  • Oct 22, 2026CloudPirates Open Source Helm Charts is a collection of Helm charts.CVE-2026-54532 · Other software · CloudPirates-io · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9

CloudPirates Open Source Helm Charts is a collection of Helm charts. Prior to commit 271d415, pull_request_target workflow is vulnerable to cache poisoning and OIDC token theft. A pull_request_target workflow checks out fork code using github.event.pull_request.head.sha or .head.ref. This gives attacker-controlled code access to base repository secrets and tokens. A pull_request_target workflow writes to a shared Actions cache. A subsequent release or publish workflow restores from the same cache scope, allowing a poisoned cache entry to execute during release. This issue has been patched via commit 271d415.

  • Sep 8, 2026The source-controller is a Kubernetes operator, specialised in artifacts acquisition from external sources such as Git, OCI, Helm repositories and S3-compatibleCVE-2026-47680 · Other software · fluxcd · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

The source-controller is a Kubernetes operator, specialised in artifacts acquisition from external sources such as Git, OCI, Helm repositories and S3-compatible buckets. In versions 0.0.17 through 1.8.4, an actor with the ability to influence the contents of a bucket referenced by a `Bucket` resource can cause source-controller to write fetched object data to paths outside the per-reconciliation working directory. The corruption surface is bounded by source-controller's own and downstream Flux controllers' digest verification: source-controller verifies stored artifact digests during reconciliation and rebuilds on divergence; consumers (kustomize-controller, helm-controller) verify the digest of fetched artifacts and reject mismatches. These checks prevent a manipulated artifact from reaching the cluster, but an attacker can still write files anywhere the source-controller pod has permission to write. Separately, a user with permission to create or update `GitRepository` resources can cause source-controller to test for the existence of paths outside the cloned repository. Because the result is exposed via the resource's status, this allows limited enumeration of file paths on the

  • Sep 3, 2026A security vulnerability was discovered in Fleet's Helm template preprocessing where templates evaluated by the Fleet controller could reach network resources oCVE-2026-75036 · Other software · SUSE · reported by meissner@suse.deMedium 5.3

A security vulnerability was discovered in Fleet's Helm template preprocessing where templates evaluated by the Fleet controller could reach network resources outside the management cluster. A user who can supply bundle content to a repository referenced by a `GitRepo` resource can cause the Fleet controller to: - Disclose cluster metadata available to the templating context. - Reveal information about hosts reachable from the controller's network position. Because the disclosure channel is name resolution, it may remain effective in environments where outbound traffic is otherwise restricted. The disclosed information is limited to values exposed to the Fleet templating context and to name resolution results. Integrity and availability of managed clusters are not affected. This issue affects Fleet: from 0.12.0 before 0.12.19, from 0.13.0 before 0.13.15, from 0.14.0 before 0.14.10, from 0.15.0 before 0.15.6, and from 0.16.0 before 0.16.1.

Langchain Helm Charts are Helm charts for deploying Langchain applications on Kubernetes. Prior to langchain-ai/helm version 0.12.71, a URL parameter injection vulnerability existed in LangSmith Studio that could allow unauthorized access to user accounts through stolen authentication tokens. The vulnerability affected both LangSmith Cloud and self-hosted deployments. Authenticated LangSmith users who clicked on a specially crafted malicious link would have their bearer token, user ID, and workspace ID transmitted to an attacker-controlled server. With this stolen token, an attacker could impersonate the victim and access any LangSmith resources or perform any actions the user was authorized to perform within their workspace. The attack required social engineering (phishing, malicious links in emails or chat applications) to convince users to click the crafted URL. The stolen tokens expired after 5 minutes, though repeated attacks against the same user were possible if they could be convinced to click malicious links multiple times. The fix in version 0.12.71 implements validation requiring user-defined allowed origins for the baseUrl parameter, preventing tokens from being sent to

  • Feb 12, 2026Element Server Suite Community Edition (ESS Community) deploys a Matrix stack using the provided Helm charts and Kubernetes distribution.CVE-2026-24044 · Other software · element-hq · reported by GitHubCritical 9.2

