  • Oct 30, 2026Cool FormKit Lite – Advanced Form Builder for Elementor: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-118500 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Cool FormKit Lite – Advanced Form Builder for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the '_elementor_data.form_fields[].custom_id' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.9 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The esc_html() call applied at server emission is bypassed because the HTML fragment-serialization algorithm restores " to a raw double-quote inside text nodes when jQuery .html() extracts the template, allowing the attacker-controlled custom_id to break out of an HTML attribute context within the plugin's own frontend script.

  • Oct 29, 2026HT Mega Addons for Elementor – Elementor Widgets & Template Builder: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-111318 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4

The HT Mega Addons for Elementor – Elementor Widgets & Template Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'href attribute of <a> inside .htmega-tab-nav' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation requires a co-installed plugin such as wpDiscuz with its rich editor enabled whose markup allowlist permits span[class] and a[href] storage, an HT Mega Tabs widget present on the same page as the comment section, and a victim user click on the injected anchor link.

  • Oct 29, 2026Greenshift – animation and page builder blocks: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-107629 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4

The Greenshift – animation and page builder blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 13.2.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the affected post page to include an Advanced HTML Element block with Split Text animation enabled wrapping a Latest Comments block that displays comment excerpts, as this configuration causes splittext.js to be enqueued and to process the comment content container.

Exploitation requires an administrator to have published a page containing a Text Animated block with Content set to Blocks, a Latest Comments block with excerpts enabled nested inside it, and at least one Animated Texts value configured — conditions that cause the gs-textanimate script to be enqueued and process the comment excerpts.

  • Oct 29, 2026Extensions for Leaflet Map: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-103485 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4

The Extensions for Leaflet Map plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'feature.properties[<template-token>]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires that a site administrator has previously configured a public map using the [leaflet-map]+[leaflet-geojson]+[choropleth] shortcode combination whose GeoJSON src URL is one the attacker controls — for example, through compromise of an external data host, a subdomain takeover, or a site intentionally pointing at an attacker-hosted feed.

  • Oct 28, 2026MxChat – AI Chatbot & Content Generation for: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-110662 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The MxChat – AI Chatbot & Content Generation for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'feedback' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.25 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The stored payload is written by any unauthenticated visitor via a single POST to admin-ajax.php and detonates automatically when any administrator next loads the Transcripts page.

  • Oct 28, 2026Document Embedder – let visitors read files without downloading: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-109370 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Document Embedder – let visitors read files without downloading plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'content (post_content containing block JSON documentSource.doc)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The payload is triggered specifically when the victim clicks the embedded document's Download button, which causes the de_track_download AJAX fallback path to programmatically create an anchor with the attacker-controlled href and call .click() — a condition reached because supplying docId=0 causes can_read_document() to return false, bypassing the normal download flow.

  • Oct 28, 2026Rank Math SEO – AI SEO Tools to Dominate SEO Rankings: PHP Object InjectionCVE-2026-1928 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The Rank Math SEO – AI SEO Tools to Dominate SEO Rankings plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.276 via deserialization of untrusted input in the updateMeta REST API endpoint. This makes it possible forauthenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject a PHP Object. The additional presence of a POP chain allows attackers to achieve remote code execution by writing a webshell to the uploads directory.

The Booking Package WordPress plugin before 1.7.31 does not generate booking cancellation tokens using a secure source of randomness, deriving them instead from values it exposes publicly, so an unauthenticated attacker can reconstruct an arbitrary booking's token, disclose that booking's personal data and, where visitor cancellation is enabled, cancel the booking.

  • Oct 17, 2026YMC Filter: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-109983 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The YMC Filter plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'post_title' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.12.19 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The autocomplete REST endpoint is registered with a permission callback that unconditionally returns true, meaning any site visitor — including unauthenticated users — can trigger the payload simply by typing in the YMC filter search box, while only Author-level access is required to store it.

  • Oct 16, 2026Salon Booking System: Does not generate its booking-API access tokens from a secure random sourceCVE-2026-110013 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 4.8

The Salon Booking System WordPress plugin before 10.31.9 does not generate its booking-API access tokens from a secure random source, instead deriving them from a value hardcoded in the Salon Booking System WordPress plugin before 10.31.9 and the second at which a token was issued. An attacker able to constrain when a staff or administrator token was issued can compute a valid token and access the booking API as that user, including an administrator.

  • Oct 16, 2026Opti-Behavior – Self-Hosted Heatmaps, Session Recordings, Funnels, A/B Testing & Smart Insights: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-95809 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Opti-Behavior – Self-Hosted Heatmaps, Session Recordings, Funnels, A/B Testing & Smart Insights plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via 'country_name' Location Parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.9.2.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The heatmap recording endpoint accepts unauthenticated requests protected only by a nonce that any visitor can freely obtain via the public opti_behavior_refresh_nonces AJAX action, removing any practical barrier to injecting the malicious payload.

This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The ingest endpoint is gated only by a nonce that is publicly emitted to every anonymous visitor on tracked pages via optiBehaviorHeatmapConfig.nonce, meaning no account or authentication of any kind is required to write the malicious payload.

