  • Oct 21, 2026Storybook is a frontend workshop for building user interface components and pages in isolation.CVE-2026-114126 · Other software · storybookjs · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

Storybook is a frontend workshop for building user interface components and pages in isolation. From 8.0.0 until 8.6.19, 9.1.21, 10.6.2, and 11.0.0-alpha.6, the Storybook development server can expose its WebSocket authentication token to clients able to load its HTML pages over a local network. A LAN attacker can obtain the token and invoke WebSocket-backed file-writing or testing functionality. Weak story-write validation can allow code to be placed in story files. If the Storybook Vitest addon is installed with an old version of Vitest, the payload can use a Vitest API to write additional files or execute commands. Depending on the payload and local tooling, the attack can lead to code execution with the developer's privileges. This issue is fixed in 8.6.19, 9.1.21, 10.6.2, and 11.0.0-alpha.6.

  • Oct 21, 2026Storybook is a frontend workshop for building user interface components and pages in isolation.CVE-2026-114125 · Other software · storybookjs · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6

Storybook is a frontend workshop for building user interface components and pages in isolation. From 8.0.0 until 8.6.19, 9.1.21, 10.6.2, and 11.0.0-alpha.6, a malicious website can interact with the preview of a running Storybook development server. Insufficient iframe embedding and message-origin restrictions can allow attacker-controlled events to reach the running preview. A developer must visit the malicious website and interact with the injected interface. The attack can cause unauthorized changes to story files and, if a changed file is later executed by a local runtime, arbitrary code execution with the developer's privileges. This issue is fixed in 8.6.19, 9.1.21, 10.6.2, and 11.0.0-alpha.6.

  • Sep 9, 2026alf.io is an open source ticket reservation system for conferences, trade shows, workshops, and meetups.CVE-2026-50165 · Other software · alfio-event · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

alf.io is an open source ticket reservation system for conferences, trade shows, workshops, and meetups. An Improper Access Control issue in versions prior to 2.0-M5-2605 allows an organization owner to read system-level configuration secrets through organization/event scoped "single configuration" endpoints. The affected endpoints require organization or event ownership, but they accept an arbitrary configuration key and then return the first matching value from a lookup that includes system-level configuration. As a result, an organization owner can retrieve secrets intended to be administrator-only, including the system API key when it is configured. Version 2.0-M5-2605 fixes the issue.

  • Jun 2, 2026alf.io is an open source ticket reservation system for conferences, trade shows, workshops, and meetups.CVE-2026-41412 · Other software · alfio-event · reported by GitHubMedium 4.9

alf.io is an open source ticket reservation system for conferences, trade shows, workshops, and meetups. Prior to version 2.0-M5-2606, the alf.io extension sandbox injects a fully-functional HTTP client (`simpleHttpClient`) into every extension script's scope. The `postFileAndSaveResponse()` method accepts an arbitrary filesystem path as its `file` parameter and reads the file contents using `new FileInputStream(file)` with no path validation, directory restriction, or allowlist. A malicious extension script can read any file accessible to the JVM process user and exfiltrate it to an attacker-controlled server via HTTP POST. Version 2.0-M5-2606 patches the issue.

  • Jun 2, 2026alf.io is an open source ticket reservation system for conferences, trade shows, workshops, and meetups.CVE-2026-35482 · Other software · alfio-event · reported by GitHubHigh 8

alf.io is an open source ticket reservation system for conferences, trade shows, workshops, and meetups. Prior to version 2.0-M5-2606, a sandbox escape vulnerability in the alf.io extension script engine allows an authenticated administrator to execute arbitrary operating system commands on the server. The extension system is intended to execute restricted JavaScript in a sandboxed Rhino environment; however, a combination of an unguarded injected Java object (`returnClass`) and an incomplete AST blocklist allows the sandbox to be fully escaped using Java reflection without triggering any validation errors. Version 2.0-M5-2606 patches the issue.

  • Feb 25, 2026Storybook is a frontend workshop for building user interface components and pages in isolation.CVE-2026-27148 · Other software · storybookjs · reported by GitHubHigh 8.9

Storybook is a frontend workshop for building user interface components and pages in isolation. Prior to versions 7.6.23, 8.6.17, 9.1.19, and 10.2.10, the WebSocket functionality in Storybook's dev server, used to create and update stories, is vulnerable to WebSocket hijacking. This vulnerability only affects the Storybook dev server; production builds are not impacted. Exploitation requires a developer to visit a malicious website while their local Storybook dev server is running. Because the WebSocket connection does not validate the origin of incoming connections, a malicious site can silently send WebSocket messages to the local instance without any further user interaction. If the Storybook dev server is intentionally exposed publicly (e.g. for design reviews or stakeholder demos) the risk is higher, as no malicious site visit is required. Any unauthenticated attacker can send WebSocket messages to it directly. The vulnerability affects the WebSocket message handlers for creating and saving stories. Both are vulnerable to injection via unsanitized input in the componentFilePath field, which can be exploited to achieve persistent XSS or Remote Code Execution (RCE). Versions 7.6

  • Dec 17, 2025Storybook is a frontend workshop for building user interface components and pages in isolation.CVE-2025-68429 · Other software · storybookjs · reported by GitHubHigh 7.3

Storybook is a frontend workshop for building user interface components and pages in isolation. A vulnerability present starting in versions 7.0.0 and prior to versions 7.6.21, 8.6.15, 9.1.17, and 10.1.10 relates to Storybook’s handling of environment variables defined in a `.env` file, which could, in specific circumstances, lead to those variables being unexpectedly bundled into the artifacts created by the `storybook build` command. When a built Storybook is published to the web, the bundle’s source is viewable, thus potentially exposing those variables to anyone with access. For a project to potentially be vulnerable to this issue, it must build the Storybook (i.e. run `storybook build` directly or indirectly) in a directory that contains a `.env` file (including variants like `.env.local`) and publish the built Storybook to the web. Storybooks built without a `.env` file at build time are not affected, including common CI-based builds where secrets are provided via platform environment variables rather than `.env` files. Storybook runtime environments (i.e. `storybook dev`) are not affected. Deployed applications that share a repo with your Storybook are not affected. Users sh

alf.io is an open source ticket reservation system for conferences, trade shows, workshops, and meetups. Prior to version 2.0-M5, a race condition allows the user to bypass the limit on the number of promo codes and use the discount coupon multiple times. In "alf.io", an event organizer can apply price discounts by using promo codes to your events. The organizer can limit the number of promo codes that will be used for this, but the time-gap between checking the number of codes and restricting the use of the codes allows a threat actor to bypass the promo code limit. Version 2.0-M5 fixes this issue.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