Element Server Suite Community Edition (ESS Community) deploys a Matrix stack using the provided Helm charts and Kubernetes distribution. The ESS Community Helm Chart secrets initialization hook (using matrix-tools container before 0.5.7) is using an insecure Matrix server key generation method, allowing network attackers to potentially recreate the same key pair, allowing them to impersonate the victim server. The secret is generated by the secrets initialization hook, in the ESS Community Helm Chart values, if both initSecrets.enabled is not set to false and synapse.signingKey is not defined. Given a server key in Matrix authenticates both requests originating from and events constructed on a given server, this potentially impacts confidentiality, integrity and availability of rooms which have a vulnerable server present as a member. The confidentiality of past conversations in end-to-end encrypted rooms is not impacted. The key generation issue was fixed in matrix-tools 0.5.7, released as part of ESS Community Helm Chart 25.12.1.

  • Jul 17, 2025Rucio is a software framework that provides functionality to organize, manage, and access large volumes of scientific data using customizable policies.CVE-2025-54064 · Other software · rucio · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9

Rucio is a software framework that provides functionality to organize, manage, and access large volumes of scientific data using customizable policies. The common Rucio helm-charts for the `rucio-server`, `rucio-ui`, and `rucio-webui` define the log format for the apache access log of these components. The `X-Rucio-Auth-Token`, which is part of each request header sent to Rucio, is part of this log format. Thus, each access log line potentially exposes the credentials (Internal Rucio token, or JWT in case of OIDC authentication) of the user. Due to the length of the token (Especially for a JWT) the tokens are often truncated, and thus not usable as credential; nevertheless, the (partial) credential should not be part of the logfile. The impact of this issue is amplified if the access logs are made available to a larger group of people than the instance administrators themselves. • Jul 8, 2025Helm is a package manager for Charts for Kubernetes.CVE-2025-53547 · Other software · helm · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5

Helm is a package manager for Charts for Kubernetes. Prior to 3.18.4, a specially crafted Chart.yaml file along with a specially linked Chart.lock file can lead to local code execution when dependencies are updated. Fields in a Chart.yaml file, that are carried over to a Chart.lock file when dependencies are updated and this file is written, can be crafted in a way that can cause execution if that same content were in a file that is executed (e.g., a bash.rc file or shell script). If the Chart.lock file is symlinked to one of these files updating dependencies will write the lock file content to the symlinked file. This can lead to unwanted execution. Helm warns of the symlinked file but did not stop execution due to symlinking. This issue has been resolved in Helm v3.18.4.

  • Nov 22, 2024Argo Helm is a collection of community maintained charts for `argoproj.github.io` projects.CVE-2024-52814 · Other software · argoproj · reported by GitHubLow 2.8

Argo Helm is a collection of community maintained charts for `argoproj.github.io` projects. Prior to version 0.45.0, the `workflow-role`) lacks granularity in its privileges, giving permissions to `workflowtasksets` and `workflowartifactgctasks` to all workflow Pods, when only certain types of Pods created by the Controller require these privileges. The impact is minimal, as an attack could only affect status reporting for certain types of Pods and templates. Version 0.45.0 fixes the issue.

  • Nov 21, 2024Argo Workflows Chart is used to set up argo and its needed dependencies through one command.CVE-2024-52799 · Other software · argoproj · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

Argo Workflows Chart is used to set up argo and its needed dependencies through one command. Prior to 0.44.0, the workflow-role has excessive privileges, the worst being create pods/exec, which will allow kubectl exec into any Pod in the same namespace, i.e. arbitrary code execution within those Pods. If a user can be made to run a malicious template, their whole namespace can be compromised. This affects versions of the argo-workflows Chart that use appVersion: 3.4 and above, which no longer need these permissions for the only available Executor, Emissary. It could also affect users below 3.4 depending on their choice of Executor in those versions. This only affects the Helm Chart and not the upstream manifests. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.44.0.

