26, 2026Contrast, Edgeless Systems' runtime for confidential containers on Kubernetes, is affected in versions up to and including 1.9.0.CVE-2025-71424 · Other software · edgelesssys · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.1
Contrast, Edgeless Systems' runtime for confidential containers on Kubernetes, is affected in versions up to and including 1.9.0. The VOLUME directive in a Dockerfile (config.volumes in the OCI image configuration) is only a hint and is not handled specially by Kubernetes, but containerd adds a mount point for it when Kubernetes sets none, requiring the runtime to be able to push arbitrary data to the Kata agent. As a result, on bare-metal Contrast deployments (AKS deployments are not affected) that run an image declaring at least one VOLUME for which no Kubernetes mount exists at that path, the untrusted host can write arbitrary file trees below that mount point inside the confidential container, compromising the integrity of a directory that is typically important to the application's core functionality. Version 1.9.1 fixes the issue by disallowing this configuration in `contrast generate`.

Sep 26, 2026Edgelesssys Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes.CVE-2025-71423 · Other software · edgelesssys · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.5
Edgelesssys Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes. In versions 1.9.0 before 1.12.2, the initializer logs the full NewMeshCert response — which contains the workload secret — to standard output at INFO level. As a result, workload secrets are exposed to any Kubernetes user with get or list permission on pods/logs. Because workload secrets are used for encrypted storage and Vault integration, those must also be considered compromised. This is a regression of GHSA-h5f8-crrq-4pw8.

Sep 26, 2026Contrast is a Kubernetes runtime for confidential containers.CVE-2025-71422 · Other software · edgelesssys · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9
Contrast is a Kubernetes runtime for confidential containers. In versions before 1.12.1, the secure persistent volume feature is vulnerable to a malicious host supplying a crafted LUKS2 volume to a pod VM. LUKS2 volume metadata is not authenticated and, with cryptsetup versions prior to 2.8.1, a header specifying the null keyslot encryption algorithm (cipher_null-ecb) is accepted without error. Because the Contrast Initializer assumes a device is protected if `cryptsetup open` succeeds with the secret seed, the guest will open the attacker-supplied volume and write secret data in plaintext, or under a volume key known to the attacker, allowing the host to read confidential data that should have been encrypted. Contrast v1.12.1 ships cryptsetup 2.8.1, which disables null ciphers in keyslots when the passphrase is non-empty; v1.13.0 adds detached-header validation in guest memory and integrity protection for secure persistent storage. Contrast persistent volumes were not integrity protected, so integrity impact is not considered.

Sep 26, 2026Kyverno is a policy engine for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-100704 · Other software · kyverno · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.3
Kyverno is a policy engine for Kubernetes. In versions 1.14.0 through 1.19.0, the ImageValidatingPolicy (policies.kyverno.io/v1beta1) evaluator never reads the spec.images and spec.allowedValues fields of a PolicyException. Any PolicyException whose policyRefs and matchConditions match a resource causes image signature verification to be skipped for the entire resource rather than only for the listed images or values, so an exception intended to exempt a single trusted image exempts every image on the matched resource(s). As a result, unsigned or untrusted images can be admitted to the cluster without signature verification. This differs from ValidatingPolicy, GeneratingPolicy, and MutatingPolicy, which treat the same field as a partial exemption. The issue is fixed in version 1.19.1.

Sep 22, 2026Gardener implements the automated management and operation of Kubernetes clusters as a service.CVE-2026-79767 · Other software · gardener · reported by GitHubMedium 5.5
Gardener implements the automated management and operation of Kubernetes clusters as a service. Prior to 1.142.6, 1.143.3, 1.144.2, and 1.145.0, the customverbauthorizer admission plugin's mustCheckProjectMembers manage-members check compares changes to User subjects but does not account for Group or ServiceAccount subjects in Project.spec.members. A project administrator who lacks manage-members permission can add arbitrary Group or ServiceAccount subjects, including the system:authenticated Group, and thereby grant broad project access. The resulting access can include Shoots, Secrets, and cloud provider credentials. This issue is fixed in versions 1.142.6, 1.143.3, 1.144.2, and 1.145.0.

Sep 21, 2026A vulnerability in CRI-O checkpoint restore allows a user who can create a pod from a malicious checkpointed container to bypass the destination Kubernetes secuCVE-2026-92574 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 8.8
A vulnerability in CRI-O checkpoint restore allows a user who can create a pod from a malicious checkpointed container to bypass the destination Kubernetes security context. The restored process may retain credentials, Linux capabilities, no_new_privs, and seccomp state from the checkpoint instead of enforcing the destination configuration. This can allow execution with elevated privileges across the container security boundary. Affected upstream supported versions are CRI-O 1.34 and later. Downstream Red Hat products are affected from OCP 4.17 onward. Fixes have been applied to supported branches but are not yet released. Exploitation requires permission to create a pod from a malicious checkpoint image and checkpoint restore functionality to be available.

Sep 18, 2026Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-61795 · Other software · projectcapsule · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8
Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes. From 0.13.0 until 0.13.7, hostnameRegexHandler.OnUpdate in internal/webhook/tenant/validation/hostname_regex.go reverses the new and old Tenant parameters and validates the previous AllowedHostnames.Regex instead of the submitted value. A cluster administrator can therefore store a malformed AllowedHostnames.Regex after the webhook accepts the update based on stale valid state. Subsequent Ingress creation or update reaches validate_hostnames.go, which evaluates the malformed pattern, ignores the regular-expression error, and treats every hostname as unmatched, blocking Ingress operations for the affected tenant until an administrator repairs the Tenant configuration. This issue is fixed in version 0.13.7.

Sep 18, 2026Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-61794 · Other software · projectcapsule · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8
Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes. From 0.13.0 until 0.13.7, the Tenant update validation in internal/webhook/tenant/validation/forbidden_annotations_regex.go compiles ForbiddenLabels.Regex for both the labels and annotations checks instead of validating ForbiddenAnnotations.Regex. An administrator who can update a Tenant can therefore persist a malformed ForbiddenAnnotations.Regex while leaving the labels expression valid. Namespace creation or update later passes the stored expression through pkg/api/forbidden_list.go, where regexp.MustCompile can panic during forbidden metadata validation and deny namespace operations for the affected tenant. This issue is fixed in version 0.13.7.

Sep 18, 2026Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-61672 · Other software · projectcapsule · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes. Prior to 0.13.7, ForbiddenListSpec.ExactMatch in pkg/api/forbidden_list.go sorts denied metadata keys case-insensitively and then uses sort.SearchStrings, which assumes byte-order sorting. When an administrator's forbidden list mixes capitalized and lowercase keys or otherwise has different case-insensitive and byte ordering, the binary search can return false for a key that is present. An authenticated tenant owner can then pass the missed key through api.ValidateForbidden and bypass configured namespace, Service, or delegated node metadata restrictions, potentially influencing cluster policies, network exposure, or scheduling outside the tenant boundary. Uniformly lowercase lists whose two orderings coincide are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.13.7.
