In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvmet-tcp: Do not WARN on remotely-controlled oversized SGL allocations When fuzzing the nvme target code, I tripped a kernel warning in nvmet_tcp_map_data() because the length passed into the allocator is controlled by the remote initiator. A remote initiator that sends a command with an SGL claiming a huge number, can create a scatterlist and iovec allocation of over 1 million entries, which causes the backing kmalloc call to exceed MAX_PAGE_ORDER and then the page allocator will trip on a WARN_ON_ONCE_GFP() message: WARNING: mm/page_alloc.c:5280 __alloc_frozen_pages_noprof Workqueue: nvmet_tcp_wq nvmet_tcp_io_work ... sgl_alloc_order nvmet_tcp_map_data nvmet_tcp_try_recv_pdu As it's never good to trip a kernel warning remotely due to many systems having panic-on-warn enabled, let's silence it by just add GFP_NOWARN to the allocation flags.

ffuf is a fast web fuzzer written in Go. Prior to 2.2.0, ffuf allows a malicious target server to cause an out-of-memory denial of service because the response size guard in pkg/runner/simple.go checks only the compressed Content-Length while io.ReadAll reads gzip, brotli, deflate, transparently decompressed, or chunked response bodies without a decompressed-size bound. This issue is fixed in version 2.2.0.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: dev: prevent integer overflow in I2C_TIMEOUT ioctl While fuzzing with Syzkaller, a persistent `schedule_timeout: wrong timeout value` warning was observed, accompanied by SMBus controller state machine corruption. The I2C_TIMEOUT ioctl accepts a user-provided timeout in multiples of 10 ms. The user argument is checked against INT_MAX, but it is subsequently multiplied by 10 before being passed to msecs_to_jiffies(). A malicious user can pass a large value (e.g., 429496729) that passes the `arg > INT_MAX` check but overflows when multiplied by 10. This results in a truncated 32-bit unsigned value that bypasses the internal `(int)m < 0` check in `msecs_to_jiffies()`. The truncated value is then assigned to `client->adapter->timeout` (a signed 32-bit int), which is reinterpreted as a negative number. When passed to wait_for_completion_timeout(), this negative value undergoes sign extension to a 64-bit unsigned long, triggering the `schedule_timeout` warning and causing premature returns. This leaves the SMBus state machine in an unrecoverable state, constituting a local Denial of Service (DoS). Fix this by

Skim is a fuzzy finder designed to through files, lines, and commands. The generate-files job in .github/workflows/pr.yml checks out attacker-controlled fork code and executes it via cargo run, with access to SKIM_RS_BOT_PRIVATE_KEY and GITHUB_TOKEN (contents:write). No gates prevent exploitation - any GitHub user can trigger this by opening a pull request from a fork. This vulnerability is fixed with commit bf63404ad51985b00ed304690ba9d477860a5a75.

  • Mar 27, 2026The `ecdsa` PyPI package is a pure Python implementation of ECC (Elliptic Curve Cryptography) with support for ECDSA (Elliptic Curve Digital Signature AlgorithmCVE-2026-33936 · Other software · tlsfuzzer · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

The `ecdsa` PyPI package is a pure Python implementation of ECC (Elliptic Curve Cryptography) with support for ECDSA (Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm), EdDSA (Edwards-curve Digital Signature Algorithm) and ECDH (Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman). Prior to version 0.19.2, an issue in the low-level DER parsing functions can cause unexpected exceptions to be raised from the public API functions. `ecdsa.der.remove_octet_string()` accepts truncated DER where the encoded length exceeds the available buffer. For example, an OCTET STRING that declares a length of 4096 bytes but provides only 3 bytes is parsed successfully instead of being rejected. Because of that, a crafted DER input can cause `SigningKey.from_der()` to raise an internal exception (`IndexError: index out of bounds on dimension 1`) rather than cleanly rejecting malformed DER (e.g., raising `UnexpectedDER` or `ValueError`). Applications that parse untrusted DER private keys may crash if they do not handle unexpected exceptions, resulting in a denial of service. Version 0.19.2 patches the issue.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gfs2: Validate i_depth for exhash directories A fuzzer test introduced corruption that ends up with a depth of 0 in dir_e_read(), causing an undefined shift by 32 at: index = hash >> (32 - dip->i_depth); As calculated in an open-coded way in dir_make_exhash(), the minimum depth for an exhash directory is ilog2(sdp->sd_hash_ptrs) and 0 is invalid as sdp->sd_hash_ptrs is fixed as sdp->bsize / 16 at mount time. So we can avoid the undefined behaviour by checking for depth values lower than the minimum in gfs2_dinode_in(). Values greater than the maximum are already being checked for there. Also switch the calculation in dir_make_exhash() to use ilog2() to clarify how the depth is calculated. Tested with the syzkaller repro.c and xfstests '-g quick'.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: core: Harden s32ton() against conversion to 0 bits Testing by the syzbot fuzzer showed that the HID core gets a shift-out-of-bounds exception when it tries to convert a 32-bit quantity to a 0-bit quantity. Ideally this should never occur, but there are buggy devices and some might have a report field with size set to zero; we shouldn't reject the report or the device just because of that. Instead, harden the s32ton() routine so that it returns a reasonable result instead of crashing when it is called with the number of bits set to 0 -- the same as what snto32() does.