  • May 15, 2024The source-controller is a Kubernetes operator, specialised in artifacts acquisition from external sources such as Git, OCI, Helm repositories and S3-compatibleCVE-2024-31216 · Other software · fluxcd · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1

The source-controller is a Kubernetes operator, specialised in artifacts acquisition from external sources such as Git, OCI, Helm repositories and S3-compatible buckets. The source-controller implements the source.toolkit.fluxcd.io API and is a core component of the GitOps toolkit. Prior to version 1.2.5, when source-controller was configured to use an Azure SAS token when connecting to Azure Blob Storage, the token was logged along with the Azure URL when the controller encountered a connection error. An attacker with access to the source-controller logs could use the token to gain access to the Azure Blob Storage until the token expires. This vulnerability was fixed in source-controller v1.2.5. There is no workaround for this vulnerability except for using a different auth mechanism such as Azure Workload Identity.

  • Mar 20, 2024datahub-helm provides the Kubernetes Helm charts for deploying Datahub and its dependencies on a Kubernetes cluster.CVE-2024-29037 · Other software · acryldata · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

datahub-helm provides the Kubernetes Helm charts for deploying Datahub and its dependencies on a Kubernetes cluster. Starting in version 0.1.143 and prior to version 0.2.182, due to configuration issues in the helm chart, if there was a successful initial deployment during a limited window of time, personal access tokens were possibly created with a default secret key. Since the secret key is a static, publicly available value, someone could inspect the algorithm used to generate personal access tokens and generate their own for an instance. Deploying with Metadata Service Authentication enabled would have been difficult during window of releases. If someone circumvented the helm settings and manually set Metadata Service Authentication to be enabled using environment variables directly, this would skip over the autogeneration logic for the Kubernetes Secrets and DataHub GMS would default to the signing key specified statically in the application.yml. Most deployments probably did not attempt to circumvent the helm settings to enable Metadata Service Authentication during this time, so impact is most likely limited. Any deployments with Metadata Service Authentication enabled shoul

  • Mar 3, 2024An issue was discovered in Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) Helm through 3.13.3.CVE-2019-25210 · Other software · helm · reported by MITREMedium 6.5

An issue was discovered in Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) Helm through 3.13.3. It displays values of secrets when the --dry-run flag is used. This is a security concern in some use cases, such as a --dry-run call by a CI/CD tool. NOTE: the vendor's position is that this behavior was introduced intentionally, and cannot be removed without breaking backwards compatibility (some users may be relying on these values). Also, it is not the Helm Project's responsibility if a user decides to use --dry-run within a CI/CD environment whose output is visible to unauthorized persons.

  • Feb 21, 2024Helm is a package manager for Charts for Kubernetes.CVE-2024-26147 · Other software · helm · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Helm is a package manager for Charts for Kubernetes. Versions prior to 3.14.2 contain an uninitialized variable vulnerability when Helm parses index and plugin yaml files missing expected content. When either an `index.yaml` file or a plugins `plugin.yaml` file were missing all metadata a panic would occur in Helm. In the Helm SDK, this is found when using the `LoadIndexFile` or `DownloadIndexFile` functions in the `repo` package or the `LoadDir` function in the `plugin` package. For the Helm client this impacts functions around adding a repository and all Helm functions if a malicious plugin is added as Helm inspects all known plugins on each invocation. This issue has been resolved in Helm v3.14.2. If a malicious plugin has been added which is causing all Helm client commands to panic, the malicious plugin can be manually removed from the filesystem. If using Helm SDK versions prior to 3.14.2, calls to affected functions can use `recover` to catch the panic.

  • Feb 14, 2024Helm is a tool for managing Charts.CVE-2024-25620 · Other software · helm · reported by GitHubMedium 6.4

Helm is a tool for managing Charts. Charts are packages of pre-configured Kubernetes resources. When either the Helm client or SDK is used to save a chart whose name within the `Chart.yaml` file includes a relative path change, the chart would be saved outside its expected directory based on the changes in the relative path. The validation and linting did not detect the path changes in the name. This issue has been resolved in Helm v3.14.1. Users unable to upgrade should check all charts used by Helm for path changes in their name as found in the `Chart.yaml` file. This includes dependencies.
