  • Oct 28, 2026FOG is a free open-source cloning/imaging/rescue suite/inventory management system.CVE-2026-116778 · Other software · FOGProject · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

FOG is a free open-source cloning/imaging/rescue suite/inventory management system. Prior to 1.5.10.2253 and 1.6.0-RC-1, an authenticated API-enabled user with uType=1 who possesses both the user's API token and the global FOG API token can use PUT /fog/storagenode/{id}/edit to modify Storage Node user, pass, and ftppath fields because the API validates the credentials but does not enforce an administrator-only role. With storage replication enabled and a usable Storage Node, FOGImageReplicator interpolates those fields into an lftp command executed through proc_open() by the root-running service, allowing the low-privileged user to execute commands as root. This issue is fixed in versions 1.5.10.2253 and 1.6.0-RC-1.

  • Oct 23, 2026Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components.CVE-2026-86055 · Other software · Part-DB · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components. Prior to version 2.13.3, Part-DB builds the absolute URL of the password-reset link it emails to a user from the client-supplied HTTP Host header, with no trusted-host validation. An unauthenticated attacker who submits a forgot-password request for a known account while sending a spoofed Host header causes Part-DB to email that account a reset link whose hostname is attacker-controlled, while still embedding the genuine reset token. When the victim opens the link (or an automated inbound mail-security scanner dereferences it), the valid token is disclosed to the attacker, who replays it against the real instance to set a new password and take over the account. Because the seeded admin account can be targeted, this yields full pre-authentication administrative account takeover. This issue has been patched in version 2.13.3.

  • Oct 23, 2026Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components.CVE-2026-86020 · Other software · Part-DB · reported by GitHubMedium 4.6

Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components. Prior to version 2.13.2, Part-DB contains a spreadsheet formula injection vulnerability in the part import/export workflow. An authenticated user with permission to import parts can import a CSV file containing formula-prefixed values, such as =1+1, into user-controlled part fields. When the affected part is later exported as an XLSX spreadsheet, Part-DB writes the attacker-controlled value using PhpSpreadsheet's setCellValue() method without neutralising spreadsheet formula characters. As a result, the exported XLSX file contains an executable spreadsheet formula cell rather than a plain text value. If another user exports and opens the spreadsheet, the formula may be evaluated by their spreadsheet software. This issue has been patched in version 2.13.2.

  • Oct 23, 2026Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components.CVE-2026-86019 · Other software · Part-DB · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components. Prior to version 2.13.2, Part-DB allows authenticated API users to bypass the configured maximum attachment file size by uploading attachments through the API using base64-encoded file data. The application enforces the configured attachment size limit for normal browser-based file uploads, but the API base64 upload path does not apply the same size validation. As a result, an authenticated user with API access and permission to create attachments can upload files larger than the configured maximum attachment size, potentially exhausting disk space and causing a denial of service. This issue has been patched in version 2.13.2.

Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components. Prior to version 2.13.2, Part-DB allows authenticated users to bypass the configured maximum attachment file size when using the server-side “Download external file” attachment feature. When server-side attachment downloads are enabled, Part-DB downloads the remote file and streams it directly to disk without enforcing the configured MAX_ATTACHMENT_FILE_SIZE limit. As a result, an authenticated user who can create or edit attachments can cause Part-DB to store files larger than the configured maximum attachment size, potentially exhausting disk space and causing a denial of service. This issue has been patched in version 2.13.2.

  • Oct 23, 2026Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components.CVE-2026-59188 · Other software · Part-DB · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components. Prior to version 2.12.3, Part-DB-server sanitizes SVG files based solely on the user-controlled filename extension rather than actual file content type. An authenticated attacker can upload a malicious SVG with JavaScript payload using a non-SVG extension (e.g., .jpg), bypassing sanitization entirely. When any user views the attachment inline, the browser receives Content-Type: image/svg+xml and executes the embedded script in the Part-DB origin. This issue has been patched in version 2.12.3.

  • Oct 23, 2026Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components.CVE-2026-55600 · Other software · Part-DB · reported by GitHubMedium 5.7

Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components. Prior to version 2.12.2, Part-DB renders BOM validation information messages using Twig's |raw filter. These messages include translated placeholders populated with user-controlled Part names. A user who can edit a Part name can store HTML markup in the Part name. When another user imports a BOM CSV referencing that Part ID, the malicious Part name is rendered as HTML in the victim's BOM validation result page. This results in a cross-user stored HTML injection issue. JavaScript execution appears to be blocked by the current Content Security Policy, but arbitrary HTML links, forms, images, and CSS-based UI elements can still be injected into a trusted Part-DB page. This issue has been patched in version 2.12.2.