  • Oct 16, 2026SiteOrigin CSS: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-111122 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The SiteOrigin CSS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'href' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation requires the malicious comment to be approved and an administrator to subsequently open the Visual Inspector and click the attacker's anchor link, both of which are plausible interactions during routine comment triage.

  • Oct 16, 2026SiteOrigin CSS: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-107764 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The SiteOrigin CSS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'url (comment_author_url)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is possible because WordPress core's esc_url() preserves HTML entity-encoded characters, allowing a crafted entity-encoded payload in the comment 'Website' field to survive storage and be DOM-decoded by the browser into executable markup at the sink.

  • Oct 10, 2026SureDash – Community, Courses & Member Dashboard: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-102774 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The SureDash – Community, Courses & Member Dashboard plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via Image 'alt' Attribute in Community Post Content in all versions up to, and including, 1.12.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The entity-encoded payload bypasses server-side wp_kses filtering because kses permits the img/alt tag combination and does not normalize entities inside attribute values; the decode occurs client-side when GLightbox reads the .alt DOM property and assigns the result to innerHTML.

  • Oct 10, 2026Molongui Authorship – Author Boxes, Guest Authors & Co-Authors for: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-101920 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Molongui Authorship – Author Boxes, Guest Authors & Co-Authors for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment (href attribute inside comment content)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.2.12 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is exploitable in the free build because the plugin's author-filter rewriter never appends the ?m_bm=true marker to its own anchors (Plugin::has_pro() returns false), meaning every href the byline script selects and rewrites is fully attacker-controlled.

  • Oct 10, 2026Quiz and Survey Master (QSM) – Quiz Maker & Survey Maker: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-96558 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Quiz and Survey Master (QSM) – Quiz Maker & Survey Maker plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'qsm_hidden_questions' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 11.2.6 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the attacker to force the mlw_results INSERT to fail by submitting an over-length or duplicate qsm_unique_key value, which triggers the audit trail code branch that writes the unescaped payload to wp_mlw_qm_audit_trail.form_data.

  • Oct 10, 2026Photo Reviews for WooCommerce: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-100161 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Photo Reviews for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'wcpr_image_upload_id' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.30 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The publicly-emitted `wcpr_image_upload` nonce printed on every product review form is the only gate, and no capability, authentication, or attachment ownership check is performed, allowing the payload to be stored in comment meta — which is not subject to `wp_kses` — by any unauthenticated visitor; the XSS fires once the review is visible on the frontend.

This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. This is only exploitable on pages embedding a form that has a text field configured with a query_var Dynamic Preset and a data-jfb-macro or JFB_FIELD:: macro reference targeting that field, both of which are standard, documented plugin features.

The Visitor Traffic Real Time Statistics plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via 'X-Real-IP' HTTP Header in all versions up to, and including, 8.16 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires no authentication, no nonce, and no capability — the wp_ajax_nopriv_ahcfree_track_visitor endpoint accepts the forged X-Real-IP header from any unauthenticated HTTP request and stores the entity-encoded payload verbatim in the database.

The Listdom: AI-powered Business Directory with Classifieds Ads Listings plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'lsd[remark]' Parameter in all versions up to, and including, 6.1.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is exploitable by Subscriber-level users because the listing-creation branch of the AJAX handler omits a capability check, and the required nonce is publicly emitted on any page containing the [listdom-dashboard] shortcode.

The Calculated Fields Form – AI Form Builder for WordPress – Contact, Payment, Quote, Quiz & More plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'x (attacker-chosen name matching the form's url.<name> predefined value)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.5.1.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Exploitation requires the target site to have a public form configured with a Select2-enabled dropdown whose choices are populated via a calculated equation that pipes a URL parameter through GETURLPARAMETER() into setChoices({texts:[...]}); given that configuration, exploitation requires only a single crafted link.

The Better Messages – Chat Rooms, Group Chat, Private Messages & AI Chat Bots plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via User Display Name in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is exploitable by Subscriber-level users because WordPress core's sanitize_text_field() preserves HTML-entity-encoded payloads (e.g., an iframe srcdoc attribute), allowing the encoded string to be stored as a display name without requiring the unfiltered_html capability, and the plugin subsequently decodes it server-side before rendering.

  • Sep 5, 2026Divi: DOM-Based Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-3853 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Divi theme for WordPress is vulnerable to DOM-Based Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the `image_src` attribute of the `et_pb_video_slider_item` shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 4.27.6. This is due to the `image_src` field not being included in the `$url_options` whitelist (which only contains `url`, `button_link`, `button_url`), so it never receives `esc_url_raw()` at save time. On the server side, the value is rendered into a `data-image` HTML attribute using `esc_attr()`, which encodes double quotes as `"`. However, the client-side JavaScript carousel code in `custom.unified.js` reads this attribute using jQuery's `.data('image')`, which returns the browser-decoded value (with `"` decoded back to `"`). The decoded value is then concatenated directly into an HTML string and injected into the DOM via `jQuery.after()` without re-escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user hovers over the carousel thumbnail.
