  • Oct 28, 2026Joker is a small Clojure interpreter, linter and formatter written in Go.CVE-2026-59172 · Other software · candid82 · reported by GitHubHigh 7.8

Joker is a small Clojure interpreter, linter and formatter written in Go. Prior to 1.8.2, `joker --lint <file>` walks upward from the linted file to locate a `.jokerd/` directory and executes matching `linter.*` files before linting. Those files contain executable Joker/Clojure code, so linting a file inside an untrusted repository can execute repository-supplied code with the linter user's privileges. Editor integrations and CI jobs that automatically lint checked-out source can trigger this behavior. The patch stops executing project-local linter customizations and loads executable customization only from the user's home directory. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.2.

In Clojure before 1.9.0, classes can be used to construct a serialized object that executes arbitrary code upon deserialization. This is relevant if a server deserializes untrusted objects.

  • Mar 27, 2023lambdaisland/uri is a pure Clojure/ClojureScript URI library.CVE-2023-28628 · Other software · lambdaisland · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

lambdaisland/uri is a pure Clojure/ClojureScript URI library. In versions prior to 1.14.120 `authority-regex` allows an attacker to send malicious URLs to be parsed by the `lambdaisland/uri` and return the wrong authority. This issue is similar to but distinct from CVE-2020-8910. The regex in question doesn't handle the backslash (`\`) character in the username correctly, leading to a wrong output. ex. a payload of `https://example.com\\@google.com` would return that the host is `google.com`, but the correct host should be `example.com`. Given that the library returns the wrong authority this may be abused to bypass host restrictions depending on how the library is used in an application. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.

  • Aug 15, 2022Venice is a Clojure inspired sandboxed Lisp dialect with excellent Java interoperability.CVE-2022-36007 · Other software · jlangch · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1

Venice is a Clojure inspired sandboxed Lisp dialect with excellent Java interoperability. A partial path traversal issue exists within the functions `load-file` and `load-resource`. These functions can be limited to load files from a list of load paths. Assuming Venice has been configured with the load paths: `[ "/Users/foo/resources" ]` When passing **relative** paths to these two vulnerable functions everything is fine: `(load-resource "test.png")` => loads the file "/Users/foo/resources/test.png" `(load-resource "../resources-alt/test.png")` => rejected, outside the load path When passing **absolute** paths to these two vulnerable functions Venice may return files outside the configured load paths: `(load-resource "/Users/foo/resources/test.png")` => loads the file "/Users/foo/resources/test.png" `(load-resource "/Users/foo/resources-alt/test.png")` => loads the file "/Users/foo/resources-alt/test.png" !!! The latter call suffers from the _Partial Path Traversal_ vulnerability. This issue’s scope is limited to absolute paths whose name prefix matches a load path. E.g. for a load-path `"/Users/foo/resources"`, the actor can cause loading a resource also from `"/Users/foo/resource

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
