Vulnerability database
Every flaw the U.S. government’s cybersecurity agency (CISA) has confirmed attackers are using, plus the new WordPress plugin and theme bugs published each day, sorted by what they mean for a small business. We refresh it twice a day. If you see something your website or office runs, tell us.

Oct 21, 2026The webhook platform gateway in Nous Research Hermes Agent versions builds the session chat_id as webhook:{route_name}:{delivery_id} and re-derives the authorizCVE-2026-114463 · Other software · Nous Research · reported by cret@cert.org
The webhook platform gateway in Nous Research Hermes Agent versions builds the session chat_id as webhook:{route_name}:{delivery_id} and re-derives the authorizing route by splitting that string, so a route name containing a ":" resolves toolset authorization to a different, higher-privileged prefix route than the one authenticated, which allows a remote attacker with the target HMAC to gain that higher-privileged route's toolsets.

Sep 3, 2026Hermes Agent 0.18.2 through 0.21.0, fixed in commit f6234d0, contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows attackers to execute arbitrary OS commanCVE-2026-71963 · Other software · NousResearch · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.6
Hermes Agent 0.18.2 through 0.21.0, fixed in commit f6234d0, contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands by supplying a malicious repository with a crafted .git/config that sets core.fsmonitor to an attacker-controlled command. When a user opens the malicious repository and sends any message, the agent triggers a git status index refresh which executes the injected command in the user's process context, exposing the full environment including configured provider API keys.

Aug 28, 2026Hermes Agent 0.18.2 prior to 0.19.0 contains a supply chain vulnerability in its bundled MCP catalog that allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code by CVE-2026-82021 · Other software · NousResearch · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9
Hermes Agent 0.18.2 prior to 0.19.0 contains a supply chain vulnerability in its bundled MCP catalog that allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code by compromising a third-party upstream repository referenced via a mutable branch rather than a pinned commit SHA. An attacker who compromises the upstream repository can propagate malicious code to every host that installs the affected catalog entry, with no further action required by the operator.

Aug 28, 2026Hermes Agent 0.16.0 prior to 0.17.0 contains an improper path restriction vulnerability that allows attackers who can influence ingested message content to overCVE-2026-82020 · Other software · NousResearch · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.6
Hermes Agent 0.16.0 prior to 0.17.0 contains an improper path restriction vulnerability that allows attackers who can influence ingested message content to overwrite the credential store by bypassing sensitive-path guards that excluded the auth.json file. Attackers can craft malicious messages directing the agent's file-write tooling to overwrite the credential store without triggering any path-based protection, enabling credential tampering or unauthorized access.

Jun 17, 2026Hermes Agent before 0.16.0 creates response_store.db and webhook_subscriptions.json with world-readable permissions (mode 0o644), exposing conversation history CVE-2026-53870 · Other software · NousResearch · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.8
Hermes Agent before 0.16.0 creates response_store.db and webhook_subscriptions.json with world-readable permissions (mode 0o644), exposing conversation history and HMAC secrets to local users. Attackers with local filesystem access can read these files directly to obtain sensitive data including conversation history, tool payloads, prompts, and per-route HMAC secrets.

Jun 17, 2026Hermes Agent before 0.16.0 contains a DNS rebinding vulnerability in WebSocket endpoints that allows remote attackers to bypass Host and Origin validation.CVE-2026-53869 · Other software · NousResearch · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
Hermes Agent before 0.16.0 contains a DNS rebinding vulnerability in WebSocket endpoints that allows remote attackers to bypass Host and Origin validation. FastAPI HTTP middleware does not execute for WebSocket upgrade requests on /api/pty, /api/ws, /api/pub, and /api/events endpoints, enabling attackers to exploit DNS rebinding and inject malicious commands or read terminal output.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
