Oct 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pipe: preserve existing fasync readers on writer setup failure F_SETFL and FIOASYNC decideCVE-2026-99203 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pipe: preserve existing fasync readers on writer setup failure F_SETFL and FIOASYNC decide whether to invoke ->fasync() before pipe_fasync() takes pipe->mutex. Two enables of one O_RDWR FIFO can therefore both enter the callback. fasync_helper() allocates before checking for an existing entry. If the first enable installs both entries, a second enable can update the reader entry and then fail the allocation for the writer entry. The error path removes the pre-existing reader entry, clearing FASYNC while the writer entry remains registered. __fput() then skips ->fasync(), so a later pipe notification can dereference the freed file or its f_owner. An unprivileged memory-pressure reproducer triggers a KASAN slab-use-after-free in send_sigio() through this path. Keep the reader helper's result and undo the registration only if this call added it. The pipe mutex serializes changes to both lists, so a failed new registration still removes its reader, while a failed duplicate preserves the existing registrations and FASYNC. Successful duplicate enables continue to update fa_fd as before.

Oct 27, 2026GRR is a resource management and reservation application.CVE-2026-58257 · Other software · JeromeDevome · reported by GitHubHigh 7.2
GRR is a resource management and reservation application. Prior to the advisory-reported fixed version 4.5.0, the database restoration feature fails to enforce or validate file paths. A user with administrator privileges can manipulate the input to read or delete arbitrary files on the server, causing sensitive file disclosure and denial of service through file deletion. The impact is amplified when the server runs with elevated privileges. The advisory reports this issue as fixed in version 4.5.0.

Oct 27, 2026GRR is a resource management and reservation application.CVE-2026-58256 · Other software · JeromeDevome · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1
GRR is a resource management and reservation application. Prior to the advisory-reported fixed version 4.5.0, an administrator can inject malicious PHP through LDAP connector configuration parameters such as `ldap_filter`, poisoning `/personnalisation/config_ldap.inc.php` and permitting remote code execution. The administrator must first successfully connect to an LDAP server, which can be attacker-controlled, and then submit malicious input on the subsequent connector settings page. The advisory reports this issue as fixed in version 4.5.0.

Oct 27, 2026GRR is a resource management and reservation application.CVE-2026-58205 · Other software · JeromeDevome · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
GRR is a resource management and reservation application. Prior to version 4.5.0, `maj.php` reflects the `forcemaj` parameter without adequate escaping when installation files remain accessible. Removal of these files is not automatic. An attacker can craft a URL that executes arbitrary JavaScript in a victim's browser when the victim accesses it. This reflected cross-site scripting can enable phishing, redirection to malicious sites, cookie theft and session hijacking because the authentication cookie is not `HttpOnly`. This issue is fixed in version 4.5.0.

When logging in to a Matrix account, Thunderbird used the homeserver address provided in the server's login response without validating it. A malicious or compromised homeserver could provide a file: URL, causing Thunderbird to send all further Matrix requests of that session to local files or, on Windows, to an attacker-controlled network share, which could leak the user's NTLM credentials. The NTLM credential leak only affects Thunderbird on Windows. Other operating systems are unaffected. This vulnerability was fixed in Thunderbird 159 and Thunderbird 153.6.

Oct 26, 2026The Bluetooth host pre-allocates a bt_conn object (a "reservation") from the fixed acl_conns[] pool for every connectable advertising set it starts, in le_adv_sCVE-2026-81039 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 4.3
The Bluetooth host pre-allocates a bt_conn object (a "reservation") from the fixed acl_conns[] pool for every connectable advertising set it starts, in le_adv_start_add_conn() in subsys/bluetooth/host/adv.c. When an incoming peripheral connection completes, find_pending_connect() in subsys/bluetooth/host/hci_core.c looked that reservation up using only the identity and the peer address, with a directed-then-undirected fallback, and had no knowledge of which advertising set actually terminated. With CONFIG_BT_EXT_ADV_MAX_ADV_SET > 1, where the LE Enhanced Connection Complete event is cached until the LE Advertising Set Terminated event identifies the set, this lookup can return the reservation belonging to a different, still-running advertising set. The defect is reachable over the air by any adjacent device. If an application runs two connectable extended advertising sets on the same identity — one undirected and one directed at a peer P (the common "directed reconnect to a bonded central while still accepting new centrals" pattern) — a remote initiator whose address maps to P connecting on the undirected set causes the directed set's reservation to be consumed instead. Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: selinux: preserve NATIVE_LABELS on already-initialized sb in set_mnt_opts When an NFSv4 fiCVE-2026-99052 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: selinux: preserve NATIVE_LABELS on already-initialized sb in set_mnt_opts When an NFSv4 filesystem exported with security_label is mounted a second time, sget_fc() returns the existing superblock and nfs_get_root() calls security_sb_set_mnt_opts() again on it. Since the superblock is already SB_INITIALIZED, selinux_set_mnt_opts() takes an early exit without setting SECURITY_LSM_NATIVE_LABELS in *set_kern_flags. nfs_get_root() then sees kflags without SECURITY_LSM_NATIVE_LABELS set and clears NFS_CAP_SECURITY_LABEL on the shared nfs_server, silently disabling per-file labeling for both the new and the original mount. Commit 3815a245b501 ("security/selinux: fix SECURITY_LSM_NATIVE_LABELS on reused superblock") fixed the same problem in selinux_sb_clone_mnt_opts(). The reused-superblock path for a plain second mount now goes through sb_set_mnt_opts rather than sb_clone_mnt_opts, so it needs the same treatment: on both SE_SBINITIALIZED early exits, set SECURITY_LSM_NATIVE_LABELS in *set_kern_flags when the superblock was already using SECURITY_FS_USE_NATVE.

