Oct 31, 2026Content Pilot – Autoblogging & Affiliate Marketing Suite: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-111070 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4
The Content Pilot – Autoblogging & Affiliate Marketing Suite plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 2.2.4. This is due to the plugin extracting the HTML meta description from each remotely-fetched article (WPCP_Readability::parse_meta()), piping that value through the article template substitution and html_entity_decode() in WPCP_Module::insert_post(), and then calling wp_insert_post() after switching the current user to the configured campaign author (an Administrator with the unfiltered_html capability by default) — so no wp_kses_post sanitization is applied to the attacker-controlled HTML before it is persisted as post_content and rendered on the front end. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers who control the content of any RSS source an administrator has configured a Content Pilot RSS campaign to consume to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Oct 31, 2026Mail logging & Catcher: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-120040 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The Mail logging & Catcher plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.0 via the 'message' parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to extract valid administrator password-reset keys from stored email logs and complete the WordPress password-reset flow to escalate privileges to administrator. Exploitation requires an administrator to have previously configured the plugin's default_view_role setting to a capability held by low-privileged users such as 'read'; on an untouched install the default of 'manage_options' restricts log access to administrators only.

Oct 30, 2026Content Egg – Affiliate Product Importer & Price Comparison: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-119087 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3
The Content Egg – Affiliate Product Importer & Price Comparison plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 12.0.0 This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to create posts attributed to another user's account — typically an administrator — by supplying an admin-owned preset_id, causing wp_insert_post to record the administrator as post_author. This includes the ability to create published posts when the attacker already holds publish_posts capability for the preset's post type, resulting in administrator-attributed published content created by a lower-privileged user.

Oct 30, 2026Content Egg: Unauthorized modification of dataCVE-2026-119059 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3
The Content Egg plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing per-post capability check on the ajaxUpdateProducts() function in versions up to, and including, 12.0.0. The handler verifies a static nonce ('contentegg_metabox') and the generic 'edit_posts' capability, but trusts the attacker-supplied $_POST['post_id'] verbatim and never calls current_user_can('edit_post', $post_id) — the per-object check that its sibling save_post handler saveMeta() correctly performs. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to modify Content Egg product data (_cegg_data_*) and update-timestamp post meta on arbitrary posts, including those owned by administrators.

Oct 29, 2026RSS Aggregator by Feedzy – Feed to Post, Autoblogging, News & YouTube Video Feeds Aggregator: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-110707 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.7
The RSS Aggregator by Feedzy – Feed to Post, Autoblogging, News & YouTube Video Feeds Aggregator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'media:group/media:description (XML element in the imported feed)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.2.12 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires an administrator to configure a Feed-to-Post import pointing at an attacker-controlled feed URL and trigger the import via the Run Now action or setup wizard, which is the plugin's standard configuration flow.

Oct 28, 2026Advanced Custom Fields: Extended: Unauthorized access of data and triggering of server-side actionsCVE-2026-2839 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3
The Advanced Custom Fields: Extended plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access of data and triggering of server-side actions in all versions up to, and including, 0.9.2.7. This is due to multiple AJAX handlers registered for unauthenticated users (`wp_ajax_nopriv_*`) that fail to implement proper `current_user_can()` authorization checks. While these handlers use ACF's `acf_verify_ajax()` function to validate cryptographic nonces, the `acf_nonce` values are generated for guest users and publicly exposed in the page source of any frontend page utilizing an ACF form. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the guest nonce and bypass WordPress visibility permissions, leading to the unauthorized disclosure of post titles and internal Flexible Content layout structures. The vulnerability was partially patched in version 0.9.2.4.

Oct 16, 2026WP Mail Logging: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-109401 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceLow 2.7
The WP Mail Logging plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.17.0 via the 'email_address' parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to extract complete logged mail rows belonging to other users — including recipient addresses, message subjects, full message bodies, and any URLs contained therein — whose addresses happen to match the wildcard. Exploitation requires an administrator to process a personal-data export request for the attacker's email address via the standard WordPress privacy workflow, and the attacker's address must contain a LIKE wildcard character (such as an underscore) that matches at least one other user's address in the mail log.

Oct 10, 2026Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-92975 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1
The Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.8.3 via the `create_support_user()` function. This is due to the function identifying the support account solely by matching against publicly hardcoded constants — `user_login` `'groundhogg'` and email addresses `'support@groundhogg.io'` / `'help@groundhogg.io'` — where the `in_array()` email-equality check at line 238 is not a security boundary because any user fully controls their own email value. This makes it possible for an attacker with an account whose `user_login` is `'groundhogg'` and whose `user_email` matches one of the hardcoded support constants to have that account silently promoted to administrator — and additionally to super admin on multisite when the triggering administrator holds `manage_network_options` — resulting in full site takeover. Exploitation requires a two-actor flow: the attacker must first obtain or pre-plant an account with the hardcoded credentials (possible when open user registration is enabled or another account-creation path exists), after which a legitimate administrator must invoke the s

Oct 10, 2026Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-104725 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8
The Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.9 This is due to a missing ownership and capability check on the `user` parameter within the `process_edit()` function, which allows any authenticated user with the `edit_contacts` capability to reassign a contact record's linked WordPress user ID to any arbitrary account without requiring the `edit_users` or `promote_users` capabilities. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with sales_rep-level access and above, to escalate their privileges to administrator by linking a contact to an administrator's WordPress user ID, then creating a note containing the `{auto_login_link}` replacement tag to trigger generation of a valid auto-login permissions-key URL for the administrator-linked contact, and finally visiting that URL to authenticate as the targeted administrator. The auto-login URL is stored in the note content and is readable back by the attacker via the `view_notes` and `add_notes` capabilities that the sales_rep role holds by default.

