  • Jul 20, 2026In egroupware version 26.0 and earlier, an authenticated administrator can achieve OS-level Remote Code Execution (RCE) by uploading a malicious eTemplate XML fCVE-2026-40187 · Other software · EGroupware · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6

In egroupware version 26.0 and earlier, an authenticated administrator can achieve OS-level Remote Code Execution (RCE) by uploading a malicious eTemplate XML file (`.xet`) to the VFS `/etemplates` mount. The `Widget::expand_name()` method passes template widget attribute values directly into a PHP `eval()` call with only double-quote escaping applied - **backtick characters are not escaped**. In PHP, backticks inside a double-quoted `eval()` string execute shell commands. This allows an admin-level user to escalate from web application access to arbitrary OS command execution on the server.

  • Jul 20, 2026A vulnerability has been identified in EGroupware that may lead to Remote Code Execution (RCE).CVE-2026-27823 · Other software · EGroupware · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

A vulnerability has been identified in EGroupware that may lead to Remote Code Execution (RCE). The issue allows an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the server. If user self-registration is enabled, the vulnerability may be exploitable without prior authentication. The vulnerability stems from improper authorization checks combined with a file write primitive and an arbitrary file read vulnerability, which together enable full system compromise. This has been patched in versions 26.2.20260224 and 23.1.20260224.

  • May 29, 2026Group-Office is an enterprise customer relationship management and groupware tool.CVE-2026-45551 · Other software · Intermesh · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1

Group-Office is an enterprise customer relationship management and groupware tool. Prior to 26.0.25, 25.0.100, and 6.8.165, GroupOffice allows authenticated users to persist arbitrary legacy settings for any user_id via index.php?r=core/saveSetting. A separate client-side sink in the email module injects the email_font_size setting directly into JavaScript without escaping. By combining these two issues, any low-privileged authenticated user can overwrite an administrator's email_font_size setting with a JavaScript payload and trigger stored XSS in the administrator's browser when the GroupOffice web client loads views/Extjs3/modulescripts.php. This vulnerability is fixed in 26.0.25, 25.0.100, and 6.8.165.

  • Apr 21, 2026mailcow: dockerized is an open source groupware/email suite based on docker.CVE-2026-40878 · Other software · mailcow · reported by GitHubLow 2.1

mailcow: dockerized is an open source groupware/email suite based on docker. In versions prior to 2026-03b, the mailcow web interface passes the raw `$_SERVER['REQUEST_URI']` to Twig as a global template variable and renders it inside a JavaScript string literal in the `setLang()` helper of `base.twig`, relying on Twig's default HTML auto-escaping instead of the context-appropriate `js` escaping strategy. In addition, the `query_string()` Twig helper merges all current `$_GET` parameters into the language-switching links on the login page, so attacker-supplied parameters are reflected and preserved across navigation. Version 2026-03b fixes the vulnerability.

  • Apr 21, 2026mailcow: dockerized is an open source groupware/email suite based on docker.CVE-2026-40875 · Other software · mailcow · reported by GitHubHigh 7

mailcow: dockerized is an open source groupware/email suite based on docker. In versions prior to 2026-03b, the user dashboard's "Seen successful connections" (login history) renders the client IP from login logs without HTML escaping. Because the server trusts the X-Real-IP header as the source IP for logging, an attacker can inject HTML/JS into this field. This Self-XSS can be exploited by a Login CSRF to force the victim into the attacker's account, and then read emails in a previous browser tab. Version 2026-03b fixes the vulnerability.

mailcow: dockerized is an open source groupware/email suite based on docker. In versions prior to 2026-03b, no administrator verification takes place when deleting Forwarding Hosts with `/api/v1/delete/fwdhost`. Any authenticated user can call this API. Checks are only applied for edit/add actions, but deletion can still significantly disrupt the mail service. Version 2026-03b fixes the vulnerability.

mailcow: dockerized is an open source groupware/email suite based on docker. In versions prior to 2026-03b, the Quarantine details modal injects attachment filenames into HTML without escaping, allowing arbitrary HTML/JS execution. An attacker can deliver an email with a crafted attachment name so that when an admin views the quarantine item, JavaScript executes in their browser, taking over their account. mailcow: dockerized is an open source groupware/email suite based on docker. In versions prior to 2026-03b, the admin dashboard's Autodiscover logs render the EMailAddress value (logged as the "user" field) without HTML escaping. By submitting an unauthenticated Autodiscover request with a crafted EMailAddress containing HTML/JS, the payload is stored in Redis and executed when an admin views the Autodiscover logs. • Apr 21, 2026mailcow: dockerized is an open source groupware/email suite based on docker.CVE-2026-40871 · Other software · mailcow · reported by GitHubHigh 7.2