Where that identity's SPF record authorises the server, other receivers' SPF check of the copy passed for a domain aligned with the From, and DMARC passed with it, although the message had not passed DMA

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: cfg80211: preserve hidden-group beacon IE ownership A hidden-group probe-response entry borrows its beacon IEs from the group's beacon entry. cfg80211_update_assoc_bss_entry() can pass such an entry to cfg80211_update_known_bss() when merging scan entries after a channel switch. Copying the borrowed beacon_ies into the associated entry gives the same allocation two owners. Releasing the group's beacon entry can then leave the associated entry pointing to freed IEs, which are freed again when that entry is released. Skip beacon IE replacement when the source entry belongs to a hidden group. Preserve probe-response processing, the subsequent metadata updates, and the existing rejection path for conflicting hidden beacon updates.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: SVM: Preserve TLB control (i.e. pending TLB flush) on failed VMRUN Don't reset the VMCB's TLB control back to "do nothing" on a failed VMRUN, as empirical testing shows that the CPU performs the requested TLB flush if and only if VMRUN is successful, i.e. clearing TLB control on a failed VMRUN effectively drops a TLB flush. Explicitly track the need to flush all ASIDs on a per-CPU basis, as the ASID reuse condition is tied to the pCPU, not to the vCPU. As a bonus, this also obviates the need to avoid clobbering FLUSH_ALL_ASID with TLB_CONTROL_FLUSH_ASID, e.g. in svm_flush_tlb_asid(). Deliberately don't bother saving/restoring the "old" tlb_ctl on failure, in quotes because it's not exactly the old tlb_ctl, it's the tlb_ctl from after pre_svm_run(), but before updating tlb_ctl for flush_all_asids. If VMRUN fails and TLB_CONTROL_FLUSH_ALL_ASID is forced, then the next successful run of the VMCB *may* unnecessarily flush all ASIDs, which strictly speaking could result in noisy neighbor issues. However, the fact that new_asid() is already guest-triggerable, because of KVM's flawed behavior of clearing the A