dedupe is a python library that uses machine learning to perform fuzzy matching, deduplication and entity resolution quickly on structured data. Before commit 3f61e79, a critical severity vulnerability has been identified within the .github/workflows/benchmark-bot.yml workflow, where a issue_comment can be triggered using the @benchmark body. This workflow is susceptible to exploitation as it checkout the ${{ github.event.issue.number }}, which correspond to the branch of the PR manipulated by potentially malicious actors, and where untrusted code may be executed. Running untrusted code may lead to the exfiltration of GITHUB_TOKEN, which in this workflow has write permissions on most of the scopes - in particular the contents one - and could lead to potential repository takeover. This is fixed by commit 3f61e79.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gfs2: Check sb_bsize_shift after reading superblock Fuzzers like to scribble over sb_bsize_shift but in reality it's very unlikely that this field would be corrupted on its own. Nevertheless it should be checked to avoid the possibility of messy mount errors due to bad calculations. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ata: libata-sff: Ensure that we cannot write outside the allocated buffer reveliofuzzing reported that a SCSI_IOCTL_SEND_COMMAND ioctl with out_len set to 0xd42, SCSI command set to ATA_16 PASS-THROUGH, ATA command set to ATA_NOP, and protocol set to ATA_PROT_PIO, can cause ata_pio_sector() to write outside the allocated buffer, overwriting random memory. While a ATA device is supposed to abort a ATA_NOP command, there does seem to be a bug either in libata-sff or QEMU, where either this status is not set, or the status is cleared before read by ata_sff_hsm_move(). Anyway, that is most likely a separate bug. Looking at __atapi_pio_bytes(), it already has a safety check to ensure that __atapi_pio_bytes() cannot write outside the allocated buffer. Add a similar check to ata_pio_sector(), such that also ata_pio_sector() cannot write outside the allocated buffer.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: USB: gadget: dummy-hcd: Fix "task hung" problem The syzbot fuzzer has been encountering "task hung" problems ever since the dummy-hcd driver was changed to use hrtimers instead of regular timers. It turns out that the problems are caused by a subtle difference between the timer_pending() and hrtimer_active() APIs. The changeover blindly replaced the first by the second. However, timer_pending() returns True when the timer is queued but not when its callback is running, whereas hrtimer_active() returns True when the hrtimer is queued _or_ its callback is running. This difference occasionally caused dummy_urb_enqueue() to think that the callback routine had not yet started when in fact it was almost finished. As a result the hrtimer was not restarted, which made it impossible for the driver to dequeue later the URB that was just enqueued. This caused usb_kill_urb() to hang, and things got worse from there. Since hrtimers have no API for telling when they are queued and the callback isn't running, the driver must keep track of this for itself. That's what this patch does, adding a new "timer_pending" flag and

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: fix i_data_sem unlock order in ext4_ind_migrate() Fuzzing reports a possible deadlock in jbd2_log_wait_commit. This issue is triggered when an EXT4_IOC_MIGRATE ioctl is set to require synchronous updates because the file descriptor is opened with O_SYNC. This can lead to the jbd2_journal_stop() function calling jbd2_might_wait_for_commit(), potentially causing a deadlock if the EXT4_IOC_MIGRATE call races with a write(2) system call. This problem only arises when CONFIG_PROVE_LOCKING is enabled. In this case, the jbd2_might_wait_for_commit macro locks jbd2_handle in the jbd2_journal_stop function while i_data_sem is locked. This triggers lockdep because the jbd2_journal_start function might also lock the same jbd2_handle simultaneously. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with syzkaller. Rule: add

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: USB: gadgetfs: Fix race between mounting and unmounting The syzbot fuzzer and Gerald Lee have identified a use-after-free bug in the gadgetfs driver, involving processes concurrently mounting and unmounting the gadgetfs filesystem. In particular, gadgetfs_fill_super() can race with gadgetfs_kill_sb(), causing the latter to deallocate the_device while the former is using it. Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
