  • Oct 29, 2026A flaw was found in Wildfly.CVE-2026-114488 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 7.4

A flaw was found in Wildfly. A remote attacker can bypass authentication on IIOP EJB invocations as the CSIv2 security interceptor accepts ITTPrincipalName identity assertions in the service context without verifying transport-level authentication, allowing a pre-auth attacker on the port 3528 to impersonate any principal on every IIOP-exposed @Remote EJB.

  • Oct 26, 2026A confused deputy attack exists in the StatefulSet controller that allows a user with namespace-scoped write permissions on StatefulSet and ControllerRevision oCVE-2026-2270 · Other software · Kubernetes · reported by jordan@liggitt.netMedium 5.9

A confused deputy attack exists in the StatefulSet controller that allows a user with namespace-scoped write permissions on StatefulSet and ControllerRevision objects to create a cross-namespace pod. An attacker exploiting this vulnerability would have full control over the resulting pod’s metadata and specification, including namespace selection. Note that the cross-namespace pod will be immediately deleted by the garbage collector unless the attacker is able to construct a valid StatefulSet OwnerReference. This would require referencing the UID of an existing StatefulSet in the victim’s namespace.

  • Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: namespace: check a recursive bind mount for mount namespace loops do_loopback() refuses toCVE-2026-98989 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: namespace: check a recursive bind mount for mount namespace loops do_loopback() refuses to bind mount the file of a mount namespace that is as old as the caller's or older because a mount namespace that holds a mount of its own file, or of an ancestor's, would cause a cycle. But it only checks the dentry the bind mount starts from. With MS_REC everything below it is copied and do_loopback() passes CL_COPY_MNT_NS_FILE so mount namespace files below the source are copied. That's fine for a source in the caller's own mount namespace. Every mount namespace file in there passed the same check when it was bind-mounted. It isn't fine for a source in another mount namespace. may_copy_tree() accepts a bind mount of any nsfs or pidfs file no matter what mount namespace it lives in so that /proc/<pid>/ns/<ns> and pidfds can be bind mounted. If we create a bind-mount stack of mount namespaces file descriptors the kernel will copy them irrespective of their ancestoral relationship to the mount namespace in question: 151 146 0:7 net:[4026531833] /tmp/nrc/y rw - nsfs nsfs rw 152 151 0:7 mnt:[4026532293] /tmp/nrc/y rw - ns

  • Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: namespace: refuse an automount below a mount that is in no namespace It's possible to add CVE-2026-98979 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: namespace: refuse an automount below a mount that is in no namespace It's possible to add autmounts even when the parent mount isn't in the mount namespace of the caller. The only requirement we have is that the parent mount namespace must not be NULL, i.e., unmounted. Problem is that clone_private_mount() has MNT_NS_INTERNAL which makes that trivially true. So that passes the test and attach_recursive_mnt() accepts that as a mount point and funny enough, count_mounts() dereferences MNT_NS_INTERNAL. The problem is it is an error pointer... So we can reach this in userspace via fanotify. A filesystem mark on the lower filesystem of an overlay reports paths on the layer clone and reading the event hands out a descriptor on it. For example with debugfs as the lower layer it goes kaboom: openat(evfd, "tracing", O_DIRECTORY) Oops: general protection fault KASAN: null-ptr-deref in range [0x1d0-0x1d7] RIP: 0010:count_mounts+0x35/0x200 attach_recursive_mnt finish_automount And since that sleeping beauty happens under namespace_sem held for writing every mount operation on the system blocks from then on

VLC for Android before 3.7.2 contains a confused-deputy file overwrite vulnerability in FileUtils.getUri() that trusts content URIs based only on the com.fsck.k9.attachmentprovider or gmail-ls authority. A co-installed app without permissions can declare these authorities and send a crafted VIEW intent to the exported StartActivity, making VLC write attacker-chosen content under an attacker-chosen name in the shared Download directory, overwriting other apps' files when VLC holds All files access.

The StreamsHub Console operator acts as a confused deputy: a Kubernetes tenant with permission to create a Console custom resource can set spec.kafkaClusters[].credentials.kafkaUser.namespace to any namespace. The operator, running with cluster-wide Secrets RBAC, reads the victim-namespace KafkaUser Secret (SASL credentials or TLS private keys) and writes the plaintext material into a Secret in the attacker's namespace. • Oct 15, 2026A flaw was found in the ContentRepositoryImpl.copyExplodedContent function of the wildfly-core library, which is used by WildFly and JBoss EAP to manage server CVE-2026-85634 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 8.8

A flaw was found in the ContentRepositoryImpl.copyExplodedContent function of the wildfly-core library, which is used by WildFly and JBoss EAP to manage server deployments. The issue occurs when the library processes an unsanitized deployment name. Due to a missing containment check, an attacker with the Deployer RBAC role can use path traversal sequences to access files outside the restricted deployment directory. This can allow the attacker to delete arbitrary directories or create files with arbitrary content, leading to a full privilege escalation to the management SuperUser role.

