  • Oct 29, 2026Community Events: Does not have authorisation or nonce checksCVE-2026-86794 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScan

The Community Events WordPress plugin before 1.6.0 does not have authorisation or nonce checks when processing public event submissions, and does not escape several of the submitted values before outputting them in the administration dashboard and on the public calendar, allowing unauthenticated users to inject arbitrary web scripts that will execute in the browser of an administrator reviewing the submission.

  • Oct 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf: Fix perf_pmu_migrate_context() leaving events behind __perf_pmu_remove() walks the gCVE-2026-99187 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf: Fix perf_pmu_migrate_context() leaving events behind __perf_pmu_remove() walks the group leaders of a CPU and PMU with perf_event_groups_for_cpu_pmu(), removing each one as it goes. perf_remove_from_context() takes the leader out of the groups rbtree, after which rb_next() on that node returns NULL, prematurely ending the walk. Other groups stay behind in the source context. On CPU hotplug, they are then torn down with the dying CPU. They keep running until teardown, while the PMU's interrupt and migrated events are on a new CPU, which drivers rely on never happening. Walk ctx->event_list instead and pick out the PMU's events by their pmu_ctx.

  • Oct 27, 2026Atlantis is a self-hosted golang application that listens for Terraform pull request events via webhooks.CVE-2026-116676 · Other software · runatlantis · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

Atlantis is a self-hosted golang application that listens for Terraform pull request events via webhooks. From version 0.4.0 until 0.47.1, Atlantis passes the pull-request-controlled workspace value from atlantis.yaml into Terraform command arguments that are joined with strings.Join(args, " ") and executed through sh -c. An authenticated contributor whose pull request is eligible for an Atlantis plan can include shell metacharacters in the workspace name, causing arbitrary commands to execute as the Atlantis service account without custom workflows, apply permission, or a malicious Terraform provider. External contributors can reach the flaw through fork pull requests only when --allow-fork-prs is enabled, while eligible same-repository branches do not require that option. The commands inherit the Atlantis process environment and can access cloud-provider, Terraform, and version-control credentials as well as files, state, and network resources available to the service. This issue is fixed in version 0.47.1.

In versions 1.0.0 and prior, App\Utils\UrlUtils::isUrlSafe() is the SSRF guard applied to user-supplied import URLs. It can be bypassed two ways, both reaching internal/localhost services when the URL is later fetched by ImportCuratorEvents (Http::get($url) then the response body is parsed and imported as events, and file_get_contents($ogImage)). • Oct 21, 2026Slack Morphism is a client library for Slack Web/Events API/Socket Mode and Block Kit.CVE-2026-113799 · Other software · abdolence · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Slack Morphism is a client library for Slack Web/Events API/Socket Mode and Block Kit. Versions 1.0.0 through 2.27.0 expose the correct Slack request HMAC when signature verification fails. For an invalid request, `slack-morphism` computes the correct signature for the attacker-controlled timestamp and request body and stores it in `SlackEventWrongSignatureError.generated_hash`. The error's `Debug` and `Display` representations expose that value, and the default Axum listener error handler logs it at error level. An attacker who can both reach the application's Slack callback endpoint and read its application/service logs can therefore use the verifier as a chosen-message HMAC oracle. The attacker can send an arbitrary request with an invalid signature, recover the correct signature from the resulting log entry, and resend the same request within the five-minute freshness window. The second request passes Slack Morphism's signature verification and reaches the protected application callback without the attacker knowing the Slack signing secret. Version 2.28.0 patches the issue.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: Fix slab-out-of-bounds when handling team device events The mlx5_handle_changeupper_event() and mlx5_handle_changeinfodata_event() functions check for LAG masters (which includes both bonding and team devices) but only call bonding-specific APIs. When processing team device events, calling bond_slave_get_rcu() and bond_is_slave_inactive() on team_port structures causes KASAN to detect an out-of-bounds memory access since team_port is smaller than bond slave. Fix this by wrapping the bond-specific API calls with a check for bonding devices. This allows the function to still process LAG events for both bonding and teams but only calls bond-specific functions when dealing with actual bonding devices. For mlx5_handle_changeinfodata_event(), keep the explicit bond check as mlx5 doesn't handle state information for team ports anyway. Tested with Mellanox ConnectX-5 on Linux 7.2.0-rc6: - Bonding: PASS (no regressions) - Team device: PASS (no KASAN errors)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf: Require kernel access for text poke events Perf events with exclude_kernel=1 can be opened without kernel perf access. However, exclude_kernel does not suppress text-poke sideband records. Every PERF_RECORD_TEXT_POKE is marked PERF_RECORD_MISC_KERNEL and contains a raw kernel instruction address. An unprivileged task can therefore open and mmap a task-local software event with text_poke=1. Both opening a count-only tracepoint event and configuring UDP GRO for ESP-in-UDP cause updates to inline static calls; the observer receives the relocated addresses of the modified instructions. For a known kernel image, any such address reveals the runtime kernel text base despite KASLR. Call perf_allow_kernel() whenever attr.text_poke is set, regardless of exclude_kernel. Events that neither monitor kernel execution nor request text-poke records retain their existing permissions.

For pull request events, Gitea reads workflow definitions from the pull request head and posts a synthetic skipped status when workflow branch or path filters exclude execution. A fork pull request author can supply a workflow matching a required status context but deliberately prevent it from running. Because skipped statuses count as success, branch protection or organization-required workflow checks can appear satisfied without the mandated workflow executing; no runner or maintainer approval is required for this path.

  • Oct 7, 2026MISP contains a defect in its event save workflow that prevents the correlation engine from recalculating correlations when an event's distribution level or shaCVE-2026-107175 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.3

MISP contains a defect in its event save workflow that prevents the correlation engine from recalculating correlations when an event's distribution level or sharing group is modified. When a user edits an existing event and changes its distribution or sharing_group_id, the internal before-save hook stored the incoming (new) data rather than the previously persisted values. As a result, the after-save comparison that determines whether a correlation refresh is needed never detected the change, and stale correlations persisted. Security impact: - Stale correlations may continue to expose event data to users in a broader sharing group after the event has been moved to a more restrictive group, resulting in unintended information disclosure. - Conversely, newly relevant correlations may not appear after a distribution widening, degrading the completeness of threat intelligence sharing. Preconditions: - An authenticated user with write access to at least one MISP event. - The user modifies the event's distribution or sharing_group_id field. Affected versions: <2.5.48

  • Oct 2, 2026MISP contains an authorization bypass in the related events listing functionality.CVE-2026-104910 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.3

MISP contains an authorization bypass in the related events listing functionality. When a user requests the list of events correlated to a given event, the system retrieved related event metadata directly from the correlation table without re-validating the caller's access rights against each related event. The correlation table stores a snapshot of the event's distribution level and sharing group at the time the correlation was created, and does not carry the published flag. As a result, events that the caller is not permitted to open—because they are unpublished, or because their distribution or sharing group has changed since the correlation was recorded—were still returned with their metadata (title, date, correlating value counts). Preconditions: - An authenticated user with access to at least one event in MISP. - The existence of correlation entries linking that event to other events the user should not be able to view. Impact: - Unauthorized disclosure of event metadata (titles, dates, correlation counts) for events the user has no right to access. - Potential reconnaissance of threat-intelligence event names and timelines across sharing groups.