  • Oct 23, 2026Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components.CVE-2026-54631 · Other software · Part-DB · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3

Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components. Prior to version 2.12.1, the file .env committed in the Part-DB repository contains a fixed value for APP_SECRET (a03498528f5a5fc089273ec9ae5b2849). The official Docker image jbtronics/part-db1 does not override or randomize this value at container start-up. Because Symfony uses APP_SECRET (via kernel.secret) as the HMAC key for signing remember-me cookies, any attacker who knows the secret -- or fetches it from the public repository -- can forge an arbitrary-user remember-me cookie and gain a fully authenticated session with no credentials required. This issue has been patched in version 2.12.1.

  • Oct 23, 2026Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components.CVE-2026-54630 · Other software · Part-DB · reported by GitHubCritical 9.6

Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components. Prior to version 2.12.1, the part attachment upload handler stores uploaded files under the web-served media directory using the client-supplied file extension, and its extension blocklist does not include phar. AttachmentSubmitHandler::renameBlacklistedExtensions() rewrites dangerous extensions (php, phtml, sh, cgi, py, js, html, htaccess, ...) to .txt, but phar is absent from the list, so a .phar file keeps its extension. Public attachments (the default) are written into public/media/, which is the Apache document root. The shipped Apache configuration routes .phar to PHP-FPM, so the stored file is executed as PHP on request. The per-attachment-type extension filter is empty by default and is not consulted by the upload handler in a way that blocks this, and a non-admin user in the default users group can create an attachment type with no filter and attach files to parts. Any authenticated user in the default users group uploads a .phar attachment to a part and fetches it under /media/, executing arbitrary PHP as the www-data web user. Ability to exploit depends on the webserver config, docker image

  • Oct 23, 2026Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components.CVE-2026-54615 · Other software · Part-DB · reported by GitHubMedium 6

Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components. Prior to version 2.12.1, LogEntryExtraFormatter builds the HTML shown in the "Extra" column of the activity-log table (/log) and in element history tables. Every branch of LogEntryExtraFormatter::getInternalFormat() runs user-controlled strings through htmlspecialchars() before placing them into the HTML it returns — except the CollectionElementDeleted branch, which interpolates getOldName() (and getCollectionName()) into a sprintf() template with no escaping. The returned string is emitted by LogEntryExtraColumn::render() and inserted as raw HTML into the DataTables cell (the bundle does not escape column output; sibling columns call htmlspecialchars() themselves). CollectionElementDeleted.getOldName() is the name of a deleted collection sub-element — a part Parameter, Attachment, PartLot, Orderdetail, etc. — all freely set by any user with edit rights on the owning element. A low-privileged content editor can therefore store an HTML/script payload as the name of such a sub-element, delete it (which writes the log entry), and have that markup parsed as live DOM in the browser of a higher-privileged vi

FOG is a free open-source cloning/imaging/rescue suite/inventory management system. Prior to 1.5.10.1870, the management adInfo() endpoint in packages/web/lib/fog/fogpage.class.php was reported to return the FOG_AD_DEFAULT_PASSWORD value in its domainpass JSON field and to be dispatchable through node=ipxe without an authenticated session. The response was also consumed by host and group Active Directory configuration interfaces. This could disclose the default domain-join credential to a remote unauthenticated requester. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.5.10.1870.

  • Sep 21, 2026InvenTree is an Open Source Inventory Management System.CVE-2026-61749 · Other software · inventree · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

InvenTree is an Open Source Inventory Management System. Prior to 1.4.0, privileged staff users who can author report or label templates can cause WeasyPrint report rendering to retrieve attacker-selected resources through the HTTP and HTTPS URL schemes or the local file URI scheme. The HTML(string=html).write_pdf() path does not provide a restricted url_fetcher, and attach_to_model=True stores the original generated PDF before later processing, allowing fetched local files or internal HTTP response bodies to be recovered from embedded attachments. This enables full-read server-side request forgery, arbitrary local file disclosure including application credentials, and possible compromise of a superuser account. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.0.

  • Sep 21, 2026InvenTree is an Open Source Inventory Management System.CVE-2026-61748 · Other software · inventree · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3

InvenTree is an Open Source Inventory Management System. Prior to 1.4.0, ReportPrint at POST /api/report/print/ and LabelPrint at POST /api/report/label/print/ require authentication but do not call users.permissions.check_user_permission for the caller's per-model view role before selecting objects by primary key and rendering them with a chosen template. Because default templates exist for major business models and DataOutput stores the generated artifact for the requesting user, a role-less or unrelated-role account can enumerate object identifiers and download reports containing purchase, sales, part, bill-of-materials, stock, build, supplier, customer, pricing, and inventory data that the corresponding detail APIs would deny. InvenTree is an Open Source Inventory Management System. Prior to 1.4.0, the /api/importer/row/ and /api/importer/mapping/ endpoints do not scope DataImportRow and DataImportColumnMap querysets to the owner of the associated DataImportSession. Any authenticated user, including an account with no assigned roles, can supply another user's import session identifier and retrieve that session's row_data and data fields together with its column mappings. This exposes the full contents of data staged for import across users, although the InvenTree threat model treats authenticated instance users as trusted. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.0.