mailcow: dockerized is an open source groupware/email suite based on docker. Versions prior to 2026-03b have a second-order SQL injection vulnerability in the quarantine_category field via the Mailcow API. The /api/v1/add/mailbox endpoint stores quarantine_category without validation or sanitization. This value is later used by quarantine_notify.py, which constructs SQL queries using unsafe % string formatting instead of parameterized queries. This results in a delayed (second-order) SQL injection when the quarantine notification job executes, allowing an attacker to inject arbitrary SQL. Using a UNION SELECT, sensitive data (e.g., admin credentials) can be exfiltrated and rendered inside quarantine notification emails. Version 2026-03b fixes the vulnerability.

Group-Office is an enterprise customer relationship management and groupware tool. Versions prior to 26.0.9, 25.0.87, and 6.8.154 have an authenticated Remote Code Execution vulnerability in the TNEF attachment processing flow. The vulnerable path extracts attacker-controlled files from `winmail.dat` and then invokes `zip` with a shell wildcard (`*`). Because extracted filenames are attacker-controlled, they can be interpreted as `zip` options and lead to arbitrary command execution. Versions 26.0.9, 25.0.87, and 6.8.154 fix the issue.

  • Feb 27, 2026Group-Office is an enterprise customer relationship management and groupware tool.CVE-2026-27832 · Other software · Intermesh · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Group-Office is an enterprise customer relationship management and groupware tool. Versions prior to 26.0.8, 25.0.87, and 6.8.153 have a SQL Injection (SQLi) vulnerability, exploitable through the `advancedQueryData` parameter (`comparator` field) on an authenticated endpoint. The endpoint `index.php?r=email/template/emailSelection` processes `advancedQueryData` and forwards the SQL comparator without a strict allowlist into SQL condition building. This enables blind boolean-based exfiltration of the `core_auth_password` table. Versions 26.0.8, 25.0.87, and 6.8.153 fix the issue.

EGroupware is a Web based groupware server written in PHP. A SQL Injection vulnerability exists in the core components of EGroupware prior to versions 23.1.20260113 and 26.0.20260113, specifically in the `Nextmatch` filter processing. The flaw allows authenticated attackers to inject arbitrary SQL commands into the `WHERE` clause of database queries. This is achieved by exploiting a PHP type juggling issue where JSON decoding converts numeric strings into integers, bypassing the `is_int()` security check used by the application. Versions 23.1.20260113 and 26.0.20260113 patch the vulnerability.

  • Aug 5, 2024mailcow: dockerized is an open source groupware/email suite based on docker.CVE-2024-41958 · Other software · mailcow · reported by GitHubMedium 6.6

mailcow: dockerized is an open source groupware/email suite based on docker. A vulnerability has been discovered in the two-factor authentication (2FA) mechanism. This flaw allows an authenticated attacker to bypass the 2FA protection, enabling unauthorized access to other accounts that are otherwise secured with 2FA. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must first have access to an account within the system and possess the credentials of the target account that has 2FA enabled. By leveraging these credentials, the attacker can circumvent the 2FA process and gain access to the protected account. This issue has been addressed in the `2024-07` release. All users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.

  • Apr 4, 2024mailcow: dockerized is an open source groupware/email suite based on docker.CVE-2024-31204 · Other software · mailcow · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1

mailcow: dockerized is an open source groupware/email suite based on docker. A security vulnerability has been identified in mailcow affecting versions prior to 2024-04. This vulnerability resides in the exception handling mechanism, specifically when not operating in DEV_MODE. The system saves exception details into a session array without proper sanitization or encoding. These details are later rendered into HTML and executed in a JavaScript block within the user's browser, without adequate escaping of HTML entities. This flaw allows for Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks, where attackers can inject malicious scripts into the admin panel by triggering exceptions with controlled input. The exploitation method involves using any function that might throw an exception with user-controllable argument. This issue can lead to session hijacking and unauthorized administrative actions, posing a significant security risk. Version 2024-04 contains a fix for the issue.

  • Nov 7, 2023Group-Office is an enterprise CRM and groupware tool.CVE-2023-46730 · Other software · Intermesh · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4

Group-Office is an enterprise CRM and groupware tool. In affected versions there is full Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the /api/upload.php endpoint. The /api/upload.php endpoint does not filter URLs which allows a malicious user to cause the server to make resource requests to untrusted domains. Note that protocols like file:// can also be used to access the server disk. The request result (on success) can then be retrieved using /api/download.php. This issue has been addressed in versions 6.8.15, 6.7.54, and 6.6.177. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
