  • Oct 24, 2026aBlocks – Gutenberg Blocks, User Dashboard Builder, Popup Builder, Form Builder & Animation Builder: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-110018 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The aBlocks – Gutenberg Blocks, User Dashboard Builder, Popup Builder, Form Builder & Animation Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 2.17.0 via the `/ablocks/v1/form-builder/registration` REST endpoint. The vulnerability exists because the endpoint is registered with `permission_callback => __return_true` and the `register()` handler reads `roleSlug` directly from attacker-controlled block attributes in `post_content` without ever verifying that the block's `formType` is `registration` — a condition that `RegistrationFormSanitizer::verify()` imposes only at save-time, meaning a Contributor can preserve an arbitrary `roleSlug` by saving a block with `formType='login'` and then triggering the endpoint via a valid `wp_rest` nonce and post-ownership check. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to escalate their WordPress role to Editor or any other non-administrator role and receive a fully authenticated session at the elevated privilege level via `WP_User::set_role()` and `wp_set_auth_cookie()`. Escalation is bounded below administrator-tier roles because `is_safe

  • Oct 16, 2026SureDash – Community, Courses & Member Dashboard: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-96870 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The SureDash – Community, Courses & Member Dashboard plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'display_name' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.12.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The exploit is triggered when any user hovers over a comment's like counter on a community page, as the plugin's tooltip handler assigns the attacker-controlled data-tooltip-description attribute value directly to innerHTML, re-parsing the browser-decoded entity payload as live HTML.

  • Oct 10, 2026SureDash – Community, Courses & Member Dashboard: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-102774 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The SureDash – Community, Courses & Member Dashboard plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via Image 'alt' Attribute in Community Post Content in all versions up to, and including, 1.12.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The entity-encoded payload bypasses server-side wp_kses filtering because kses permits the img/alt tag combination and does not normalize entities inside attribute values; the decode occurs client-side when GLightbox reads the .alt DOM property and assigns the result to innerHTML.

  • Aug 28, 2026WPMU DEV Dashboard: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-76581 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.1. This is due to inconsistent and ambiguous HMAC message construction between the unauthenticated `wdpsso_step1` and `wdpsso_step2` AJAX actions, where step 1 signs and discloses an unseparated concatenation of the token, state, redirect, and domain values, while step 2 verifies an unseparated concatenation that omits the domain field. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers, on sites connected to WPMU DEV with Hub SSO enabled and mapped to an administrator, to obtain a valid HMAC from step 1 and replay it to step 2 by moving the domain value into the redirect field, resulting in an authenticated administrator session.

The SureDash – Community, Courses & Member Dashboard plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'draweropenverposition' Block/Shortcode Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 1.10.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The injected payload is stored inside the block-delimiter HTML comment's JSON, which wp_kses_post does not neutralize on save, and is only interpolated into the rendered style attribute at display time without esc_attr() escaping, allowing a double-quote to break out of the attribute and introduce arbitrary HTML event handlers.

  • Aug 6, 2026WPMU DEV Dashboard: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-15459 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.0. On sites not yet connected to the WPMU DEV Hub — the default state after installation — the site API key that keys the WDP-AUTH request signature is empty, making the signature verified by validate_hash() trivially forgeable; version 5.0.0 additionally removed the replay check in validate_nonce(), and the remote handler is bound to the public init hook with no capability check. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to invoke privileged Hub actions — including installing and activating a plugin from an attacker-supplied URL (resulting in remote code execution), deleting plugins and themes, upgrading WordPress core, or logging in as an administrator via SSO. Sites connected to a WPMU DEV account, which have a non-empty 64-character API key, are not affected.

  • Aug 5, 2026The plugin provides an Admin Search page that allows users with the `edit_posts` capability to run Relevanssi searches from the WordPress dashboard.CVE-2026-15941 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The plugin provides an Admin Search page that allows users with the `edit_posts` capability to run Relevanssi searches from the WordPress dashboard. The AJAX handler accepts a URL-encoded `args` parameter, parses it into a `WP_Query`, and then passes user-controlled taxonomy query data into Relevanssi's taxonomy restriction builder. The taxonomy value is sanitized as text but is not parameterized for SQL before being interpolated into a term taxonomy lookup query. This allows an authenticated contributor-level attacker to inject SQL through the Admin Search AJAX request and execute time-based blind SQL injection against the WordPress database.

    What to do

  • Jul 30, 2026FleekDash V2: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-14356 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The FleekDash V2 plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.6.2.2. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to overwrite the email address and password of any WordPress user, including administrators, enabling full account takeover and complete site compromise. The public /wp-json/fleekdash/v1/register endpoint auto-provisions a Subscriber-role account and returns a valid REST nonce regardless of the site's users_can_register setting, enabling unauthenticated attackers to self-provision the required credentials and nonce in a single prior request.

The SysBasics Customize My Account for WooCommerce – Dashboard, Endpoints, Avatar & Menu Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'tab' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.3.6 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Because the vulnerable plugin_options_page() function is only rendered within the WordPress admin dashboard, successful exploitation requires the targeted victim to be logged in with Shop Manager-level access or higher.

  • Apr 24, 2026ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for: Missing AuthorizationCVE-2026-5488 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in versions up to and including 9.1.2. This is due to missing capability checks in the get_ads_access_token() and reset_experience() AJAX handlers. While the mi-admin-nonce is localized on all admin pages (including profile.php which subscribers can access), and while other similar AJAX endpoints in the same class properly check for the exactmetrics_save_settings capability, these two endpoints only verify the nonce. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to retrieve valid Google Ads access tokens and reset Google Ads integration settings.

  • Apr 23, 2026ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for WordPress (Website Stats Plugin): Unauthorized arbitrary plugin installation and activationCVE-2026-5464 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for WordPress (Website Stats Plugin) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized arbitrary plugin installation and activation in all versions up to, and including, 9.1.2. This is due to the reports page exposing the 'onboarding_key' transient to any user with the 'exactmetrics_view_dashboard' capability. This key is the sole authorization gate for the '/wp-json/exactmetrics/v1/onboarding/connect-url' REST endpoint, which returns a one-time hash (OTH) token. This OTH token is then the only credential checked by the 'exactmetrics_connect_process' AJAX endpoint — which has no capability check, no nonce verification, and accepts an arbitrary plugin ZIP URL via the file parameter for installation and activation. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Editor-level access and above granted the report viewing permission, to install and activate arbitrary plugins from attacker-controlled URLs, leading to Remote Code Execution.

  • Apr 9, 2026Experto Dashboard for WooCommerce: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-3574 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.4

The Experto Dashboard for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's settings fields (including 'Navigation Font Size', 'Navigation Font Weight', 'Heading Font Size', 'Heading Font Weight', 'Text Font Size', and 'Text Font Weight') in all versions up to and including 1.0.4. This is due to insufficient input sanitization (no sanitize callback in register_setting()) and missing output escaping (no esc_attr() in the field_callback() printf output) on user-supplied values. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in the plugin settings page that will execute whenever a user accesses the settings page. • Mar 23, 2026LearnDash LMS: Blind time-based SQL InjectionCVE-2026-3079 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The LearnDash LMS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to blind time-based SQL Injection via the 'filters[orderby_order]' parameter in the 'learndash_propanel_template' AJAX action in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.3. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