InvenTree is an Open Source Inventory Management System. Prior to 1.4.0, PluginSettingList, PluginAllSettingList, and PluginSettingDetail set GlobalSettingsPermissions without the IsAuthenticated permission used by the project default and equivalent global-settings endpoints. GlobalSettingsPermissions returns true for safe methods, while AuthRequiredMiddleware exempts /api/ paths, so an unauthenticated caller can retrieve plugin names, setting keys, descriptions, types, choices, and non-protected configuration values through /api/plugin/settings/ and the per-plugin settings endpoints. InvenTree is an Open Source Inventory Management System. Prior to 1.4.0, POST /api/barcode/ accepts an attacker-synthesized internal JSON barcode containing a lowercase model label and integer primary key, while BarcodeView uses IsAuthenticatedOrReadScope and requires only authentication or a general read scope. The built-in barcode plugin selects the object with model.objects.get(pk=...), and InvenTreeBarcodeMixin.format_matched_response() returns the complete model serializer output as instance without checking the caller's per-model view role. • Jul 21, 2026FOG is a free open-source cloning/imaging/rescue suite/inventory management system.CVE-2026-47689 · Other software · FOGProject · reported by GitHubMedium 4.6

FOG is a free open-source cloning/imaging/rescue suite/inventory management system. Prior to versions 1.5.10.1832 and 1.6.0-beta.2313, the `buildRow()` method in `fogpage.class.php` substitutes data values into HTML table cell templates using `str_replace()` without any HTML escaping. An unauthenticated attacker who knows any registered host's MAC address can POST malicious inventory values (e.g. `sysproduct`, `sysserial`) to `/service/inventory.php`, which stores them in the database. When an administrator opens the Group Inventory tab, the payload renders as executable HTML/JavaScript in the admin's browser. Versions 1.5.10.1832 and 1.6.0-beta.2313 fix the issue.

InvenTree is an Open Source Inventory Management System. Prior to version 1.2.6, a path traversal vulnerability in the report template engine allows a staff-level user to read arbitrary files from the server filesystem via crafted template tags. Affected functions: `encode_svg_image()`, `asset()`, and `uploaded_image()` in `src/backend/InvenTree/report/templatetags/report.py`. This requires staff access (to upload / edit templates with maliciously crafted tags). If the InvenTree installation is configured with high access privileges on the host system, this path traversal may allow file access outside of the InvenTree source directory. Prior to version 1.2.6, certain API endpoints associated with bulk data operations can be hijacked to exfiltrate sensitive information from the database. The bulk operation API endpoints (e.g. `/api/part/`, `/api/stock/`, `/api/order/so/allocation/`, and others) accept a filters parameter that is passed directly to Django's ORM queryset.filter(**filters) without any field allowlisting. This enables any authenticated user to traverse model relationships using Django's __ lookup syntax and perform blind boolean-based data extraction. This issue is patched in version 1.2.6, and 1.3.0 (or above). Users should update to the patched versions. No known workarounds are available.

  • Feb 24, 2026InvenTree is an Open Source Inventory Management System.CVE-2026-27629 · Other software · inventree · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

InvenTree is an Open Source Inventory Management System. Prior to version 1.2.3, insecure server-side templates can be hijacked to expose secure information to the client. When generating custom batch codes, the InvenTree server makes use of a customizable jinja2 template, which can be modified by a staff user to exfiltrate sensitive information or perform code execution on the server. This issue requires access by a user with granted staff permissions, followed by a request to generate a custom batch code via the API. Once the template has been modified in a malicious manner, the API call to generate a new batch code could be made by other users, and the template code will be executed with their user context. The code has been patched to ensure that all template generation is performed within a secure sandboxed context. This issue has been addressed in version 1.2.3, and any versions from 1.3.0 onwards. Some workarounds are available. The batch code template is a configurable global setting which can be adjusted via any user with staff access. To prevent this setting from being edited, it can be overridden at a system level to a default value, preventing it from being edited. This

FOG is a cloning/imaging/rescue suite/inventory management system. An improperly restricted file upload feature allows authenticated users to execute arbitrary code on the fogproject server. The Rebranding feature has a check on the client banner image requiring it to be 650 pixels wide and 120 pixels high. Apart from that, there are no checks on things like file extensions. This can be abused by appending a PHP webshell to the end of the image and changing the extension to anything the PHP web server will parse. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.5.10.41.

FOG is a free open-source cloning/imaging/rescue suite/inventory management system. There is a security issue with the NFS configuration in /etc/exports generated by the installer that allows an attacker to modify files outside the export in the default installation. The exports have the no_subtree_check option. The no_subtree_check option means that if a client performs a file operation, the server will only check if the requested file is on the correct filesystem, not if it is in the correct directory. This enables modifying files in /images, accessing other files on the same filesystem, and accessing files on other filesystems. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.5.10.30.