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: count only matching reservations in reserved switch ieee80211_vif_use_reserved_switch() validates a replacement by counting assigned links on ctx->replace_ctx and treating reservations too broadly. A link can still be assigned to the old channel context while holding a reservation that belongs to a different replacement operation. That can make the current replacement appear complete too early. If another link finalizes first, the function can free the WILL_BE_REPLACED chanctx while the unmatched link and driver still use it, leading to a use-after-free in later beacon generation. Require an in-place reservation to point at the current replacement context, and require the reserved and assigned contexts to be the matching replacement pair, before counting or moving the link.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Preserve packet pointer class displacement in regsafe() regsafe() maps packet pointerCVE-2026-98627 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Preserve packet pointer class displacement in regsafe() regsafe() maps packet pointer IDs between states and checks that each current register range is a subset of the corresponding explored register range. It does not, however, preserve the displacement between registers that share a packet pointer ID. This is unsound because packet range is shared by ID. A bounds check on one class member updates every member, and a later access can consume the range through another member. Commit 022ac0750883 ("bpf: use reg->var_off instead of reg->off for pointers") folded the fixed pointer offset into r64 and removed the old off equality check, so two individually narrower registers can prune even when their displacement has changed. The explored path can then license an out-of-bounds packet access on the pruned path. Require matching range bases for packet pointers with an ID. Together with the existing ID mapping, this preserves the displacement between members of each packet-pointer class without adding per-ID state. Packet pointers without an ID remain unaffected.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Check params size before reading reserved fields bpf_crypto_ctx_create() is a kfunc wCVE-2026-98611 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Check params size before reading reserved fields bpf_crypto_ctx_create() is a kfunc whose second argument is declared with the __sz annotation, so the verifier only guarantees that params__sz bytes of params are valid. The function nevertheless reads params->reserved[0] and params->reserved[1] (offsets 14 and 15) before comparing params__sz against the size of struct bpf_crypto_params, so a BPF program can pass a shorter buffer and have the kernel read past the region that was validated for it. Move the size check in front of the reserved field reads.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vxlan: use one headroom snapshot for neighbour replies vxlan_na_create() samples LL_RESERVCVE-2026-98568 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vxlan: use one headroom snapshot for neighbour replies vxlan_na_create() samples LL_RESERVED_SPACE() to size the reply skb and then samples it again to reserve headroom. A concurrent vxlan_changelink() can update needed_headroom between the two reads, creating a TOCTOU race. The second value can exceed the allocation and make the Ethernet header write out of bounds. The race is reproducible on the unpatched kernel. It occurred when vxlan_na_create() generated a neighbour reply while vxlan_changelink() changed the link headroom. KASAN caught a four-byte write two bytes beyond a 704-byte skbuff_small_head allocation. Snapshot the headroom once and use that value for both allocation and reservation.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vlan: ensure sufficient headroom in vlan_dev_hard_header() Callers that only reserve ETH_HCVE-2026-98554 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vlan: ensure sufficient headroom in vlan_dev_hard_header() Callers that only reserve ETH_HLEN or less (such as llc_alloc_frame()), or skbs allocated before dynamic device/headroom changes (e.g. toggling VLAN_FLAG_REORDER_HDR or bonding/team switching slaves), can reach vlan_dev_hard_header() with insufficient headroom and trigger skb_under_panic(). Use skb_cow_head() in vlan_dev_hard_header() when VLAN_FLAG_REORDER_HDR is not set to ensure sufficient headroom for the VLAN header(s) and the underlying device hard header. Use READ_ONCE() to read dev->hard_header_len and dev->needed_headroom as they can be updated concurrently under RTNL (e.g. in vlan_transfer_features()) while vlan_dev_hard_header() runs locklessly on the transmit path. Also avoid LL_RESERVED_SPACE(dev) here so that the extra HH_DATA_MOD alignment padding does not trigger unnecessary pskb_expand_head() reallocations on inner stacked VLAN devices after the outer VLAN header has been pushed.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fprobe: Terminate the fgraph_data list when the reservation is not filled fprobe_fgraph_enCVE-2026-98540 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fprobe: Terminate the fgraph_data list when the reservation is not filled fprobe_fgraph_entry() reserves shadow stack space for every fprobe with an exit handler, but only fills it for those whose entry handler returns 0. fgraph_reserve_data() does not clear the area, so fprobe_return() parses the unused tail as headers left over from an earlier call, and an exit handler can run twice or despite its entry handler asking to skip it. Write a zero word after the last entry to terminate the walk. A zeroed slot does not decode to a NULL fprobe on the arches that encode the header into one unsigned long, since arch_decode_fprobe_header_fp() ORs in FPROBE_HEADER_MSB_PATTERN, so make read_fprobe_header() return NULL for a zeroed slot.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: llc: reserve device headroom for allocated frames llc_alloc_frame() reserves link-layer heCVE-2026-98526 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: llc: reserve device headroom for allocated frames llc_alloc_frame() reserves link-layer headroom using the device type. This is insufficient for stacked Ethernet devices such as VLAN devices, where vlan_dev_hard_header() pushes a VLAN header before the lower device's Ethernet header. An LLC response on such a device can therefore underflow skb headroom in eth_header(). Use LL_RESERVED_SPACE() to account for the device's actual required headroom while preserving the existing LLC device-type check.

Oct 13, 2026The authorization middleware of the WMS MobileServer fails to require authentication in two distinct cases.CVE-2026-89309 · Other software · JTL SW GmbH · reported by a6d3dc9e-0591-4a13-bce7-0f5b31ff6158Critical 10
The authorization middleware of the WMS MobileServer fails to require authentication in two distinct cases. First, it only requires an Authorization header for GET and HEAD requests; requests using any other HTTP method are processed without an authentication check. Second, for any HTTP method including GET and HEAD, a request carrying a malformed or non-bearer Authorization header is passed through without a valid token being required. The middleware does validate a token whenever a well-formed one is present, but in these two cases it does not require one. A remote attacker with network access to the service can therefore invoke API functionality without valid credentials.

The LatePoint - Appointment Booking & Reservation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in versions up to, and including, 5.6.9. This is due to the process_step_customer() function using is_user_logged_in() as the sole gate before merging POSTed customer data into an existing LatePoint customer, without any ownership checks. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to modify the personal information (first name, last name, email, phone, notes) of arbitrary LatePoint customers, and, when the contact_merge setting is 'phone', to overwrite the victim's email address and take over the account via a password reset.

Oct 7, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/hugetlb: preserve mremap address delta when skipping page tables move_hugetlb_page_tablCVE-2026-98373 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/hugetlb: preserve mremap address delta when skipping page tables move_hugetlb_page_tables() optimizes mremap() by advancing to the last entry in the page table when the source page table does not exist, either initially or after unsharing a PMD table. The common loop increment then steps to the first entry in the next page table. However, the code advances both the source and destination addresses to the last entries in their respective page tables, which is wrong. The destination address must be advanced only by the same amount as the source address. If the source and destination offsets within their page tables differ, the destination address can be advanced too far, causing follow-up issues. Fix this by advancing the destination address by the source advance distance. With a reproducer, we were able to trigger a kernel panic on x86-64. With this fix in place, we can no longer reproduce the issue.
