Incomplete List of Disallowed Inputs (CWE-184) in the dangerous-extension confirmation of the archive object viewer (peach.pas, grid_obj_open) in PeaZip 10.5.0 through 11.2.0 on Windows allows an attacker who convinces a victim to open an entry of a crafted archive to execute a program, or an arbitrary command, with no confirmation dialog. The prompt (Do you want to run this file?) is gated by SECEXTCONST, a hard-coded list of seven extensions (exe cmd msi bat ps1 vbs reg); the check is an exact string comparison of the entry extension against that list, so it answers only whether the extension is one of the seven and never whether the shell will execute the file. Shell-executable and scripting-host types that Windows runs through ShellExecuteW are absent from the list, among them .url and .lnk. An archived Windows Internet Shortcut (.url) whose URL line is attacker-controlled is launched with no prompt, while the byte-identical content in an entry named .bat does raise the warning in the same session. A .lnk entry raises the ceiling from launching a program to running a command line, because a Windows shortcut carries arguments: a proof-of-concept shortcut targeting cmd.exe with a

  • Oct 1, 2026MISP contains a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the legacy taxonomy tag management confirmation forms (add tag and disable tag).CVE-2026-103662 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.1

MISP contains a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the legacy taxonomy tag management confirmation forms (add tag and disable tag). The affected forms echoed a user-supplied tag name value from the request unescaped into the rendered HTML output. An attacker who can induce a site administrator to visit a crafted URL containing a malicious tag name parameter can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the administrator's browser session. Preconditions: - The target must be running a MISP instance with the legacy taxonomy tag confirmation views enabled. - The victim must be an authenticated site administrator. - The victim must navigate to the attacker-crafted URL (e.g., via a phishing link). Security impact: - Execution of arbitrary client-side script in the context of the administrator's browser. - Potential theft of session tokens, CSRF tokens, or other sensitive data accessible from the page. - Potential for performing privileged actions on behalf of the administrator within the MISP interface. Affected versions: <2.5.48.

  • Sep 22, 2026MISP contains a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the event REST search export confirmation form.CVE-2026-95665 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.1

MISP contains a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the event REST search export confirmation form. The view template app/View/Events/ajax/eventRestSearchExportConfirmationForm.ctp renders a URL-supplied event ID list into a single-quoted JavaScript string literal using PHP's json_encode() without any hex-encoding flags. By default, json_encode() escapes double quotes and backslashes but does not escape single quotes. Because the JavaScript string is delimited by single quotes, an attacker can inject a single-quote character to terminate the string literal and execute arbitrary JavaScript in the victim's browser session. The vulnerability affects the Default and UiBeta themes, both of which render this view. The Overmind theme's own copy of the form already passed the value through an escaped data attribute and was not affected by this specific sink. Preconditions: the victim must be an authenticated MISP user and must actively open or navigate to the attacker-crafted URL. The attacker does not require an account or any prior access to the MISP instance. Security impact: successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the MISP

Concrete CMS 9.4.0 through 9.5.2 did not escape colliding page paths before rendering them in the location panel's duplicate-path confirmation dialog. • Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: RFCOMM: serialize security confirmation handling rfcomm_security_cfm() looks upCVE-2026-89569 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: RFCOMM: serialize security confirmation handling rfcomm_security_cfm() looks up a session on session_list and then walks its DLC list without holding rfcomm_mutex. Since RFCOMM session teardown uses rfcomm_mutex, krfcommd can close and free the same session and DLCs concurrently: hci_rx_work krfcommd ----------- --------- rfcomm_session_get() rfcomm_lock() rfcomm_session_close() rfcomm_dlc_unlink() rfcomm_session_del() kfree(s) rfcomm_unlock() walk s->dlcs The callback can then read a freed session list head and touch freed DLCs while updating their flags or timers. Serialize the session lookup and DLC traversal in rfcomm_security_cfm() with rfcomm_mutex. This matches the existing RFCOMM session lifetime rules and prevents concurrent rfcomm_session_del() / rfcomm_dlc_unlink() from tearing the objects down while the callback is using them. Robots::Validate versions from 0.3.2 before 0.3.11 for Perl allow unbounded outbound DNS queries per validation via a forward-confirmation loop that does not bound the names it queries. _check_dns issues one PTR query for the client address, keeps the returned names matching the rule's domain, and issues a forward query for each until one resolves back to that address. Nothing bounds that list, and a client controls the reverse zone for its own address, so it chooses how many names the PTR answer holds. Net::DNS refetches a truncated answer over TCP by default, so the 512-byte UDP payload does not cap it either. Any client whose User-Agent matches a rule with a domain reaches _check_dns. Each forward name is distinct and client-chosen, so every query misses the local cache and is resolved against the authoritative servers for that domain. The queries are synchronous, so the caller is held until all of them answer or time out.

Joomla Extension - j2commerce.com - Unauthenticated PayPal callback forgery leading to order confirmation fraud in J2Store 1.0.0-3.3.21, 4.0.0-4.0.21, 4.1.0-4.1.6 - The PayPal IPN listener's signature check (`_validateIPN()`) accepted `UNVERIFIED` and any non-`INVALID` response as valid, made its verification request with `CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER` disabled, and stored its verdict in a field nothing downstream ever checked — so processing continued regardless of the outcome. Separately, the paid-amount comparison only ran when `mc_gross` was a positive number; omitting the field from the POST body (`floatval(null) == 0`) skipped the check entirely. Combined with a merchant-configured `receiver_email` and a sequential, enumerable order id read from the `custom` field, an anonymous POST was enough to move a pending order straight to `CONFIRMED` with no payment, or force another customer's pending order to `FAILED`. `paypalv2.php` performed no amount check under any circumstances.

ATutor generates predictable email confirmation tokens due to the use of insufficiently random values in the account confirmation functionality. Due to the use of predictable values related to user registration, an attacker who knows or can predict these values can guess valid account activation tokens. This allows an attacker to activate an unconfirmed account without access to the victim's email inbox. Product is no longer actively supported and the vulnerabilities have not been fixed. Only version 2.2.4 was tested and confirmed as vulnerable, other versions were not tested but might also be vulnerable.

A vulnerability in the Agent Development Kit (ADK) allows for continuation forgery in tool confirmations. An attacker who is able to manipulate or inject events into the session history can execute unauthorized tools by forging a tool confirmation response. This is possible because the framework did not verify if the target tool was registered to the executing agent, did not validate if the tool actually required confirmation, and did not match the confirmation arguments against the original tool call event in the history.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