Oct 8, 2026Ultimate Multisite: Does not require authentication before a logged-out checkout is linked toCVE-2026-103646 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanCritical 9.8
The Ultimate Multisite WordPress plugin before 2.17.0 does not require authentication before a logged-out checkout is linked to, and logged in as, an existing WordPress account matching the submitted email address, and its duplicate-account check normalizes that address differently from the lookup used to create the customer, so an unauthenticated attacker can log in as any existing user, including a Network Super Admin, whose email address they know. This bypass is not addressed by the 2.15.1 fix for CVE-2026-75957 and remains exploitable in all versions up to and including 2.16.1, the releases that fix was expected to cover. Oct 3, 2026Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-97644 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8
The Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation via Contact Identity Rebinding in all versions up to, and including, 4.9 The vulnerability exists because the `create_contact` function in the v3 REST endpoint (`POST /gh/v3/contacts`) is gated solely by the `add_contacts` capability and forwards the full request payload — including the security-bearing `user_id` column — into the upsert path of `Contacts_DB::add()`, which bypasses the ownership guard that `Contacts_DB::update()` enforces, allowing an attacker to rebind any existing contact record to an arbitrary WordPress user ID. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Sales Representative-level access and above to upsert their own contact row to point to an Administrator's user ID, then invoke the v4 email-test endpoint (`POST /gh/v4/emails/test`) — also accessible to the Sales Representative role via the `send_emails` capability — to generate an `{auto_login_url}` one-time permissions key bound to the rebound contact, and consume that link to call `wp_set_auth_cookie()` and gain a fully authenticated session as the WordPress Administrator.

Aug 16, 2026Manual Image Crop: Does not perform any capability check or nonce verification on the authenticated AJAX action that crops attachment images; its only guard passes for any logged-in userCVE-2026-15384 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 5.7
The Manual Image Crop WordPress plugin before 1.15 does not perform any capability check or nonce verification on the authenticated AJAX action that crops attachment images; its only guard passes for any logged-in user. A subscriber-level user can therefore supply an arbitrary attachment ID and overwrite that attachment's generated intermediate-size image (for example its thumbnail) and mutate its stored metadata, regardless of who owns the media. This is a cross-user integrity/defacement issue over the Media Library. The action also has no nonce, so it is additionally susceptible to CSRF.

Aug 15, 2026Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation: Generic SQL InjectionCVE-2026-18387 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5
The Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'tag_query' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.14 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with vendor-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Exploitation requires the attacker to trigger the vulnerable Legacy_Contact_Query code path by submitting an unknown filter type (e.g. filters[0][0][type]=force_fallback), which causes a FilterException that dispatches execution away from the modern query handler.

All-in-One Video Gallery registers a public, unauthenticated file-download handler triggered by `?vdl=<post_id>` on any `aiovg_videos` post (`public/video.php`, `AIOVG_Public_Video::download_video()`), which reads the post's `mp4` meta value and streams that URL's response back to the requester.

Aug 10, 2026RSS Aggregator by Feedzy: Does not verify that the requesting user owns or is allowed to edit the import job named in the requestCVE-2026-18934 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 5.5
The RSS Aggregator by Feedzy WordPress plugin before 5.2.6 does not verify that the requesting user owns or is allowed to edit the import job named in the request, allowing users with author-level access and above to permanently delete the posts created by another user's import job, reset its deduplication and scheduling state, disable it, or clear its error log. Aug 5, 2026Content Egg – Affiliate Product Importer & Price Comparison: Arbitrary File DeletionCVE-2026-15979 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1
The Content Egg – Affiliate Product Importer & Price Comparison plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Deletion via Path Traversal in versions up to and including 11.3.0. This is due to insufficient validation of the 'img_file' field within the cegg_data post metadata: the value passes only through wp_strip_all_tags() (which does not strip path traversal sequences), is stored directly in post meta, and is later concatenated without normalization into a filesystem path in getFullImgPath() before being passed to PHP's unlink(). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible.

Aug 5, 2026Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-11454 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5
The Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.2 via the GET /wp-json/gh/v4/contacts/<id> REST endpoint. The endpoint's permission callback checks only the role-level view_contacts capability and read_single() returns the full contact record by sequential integer ID without the object-level view_contact ownership check applied elsewhere in the codebase. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers holding view_contacts but not view_others_contacts — notably Groundhogg's built-in Sales Rep role, designed to see only its own contacts — to read any contact record on the site, including PII, contact meta, owner IDs, the admin edit URL, and (for contacts linked to a WordPress user) that user's full capability set.