  • Oct 11, 2026VeraCrypt 1.26.29 (FUSE-T build) on macOS sometimes allows unintended access to decrypted data.CVE-2026-108982 · Other software · IDRIX · reported by MITREHigh 7.2

VeraCrypt 1.26.29 (FUSE-T build) on macOS sometimes allows unintended access to decrypted data. It does not terminate the FUSE-T auxiliary service (go-nfsv4) and its associated VeraCrypt core-service helper processes when a volume is dismounted. After VeraCrypt reports the volume as dismounted, the auxiliary mount continues to serve the decrypted volume image (volume.dmg) over a loopback SMB session, and the leaked processes retain an open handle to the underlying raw device. A local user or process can therefore remount and access the decrypted volume without the passphrase, e.g., by reopening a previously accessed path (such as through a macOS Open Recent menu) or by attaching volume.dmg from the stale auxiliary mount. (The macFUSE build of VeraCrypt is not affected.)

Dancer2 versions from 2.0.0 before 2.2.0 for Perl dispatch a route that a dying hook refused when the exception handler halts the response in compile_hooks. A hook that dies fires core.app.hook_exception, then calls cleanup unless the failing hook is the exception handler. A handler that halts does not stop that cleanup, which discards the request, response and session the dispatcher has yet to read, so the refused route runs. The handler has to halt the response object by calling its halt method or setting is_halted: the halt keyword unwinds through with_return before cleanup runs. A check in a before hook is not enforced: the caller gets the refusal, while the route body runs and its writes land.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse: check for NULL root inode in fuse_fill_super_submount fuse_iget() can return NULL when its inode allocation fails, but fuse_fill_super_submount() passed the result straight to get_fuse_inode() and decremented fi->nlookup without checking it: root = fuse_iget(sb, parent_fi->nodeid, ...); fi = get_fuse_inode(root); fi->nlookup--; Inside fuse_iget() the inode allocation can fail and return NULL. The submount root takes the iget5_locked() path, whose alloc_inode() can fail under memory pressure (the auto-submount branch can fail the same way in new_inode() or fuse_alloc_submount_lookup()): inode = iget5_locked(sb, nodeid, fuse_inode_eq, fuse_inode_set, &nodeid); if (!inode) return NULL; A NULL root makes get_fuse_inode() a container_of() on NULL and the nlookup decrement a write to a bogus address, oopsing the mount. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse: invalidate the correct range after O_APPEND direct write fuse_direct_write_iter() captures pos before generic_write_checks(), which moves ki_pos to EOF for O_APPEND writes: fuse_direct_write_iter() { pos = iocb->ki_pos; /* 0 (user-supplied) */ generic_write_checks(); /* ki_pos -> EOF */ fuse_direct_io(); /* writes at EOF, correct */ invalidate(pos, pos + res); /* [0, res) -- wrong */ } The post-write invalidation targets a stale range instead of the actual written range at EOF. This can cause data inconsistency when the file size is not page-aligned. The tail page straddling EOF has a valid portion before EOF that concurrent readers can fault back in during the DIO write window: Tail page (file size X not page-aligned): page_start X (EOF) page_end |--- valid data ----|-- stale --| CPU0 (O_APPEND DIO writer) CPU1 (buffered reader) -------------------------- ---------------------- invalidate [X, X+len) tail page evicted FUSE_WRITE in flight ... read [p

  • Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse: Fix the condition to enable over-io-uring The existing condition in fuse_uring_cmd()CVE-2026-90095 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse: Fix the condition to enable over-io-uring The existing condition in fuse_uring_cmd() is there only to avoid disabling io-uring for connections that already run with it, missing was a condition to refuse any IORING_OP_URING_CMD if the connection/channel didn't get enabled because of missing FUSE_INIT reply flag FUSE_OVER_IO_URING. Without the reply flag the barrier in fuse_uring_ready() doesn't work and IO could already be going on and cause deadlock states (at a minimum one between fch->bg_lock and queue->lock). The change itself is trivial, but brings behavior change, FUSE_OVER_IO_URING has to be set in the FUSE_INIT_REPLY by fuse servers to accept any IORING_OP_URING_CMD. Libfuse does that and the only non-libfuse implementation I found (fractal-fuse) also does it. Qemu patches for fuse-io-uring are not merged yet, as far as I know. Moved up is the smp_load_acquire(&fch->initialized) check, as a fuse-server implementation might try to setup io-uring before FUSE_INIT is processed and might have gotten -EOPNOTSUPP instead of -EAGAIN. Also fixed is a stale comment that explains the handling of the FUSE_OV

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt76: mt7915: bound the device EEPROM address before the EFUSE copy mt7915_mcu_get_eeprom() copies a fixed EFUSE block into the driver's dev->mt76.eeprom.data buffer at the offset reported by the MCU response (res->addr, a device-controlled __le32) without checking it against the buffer size. A malicious or malfunctioning device can report an arbitrary address and drive a 16-byte out-of-bounds write past eeprom.data. Reject a response whose address would place the copy outside eeprom.data before deriving the destination pointer. Devices that echo the requested in-bounds offset are unaffected.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt76: mt7996: bound the device EEPROM address before the EFUSE copy mt7996_mcu_get_eeprom() derives the destination of the EFUSE/EXT block copy from the address reported by the MCU response (event->addr, a device-controlled __le32) and clamps only the copy length, never the destination offset into dev->mt76.eeprom.data. A malicious or malfunctioning device can report an arbitrary address and drive an out-of-bounds write of up to MT7996_EXT_EEPROM_BLOCK_SIZE bytes past eeprom.data. Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
